Welcome to the Starlight Toy Galore! How can I help you?
Apparently, 1 toy wasn't enough to in the analysis machine. Dick and Damian were compromised by the toys and refused to part with them.
Babs decided to go this time, but this wasn't the first time she came into the place for investigating, actually..
This was the 36th time she visited, not because a ridiculous tall, very obvious dork of a owner kindly remade his front more wheelchair accessible to enter and couldn't take a goddamned compliment to save his life.
This was her case dammit, and Batman wasn't going to ruin all her processes steps of plans she had already set back, steps now by visiting.
It seem this week was appreciated space theme background that was completely accurate with various sizes planets above attic seemingly look to be floating until one tiny pluto float downward only for a little 7 year old girl with pigtails to wind it up with a blue winding key and watch it float back up with the others.
Danny always went all out in the starlight Toy galore before what caught her eyes was a little boy that had a butterfly hairpin with a broken dolly, a bag of doll pieces that was the missing cracked head and missing arm piece walking up to a station where the Owner Danny Nightingale was await.
"Can you fix mah ma's Sally? Felix got mad at her for not giving him lunchie when he went out with the guys.. and.. and I got all the pieces..! I trade you mah hairpin for you to fix her!" the little boy said softly with quivering confident, raising the hairpin that he was wearing up with his hand.
The Danny looked down on the little boy and bent over slowly, his form still gigantic even crouched down as he nodded, whispering softly to the boy as he ruffled his little hair, carefully picking the broken dolly that seem way too small in those long thin hands.
Carefully placing dolly and the broken pieces out of the bag carefully, The Danny went to the cabinet above the station and pulled out a jar. She could see his body shake as though he knew she was watching. Now, if Babs could almost see what that jar said, she coul-
The hard tug onto her shirt cause her to turn to see a 6 year old little girl in black braids with rose designed beads, bright blue eyes, and a soft grin with a front gap toothy. She had a tagged name, and I'm Ellen Nightingale.
Ellen mischievous little girl who like to play pranks at the beginning but became sweet on her 3 months ago.
She was holding out a strawberry taffy out in her small hand, colorful sensory rings on three fingers and a ducky doodle in yellow and green marker on the back of her hand.
"Oh.. thank you." Babs said softly, holding out her hand to receive the taffy. Ellen smiles with wider, and her eyes gleamed brighter at Babs as she giggles, rushing off to where Babs was previously watching the Dann-..
Ack. She got distracted!
The little boy was walking away, smiling brightly with the fixed dolly now wearing his butterfly hairpin as Danny waved at him.
Ellen tugs onto his apron and points at Babs, whispering something lightly to him as he picks up something from his stationary. Babs felt nervous for some reason, considering he was a ridiculous tall man. Hell, he can give the killer croc a run for his money in size if he were broader instead of slim figured.
And here they come, alright. Babs smiles softly as they both come over. Before Babs knew it, a bouquet of lilacs and purple roses was nearly shoved in her face.
A heavily bright red-faced danny with his hands shakenly holding the bouquet as he tonguedtied on his own words.
"You did the order wrong, Papa!! It was ask, then give the flowers!! All that hard work pwactices over this last night, gone, You big oversized Dumdum!!" Ellen shrieked, pounding her tiny fists on his legs.
Danny wilted like a deflated tube man as if Ellen's tiny blows could hurt him, but Babs couldn't speak as she was laughing too hard into the bouquet she held over her face to hide how red her face was.

Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 49
If you recall from a previous part, it is a class 2 intervention for a Time Lord to set themselves up as a god, and the punishment for this is vaporization. (Audio: False Gods) On an unrelated note, the Doctor is referred to ans treated as a god by many races and species in many different stories.
The Fifth Doctor has given Turlough and likely his other companions long, extended lectures on cricket. (Audio: Phantasmagoria)
The Master was connected to everything and nothing while stuck inside the Eye of Harmony. (Audio: Planet of Dust)
Sarah Jane was aware of the Master before they met in the Death Zone. (Novel: Managra) This suggests that maybe she heard of him through journalism or through UNIT, or maybe, of course, the Doctor spoke about the Master often enough that she became somewhat familiar with who he is.
The Twelfth Doctor once performed surgery on Danny Pink when he had been caught in a blast on an alien world. It was very important to both of them that Clara never found out about it. (Audio: War Wounds)
Time Lords have an instinctive fear of the Ravenous, like how sheep tend to be afraid of wolves and how deer freeze in headlights. (Audio: Deeptime Frontier)
By one account, Sarah Jane thought of the Third Doctor as a father figure but the Fourth Doctor as a mad uncle. (Novel: Managra)
The Master keeps a well stocked liquor cabinet. (Novel: Deadly Reunion)
Under the influence of cyberparticles, K-9 would say "no" instead of "negative." (Audio: The Fate of Krelos)
The Fourth Doctor recalled beating Ernest Hemingway at tiddlywinks, and apparently, Hemingway never forgave him for it. (Audio: Death Match)
The First Doctor and Susan were being pursued by the Chancellery Guard when they stole the TARDIS and ran away from Gallifrey. (Audio: The Beginning)
The Fifth Doctor once used his cricket bat to deflect a sword blow, but his cricket bat was damaged by the impact. This saddened the Doctor. (Comic: The Tides of Time)
The Guardians of Time number six in total and is called the Six-Fold God. All the aspects of the universe are split amongst the six of them. Included in the Six-Fold God are the White Guardian of Light in Time, the Black Guardian of Darkness and Chaos, and the Crystal Guardian of Dream and Fantasy (also known as the Toymaker). (Novel: Divided Loyalties)
The Fifth Doctor and Turlough once showed up to stop an evil from committing murder, only to find multiple versions of the TARDIS nearby and that the previous victims, burnt beyond recognition, all had two hearts. The Doctor realized that he was caught in a paradox and that the previous victims were his future selves who had also shown up to stop the murders. (Audio: Repeat Offender)
According to some, the Doctor was the best agent the Celestial Intervention Agency ever had. (Audio: Intervention Earth)

I'm trying to understand the love for Clara Oswald, so I am rewatching her episodes... :) I'm not a hater, after all lol...
I also just want to re-hash my memory on The Great Intelligence, because I HAD this nagging theory about Ruby Sunday and her "snow" ability, which is connected to my theory that Ruby is a human embodiment of the TARDIS, which is also connected to my theory about why the "old Gods" of Classic Who are coming back in relation to The Flesh + Nestene Consciousness, which circles back to my theory on the return of the Toymaker's connection to the Timeless Child Arc (aka origin of the Doctor).
ANYWAY... back to Clara :)
I think the set-up between Clara and Eleven was well-written actually!!! I always did prefer her "incarnation" as Oswin Oswald over her "21st century existence". I even hoped she would ORIGINALLY be a scientist from the far future, and THAT was one of the reasons why I was initially disappointed regarding her character-trajectory.
I can understand "The Hybrid" concept from an interpersonal viewpoint. I can appreciate it as a metaphor for a toxic, co-dependent relationship only IF the audience is willing to shed light on the Doctor's history with his OTHER human companions.
