Two of my favorite oddball coyote skulls.
One had a massive overbite which caused one lower canine tooth to protrude up into the incisive foramen when the mouth was closed.
The other one had some crazy bone deformity over the eye socket which created multiple holes that opened right into the sinuses and braincase.

Every Body
your disabled, fat, deformed, intersex, trans, scarred body is worthy. claim it.
your stare attracting, "ugly," "grotesque," "freakish" body has beauty. love it.
your weak, exhausted, painful, uncooperative body is deserving of care. be gentle with it.
the body that doesn't look like you is a vessel for you to experience joy. respect it.
no body needs censorship. every body is equal.

CONDITION #296 - BIPOLAR DISORDER (BP/BD)
(Bipolar disorder is a mental disorder characterized by periods of depression and periods of abnormally elevated mood that each last from days to weeks.)
Inspired by Gary the bus driver's 5 Angers. I know it was just a joke by the animators, but I’ve always been intrigued by how come Gary's emotions are all Angers and nothing else. My guess is that when a person falls into mental illness, some emotions might gain the ability to infect and assimilate the rest. In Gary's case, it would be Anger, which is why he is always so rageful!
But what would happen if there were two infectious emotions at the same time??

The following is the full diagnostic report of Bipolar Disorder, attached with the scan results of neuroimaging to showcase its development in Riley's mind.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
STAGE 1 - INCUBATION
※ Random exchanges in skin colors and facial or body features observed
Manifestation: Joy and Sadness are mutualy infected. They can no longer make Riley feel their respective emotion accurately anymore. For instance, Joy may cause Riley to feel sad or occasionally, even plunge her into profound sadness, and vice versa. Despite it is never possible to do so - physically speaking. And what's worse, just a light touch from them can overwhelm Riley with excessive emotion! Due to this instability, both are heavily restricted from using the console.
Tumblr media
STAGE 2 - OUTBREAK
※ Coincidental contact triggered an assimilation event. The likelihood of its occurrence is notably heightened upon simultaneous engagement with the console
Manifestation: The bodies of Joy and Sadness begin to inadvertently assimilate each other. As both grow increasingly deformed with each passing day, no emotion dares to approach their former colleagues as they all fear it is some sort of unknown infection. Anxiety—Riley’s secondary dominating emotion—secretly begins to take charge in stealth whenever the duo is not present.

STAGE 3 - RAMPAGE
※ Unsuccessful assimilation eventually resulted in a persistent interlocking state, wherein bodily form undergoes cyclic shifts in an unpredictable pattern
Manifestation: The failure has ultimately left Joy and Sadness trapped within their own body. Still, the absorption did not stop there and is what continuously twisting their physical form. Riley’s mood state shifts whenever one of the emotion became dominant by possessing most of their shared body and hindering the suppressed emotion from reaching for the console herself, which is essentially forcing the latter into dormancy. On top of that, the failing to break free from this agony has intensified the aggression among themselves, even to the point where they are starting to believe that eliminating the other half in order to regain control of the console and the body - as well as for the betterment of Riley's mental health - is an inevitable necessity.
Yet as their conflict deepen, so is Riley's internal turmoil…
Summary: Bipolar Disorder is the horrifying result when two infectious emotions (in this case: Joy and Sadness) failed to completely assimilate with one another, causing the host to suffer emotional swings from both ends instead of just one.

i agree that people are overly romantic about diprosopus because of the two headed calf poem! imo the beauty of the poem is how short life can be and how peace can still exist in those fleeting moments. its frustrating to see people interpret it in a way that makes them cling to short lives as if a peaceful death is more tragic than living in delirium and pain for hours if not days. they parade the calf around as a spectacle as much as the farmboys in the poem do
I hate when people use the cats who had the same condition as an example of animals with good quality of life because to be honest I don't think those cats did have a good life or a good death and of course they needed their own social media pages. It's just icky how these animals are treated like a spectacle before they are treated like an animal. If that same calf was born with something like a severe cleft palate or one of the other visible brain deformities FHH can cause it wouldn't get the same amount of attention and would probably get euthanized due to the quality of life implications but two faced animals do not get the same luxury and are usually forced to live despite profound brain deformities. They aren't even technically two headed! It's an individual animal that has one brain and it's actually not as rare as you would think since some cows are more prone to producing it then others it's just these animals are typically born dead. True two headed animals are usually twins that failed to split off correctly.

Literally rolling my eyes so hard at the person you are beefing with. Like seriously I get commented on and stared at a lot. It’s exhausting.
It’s hard to be deformed but even especially so in public school when people treat us like it’s open season on the “scary” disabled people I literally cannot wrap my head around whatever logic that person is trying to peddle. It’s absolute nonsense. Being deformed in public school is like a simulation of hell. I was so glad when schooling years were over

Make more characters with invisible disabilities
Make more characters with invisible disabilities
Make more characters with invisible disabilities
And I don’t just mean mental health / mental disabilities. There are soooo many physical health conditions that are INCREDIBLY common in society but I almost never see depicted in characters!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge advocate for mental health representation as someone who suffers from a lot of mental disorders as well as neurodivergency. And while I love that mental health and neurodivergency has been on full display in media as well as people’s ocs and head canons of characters, I find that when it comes to physical health, it’s often not depicted in characters unless it’s visible usually, aside from characters who are hearing or visually impaired (which is not always visible on the character) which I also see depicted a lot (Which is good!!)
Granted yes I am typing this up while recovering from a blood sugar crash and yes that’s part of what prompted this. But anyways here’s some invisible physical health conditions (some common and some not so common) that I’d personally love to see people depict more. And of course, I can’t list everything, so feel free to reblog to add on your own suggestions!
- Diabetes (Type 1, 2, 3, and the Pre Versions)
- Anemia
- Gastroparesis
- Arthritis (Though Note, depending on the type this can become visible)
- Epilepsy
- Chronic Fatigue
- Hypersomnia
- Insomnia
- Hormone Imbalance
- Asthma
- POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) (This can also be visible in some cases, such as wheelchair usage)
- Nerve damage (Not all nerve damage prevents usage of limbs!)
- Scoliosis or other Spinal deformities
- Autoimmune disorders (PANS / PANDAS, Hashimoto’s, Crohn’s, Celiac, etc, there’s a lot! Do the research! And keep in mind, many Autoimmune disorders CAN become visible)
- Allergies
(Also as someone who suffers from Pre-Type 1, Anemia, Hypersomnia, Hormone imbalances, Spinal and bone deformities, Gastroparesis, and Nerve damage, I’m happy to describe how to write characters who struggle with those things if anyone so desires!)

If anyone wondering what my deformity/deformities are. They are knee valgus, leg length discrepancy, and deviated septum. The first two cause me moderate issues. While the last one causes moderate to severe issues because It makes breathing very difficult.

Its honestly so annoying when like you have balance issues and keep almost falling over , like I walk leaning to the right some because of scoliosis so deformed (I don't really like saying this word but idk how else to describe it so) , and I spend a lot of time either walking too far to one side or not quite knowing how close I am to something until I bump into it unless I really really pay attention to it
