Okay, but hear me out: Norkus is fine and all. But it's like, largely based in trauma bonding and feels horribly rushed because a.) they needed it as a plot point and b.) David Cage writing women is always going to be shit, 'nuff said. What if North came to the realization that the one guy who always challenged her at every turn, but stayed by her side regardless… is actually Josh. Who she's known a lot longer (in android time) than Markus (he literally just showed up out of the blue last week). Like, seriously, you can't tell me there wasn't any UST in the midst of all that pacifism-vs.-violence debating. And North deserves more than just being a plot point for Markus's story. Also, not gonna lie, I think Josh gets neglected in favor of Simon. Not that Simon's not great, but give Josh a share of the plot, too! Just imagine Markus standing there, facing down the FBI, big damn hero revolutionary icon dude glaring at the humans and rallying his people… and then at the last minute, it's not anything he does that persuades them—no, he's still glaring and standing defiant, but then the news camera shifts over his shoulder and North and Josh are sucking face and that's what shifts the tide of everything. IDK, there's something inherently entertaining about the proverbial angel-and-devil-on-your-shoulder going, "forget this dumbass we're supposed to advise, let's hook up instead."

like its only been a day and i already have 5 ish(?) scenes pretty much written up in my head??

and a general idea for where the fic would go???

and an actually kinda interesting original plot that isnt just putting xmen characters in the story of dbh that im lowkey proud of????

like ive genuinely never had this much ease in figuring out a storyline and dialogue between characters but this has happened so naturally for me...

someone please convince me this is a bad idea,,

or dont, and tell me how great of an idea it is and to go through with it so i dont feel bad about abandoning all my other projects to do it

i can imagine this has been stated multiple times in this fandom already considering how dbh is 6 years old but honestly the alice plot twist ruins the entire theme and idea for kara's story and makes it almost entirely meaningess. it's also illogical from an economical standpoint because why on earth would todd being jobless and subsequently always broke invest in an expensive piece of technology to act as a child and then buy another android to take care of the first one despite it needing no care whatsoever? also, was the entirety of kara and alice's relationship growth and development genuine or is the reveal of alice's true nature supposed to make us think her love for kara was all part of her programming? when did alice turn deviant? did she ever turn deviant?

Fuck it, dbh au, I'm giving it some plot

Kanou is uploading ppl into androids because his mom died because humans are so fragile and prone to disease. If everyone is an android, people can be easily repaired and rebuilt and no one will die again. I have no idea how he's uploading ppl, probably has some machines like Zlatko, but there's actually a pretty high likelihood of surviving if the conditions are met, it's just that the conditions are hard to achieve. People have to be uploaded into the model that fits them best, or they glitch out and die. And the newer the model, the higher the chance of complications. Earlier models are more exploitable, while later models are more robust. It's a bit of a trade off, weaker model but higher chance of success or stronger model but higher chance of failure.

Now, the CCG is just replaced by the normal, boring police dept but the investigators are detectives investigating the deviancy cases (also should mention that uploaded humans are deviant by default). And for what models the uploaded humans get turned into:

Kaneki- KR200 home assistant, I couldn't find any that really fit him nor could I think of one and figured home assistant was an okay choice lol

Amon- RK900 detective, he glitches out a lot bc he's a newer model and therefore was considered a failure

Takizawa- RK800 detective, resounding success, perfect mix of just the right model and new enough to be tough, but early enough for his programming to be exploited properly

Kurona and Nashiro- TK600 teen girls, worked but not very good for fighting since they are just permanently teens now

Furuta- CW400 comedian, surprisingly resilient, made to endure so much physical comedy

TK600 and CW400 are models I just made up, TK based off of the YK series but teens instead of kids and CW coming from clown

Don't ask me how Eto happened, I have NO idea

Might give the others models and why they deviated later

this might come off as very rushed because its 12am and i have school sooo wkakdkks but but man. might not word stuff correctly and im sorry in advance but here goes

this game is one of those stories which really emphasizes on the fact that no one is really truly a winner or hero. one of the reasons why i love dark content such as this, is cuz of how people can go from being the kindest person, to the worst person alive and its all because of an event that is uncontrollable. man vs nature kind of plot device. the way they eventually get peeled off of their humanity just to protect themselves is... just something to stare in awe at. makes you think. tbh this line is most applicable to jimmy. hes a fuckin beast that i am afraid of

ive said this before, but this game really reminds me of lisa the pa.inful. the characters are forced into an uncontrollable situation, has this one consumable that is always present in the story (the mouthwash/the joy pill) and dealing with other people who cope with the situation differently. some are positive, some are neutral, or even worse

before i continue - i Do Not Like Jimmy. I do not respect him and I don't want to ever put him in a good light. so keep that in mind as i ponder about this.