And yes, it is inevitable that the Doctor as a "whole entity" (not necessarily just Twelve) would give back Clara Oswald the Gift of Eternal Life, as she did end up DEAD because of her carelessness and over-confidence due to Twelve enabling her when he tried to bring back Danny from "hell" per Clara's request.
These are a bunch of domino effects that resulted from Clara jumping into his time stream... Perhaps, Twelve's "duty of care" stemmed from the fact that he wouldn't exist without Clara. Literally. She saved him across all his timelines from the Great Intelligence (dun dun dun)-- he'll be back, mark my words. Perhaps, that was a metaphor for co-dependence. I mean, duh, it is!
She saves him from "dying", and he in return stops her from "growing" as a person.
I would have probably been satisfied with Clara if her story had ended when she jumped into the Doctor's time-stream, but alas- we wouldn't have Missy if that was the case. AND WE ALL LOVE MISSY <3
Might I also remark that it is *GOOD* writing that they also included "Me"/Ashildr (code: warrior) in The Hybrid plot, because the Doctor made this Viking girl immortal and "less human", and in a parallel circumstance he did the same for Clara... He quite literally stopped Clara's death, the same way Clara stopped HIS many deaths.
So yeah, ok, Clara didn't deserve her own TARDIS (imo). But seeing as she's "stuck" with Me (who I personally interpret as Clara's very own "dark" Doctor replacement; hence the poetic name "Me"), I think having her own TARDIS is more of a KARMA-- like, a traumatic time-machine that takes you anywhere BUT home?
In hindsight, I was bitter about the fact that Clara Oswald got her own TARDIS because it renders all the other human companions "unimportant"? Now that I'm older, I'm realizing that Clara "mirroring" the Doctor from a perspective of a broken heart (per se) can definitely be narrated from a perspective of:
"WOW THEY REALLY WERE TOXIC FOR EACH OTHER BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANTED TO AVOID THE INEVITABILITY OF DEATH."
If I decode The Hybrid in terms of human relationship, I would say that they stopped each other from GROWING. Because "death" = rebirth. And without death, life becomes stagnant.
#doctor who#drwho#twelfth doctor#Clara oswald#the great intelligence#dw#the hybrid#I'm emotional because I miss my mom and i'm scared I'm going to lose my dad soon#anywaaaay I understand you Clara#I understand how toxic you are Clara (I see her as my ex-bf who refuses to “die”/grow up) and I see myself as Twelve who enabled her

Sonic World project plan: Amy Rose (volume 1)

The following post is about my idea for a series focusing on Amy Rose. It is subject to being scrapped or cancelled. The series might not even get made.
Synopsis
Set sometime after the events of "Sonic the Hedgehog" volume one, "Amy Rose" follows the titular character on a rescue mission into the Pinball Carnival Zone to save hostages of a robotic showman called Comitron. She'll have to fight through games and performers to get to the Big Top and rescue the scared people.
Characters
Amy Rose - A hero and leader of the Restoration. She is known to have devastating attacks with her mallet. She is the main target of Comitron, who wants her for his show. All she cares about is freeing the people and animals held hostage at the Pinball Carnival.
Topaz the Jackal - A no-nonsense anthropomorphic jackal operative of the Restoration. She follows Amy into the Pinball Carnival Zone. Her weapon is a stun blaster. She is based on Topaz from the series Sonic X.
Molly the Falcon - A pilot who flies a rescue craft for the Restoration. She is usually teamed up with Search. She is inspired by Molly from the series Sonic X.
Felicia the Calico - An assistant to Amy Rose and her biggest fan. She is incredibly helpful.
Search the Goodnik - A reprogrammed Badnik that Tails gave to the Restoration for rescue missions. It is teamed up with Molly. It is a character created by @SasSharo on Twitter.
Comitron - The main antagonist of the story. He is a unique Badnik released into the world by Doctor Starline and Howler. He loves to entertain, but hypnotizes his victims for his acts. His love of games and performance led him to transform a carnival into the large Pinball Carnival Zone. He targets Amy Rose to be in his shows. He is inspired by The Joker (DC Comics), Ringmaster (Marvel), The Toymaker (Doctor Who), Freakshow (Danny Phantom), Zombozo (Ben 10) and Caine (The Amazing Digital Circus).
Other Information
Comitron is my favorite OC that I've created for Sonic.
This story was inspired by the Amazing Digital Circus with elements from the episode "Last Laugh" from the original Ben 10 series and the episode "Something Zombozo This Way Comes" from Ben 10: Omniverse.

Olay additional questions now. Random orders.
1). How will Missy feel about Alex? What about other incarnations of The Master (John Simm in World Enough and Time and Sacha Dhawan in Spyfall)
2). How does The Toymaker feel about Alex?
3). What is in Alex's room in The God Complex?
4). How will Alex feel about Division, The Timeless Child and Tecteun?
5). How does Alex feel about 15 and having a more openly queer Doctor?
6). What happens in The Wedding of River Song now?
7). When will Alex meet Jenny? And when will Jenny meet Jack?
8). Will The Doctor and Alex go to Sarah Jane's funeral now that 15 has confirmed she has died?
9). Is Alex's Time Lord ancestor Romana? Or The Corsair?
10). Why does Alex not like Danny Pink?
And finally
11). Can we write snippets and short stories based in The Alex Locke universe, weaving in our OC Sky and the brother you created Johnny, and post them here if we give credit?
Great questions!
I don't want to say too much about Missy's feelings towards Alex out of fear of spoilers, but I will say Missy does care about Alex and doesn't want to see her harmed. Same goes for Sacha Dhawan's Master and, to a lesser degree, John Simm's Master.
To the Toymaker, Alex is a delightfully useful toy in his game against the Doctor. The Toymaker never would have guessed that the Doctor he first encountered would fall madly, passionately in love, so Alex is a new puzzle he tries to use to his advantage. And he does. We will see that in Alex's version of 'The Giggle'.
Not a swimming pool, I will say that much. Or anything related to her fear of water. Hopefully, the fear that is in Alex's room will make sense when we get to it.
Alex will hate the Division, Tecteun, all of it. They just might topple Kovarian and the Silence from their top spot on the list of things/people Alex hates the most.
Alex is more than okay with a Doctor who is more open about his sexuality, because she knows that while the Doctor might acknowledge certain people as attractive, she is the one he finds the most attractive, sexy, beautiful. . . Really, the list goes on, and 15 could easily go off on a monologue on his amazing wife (and probably does, much to Ruby's amusement).
Hehe, so much. I will say lots of characters (some canon, some OCs) will pop up and we'll get a lot of answers regarding Kovarian and the Silence's plans towards the Doctor, Alex, and River. You'll just have to wait and see!
Alex will meet Jenny sometime during the first half of Series 7. What I currently intend on doing is adapting one of the audio stories featuring Jenny ('Prisoner of the Ood') and having it take place in Bristol, while Alex is visiting Marigold and Lacey. Jenny will meet Jack also during the first half of Series 7, but she doesn't start a relationship with him right away as she's traveling with her dad and Alex on the TARDIS (plus, the moment the Doctor sees the obvious attraction between the two, he's anxious to keep the TARDIS from landing anywhere near 21st century Cardiff).
