Fic idea: Aang is tasked with finding a missing fire spirit, only to realise that the spirit is needed for an important festival tomorrow

To buy time, someone needs to pretend to be the missing fire spirit. And who else to ask but a descendent of Agni himself? Whether the Fire Royals actually are/aren't direct descendants of Agni is debatable, but they smell different to normal firebenders, enough to briefly pull off the disguise.

Ladies and gentlemen! Let me finally present the completed whumplist for Deadwind a.k.a Karppi the original Finnish title. Really loved this show and it had some good whumpy moments as well. Some websites says a s4 MIGHT be happening but as far as I’ve been able to understand, the chances are very slim. It would totally be possible with that ending, not because it ended with a cliffhanger but actually ended with everything almost wrapped up.

Season 3

During this season Nurmi is very emotional about his tragic past and personal life.

3x01 Shot in the leg, under gunfire, on the ground, needs help walking. Field medicine, on a gurney.

3x02 None.

3x03 Emotional, son taken by drug dealer. Beats up drug dealer. Rips stitches open, bleeding.

3x04 Emotional, loss of ex lover and mother of ‘his’ child.

3x05 Shaky hands, emotional.

3x06 Under gunpoint.

3x07 Gets gassed, passes out, unconscious. Slapped conscious, trapped inside burning basement, inhales smoke, coughing. Hit by explosion, briefly deaf. Admits previous radiation poisoning causes heavy pain in his nerves, takes heroine for the pain.

3x08 Targeted by the killer, apartment blown up. Shot multiple times in vest, on the ground.

I love detective shows and how worried Nurmi was whenever it involved Karppi. Plus Nurmi has some good whump scenes that I’d totally recommend y’all to watch. But season 3 is the last we’ll get:(

I think that part of the reason why President Snow is such a well-written villain is because he genuinely never does lie to Katniss. When he says "let's agree to always tell each other the truth," the first time they meet, it not a line, he actually sticks to that. Like a villain who is both incredibly dangerous and and totally trustworthy? Just, openly trying to kill you and being completely upfront with you about it? That's so fucking fascinating to experience