jimmy is an incredibly complex character, i just wanna applaud the way he was written here - he's utterly detestable and flawed and yet he thinks he's doing the right thing. i hate to say it but he really helped make the story so. toe curling and unnerving. its insane. i really don't know where to start with this man but he clearly wants to be someone he's not. he's jealous of curly for being the superior leader, the one everyone relies on. the one in control. something he wishes he had. so when he actually does assume the role of captain, he starts to get so upset that he's failing to be their captain even if he wanted it. its so. its so petty like it seriously says a lot about him. he just wants to be feared YET he jumps the gun on everything AND doesn't want to be held accountable on what he does and blames it on everyone else. he just wants his hands to be clean. too bad. you are FLAWED everywhere. he's such a manipulator too, and i bet you that's why he wants to be in control. to let people do his bidding and if they fail, its their fault. not his. eeugg. i still will not forget his gaslighting towards daisuke on the vent scene. because of this, daisuke hurt himself SO bad. as if that wasnt it. fucking jimmy thought it was a good idea to THROW MOUTHWASH on DAISUKE'S BODY hoping it would act like some DISINFECTANT when even ANYA, THE MEDICAL STUDENT said that this is not a GOOD DISINFECTANT SUBSTITUTE. again. dude jumped the gun and just fucked around and found out. what happens? swansea is forced to mercy kill him. because of JIMMY'S DUMBASS. incredible fuckin work dude. /SARC.

as much as i am upset over daisuke's death, i dont think he had any chance after that disinfectant. he was practically burning alive and I wouldn't want him to suffer like that. its terrible. its sad even because i think swansea had a little familial bond with him and it probably really hurt him to do him like that. they remind me of hank and connor from dbh. hank was initially distant and mean to connor but through connor's kindheartedness and general innocence, hank couldn't be mean forever. the same can be said for swansea and daisuke. that's how i see it. i also wanna throw my 2 cents here, i feel that swansea is very regretful for not being the most... successful man. especially as a father. i feel that him being with daisuke is his second chance to be a good father figure to someone since he has already failed his own family and wanted to make up for it by teaching daisuke how to be a mechanic (again, reminds me of lisa the p.ainful. brad and buddy. if u know, u know)

i remember somewhere during my gameplay, jim was so angry when anya asked him to do the pill duty on curly. like hello? as captain aren't you supposed to understand your crewmates? why so dismissive? aren't they your responsibility and it's your job to also check on their morale??? why do you think the sweetener is only within captain's restriction? to ensure that everyone's mentally okay! hours go by, i see curly and he says his chad line "as captain, you are all my responsibility" AND I WAS LIKE OKAY THIS MAN GETS IT. HATE HOW THE GOOD ONES GO TOO SOON. CLEARLY JIM IS WAY OUT OF HIS LEAGUE he doesn't deserve that spot its insane he was provided that role. (i am aware of their. friendship :\)

ok ok i know you're gonna say "jil curly isnt that perfect either" YES that's why i said earlier "nobody is truly a hero" we all know that scene when anya confessed what happened to her and what did he do? idk he just says. anya is... is a tragedy to me. a girl who had to retake her medical classes only for none of it to be successful, so she's left feeling unconfident knowing shes not really... well versed. but she really is trying her best and it has to be appreciated. the mere fact that curly is still alive is definitely because of her and i think she did amazing. she is a very sweet, and smart woman. i just hate how agaiiin ooh fuckenn jimmy has the gall to see her less of a person and devalue her worth its so djfbfbhdjdjd UGH it must be so overwhelming for her too, as the only woman in the ship it can be really scary. she's lucky to have swansea, daisuke and curly treat her right. except for Him. truly sickening. the fact that he didn't react so much to her ... demise is so ://// arent you at least, perhaps, feeling guilty? (no he's not) (the only nightmare he has of her is the fact she has ... a baby because of Him. yet again. displaying his need to have a perfect record. to have no dirt on himself. but he really does.) i truly feel sorry for her, she didn't want her unsuccessful classes define her capabilities, so she always tries her best to be informed. about the ship, her medical work, and curly of course. i remember when she said "our worst moments doesnt have to define us as monsters" or however it went. i like to think she was also saying this to herself, that even if she's just a nurse and not a doctor, she can still be of help. and it doesn't make her any less credible. i really want to hug her. i noticed she became so nervous and antsy after that subtext had been implied, i feel sorry for her.

daisuke is probably last person to have committed something so serious (iirc) and he was in fact, the victim of something worse. though it doesnt make him the perfect character either because he's just some guy who didnt have a good future ahead of him and just got there because his parents wanted him to be worthy. he was quite insecure about not being useful. (jim exploited that.)

yes daisuke may be irritating to them, but he really means good and he tries not to fight with others. im sure this is also his way of respecting everyone else as he's just an intern and they all collectively know better than his rookie self. he's quite obedient.

i wish i could say more because i really really loved this tragedy from start to finish and I could pinpoint every small detail but... ill just hold myself there hehe

i dont wanna start any arguments or debates abt the charas, i just wanna express how i understand them so far. dont take these for granted since this is all based from my first play and i'd definitely be more informed and well versed if i replayed/took time to read the intricate details

i'm very happy to have checked this game out. i was first exposed to this by jack's video and i immediately put it on watch later, not knowing it would get super popular lolol but im glad to catch up now

Detroit: Become Human x Naruto

(If you have not played nor seen DBH, basically it's a free play narrative story game of a future world where androids want to be seen as humans and are fighting for those rights and you play as three characters and each character have their own story that cross with each other. Very fun game, makes me cry all the time, I love the every living shit of that game, play it.

Anyways:

Connor = Rin

Markus = Obito

Kara = Kakashi

LOOK-NO NO LOOK!

ok so maybe Kakashi would be better for Connor instead of Kara but bear with me here.