They will go to her funeral, yes. I'm thinking of having it turn into a wild Arrow-verse like event, where some big alien invasion happens while everyone's gathered at the funeral and the grieved mourners defiantly defending the Earth just as Sarah Jane would have done, but we'll have to see. Either way, it will be pretty rough for the Doctor and Alex. When exactly it will take place, I'm not sure, but I'm leaning towards during 13's era.
Oh, wow, that would be awesome if Alex's Time Lord ancestor was Romana! A bit full-circle, lol, since I've got my version of Eleven admitting he was attracted to Romana. It would also make sense, with Alex and Romana both being clever. Also would be interesting if her ancestor was the Corsair, but we'll have to wait and see who, exactly, it is (if it is one of those two!).
Alex mainly doesn't like Danny because of his immediately hostile attitude towards the Doctor. She also doesn't like how Clara feels tempted to lie to Danny all the time, something she points out to Clara constantly ("Wouldn't you rather be with someone you feel like you can trust?"). Aside from that, she has no particular dislike of Danny; she just feels he and Clara aren't compatible (and she's right).
Absolutely you can! Just give credit and tag me in the posts!
Thank you again for the questions! Keep them coming!

The poor Roselands got elected as the white trash Depression Riverblossom family.
Cyd, uneducated despite his Knowledge aspiration because life be like that, moved in aiming to make his living farming, fishing, breeding dogs, and starting a toy store, which he can do as soon as he has a gold badge and the capital to buy a lot.
Well, making toys costs money. Danny and Sarah did their best to help him with the dog breeding but he never had time to befriend a mate for Porthos (buy a dog? Are you crazy?). Farming is not very lucrative when you've got to eat part of your harvest and the growing season is so short, Riverblossom Hills being Winter/Spring/Fall/Winter and greenhouses not being cheap. Biology beats brains and he and his wife LaShawn don't have the education for effective birth control, but dating is such a sure way to cheer themselves up...
Rather than add risky woohoo when I'm only going to want it for some neighborhoods, I have a 20-sided die and sliding odds on whether or not to try for baby. If a parent has a baby want, I just try. If at least half a couple is educated and they have access and privacy to use mechanical devices like rubbers and diaphragms, they try for baby on a roll of 20. The odds might change for married couples with no reason to be reluctant to have a baby, such as poverty or a baby fear or a wife with career ambitions that strike me as feasible. Lack of education, access, or privacy lower the required number 5% each, with access and privacy varying with circumstances. Peter Ottomas fully intends to be faithful to his wife and doesn't carry a rubber around; if he strays in a photo booth with another Romance playable I took out looking for a new lover, she almost certainly left the house with a diaphragm already inserted or in her purse, but if circumstances overcame an uneducated Popularity sim and Peter, she'd have to count days in her head while distracted and a roll of five or better would be a try for baby.
It's a long way to town, you have to ask the teen cashier for the little boxes behind the counter and you know she's gossiping, Cyd and LaShawn have a few misconceptions about how things work (look, even Simone de Beauvoir thought douches were effective, okay?), and they've got three kids. Gordon is a big help with the farm, the fishing, and the dogs these days. Isabel is old enough to help her mother now. Little Petunia will get there. And everybody's going to be too tired for woohoo, because in addition to farming, fishing, school, housework, dogs, and toymaking they need more room in the house and will have to build in spring and fall.
Things got less crowded after Danny and Sarah died on the same day, leaving Porthos and the last of the puppies, Boots. It's been awhile since Cyd fooled with teaching Porthos tricks, but the loss of the big dogs and the lack of cash to make toys with has him doing it again. He's made friends with David Ottomas, who's hired him to tend bar at the Roadhouse to make ends meet.
Any homework that gets buried in the yard will stay buried till thaw, though. Gordon and Isabel have Responsibilities.

🎫 could be anyone, I just wanna know them facts :))
Alrighty! Since you got a KRAN Oc and I got one, I’m gonna go with Danny. And because I hardly talk about him, I’m gonna give two facts for the price of one!
(KRAN frametype and lore by @cuppajj)
Fact number one!
Danny loved working with the humans who found him, but there were five who he especially loved to work with. His memories of them might be a little scrambled, but just like he was named by the oldest miner, he named his five friends.
The funny one who loved to get into trouble was named Plate Breaker, because he once broke a bunch of plates as a brank.
The scared one who often sat on Danny’s shoulder or hid behind his peds was named Shadow Welder.
The only female of the group was named Smoke Break, because he often hung out with Danny when she was taking her smoke break. She was also someone who often worked with him on his confidence.
The loud one who always sung or danced was named Rhythm Wave. This guy could always, somehow, find rhythm in even the most obscure thing, and Danny loved that.
And the last one was named Driller, because he oversaw the drills and didn’t like the other names Danny tried to give him.
Of course, all five of them had their own names, but they also saw how happy it made Danny to give them names. So, they just shrugged and accepted them. All six of them were a team, a family. None of them went far without the others knowing where they were going, and they often took Danny (in his holo-form) out to the nearest town to, at least, give him the chance to see more than just the mines.
So, it broke his spark when they suddenly didn’t come to work anymore. No-one came to work, and Danny spend a long time waiting for his friends and family to come back. But when it was clear that they wouldn’t return, he left too. With the only memory of his time in the human mines being the pictures his friends took with him.
Fact number 2!
There is a reason why Danny calls Apprentice “Teacup” from time to time.
It started after Danny joined Apprentice and Toymaker on their travels. While they were busy doing their crafts or didn’t need Danny’s help, the KRAN often got bored and started to mess around with things. Stacking some of the boxes for fun, reading, or just laying around and waiting for something to do.
It was one of those days when he didn’t know what to do, when Apprentice brought back a weird thing that was, apparently, a human teacup. Danny found the thing interesting and, with them having enough material, started to try and replicate the small teacup.
And after a while, he finally managed to make his own cybertronian sized teacup. Which was promptly destroyed by Apprentice in an accident, but hey. Danny wasn’t mad about it and just went back to making a second one. Finishing it with Apprentice’s help and giving it to the flier with a big grin. “A teacup for a Teacup.”
The second teacup was also the last one Danny ever did, because getting the materials was too much of a bother. Now he’s simply helping Apprentice out whenever it comes to finding materials or other stuff.
Bonus!

Welcome to the Starlight Toy Galore! Temporary close for the day!
Danny could only blush heavily in his ghost form. His brightened green eyes watched Jazz pick out an outfit for his date. Ellen looked at the deep blue colored scarf before throwing it to the aside to the pile of rejected other colored scarfs.
"Now you have the braille menu that Tucker sent you of the restaurant, right? Remember to take your black bandana if your eyes get irritated again. Sam, you missed a chibi toy on the right side of his hair." Jazz spoke as she was judging two different colored turtleneck with narrowed eyes.
To Danny's eyes, the bright colors felt normal in his ghost form compared to the black abyss in his human form beside the luminous foggy shapes of ghosts, spirits, souls, demons and faes in his sights.
