Alastor sighed as his little one cried out for the 3rd time today. They were at a center for Littles in Hell, and Alastor hoped it would be a good idea, but this didn't seem to be working out.

Alastor slowly approached them, before quickening his pace when they began to hit themself in the head. He picked them up gently, pulling their hands away from their head. They squirmed and cried out louder, but Alastor knew there was little else he could do but get them out of there.

He gently carried them out of the building, before phasing back to the hotel, into his room. (Y/N) cried out more at the feeling of shadow fading, but calmed down a bit when they realized where they were. Alastor gently pulled them closer, hugging them tightly. Slowly, they calmed down. Alastor let go of their hands.

"That's it, my dear. We're home. Daddy's got you," Alastor cooed.

"D-Daddy," (Y/N) cried softly. "(Y/N) sowwy."

"It's alright, fawn. I know you can't help it." Alastor sat down, pulling (Y/N)'s weighted blanket to him and covering the both with it. "Shh... Poor little darling."

(Y/N) snuggled into him, catching their breath as he soothed them.

"Rest, my dear. I'll be right here. Later, we will go down to see Uncle Husk and get something to eat, once it's quiet."

They quickly fell asleep on his lap, exhausted from the rough day.

A little angsty request Muichiro regresses and thinks Obanai is Yuichiro

Didn’t do it tooo angsty but I hope it’s still good (and added Mitsuri bc I felt it pushed things along better).

“He won’t let me put him down.” Iguro had been holding Muichiro for at least an hour at this point. As a demon slayer he had the strength to do so but somehow it was still tiring. Iguro wanted to go lie down for a bit or simply have some time to himself.

“Maybe he’s hungry,” Mitsuri suggested. She was clearly worried. Usually the younger hashira clinged to the woman. They could hardly be separated. For Tokito to barely have any interest in her was a sign something was wrong, except the boy seemed perfectly happy. “I’ll get some fruit for us!”

She disappears and still Muichiro barely blinks. He happily nuzzles Obanai’s chest and pulls at his hair. The one or two pieces that are a little longer are easy to grasp. The younger boy seems a little spacier than usual. In between soft kisses and tight hugs he stares at Iguro’s face with a strange look on his face. Then he blinks rapidly a few times and goes back to being more active.

The few times Kanroji had tried to take him into her hands Tokito had almost immediately burst into tears. His face screwed up and the boy gripped Iguro’s haori like a lifeline. Normally he’d be treating Kanroji like that.

At least in the older slayers arms he wasn’t complaining or squirming around much. Though it didn’t seem like the boy would be falling asleep any time soon either.

“We had peaches! I cut them up really small so Mui-kun doesn’t have trouble eating them.”

“He can eat regular slices just fine.”

“It’s better this way! He’s my baby and I’ll treat him like one.” Kanroji sat beside Iguro and waved a small peach cube in the young boys face. Muichiro huffed and turned back into Obanai’s chest. Immediately Mitsuri wilts.

“Do you think he hates me?” The woman sounds nearly hysterical. Tears build in her eyes.

“He doesn’t.” Iguro almost growls. He refuses to think that anyone could even dislike Mitsuri. “Don’t you want your mama?” This time he directs the words towards Tokito. It’s rare they use such familiar words, ones like mother and father. Obanai hopes it’ll remind the younger slayer who cares for him most.

“Bubber.” The words are utter nonsense but Muichiro speaks the words a few times over while he nuzzles any part of Iguro he can reach.

“What is he saying?” Mitsuri manages to stop her tears for a few minutes. “Do you have a little nickname for Iguro-kun?” She pokes his cheek and at the very least he doesn’t whine at all.

Muichiro takes a deep breath. “Brud-bur.” He focuses very hard when speaker. One of his small hands tugs at Obanai’s hair again. The older man still looks confused.

Kanroji has gone very quiet. She looks sad again but not for herself. Leaning in close to Iguro she speaks very softly, “I think he’s saying brother.”

Suddenly he doesn’t care so much about having to coddle the young boy.

Hi :3 Could I request for baby space Obanai headcanons?

Baby Obanai hcs

- He probably still keeps his bandages on

- But really likes that he can use a pacifier or bottle without having to move his coverings much

- I think part of it is that his mouth coverings also provide some nice sensory feels

- Like without them he feels exposed, not just because of his scars

- Iguro also likes that milk and other baby foods have a very plain taste

- He likes feeding Kaburamaru too if he has to eat

- One bite for Iguro and one bite for his snake!!

- Kaburamaru doesn’t really end up eating anything but pretending is good enough

- Obanai struggles with a lot of his big feelings even as a little

- He thinks he deserves to be treated poorly for his childhood

- Insists he should be punished for really innocent mistakes or just in general

- This makes him a really fussy baby

- It’s easiest to take proper care of him when he’s tired

- Usually if he wakes up still regressed he’s much calmer too

- Obanai is only really fussy when he’s just dropped or if something triggers him

- Speaking of I think he’s a lot more sensitive when little

- Because he’s actually allowed to cry (or Iguro feels that way)

- That’s less him being fussy though

- When I say fussy I mean that he refuses to accept affection

- He is very squirmy, refuses to be held

- At the same time he really wants that care

- Iguro loves soft things

- I think he’s really big on touch in general considering his poor eyesight

- He likes petting Kaburamaru

- (Its a really good way to calm him down)

- He probably has a small blanket somewhere he likes to rub against his cheek or forehead

- Obanai actually finds the corps uniforms really uncomfortable and wants to change as soon as possible

- He likes feeling clean and lets be honest the uniforms are probably crusty as hell

- I hc Obanai as having OCD so that’s definitely leaking into here

- Had little rituals about how he changes that his cgs BETTER learn

- I imagine being regressed does soften his compulsions a lot even if it doesn’t get rid of them completely

- Being regressed can sometimes be scary because it’s nice to let go but at the same time these rituals give him comfort in another way

- Part of this is why he likes it when others do tasks for him

- “Lazy” has bad connotations but Iguro does enjoy just laying there doing nothing

- When he regresses alone Kaburamaru does act like a babysitter of sorts

- The snake is smart and he’s capable enough to grab smaller objects like the blanket I mentioned earlier or a pacifier

- He also fetches a cg if one is available nearby

- Iguro doesn’t like asking for help

- He usually has a complete verbal shut down

- Barely makes any sounds even disregarding actual words

- I think regular Obanai is so-so about animals

- He loves Kaburamaru ofc

- But he can take or leave any other pets

- Little Iguro though?

- He adores all kinds of animals

- Going back to soft things he likes to pet

- And yk how Mitsuri has a cat? He is insane abt that kitty

Cg Giyuu/Little Muichiro

Giyuu was currently looking after Muichiro, who was regressed. Giyuu was making mac 'n cheese for him whilst Muichiro had a tea party with all his stuffies. He had a white rabbit plushie, a grey mouse plushie, and a brown bear plushie.

He poured them all tea, though it was actually water, and he gave them all a biscuit each, which Giyuu had given him for the tea party, and also for whilst Muichiro waited for the mac 'n cheese.

All the stuffies 'thanked' him, and Muichiro giggled, kicking his feet slightly as he started a 'conversation' with the toys, laughing and giggling along with whatever he came up with until Giyuu called him to the dining table as the mac 'n cheese was ready.

Muichiro got up from the play table that he and the stuffies had been sitting at. Excusing himself, he went over to Giyuu, and Giyuu helped him sit at the dining table before sitting himself and beginning to feed Muichiro the mac 'n cheese as Muichiro kicked his feet slightly happily.