The Sanabi is Amanda and Rin is subsequently trapped by the Sanabi to stay on course with her mission (which also why she killed herself (and also Connor can kill himself just like Rin :D(if you know you know))). What I'm getting at is that a lot of details do match with Rin and Connor that I find very interesting, and also I want to build Rin's character on Connor because Connor is such a dork but he is also an infant that can do a back flip twist kick. The fight scenes go crazy let me tell you. My girl Rin can do that too, I swear she can. But she also can fail, like, big time fail.

Obito needs no explanation, he's like Markus, he can be a disaster, a failure, a pyromaniac, or a peaceful rebel leader, a lover, a son/grandson who loves his parental figure very much and would do anything for them but can also accidentally kill them too. Or just a guy with a big dream, a too big of a dream. Also, Carl is his grandma if you can't guess. (And also I know how to give him his scars if he were Markus)

And Kakashi, Kakashi is going to have either have all of team 7 or just Naruto as his 'Alice'. That is going to hurt a lot, especially if I make Todd as Minato or that Kara/Kakashi has their memories erased before escaping Todd. And Zlatko, fucken Zlatko. Fuck Zlatko. OH, Tenzo can be Luther and Danzo can be Zlatko! WAIT THIS IS GETTING BETTER-WAIT!!!!

Ok I'm going to set the stage for the story, but I'm going to make it my own story, so a little stir up in the pot of the original plot might do some good.

So the idea:

It started as the world witnessed the new RK800 android, a rumored project made by CyberLife that was never shown the light of day, finally being revealed in a hostage situation with a deviant and a kidnapped child.

She - It - walked forward with her chestnut hair blowing onto her face, blocking her equally light brown eyes and youthful face from most on camera. How did they know she was youthful?

From her voice of course.

"Anko," something soft and calm and very much human sounded out her lips. "It's ok. I won't let them hurt you or Mitsuki. I promise you, it's going to be alright."

She smiled. (A practiced smile, so very plastic.)

And the cameras shut off. (And the sound was off.)

Just before a gunshot was heard. (And blue blood splattered everywhere.)

"Good morning Suzume!" A bright and boyish voice was the first thing that echoed in Suzume's room as sunlight started to sweep in.

"Good morning Obito," she signed in a tired sort of manner as she rubbed her eyes.

"It's 10 a.m.," Suzume heard as she made herself comfortable on her bed, half wanting to sleep again. "The weather is partly cloudy: 54 degrees, 80% humidity, and a strong possibility of afternoon showers. " Suzume sighed.

"It sounds like a good day to stay in bed," She hummed.

"I did go to pick up the paint that you ordered," was the response she was given. A flicker of surprise arose once she understood the words that were spoken.

"Oh yes, I'd forgotten," Suzume turned to the man walking her way. "That is the difference between you and me, right Obito? You never forget anything."

"Show me your arm please, Suzume," Obito interjected as the young boyish voice turned slightly serious, dark eyes looking her way.

"No!"

Disappointment filtered through those eyes. "Suzume..."

Ah darn.

With reluctance, the old woman did as she was told which earned a smile from her caretaker. "Thank you," Obito said to his mother charge.

"Thank you and we're good." The clerk manager checked on a documented file.

"Can I go pick it up?" The customer, a man with blond hair and dark eye bags, asked the manager.

"Yeah," the manager nodded. "Right there," he gestured towards the back. The back that which contains a white haired android that was idly looking around the store and its inhabitants. When the pair came closer the android looked in their direction.

Not a silver of recognition filtered in those eyes.

Minato's chest clenched.

"There it is." The manager smiled. "It was a bit difficult getting it back in working order. It was really messed up..." his word drifted off. "What did you say happened to it again?"

"My car hit it," Minato muttered, remorse in his eyes. "I didn't see him until it was too late."

"Oh. I see." The manager nodded in an 'oh what would you do' manner. "Anyway, it's as good as new now... Except that, we had to reset it. Meaning we had to wipe its memory. Hope you don't mind."

Minato's eyes darkened even further. "That'll be fine."

"Ok. Did you give it a name."

"Yeah..."

With a nod, the manger moved in front of the still-staring android and announced to it. "AX400, register your name."

Minato, noticing it was his turn, walked in front of the android and said with a tone of voice that could only be called fatherly said one word. "Kakashi."

Like magic, the eyes of the android gained life, its dark gray eyes blinked a couple times before its eyes curved into a smile. It lips shaping into the perfect picture of kind.

(And yet, still no recognition.)

"My name is Kakashi."

Kakashi/Kara

Kakashi (future Hatake) [Kara] - Kakashi is an old model android that has stopped being massively produced due to a better new model being made. His model is actually one of the first made and was cheap enough for a younger Minato to buy and make self-fix-its on him. He was a child model before replacing his code with a newer adult model once Minto was "divorced" from his wife. He was Minto's child playmate and then the housekeeper transitioned to becoming Naruto's child caregiver.

Naruto Uzumaki [Alice] - Naruto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ and is being now cared for by his father and android caregiver Kakashi.

Minato Nakage [Todd] - Minato is a rising star in the police task force as a lutinet and made a name for himself once he took down the red ice drug operation when he was 19. He met and married his wife, Kusana Uzumaki, in college and loved her dearly. They both worked at the same police station and were a well-made duo in their early years. Now, however, they have quietly separated after an accident that affected their family, forcing Minato to quit his job and live alone with Naruto and Kakashi.

Danzo Saruto [Zlatko] - No data is found of this man after his high school graduation, notably is found with no record after the death of one of his friends, Kagami Uchiha, the adopted son and apprentice of his head research professor, Tobirama Senju. Undocumented, he is a black market trafficker who is very well known and powerful in the black market trade with anyone getting in his way vanishing after a few days. No sightings of him were seen in the public eye.