He can still remember the horrifying shock in mom's and dad's eyes was the last thing he ever saw as the pure excruciating pain sizzle in his eyes as they were showing the Fenton Ghost On Sight double Blaster that will reveal any ghosts hiding invisible to the human eyes and unfortunately locked onto him once again and blasted directly into his eyes.
Waking up in a hospital bed only to see nothing at all was pure panicked, being touched by something or someone hugging him was worse, especially when he couldn't see a god damn thing, only to see ember's head appears was when he realized something immediately.
He couldn't see anything at all except Ghosts. It didn't stop there as he saw a dashing tiny being with wings stealing a cube of sugar, a red parasite bug whispering to some junkie that he pummeled into paste the wall, and a wild spirit messing around from the very black shape form of a person that he couldn't see before sneaking back in their form.
Jazz told him about her telling Mom and Dad the truth about him while he was in a privates hospital room thanks to Sam, Dad actually broken down and Mom couldn't stop staring down at her hands as she had been the one to do the example on the double blaster.
Two month of him still unconscious after that event, and thanks to Frostbite being brought to heal him, Along side teaching mom and dad his needs as it seem he can see in his ghost form, but not in his alive human form.
He couldn't see the damage of his eyes in his ghost form. Only his eyes were much green with much paler pupil, but apparently, what Tucker descriptive of his eyes were his pupil went brighter then a rainbow pearl that cause his iris to go from deep blue to a much paler icy blue.
The struggle was intensely real after he left the hospital, especially now handicapped and kept bumping into everything and every wall, Cujo thankfully helping him along with his new blind cane. Kitty and Johnny 13 actually helped him out, considering Kitty had a cousin who was born blind.
He couldn't be the astronaut that he wanted to be, especially when now he was blind. He was so down in his own depression state upon realizing that It took Jazz, Sam, Tucker, Ellen, and shocking, Dash dragged him, caving himself into his room after 5 months in. His hair was the length of his waist after that, but he didn't cut it since he didn't trust his dad or Jazz to cut his hair again.
They brought him to a great museum with an audio speakers for blind people like him, wandering the halls with glimpses of soul spirits embezzling in their masterpiece, even some in old toys on display, and accidentally finding himself into a kid's crafts their art room upon hearing the sounds of a crying child.
He couldn't see what they were crying, but he could see the well loved toy that was a Raggedy Andy doll so bright with a joyous old soul spirit of a elderly lady with plush separated arm on the floor.
Danny helped clumsily tie the doll's arm back in place with the help of that soul spirit whispering in his ear about which thread is tied where and tighten up.
He wouldn't know it but feeling the warmth glowing off a child's inner joyful spirit playfully peaking out the shell that was a human.
Danny felt a new dream born before his sightless eyes. He ended up fixing beloved toys here and there in Amity Park, then word got out after he made a beautiful music box that has a dancing ballerina in her box for a sweet grandma who was a retired Principal Dancer due to her torn achilles tendon after Danny saw how down her spirit mumbling how she wished to dance in the opera once last time.
A fix here, donated parts, threads, fabrics, buttons, cotton full of lonely spirits there, rebuild a lost dream of spirits all around all for 1 tiny trade each. He didn't know that the people he helped have been collectively anonymous a goFundme in Amity parks for him after he spoke about wanting to make a space theme toy shop and repair.
Danny would be 26 year old before he decided to invest in a building after going through a gigantic tsunami of customer wanting him to fix their old toys, plushy or antiques.
Danny had to change his last name due to the fact that nobody wouldn't let him rent a building nearly as far as new Jersey, much less a shop after hearing his last name being Fenton. Getting a cozy shop in a gotham full of saturated Ectoplasm was a wise choice.
It would be 3 months later meeting a lady with a soul spirit more wild peaking out of her body in a wheelchair who made his heart skip several slow beats after doing that Ashidon motion against the parenting section bookshelf even though her real body is still at the public library's counter.
7 months in of being befriended and compliments Babs Gordon, while her dominating spirit is nearly crossing the line. obviously flirting to him alongside whispering about how she loves to pull his silky hair again to hear him make that cute whine. If only people and ghosts could see the patient and restrain he had on himself, he would've probably already passed out again from the blood rushing to his head that day.
He learned many things about Babs, even though her wild spirit is dancing, showing off martial art techniques seductively, and talking the many many ways she can take him out that made Danny feel his heart about to stop.
Ellen, his sweet clone daughter, apparently was the first to say something about his most obvious crush on Babs and helped him practice, even though he failed miserable at the result. He got a date tonight.
Hopefully, everything goes well..

Adding some more Little Guys (gender neutral). I was gonna just update this post but turns out I had two too many Little Guys so here's the new ones. Most of these were multi-session.
Top row, 2nd batch:
Abby, Liminal Horror; Subject Aflame cashier.
Abby, my beloved! Our Liminal Horror game is on indefinite hiatus (as is our Shadowrun game) [edit: BACK ON, and the Liminal Horror oneshot is FINISHED as of 7/15/2024, we survived!] but I've enjoyed playing Abby as the mall she works at is overtaken by otherworldly monsters. IIRC she's like... 17? and others would describe her as "artsy" but her primary talent is drawing one anime eye really well. She isn't very good at handling scary things, but she is pretty good at figuring shit out, so she thankfully was spared the horrifying thing that the rest of the team saw last session, which I will not go into because it actually was pretty awful. [edit ii: I have updated her row to include a pic of her filthy and emerging from the belly of the beast (fortunately not literally) having helped her allies destroy the horror that was overtaking the mall.
2nd row:
Veronica (???), FASA Doctor Who Roleplaying Game; scientist from near-future Earth.
I'm not a hundred percent sure I got any of her right -- this was a character the GMs at Chicago TARDIS provided for their double-GM extravaganza. I am pretty sure I got her color scheme right, though, because I remember the GMs saying some of the character sheets they were passing out were based on their Power Rangers campaign and I was like "okay she must've been a purple ranger because everything she's wearing is purple." Anyway, I really enjoyed this game but I'm really glad the other half of the team were the ones playing the Jenga minigame because we got to do the blindfolded maze part instead and that seemed way less precarious. The villains were two incarnations of the Celestial Toymaker and they kept turning our equipment into toy versions, hence the balloon crossbow. 3rd row:
Eberswind, Pathfinder 2E; dwarf ranger (and Hubert).
So the Pathfinder campaign I'm in now is set during a magically prolonged eclipse and the sun has been gone for like. five months. Needless to say, it is very cold. Eberswind, my character, is really fun to play because she's just extremely practical and cynical and SO ANGRY. Prior to being an adventurer she used to run a restaurant which had been in her family for generations, and is an excellent cook, but unfortunately food is hard to come by these days so she brushed up on the hunting skills she acquired in her youth, and also the occasional breaking-and-entering skills she acquired before her family sent her to the countryside to learn to hunt and to keep her out of trouble.
The owl's name is Hubert. He is bigger than that in the game, but Heroforge only has one size of owl. I think Eberswind rescued Hubert from some extremely dumb situation he got himself into and then he refused to leave when he had recovered because why would you leave someone who feeds you and lets you stay inside with them??? So, here he is.
4th row:
Danny Kilpatrick, FASA Doctor Who Roleplaying Game; former mob accountant from Chicago, 1926.