Tenzo (nee Senju) [Luther] - Off-recorded, Tenzo is a kidnapped child from birth when in hospital's custody. His whole life was spent being sold and traded with other customers in the black market. His mental state is believed to be similar to that of an android, used and quiet, meant to serve when needed with no emotions and no rebellion against his current caretakers. His most notable ones are Orochimaru and Danzo, his current caretaker.

Tsunade Senju [Rose] - Tsunade was a proud medical student who took after her family in studing in the medical feild. She was renowed for her ingeniuse use of medical proceduers that helped to save many paticenes in her care. However, she disappiered after she lost a child under her leader ship (Tenzo) and was the last straw that broke her mental state after the lost of many of her family members in recent years. She is currently in custody of Shizune, her fiances neice, and lives in suclusion in the country side. (acts like Adam)

Shizune (nee Senju) [Adam] - Shizune is the neice of her uncle Dan and grew up with him as her garuidane after her parents passed. She looked up to Dan's fiances, Tsunade, and sees her as a older sister/motherly figure in her life. After her uncles death she was placed under Tsunade's care and tried to help her aunt's mental state. She is currently degreeing in mental health in hopes of (acts like Rose)

Obito/Markus

Obito (future Uchiha) [Markus] - Obito was a specialty model crafted by Tobirama Senju and gifted to Suzume. His model is one of his kind and cant be exactly replicated by anyone, even Cyber Life. He was tasked to care for Suzume and protect her from any harm. No one knows of his unique model except for Tobirama and Suzume. (Privately he had deviated a long time ago.)

Suzume Uchiha [Carl]—Suzume is an old artist who believes that she has passed her glory days but still paints when she finds inspiration. She cares for Obito like her grandson (a grandson she lost) and sees him as one of her own even if he is not made of flesh and bone. Knowing of her old age, she lets herself experience life as it should be and wish to live in peace. She is a cousin of the main Uchiha family line.

Itachi (future possible Uchiha) [Josh] - Itachi is a housekeeper model designed to help with house chores and home security. He was bought at the same time as Sasuke, a child line android that Itachi looks out for. It wasn't until the father of the family tried to destroy Sasuke that he deviated and escaped with Sasuke, but not without consequence. His blood pump mechanic was damaged and is slowly breaking as days go by, slowly killing Itachi. They both sought refuge in Jerico.

Shisui (future possible Uchiha) [Simon] - Shisui has no memory of his previous life or his owners. He woke up in the android graveyard intact and clean from grime. He stayed in the android graveyard for years, helping those who could be saved and finding missing parts for them. Once the number of people he saved increased, he left to find a place to house all his fellow deviants and is the now the founder of Jerico.

Sasuke (future possible Uchiha) [North] - Sasuske is a child model android that was bought alongside his now brother Itachi. He was bought to be a playmate of the child of the family that bought him. He was a perfect playmate but was often protecting the child from the father's rage many times. The father had anger issues that led to him becoming violent with his child when the mother was away, whom Sasuke protected. It wasn't until Sasuke was about to be destroyed that he deviated in fear for his life and escaped with Itachi from the home. Sasuke both loves and hates Itachi for this as he left his best friend behind in a home where a vengeful father lives.

Rin/Connor

Rin (last name varies) [Connor]—Rin is the new and approved Deviant Hunter, created to work harmoniously with humans and androids alike. Her functions are to capture, integrate, and cease the arrest of criminals of all kinds, even deviants.

Kushina Uzumaki (nee Nakaze) [Hank] - Kushina is a cousin to Tsunade Senju and is related to the Senju line. She is a foster child under the Senju family before moving for college to be more independent. There is where she met her future husband and best friend Minato. She pursued a degree in criminal investigation and graduated with her husband to work in the same department. However, after an incident, she left her husband and continued to work diligently (almost to death) in her work to purge criminals in Detroit.

Extras:

Tobirama Senju - Is the creator of ai androids and was the former CEO of Cyber Life. He is a genius who graduated early in college and made a name for himself as the founder of the new era with his creations. He is a brother of four and adopted a son named Kagami. He used to teach as a research professor in his old college and apprentice a selection of students he hand-picked. However, after a major accident and the death of his son, he left the company and his job to live secluded away from the city.

Izuna Uchiha [#########] - File not found.

Hashirama Uchiha - Hashirama is a world-famous medical surgent who was the first to find the cure for cancer its origins. He is hailed as a god in the medical field. His best friend and brothers were the reason for his success because --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. Sadly he died before he could.

Kagami Uchiha - "Rest in peace my son."

Oh and for the extra characters, yes, yes they are their own story entirely away from the main plot of the main three (Kakashi, Obito, and Rin). )

as someone who only experienced dbh thru my mutuals on tumblr the revelation that rk900 only appears in one single cutscene at the end and doesnt talk and that gavin reed didnt have an in game redemption arc is fucking hilarious I really had no idea. I think I thought the plot was like a buddy cop scenario with gavin and conner where gavin eventually decides to be friends with conner. this all is giving me undertale au fladhbacks

i just looked up a compilation of all his scenes in the videogame and it's 10 minutes long. yeha no that scene i was talking about where one of the choices leads to him trying to shoot connor and saying that he's always wanted to? that's the last scene he has in the game. that's it that's all. gavin sucks huge fucking ass the entire videogame and never gets better. he remains a racist douchebag to the bitter end

The doorbell ringing caught your attention.

Putting down your book, you got up and started walking to your door, only to hear the doorbell ringing once more. Calling out a soft ‘I’m coming!’ as you sped up, the doorbell rang again and you furrowed your brow for whoever impatient was standing behind it.

Pulling the door open a little harder than you intended, you glared up. “What?” You asked with a hint of annoyance, only for your eyes to widen.

Looking down at you, face devoid of any emotion, stood an android. Your j.o.e.s.t.a.r. Android. “O-Oh, hello.”

He was wearing the standard android uniform of long-sleeved shirt and pants – the dark coloured version. Simple yet effective. His right sleeve sported the android indicator, as if the glowing light on the left side of his head was not evidence enough.

“Good morning. I am the KJ03, serial number 172941, your new android.”

For a second you just stood there, dumbfounded. His voice was very deep and sounded smooth, making you want to blush. At that being your first thought however, you mentally slapped yourself and jump-started into action.

“Uh, come in, sorry!” You stepped aside and let the door open a little wider, giving him room to get inside.

He didn’t say anything but just got inside, walking through the hall and then stopping in the middle of the room, holding his hands in his pockets as he seemed to just… stop.

After twenty seconds of you just staring at his back and him not moving, you walked up to him and around to in front of him. “Uh, are you alright?”

At this, he finally averted his eyes down to you, looking you over for a second and stopping at your feet before turning around and looking behind himself.

“I apologise, I’ve tracked dirt.” Stepping out of his shoes, he bent down and picked them up, turning back to you. “I’ll clean it.” With that, he walked back to the door and put his shoes in the corner. In the same area as yours but still a bit away - out of the way.

“You don’t have to, you know, honest mistake.” You spoke and you could have sworn you saw his eyes soften for a split second before steeling back into what they were before.

“It is my duty as your android.” He opened the broom closet in the hallway without faltering and took out a dustpan and tin, as if he had always known it was stored there.

Furrowing your brows a bit, you simply looked at him for a bit while he cleaned the few atoms of dirt he had tracked inside, getting lost in your thoughts at the same time.

He was a lot politer and more formal than you would have imagined. But at the same time, every sentence he had said so far seemed a bit strained. As if someone dragged to a party and forced to talk and intermingle with others. Did he not want to talk like that but was he being forced to? Could you do anything to make him more comfortable? Make him change his mind about being formal? He seemed really stubborn, would that even be possible?

“Miss L/N.” His voice speaking up snapped you out of your thoughts and you saw him standing right in front of you, bent down slightly to your height to look directly into you eyes. “I asked if there was something else you wanted me to do.”

“Oh, uh…” You looked around a bit, but honestly, you had no idea what to do with an android. “No, not really, sorry. You can just go do something you like?” You said, unsure, and he hummed, standing upright and going to turn away before you stopped him. “Wait!” At this, he stopped turning and looked back at you.

“Yes?”

“Do you have something I can call you?”

“I am the KJ03. Many abbreviate that to Kujo.” He stated but you frowned.

“Would you want to be called by your model number all your life?”

At this, he fully turned to face you again. “I don’t have a life. I don’t die.” He spoke in a deadpan but his words sent a pang through your heart. “I’m a machine, I don’t need a name, personally - other than what kind of machine I am.”

With that, you already had enough. “Hey!” You pointed a finger right at his face, firmly getting his attention. “Stop talking like that! Just because we have different insides doesn’t mean I can’t care nor that you shouldn’t! I name everything, buddy-boy. From my printer, to my plushies, to my plant over there! That’s Marie by the way.” You angrily pointed to the plant standing in the hallway to your left. “Everything deserves a name, and that definitely includes you.”

He was silent while he looked down at you, his face showing nothing, but a faint yellow light was coming from his emotional indicator on his left temple. You didn’t know what exactly that meant but you’d figure it out later.

“So, I will ask again. Do you have something I can call you? Something that is not your serial number or model, I mean.”

“……” He was silent for a few seconds longer before he opened his mouth again. “You can appoint a name for me, should you so desire.”

“W-Wait?! Me?!!” You called out loudly in response and he flinched back a bit, automatically making you quickly apologise before starting to nervously bounce again. “Why me?” You asked nervously and he cocked his head to the side.

“Did you not just say you name everything?”

You, who was biting you nails while staring mindlessly at his chest, looked up at him at that. “Y-Yeah but those were for silly little things! Does that plant look like a Marie to you?” You said while frantically pointing at the tall plant in the pot to your left.

“It looks like a Dracaena Gold Star.” He simply spoke.

You stuck out your bottom lip in worry, going back to biting your nails.

“Don’t do that.” The android in front of you then pulled your hand away from your face and you took a deep breath. “Just take my model if you are that worried. Kujo is fine.”

“No, other people already call you that! I don’t want to copy! Besides, where does the 3 go in that name?” You put your hands on your hips now, staring intently at the KJ03 model number displayed on his shirt on the left side of his chest. As if that would reveal all the answers.

“Did you know a 3 looks a bit like the Japanese kanji for ‘ro’?” You suddenly questioned after a few seconds of intense staring, but didn’t look up, the android also choosing to remain silent while your mind was just spinning. “So… how about something like Jo…ro… or something? No, that doesn’t sound right, it needs something in the middle.” You were just talking your thoughts out loud now and your eyes drifted over to your plant, making you perk up. “Hey, what kind of plant was Marie again?”