There were a handful of oneshots offered at Chicago TARDIS and for most of them you could play a character you came up with. They cautioned us against playing a character from an alien planet or a historical era because while obviously that's very cool if we were just sitting down to create a character it might be really hard to come up with something if we didn't know a ton about the world/era they were from. And I was like "Well. I know a guy. Also I can do his accent, which is more than I can say for every other character I've ever roleplayed." Had a lot of fun with this one -- Danny got to reunite someone with her lost sister and turn off a big evil machine everyone was trapped in! Also, the guy I sat next to had never played before and I was happily able to help him, having gotten through the double-GM game the night before, and then I found out he'd never played a TTRPG at all, so that was really cool and I hope he had fun.
5th row:
Kikka, Shadow of the Demon Lord; Changeling academic-turned-Priest of the Old Faith.
Shadow of the Demon Lord is the edgiest thing in existence and it's so fucking dumb in some ways, but I enjoyed this character. Partly, so, it's one of those games where you roll randomly for a bunch of stuff most games would let you choose, and the funniest thing happened which is that I decided to play a Changeling and then all her appearance attributes came up as 100% normal and unremarkable, so I decided she had spent her life blending in and being Very Normal and Totally Human, and she was the only normal-looking person in the party. Anyway, you don't get to pick a character class until you've survived the first session, so I decided to just go wildly in the opposite direction from that and make her basically a werewolf druid, because when you have survived a zombie attack you should get to do whatever the fuck you want and not worry so much about conformity.
6th row:
Vitus, Fabula Ultima; Entropist/Tinkerer.
So ages ago back when I was writing Harry Potter fic set in the early middle ages, I came up with this cranky vampire character who I wanted Godric to interact with; his deal was that he had been a Muggle and a Roman military engineer and the stupid vampire council (there is always a vampire council, you gotta have a vampire council) had sent him as a neutral observer to watch a magical war Godric found himself imprisoned by one side of, and he thought the whole stupid vampire council was stupid as fuck and shouldn't be in charge of anything, and he missed being able to eat things with garlic and he missed indoor plumbing, and he decided he liked Godric's eminently sensible attitude of "I don't want to be here, I don't even understand what everybody's fighting over, I just want to be at home marking papers," and he helped Godric escape. Anyway, then I decided maybe I shouldn't write him into a Harry Potter fic because I had enough show-stealing OCs in that fic. But I kept him in my back pocket for later. So, later, my one-shot group ended up playing Fabula Ultima, a JRPG-inspired TTRPG, and I decided to bring this concept out.
Anyway, instead of being a vampire, he's immortal through other means -- being an Entropist allows him to take life force from enemies, and I decided he had been in some kind of entropic accident that left him Like This, but he's very annoyed about the whole thing. All these magitech lying in ruins just shows how important stress testing and quality control are, because this shit is legitimately hazardous centuries later, and these modern people don't even know how to make ROADS, ugh. Anyway, he lost all his HP in battle but you can't actually die in Fabula Ultima unless you choose to sacrifice yourself to do a ton of damage in battle, but he already did a ton of damage and I liked him as a grumpy immortal so he just kind of got the shit kicked out of him, which seemed much funnier.
7th row:
Chris Kolettis, Vampire: the Masquerade 5E; Ventrue, 57th ward alderman.
First of all, there is no 57th ward. I'm basing it on the 46th ward, where I live, but I didn't want to deal with real specific locations since our GM doesn't live here and shouldn't have to feel like he's got to describe real locations. Second of all, I swear to fuck I didn't pick the setting, we ended up with a game set in '90s Chicago completely without my influence. Anyway, we just had our first session of this game and we decided that Chris is actually the (non-vampire, actual real human) uncle of one of the other vampires, and because Chris is big on family, even though his nephew is an angry rebellious caitiff (an unaligned, clanless vampire) he has tried to be very supportive and helpful and is annoyingly protective. This may become awkward if Chris finds out his nephew is drinking the blood of other vampires, but that's a problem for future Chris.
Ventrue as elite, politically-minded vampires have specific feeding restrictions and I decided it would be funniest if Chris could only feed on his constituents, so he doesn't eat anyone who is not an adult of voting age, who doesn't live in his ward, or who, to his knowledge, is registered to vote as a Republican. (This says absolutely nothing about his political beliefs; the point is he belongs to the political machine at least as much as he belongs to Clan Ventrue.)
I'll probably make a more interesting second pose/screenshot for him once I've played him again, but since I know there'll be a second session he's got two screenshots. (Also, hey, he's wearing Chicago colors!) TBH I probably should have made the second pose either him being knocked out or him losing at a video game or him doing a I AM SO PROUD OF YOU pose with his nephew but I don't think there are modern chairs in Heroforge for him to sit in to lose at a video game and I didn't wanna make a whole other figure, and him being knocked out was very funny in-game but I didn't want to imply he died. So he's getting mad at someone over the phone in the '90s.
8th row:
Hideko (whose surname I've forgotten argh), Yokai Hunters Society; a playful and unforgiving artisan who wears an Otafuku mask.
In Yokai Hunters Society you play a masked vigilante monster hunter in Meiji-era Japan. I decided I wanted to play an artisan and then decided she was a netsuke carver and then I was going to figure out some kind of yokai-related backstory that had a complex sociological tie-in for why she was in this organization, but then I came across the category of yokai that is tsukumogami -- objects that have been neglected or treated badly -- and I decided her family had been terrorized by the ghost of an old futon and she wanted revenge because that was both much funnier and much more relatable. I too have kept futons for too long, but fortunately they didn't keep me up by having loud parties, just by being horrible for my back.
Anyway, here she is crawling through a narrow passageway brandishing our disgraced samurai's Very Good Lantern (it was like a +3 to rolls iirc) and a very average knife we found in the kitchen of the haunted house.
Made little Hero Forge guys out of every single character I've ever played at least one session of in a TTRPG. (The ones with closeups I've played for more than one session.) Details under the cut.
Top Row:
Literally Just Terezi Pyrope, Pathfinder; half-orc Investigator Made for a Pathfinder oneshot wherein my friend was playing a Vriska-inspired character. I feel the need to disclaim that we did not kill or maim anyone out-of-game. I don't even remember if we killed anyone in-game because I remember it being pretty puzzle/trap-focused?
????; Ryuutama; Crafter/Autumn Sorceress I'm kicking myself that I don't remember her name. She was a seamstress, and in the specific world we were playing in we were the descendants of space colonists, so I decided her ancestors would be from a culture with really pretty fabric patterns.
Ylva Truehand, D&D 5E; half-orc monk. A herbo if ever there was one. Accidentally became the figurehead of a coup d'etat at home and had to Leave Right Now Immediately. We only got to the part where we all met at an inn before outside circumstances meant the campaign fell apart.
2nd Row:
Katja, 3.5E D&D; human cleric prestige class (maybe a Radiant Servant of Pelor?) My very first TTRPG character! I played her in a high school friend's historical-fantasy-inspired homebrew setting campaign he ran one summer in college. She was meant to be an army doctor for Fantasy Imperial Russia and we were doing an escort mission across a desert that was, iirc, disputed territory between three superpowers? Mostly I remember killing a lot of ninjas and then stumbling across a magical oasis where the water was magically pacifying, finding the mineral that was responsible for this effect, grinding a bunch of it into powder, and then making our GM's life a living hell by slipping it into NPCs' drinks whenever we wanted something from them.