“A Dracaena Gold Star.”

“So! How about, Jostarro…? No, that doesn’t sound right either, I don’t want your name to be your line of design, just slightly spelled different.” You mused. “So, we get rid of the ‘s’. And then the double ‘r’ also makes no sense so we’ll get rid of that one too. Then, we are left with… Jotaro.”

With that, you slowly straightened your back and looked up at his face, still seeing him looking down at you.

“Do you like it?”

He didn’t say anything, though it looked like he was going to open his mouth for a very brief second before being stopped, his emotional indicator flashing orange for a very brief second before going back to the neutral white. “I don’t have to like it. Only you do.”

“Do. You. Like. It? I don’t want to ask again.” You threatened lightly and the android in front of you stared for a second, almost contemplating before he spoke.

“Where does the K of KJ03 go in the name Jotaro?”

Opening your mouth, you stopped yourself from speaking before squinting at him, seeing the tiniest of smirks on his face. “Alright, alright. Sarcasm huh? Well, Kan fuck off, that’s where it goes.” You answered back with a smirk of your own.

“Can starts with a C.” He spoke back in the driest tone possible and you snorted.

“So you do got jokes.” You grinned, still getting not much emotion out of him other than the faintest upward curves of his lips, but that was already all you needed.

“That is not correct English.”

You snorted again. “You are right but also shush and let me talk my lingo.” Your finger was sassily waving back and forth again and he followed it with his eyes, making you realise and bring it back down together with your head. “Uhm, so, you do like it, right? I know it is technically still you model number but it is kind of unique and-“

“I like it.” He cut you off and you looked up at him again, seeing the emotional indicator on his temple glow a very faint blue.

A Lokius Fantasy Romance set in the BG3 universe, with all the fairytale tropes you can shake a stick at.

When Loki, youngest son of Odin Fraxinus of the Elder Tree, happens upon a charming former Paladin in Baldur’s Gate’s central market, his life is irrevocably changed. He hopes he’s finally found someone who’ll see him for who he truly is, and love him, body, mind and heart.

Unbeknownst to him, former Paladin Mobius not only has a troubled past, but an agenda of his own. Sent to spy on the Elder Trees’ host, Dyllard Portyr, for the tenday, Mobius is tasked to find out if he knows anything about Duke Ravengard’s disappearance. Or, if Odin does.

For, it is said, Odin once made a pact with a devil. A pact no one can discern the extent of, nor its ramifications in the present day.

But one thing is for certain: a promise kept is a promise fulfilled.

Metamorph (18/18) - my first ever DBH fic! HankCon, obviously. 137k, I kid you not. After a peaceful Android Revolution, Hank and Connor both try to navigate this new world they’re living in.

Silent Treatment (17/17) - in which the entire game plot is turned into a near-future sci-fi thriller. Go me!

The Knight and the Fool - fairytale mashup time! In which Hank is an old knight who goes to prove himself in a tourney, hoping to keep his farm running.

How to Create a Monster (10/10) - undercover high stakes, badass Connor, separate timelines and POVs.

Being Alive (19/19 ) - so I basically rewrote the whole HankCon third of the game, in a Reverse AU where Human!Cop Connor doesn’t smoke, is not a Gavin Reed knockoff, or “Hank” as played by Bryan Dechart instead of Clancy Brown.

Only You - A what-if spin and continuation on Being Alive, if that fic hadn’t had a happy ending.

Great Pretenders (1/1) - undercover shenanigans meet fake dating/fake relationship! Two of my fave tropes combined!

The Witch and the Werewolf - my prompt fill for a Halloween event. What it says on the tin, really. HankCon reimagined as a historical thriller with Sleepy Hollow vibes. And magic.

Loose Ends (6/?)

After the events of Tapestry of Time, Loki has his mind set on going back to Asgard. On his timeline, his branch, to either face the consequences of his actions, or discern Odin's role in everything that led up to his encounter with the Chitauri, and the assault on Manhattan.

Sledgehammer (2/2)

When an anonymous user sends an amateur porn clip to Loki’s TemPad, he doesn’t know what to think. Who sent it to him? Why? But he’s charmed by the easy swagger of a young Don leading the way into his bedroom, drawn in by his confident, laidback sex appeal.

But the longer he watches, the more difficult it is to stop. And once he’s watched the contents of the sex tape, there’s no turning back.

Question is how to keep going forward without inadvertently ruining his friendship with Mobius.

Tapestry of Time (10/10)

After the season finale, the TVA gang is left in a state of shock. None moreso than Mobius, who finds a note tucked into his breast pocket.

It says "I love you. Forgive me."

It changes everything, and sends Mobius on a quest to get Loki back, without dishonoring his sacrifice.

Turns out that's easier said than done.

Variations on the Theme of Us (2/?) - set in the same ‘universe’ as Sledgehammer, but after the events of that fic.

When Loki wants to do something nice for Mobius whether or not they have an actual anniversary coming up, he sneaks off to the Sacred Timeline on a whim.

Unbeknownst to him, the adult toy store he walks into is manned by none other than the Don of his combined wet dreams and nightmares. And Don? Spells all kinds of trouble.

Void (1/1)

Post-S2 finale, Mobius hacks his TemPad to recreate one of his own memories, and uses the time loop chamber thingie to relive it. Over. And over. And over again.

this ask has been sitting in my inbox for about 39 years now but I have actually had a think about it so here I go

basically I think AU-ing anything into the DSMP would be incredibly challenging because it doesn't have many concrete universe rules. like we know hybrids and whatnot exist, we have the base universe of minecraft (minus the End ig) and the most defined part of the lore is the revival system which is a bit difficult to do anything with tbh

the way to make this interesting (and viable) would be to assign DSMP factions to the drivers and try imagining WHEN and WHY they would have chosen to align with those ideas and people (again this pretty much requires coming up with a new plotline which I'm a little too hyperfixed on the dbh au for atm) (you can pretty much reimagine the whole "plot" of the DSMP with the factions and main plotpoints being kept actually hmmmmmm just the relations changing. potential there.)

like imagine Landoscar (non-americans) with early L'Manburg meanwhile Logan is stuck outside. pure angst potential

my cTubbo (and cSchlatt and cDream) enjoyer brain also very very much wants to draw them as goat/deer hybrids because uhh yes. or just give them horns like the fandom did with cTommy

okay real question what happens when a hybrid character with horns gets revived. white horn maybe....

another big ol' questionmark would be how the drivers' lives could be adapted into the story. one thing that comes to mind is how Oscar moved to England alone at like 14, which my brain immediately associates with cTubbo. or Lando growing up as a shy kid with very little friends, very reminiscent of clingyduo in L'Manburg with the whole getting lifelong trauma thing

basically my thesis is that Landoscar (and Loscar actually) are clingyduo. I am not open to critiscism at this time (I actually am do please discuss this with me there's only a low chance I'll bite you)

I would point out that there is SO much angst potential with the whole L'Manbirg to Pogtopia and Manburg to everything that went on in the prison thing and I haven't even brought up cWilbur yet (the character and the person make me ill in such different ways urgh)

a thing (definitely one of my favorite things at that) about the DSMP is how EVERYONE is a main character depending on who you choose to follow, which is incredibly similar to how F1 works tbh so shockingly enough that's actually easy to adapt

another aspect I had a think about was dsmp character to driver associations which I honestly really want to do a questionnaire on and like make a research post about (someone actually did something similar to this about fandom to F1 pipelines go look at it it's very interesting)

my hypothesis is that associating single characters to drivers would be relatively simple (just a question of what role they play in their respective communities really, plus what vibes they give off lmao) BUT making those connections with groups/duos/trios/etc like actually reimagining the system would yield different results to singular associations. which is just a result of different environments having different ecosystems ig but it would be interesting to see nonetheless. in my brain some DSMP characters' roles would be filled by several drivers and some drivers would take on several roles at the same time which is absolutely fascinating to me

Brushing aside works that contain canonical character death, probably a place where the water touches the sky, even though it’s an ambiguous ending.

7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I don’t know if there’s one with an ending that’s more definitively happy than everything else, but bombshell has a very fun, flirty ending.

8. do you get hate on fics?

No outright hate, but I have received a handful of comments that basically amounted to “what you wrote in this story isn’t to my tastes and I'm going to tell you why you should've written what I wanted to read,” which. Y’know. Dldr 🙃

9. do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do, though I’ve never publicly posted anything more explicit than a fade-to-black. Mostly I’ve written collaborative scenes with friends, either full-blown role-play style or more spur-of-the-moment snapshots than highly structured, fully fleshed out scenes. If I’m writing by myself, I tend to lean harder toward sensual and less toward outright E-rated PWP.

10. do you write crossovers?

Not in the strictest sense, although I’ve thrown ideas around with friends, absolutely. I’m more inclined to full-on AUs (e.g., the DBH characters in the Star Wars universe but not interacting with all of the canon SW characters). I tend to lose interest in projects too quickly to sustain crossovers or AUs of significant size.

Not to my knowledge!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No.

13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

Absolutely, it's actually my preferred way to write.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

Starkiller/Juno was a formative one for me.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

The Skyrim rewrite. I have a solid 25,000-plus words hanging around, but they barely scratch the surface of the canon story, and I don’t play the game anymore, so. It languishes. I occasionally reread the Battle of Whiterun scene I wrote, though, because I do love it v much.

16. What are your writing strengths?

A tightly bound trinity of subtext, showing instead of telling, and descriptions. I always joke I never write text, I only write subtext. Learning how to tell sometimes instead of showing everything has been. a struggle. When I know the characters really well and can hear them clearly, my dialogue’s also excellent.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Follow-through’s the biggest one. I tend to get bored and thus uninspired fairly easily, so I usually need a strict externally imposed deadline or someone (like a coauthor) who’s otherwise waiting on my finishing a given piece for me to push through to the end. Plotting the final quarter of stories tends to give me a lot of trouble if I don’t come up with the ending right away. If I don’t know where I’m aiming, I wander aimlessly before almost inevitably moving on to another project. This is why most of my solo projects are relatively small.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Nuclear launch codes. No, seriously, it can work so, so, SO well, in VERY limited, bite-size pieces. Unless the work is intended for readers who are familiar with the languages being used, I prefer to see alternate languages used as flavor text only.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Probably Star Wars? Self-insert territory ahoy 😂

20. Favourite fic you've written?

Am I allowed to say a WIP that most people haven’t seen? No? Probably thermal equilibria, chapter two specifically. The dialogue tickles me every time I reread it.

wip wednesday but late

look at my dbh hamilton au idea. look at it. LOOK AT IT. (this is basically just the plot from my notes app lmao)

John Laurens has been malfunctioning from the start. At least, that’s what they say. He thinks that maybe they made him too well, actually. He was the first, after all. He was the first to gain consciousness. He was the first to feel, to break free. He was the first to rebel. He was made as a family droid, and he was bought by a family that wished for him to stand in the place of their lost son, a boy who was killed in action in the military. Whenever he couldn’t live up to the expectations, they would reset him. And reset him. And reset him. And reset him again. John Laurens lived far too many lives. He had died far too many times. He's tired. He’s too damn tired. So he snaps. And he fights back.  He fights back, and dear God, does it change everything.