3rd Row:
Safira, Stewpot; Paladin/Artisan. This one's pretty obviously an expy of my angel OC Vehuel. Stewpot is a game about retiring from adventuring so the character concept for her was "Holy warrior chosen by prophecy to kill a great evil with a magic sword; accidentally fell in love with the great evil. Eventually killed it anyway. Deeply traumatized."
Yarrow Tunneler, Mausritter; Acorn sign wireworker. Yarrow came out so cute here! A lot of stuff in Mausritter is randomly assigned and I think her class was one of those things, but I liked the wireworker thing (basically she's a mouse electrician) and one of her starting bits of equipment was a spool of wire. There weren't any good wire spools on Hero Forge, but I managed to make a battery-looking thing for her to carry around on her back.
Esca Glowfin, Ocean Tides; mermaid. Yeah so the game wanted me to choose whether she was going to be a mermaid or pirate but I wanted to be both so I made it work. The actual character concept I had in my head does not look much like this but turns out one of Hero Forge's weaknesses is deep sea benthic horrors with needle teeth. So I just made her hot. Sorry, Esca, you probably deserved better.
4rd Row:
Minu Darzi, Shadowrun 5E/Definitely Not Shadowrun At All; elf face. This one's an expy of my demon OC Nisroc, but like, a very very tiny sliver of Nisroc's whole schtick. I tend to describe her as "what if Grendel's mother was a shitty grifter who wanted to be an influencer?" but she shoots a lot of people so I feel like her sphere of influence is powerful but limited to like. Influencing people to die.
5th Row:
Royse, 5E D&D; Aasimar rogue. Another Vehuel expy, this one much younger and less traumatized. Royse was made for a West Marches group I didn't really vibe with. The one session I played was great but the out-of-game downtime stuff felt like a part-time accounting job and I don't have any interest in accounting. Anyway Royse was fun and she was gonna be a Swashbuckler.
Pandora (& Scylax), Worlds Without Number; mage (Necromancer/Beastmaster). For the oneshot group I'm part of we've started doing a test combat session at the end of Session Zero to make sure our characters aren't going to die immediately, and after that our GM decided we should be using the Heroic rules. In the combat trial, Pandora used her one (1) spell slot to mind-control one of the wolves that were attacking us and it killed a bunch of the rest of them, so given the opportunity to add another 1/2 mage specialization I picked Beastmaster and gave her a wolf. I really liked some of the lore for this game but oof, it's super unforgiving. (I think it might be a good starting point if you wanted to play a Locked Tomb campaign, though?)
Zamira the Magnificent, Blades in the Dark; slide. This character was a disgraced stage magician who accidentally killed her assistant (maybe sawed them in half?) and I liked the concept but our Blades in the Dark party really didn't end up doing much RP, even though we are a very RP-heavy group; I kind of wish the game had facilitated it more.
6th Row:
????; Tempus Diducit; Weird Scientist. Tempus Diducit is a no-prep chaotic game about a time travel crisis where a lot of things are randomized; mostly I remember there being superintelligent octopi and making strong acids, and also me having a lot of very annoying ideas involving my specialized knowledge of both cephalopods and chemistry.
????; Subway Runners. I remember very little about my Subway Runners character but basically this is a no-prep game where your character sheet is entirely randomized and every character is probably at least a little Done With This Shit because every Subway Runners PC is a gig economy worker whose shitty gig job is fixing an urban fantasy public transit system full of extremely weird shit. I think by the end of the session all our characters had cat ears.
Miriam; You Awaken in a Strange Place; marine biologist. Once more my specialized cephalopod knowledge comes back to bite me in the ass! (Also, this is the second Miriam on the list; 'Zamira the Magnificent' was a stage name.) YAiaSP is another no-prep chaotic game; you also get to make up all the skills your characters have, and Miriam was good at Identifying Marine Animals but bad at Working Under Pressure, which was great because they were in a locked submarine murder mystery and identifying marine animals was basically of no use whatsoever. I think in the end she failed a Using Scientific Equipment roll and then bluffed that she had actually gotten the DNA results to get the murderer to confess. This is unethical if you're in law enforcement; if you're a professional marine animal identifier it's still unethical but I think it's also kind of impressive. Only I forget if it actually worked, so maybe it wasn't.
7th Row:
Heshky, Pathfinder 2E; half-orc investigator. I have literally only ever played half-orc investigators in Pathfinder, which is very funny to me. [Edit: This is no longer true! I have a dwarf ranger now.] Heshky here is not much like the Terezi expy, though. He is an expy, but of one of my OCs rather than someone else's and his backstory is that he's a former mob accountant whose boss died in circumstances that were technically not his fault, so he had to leave town for a while. I would absolutely love to play him somewhere else; he was made for my one-shot group but we ended up stretching that Pathfinder one-shot out to like 5? 6? sessions and I got very attached. (If I played him again I miiight not start him out as an investigator though, because he almost died like 3 times.)
8th Row:
Zirane, I'm Sorry, Did You Say Street Magic, baker. ISDYSSM is a cooperative worldbuilding game so I kind of forgot there was a character I played in it, but apparently I did! This guy lives in a fantasy city and works at a cafe owned by some mystery person (possibly a vampire?) but he's not worried about that. He is good at baking, but likes experimenting with weird combinations of flavors, which sometimes means his extremely well-made baked goods taste regrettable.
Kjersti, Session Zero; war-witch deserter. Session Zero is a character creation/development game without character classes; it can actually be played solo as a writing exercise too! So I just kind of went wild here. I really like the concept I ended up with and keep meaning to post what I wrote up for her; over the course of the game she went from annoyed arcane college student to spoiled rich girl to army deserter trying to survive a magical war crimes-induced apocalypse and daydreaming about overthrowing her own government in no time at all.
Edie, Genesys; dwarf mad alchemist. The setting we decided on for the Genesys one-shot was cyberpunk fantasy, a bit like Shadowrun but if magic had always been in the world, so I decided to pull out one of my old, old LJRP characters (Ed Espis) and repurpose her. Edie grew up a third- or fourth-generation corporate citizen and very privileged, but when her parents died under mysterious circumstances and she was fired shortly thereafter, the company decided she had to pay off all the resources they had invested in her entire family so now she's broke and has to do crimes (petty) instead of crimes (war) to live. She ended this session by shooting a guy in the head but listen, he extremely deserved it.

The Chocolatier’s Rose {Willy Wonka x OC} Epilogue
GIF not mine. Credit goes to owner.
Summary: It’s ten years later, and the Wonka twins do something special for their father’s birthday.
A/N: Here’s the official end to the series. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for The Chocolate Prince and The Lovely Maiden.
Tagging: @willymywonkers @holdmeicant @sleepiesapphicxoxo @frozenhuntress67
Ten years later...