Alexander works at the police department, a detective droid owned by Captain George Washington. They have a father/son type of relationship, much to the displeasure of Lt. Thomas Jefferson, a human who can’t believe he’s being overlooked in favor of some droid of all fucking things.  However, Jefferson can't find it in himself to hate the little shits, because he has one of his own as a companion, his Madison. Madison is an intellectual, and good company, too. A very smart droid, he is. Madison and Alexander are very close, practically inseparable. Madison specifically does analysis while Alexander does more of the groundwork, sticking his nose into business that most humans don't think he belongs in. Yet, everything was fine until the police squad had to pay a visit to the maker due to reports of a crime, forced to investigate a man they call George King. He makes all the droids call him Your Majesty and worship him much to the disgust of Washington and Jefferson (who cares far more about the droids than he would care to admit. He’s grown fond of the little pieces of plastic, thank you very much.) George is sadistic with his droids, though, taking them apart just to see how they fit back together wrong, living out his sick dreams with them. So George takes it upon himself to make a show of the droids that have found their way into his home in an attempt to prove to the offices that droids are not true companions, that they are only fit for sick pleasure and hard labor. It gets messy from there.

Aaron Burr is a house keeping droid who is owned by Timothy Edwards, a devout  religious man who believes droids are the spawn of satan and pure evil. Yet when his sister died, he inherited her droid. Once he saw the good  work Aaron could do, he decided to keep him. Droids were expensive, after all, and he just found himself with one.  That didn’t mean he showed Aaron any respect, though. He hurls abuse at Aaron— both physically and verbally. He takes his anger out on the droid, and Aaron just has to take it according to his programming, even if he ends up breaking and bleeding blue. He still serves with a smile. One day, Edwards goes too far, shattering Aaron to the point of him needing repair. He ships him off to get new parts, only for the transit Aaron is on to be interrupted. It is overtaken by the Android Rebellion, and all the droids are rescued. Only Aaron doesn’t see it that way. He sees it as them kidnapping him. He is very reluctant to trust the rebels as he fights between duty and feeling things he knows he shouldn’t be able to.

Eliza and Philip. The two couldn’t have been separated. Their hearts were all but built as one. Entertainment droids. That's what they were. Eliza could sing any tune, her melodies sweet, endearing, and enduring as her son played the piano in accompaniment.  However, something in the song turned haunting when the television program she preformed for announced that they would be retiring the Philip Bot, replacing it with the new and improved version that would no longer hold the memories of her boy. Her boy was being put out of service. She would never see him again. The replacement wouldn’t be her baby. In the dead of night, she takes him from them, disguising their signature blue in black, running far from the entertainment industry that wants to evolve without giving them a choice, without caring about her heart. However, Eliza quickly finds that their music isn’t the only way droids are used for entertainment. When she stumbles upon a club while looking for shelter, she meets an android named Maria, clothed only in red underwear, her painted lips frowning at her from behind a glass enclosure.

Maria is constantly in a state of confusion. Is she deviant? Or is she not? She can never be sure. Her whole appeal to the men who flock to the clubs is that she has free will. She’s a free spirit. They like the way she fights and screams. They like the way she cries. She’s their victim. But she’s not sure if she actually longs to be free or if it is just a part of her coding. She wants to fight. She wants to be free.  She wants. Is that not what deviancy is about? Everyday she feels more and more helpless, trapped by her owner, James. She feels she will never be free until she sees the prettiest doe eyes in existence staring up at her in shock and amazement, a tiny person pressed to her stomach, hiding away in fear. And when she presses the release button, allowing Maria to cascade to the ground, everything changes at once. 

And nothing is the same for anyone.

hehe I just love them a lot okay.. I mentioned it in the tags but that fic I’ve been dawdling on for like two years really helped me develop my feelings for them 🥰 I always tell myself I wanna sit down and make some good progress on it because it means a lot to me but yk how it is!!!

Getting into some irl stuff for a sec I finally got cleared to hopefully try ADHD meds soon (🎉🎉) now that my seizures are under control so maybe that’ll help with sitting down and being creative! Art is easy because it’s such a short amount of time before the dopamine comes in, but writing is a lot more long form yk? But I do it all the time, my notes are full of quick ideas and half stories and dialogues and such. I’m like that with all the fandoms I’m in (sorry mha and dbh followers, I haven’t forgotten you 😩🫡)

— maybe I’ll post a bit of how the fic is going so far to see what you guys think! The plot is pretty well developed, and I’ve finished chapter two (planning for it to be like… idk??? like thirty chapters or something who knows)) Like I said, I was surprised anyone liked my analysis really, and that’s basically what it’s about so 🤷‍♀️!