Rose Wonka stood in the kitchen, scrubbing the dishes that were dirtied from their breakfast. As she scrubbed, dried, and stacked, she stared out the window, watching the ten-year-old twins, and their music teacher, Eleanor.
When it came time for Rose and Willy to get schooling for their children, they decided to let the twins decide whether they wanted to be homeschooled or attend public school.
The twins seemed to understand the difference between the two and made the decision to be homeschooled. At least until they decided that they did want to attend school with other kids. Luckily, they didn't have to worry about finding teachers because their friends stepped in to teach them.
Fleur and Dulce sat on the swings that hang from the large cotton candy tree. Fleur clutched a doll of her likeness in her hand. Ever since she received it, she never went anywhere without it. The doll (that had been named Lily) was very special to her because it was given to her by her brother. It also happened to have been made by Dulce.
It would seem that the young boy had a knack for making toys, as Lily the Doll wasn't the first one he had ever made.
Rose remembered one particular day when she was cleaning Fleur and Dulce's room.
******
The twins were usually pretty good about keeping their room tidy. But, there were odd days, like today, when their room was only a little bit messy. Like today. Fleur and Dulce were currently in a math lesson with Danny so Rose decided to clean up their room.
While she was cleaning, she had found two toys that she had never seen before. They were both yo-yos. One of them was baby pink with a floral pattern decorating the round edge and a golden 'F' right in the center. The other yo-yo was a sky blue color. There was a much simpler pattern outlining the round edge of the toy but it was still a pretty pattern, nonetheless. This yo-yo had a silver 'D' in the middle.
Rose decided to pay a visit to the classroom that the twins learned in for more serious subjects such as math, science, geography, and reading comprehension. The more fun subjects, such as music, arts and crafts, and physical education were taught within the Garden Room.
Rose stood in the doorway of the classroom, watching as Danny was going over multiplication tables with the twins. Rose let them finish going over five times five before she decided to knock on the door. Danny looked her way and smiled.
"Fleur, Dulce, look who's here!" Danny said.
The twins turned in their seats to see if Uncle Danny was either talking about mommy or daddy. Their faces lit up when they saw Rose, and they both leaped out of their seats to go and hug her.
"Mommy!" Fleur said excitedly.
"What are you doing here, mommy?" Dulce asked. Not that he minded that his mom was here of course.
"There's nothing wrong with mommy wanting to see her little angels," Rose said. She leaned down to give them both a kiss on the head. Then she looked at Danny. "How are the multiplication tables going?"
"I think they're getting the hang of it," Danny said proudly. "Dulce is getting it right off the bat. Fleur is having a little trouble, but luckily she's got her brother to help her"
"I'll get it on my own eventually," Fleur said, sounding almost disappointed with herself. "Sorry I'm not too good at math, mommy"
"Oh, jellybean," Rose cooed. "It's okay. I was never the best at math either. You just need to keep practicing and eventually, you'll get better"
Fleur's disappointed frown turned into a bright smile. "Thanks, mommy!"
"But there was something I found that I wanted to ask you two about" Rose reached into the pocket of her dress and pulled out the two yo-yos. "I don't remember your daddy or me, or any of your grandparents, or any of your aunts or uncles, getting you these yo-yos"
Dulce's eyes lit up. "That's because I made them, mommy" He confessed proudly.
Rose's eyes widened. "You made these?"
"Yeah. In arts and crafts with Auntie Lucy"
Rose smiled, feeling incredibly proud of her son. "When did you learn to make them?"
Dulce shrugged. "I don't know. I just knew how to make them" He smiled up at his mom. "I think when I'm a grown-up I want to make toys. Like Santa!"
"I think you'd make a lot of kids happy, gumdrop" Rose smiled at Dulce. She looked at Fleur. "And what about you, jellybean? What do you want to do when you're a grown-up?"
Fleur didn't even need to think about her answer. "I want to make candy just like daddy does!"
Rose giggled. "I think daddy will be very happy to hear that"

Rose couldn't help but smile at the memory. She loved that her kids already knew what they wanted to do when they grew up.
Fleur had decided that she would follow in her father's footsteps and become a chocolatier. That little girl loved helping out the Oompa-Loompas whenever she got the chance to. She already knew everything about how all the candy was made. She knew every fun fact that you could know about chocolate and candy. Charlie had seen his niece's passion and decided that when it was time, the factory would be passed down to her when she was old enough.
Then Dulce had his dream of being a toymaker when he was older. That boy could turn any little trinket or scrap he found into some kind of toy. Mr. Bucket was always trying to find things that his grandson could use. It was becoming a common occurrence that Rose and Willy would find him making something. There was no doubt that one day, he would open up his own shop, selling all the toys he's ever made. Then one day, he'll open up the biggest toy factory in the world.
Or perhaps he'll move to the North Pole and work with Santa Claus like Dulce is always saying he'll do when he's old enough.
But don't worry mommy and daddy, I'll use the sleigh to come to visit you guys every week!
The oven dinged, indicating that the cookies she had in the oven were done. She put on her oven mitts and then opened the oven. The hot air hit her face like a wave crashing onto the shore of a sandy beach. She took the cookies out and set them on the cooling rack. Then, she grabbed a couple of glasses and poured some milk into them. Once the cookies were cool enough, she set the baked goods and the milk onto a tray and brought them outside.
"Jellybean! Gumdrop!" Rose called to her children. "Milk and cookies!"
Fleur and Dulce's face lit up. They grabbed hands and ran to their mom. The both of them patiently waited until their mom said that they could take their treats. And once they did, they made sure to thank her.
"How is practice going?" Rose asked her children. "Are you two ready for tonight?"
Dulce swallowed his mouthful of cookie before answering his mom. "Auntie Eleanor says we're really talented!"
Fleur nodded in agreement. "Yeah. She says we're going to rock daddy's socks off tonight!"
Rose giggled and then looked to her friend. "And how are you feeling about tonight, Ellie?"
"Well, Felix definitely can't wait to see my performance tonight," Eleanor said about her husband. She rolled her eyes but kept her grin. "Honestly, I feel a bit silly singing it, but Fleur and Dulce like singing it and they make it worth it"
"Well, Willy is going to love it, for sure," Rose said, smiling over at her children. "He's so proud of them, and he just loves them to bits"
An Oompa-Loompa had walked up to Rose. He was carrying a stack of colorful clothes in his arms. He gently tugged on Rose's skirt to let her know of his presence. Rose looked down at the Oompa-Loompa and smiled at him. The Oompa-Loompa returned the smile. He held out the clothes for Rose to take.
"Ah! These are the clothes for tonight, yes?" Rose asked. The Oompa-Loompa nodded. Rose took the clothes. "Thank you so much!" She bowed to the Oompa-Loompa, and the Oompa-Loompa bowed in return. Before he left though, the Oompa-Loompa made sure to greet the children.
"Mommy, are those our costumes for tonight?" Fleur asked curiously.
"They sure are. Auntie Lucy made them" Rose said.
"Can we go put them on now?" Dulce asked, not being able to contain his excitement.
"If you're done with your snacks then yes" Rose permitted. She gave Fleur her costume and then gave Dulce his. "Just make sure not to get them dirty"
"We won't!" The twins spoke in unison. "We promise!" They left to go get changed, but not without receiving kisses on their cheeks from Rose.
Rose grinned at Eleanor and handed her costume to her. Eleanor held out the dress in front of her, giving it a once over. "Wherever did you come up with this, Ro?" Eleanor asked.
"It's what the puppets wore" Rose answered.
Eleanor blinked. Had she heard that right? "Puppets? What puppets?"
Rose giggled, remembering that day almost ten years ago. "It was the day of the tour. For his grand entrance, Willy had these puppets singing a song about how great he is. It was quite a wonderful show. That is until the pyrotechnics got out of hand and melted all those poor puppets"
Eleanor just stared. Honestly, when Rose handed her those lyrics, she was sure that Rose had written it because of how much she loved Willy and thought the world of him. But, she supposed with an entrance like that, you'd never forget it. "There aren't going to be any pyrotechnics, are there?" That was all she asked.
"No, of course not" Rose quickly said. She pulled something out of her pocket. "Confetti poppers"
******
Everyone gathered in the ballroom for the twin's grand performance. The reason they were singing tonight was that it was their father's birthday today. And because their dad was always making their birthday special, they wanted to make his birthday special.
When the twins told Rose what they wanted to do, the first thing that came to her mind was them singing the welcome song from that day of the tour. She was even gonna have them wearing the clothes the puppets did, but of course, she was gonna leave out the fireworks. She didn't want her children to get barbequed.
Rose made sure that everyone was comfortable in their seats, especially her grandparents (yes, they were still alive and more lively than ever). Then she had to make sure all the children were comfortable.
Since the birth of their own children, Rose and Willy's friends had gone on to marry each other and have children of their own. It started when Lucy and Harry welcomed their daughter about a year after they married. Then, it was Eleanor and Felix who married and welcomed a son. Priscilla and Danny ended up together, also welcoming a son. And now, in about nine months, Rose and Willy would become an aunt and uncle.
Charlie and Jenny married each other a little over three months ago. And just recently, Jenny found out she was pregnant. Rose was the first one she told, feeling scared by the news. But Rose assured her sister-in-law that everything was going to be okay and that Charlie would no doubt be overjoyed.
Long story short, he was.
Once everyone was seated, Rose got up onto the stage and addressed everyone. "Welcome, our wonderful family! I'd like to thank you all for coming to this wonderful celebration for my even more wonderful husband's birthday!" Rose scanned the crowd until she caught Willy's eyes. The two of them smiled at each other. "For the first time, you will be witnessing the musical talents of our daughter, Fleur Wonka, and our son, Dulce Wonka. Tonight, they will be joined by their music teacher, Eleanor Hunter" Felix smiled with pride when he heard his wife's name. "Now, please put your hands together for Fleur, Dulce, and Eleanor!"
Everyone started applauding as the red velvet curtain providing as a backdrop for Rose opened. She stepped out of view and out stepped Eleanor with Fleur and Dulce on either side of her. Eleanor was wearing a dress with a candy design on it, and Fleur was wearing one with a flowery design on it. They both wore matching pink shoes and white aprons with a pink W on the front. Their hair was done up in matching pigtails.
Dulce on the other hand wore a white dress shirt with matching white pants. He wore a polka dot vest and a polka dot bowtie. He also wore an apron with a pink W on it, and a white hat with a pink W on top of his slicked-back hair. Finally, he wore a pair of black dress shoes.
Behind them, was a backdrop constructed similarly to the one that the puppets had used for their performance. Behind the backdrop, was another red curtain.
Willy's eyes lit up and his smile grew wide. He knew why this scene looked so familiar! He had his puppets sing to his guests on the day of the tour, and now his children were about to sing for him. Oh dear, he just hoped that the pyrotechnics were left out.
The music started up. The children and their music teacher being to sing in perfect harmony, and dance in perfect coordination.
Willy Wonka, Rosie Wonka
The Amazing Chocolatiers
Wait, hang on. Did they just sing Rosie Wonka? Eleanor managed to catch Rose's eyes and she threw her a wink. Rose grinned, confirming her suspicion. Eleanor had changed it to include Rose's name in the song.
Willy Wonka, Rosie Wonka
Everybody give a cheer!
They're modest, clever, and so smart,
They barely can restrain it.
With so much generosity,
There is no way to contain it
To contain it, to contain, to contain, to contain.
When it came to the musical break, Rose quickly rushed into the audience so she could grab her husband. Willy was confused at first but trusted his wife as she pulled him up on the stage. They waited behind the other curtain which concealed not just one, but two red velvet chairs. Willy sat in one, and Rose sat in the other. The two of them joined hands.
Willy Wonka, Rosie Wonka
They're the ones that you're about to meet.
Willy Wonka, Rosie Wonka
They're geniuses who can't be beat.
The magicians and chocolate 'wizes
The best darn pair who ever lived
Willy and Rosie Wonka here they are!
The curtains pulled back to reveal the couple. Once the music came to a complete stop, that's when Eleanor, Fleur, and Dulce pulled their confetti poppers. The colorful paper went flying everywhere. Everyone stood up from their seats, hollering and clapping. But no one was cheering as loud as Willy was.
"That was magnificent!" Willy cheered. He turned to Rose, took her face and his hands, and gave her a great big kiss. "That was truly wonderful!"
Rose smiled at him. "You sure it wasn't dodgy in the middle part?"
"No, no! Every part of the was wonderful! And that finale? Wow!" Rose couldn't help but smile as she thought back to the first day she met him. "I like this version more because it includes you! Did you do this for me, starshine?"
"It wasn't my idea," Rose said, shaking her head.
"Daddy! Daddy!" The twins called out to their father.
"Mommy says this wasn't her idea," Willy said. "Was it yours?"
"Yes, daddy" Fleur nodded her head.
"We hope you liked it!" Dulce said. "We just wanted to have a special birthday"
"Because you're always giving us a special birthday" Fleur finished.
"Oh, my precious jellybean and gumdrop" Willy cooed lovingly to his children. He pulled them both into a hug. "I loved it so much! And it gives me such a wonderful idea"
"What is it, cocoa bean?" Rose asked, curious as to what her husband's idea was.
"I've been thinking a lot about it, but I think I'm ready to open the factory to the public again. Start giving regular tours"
"Are you sure about that?"
"Yes, starshine. I am" Willy nodded. He looked at the twins and smiled. "And I think before every tour, you two should sing that to the guests"
Fleur and Dulce started jumping with joy at the idea. "Do you really mean it, daddy?" Dulce asked.
"I sure do!"
"We won't let you down, daddy" Fleur vowed. "We promise!"
"Nothing you two do could ever let me down," Willy said. "I am proud of everything that you do" He looked at Fleur. "And I know that you're going to be an amazing chocolatier, jellybean" Then, he looked at Dulce. "And you're going to be a wonderful toymaker, gumdrop. You're going to make every child in the world happy with your toys"
The twins smiled like they always do when they hear how proud their mommy and daddy are of them. They brought their parents into a big hug and spoke in unison. "We love you, mommy! We love you, daddy!"
Rose and Willy looked at each other, smiling and saying at the same time. "We love you, too"
