Dixie influenced Harry to write her term paper. What's the point of having a guy obsessed with you if you don't use that to your advantage?

Speaking of obsessed... Vidalia's standing very close to Ripp whilst he's painting.

Dixie's taking @penig's advice and having a go at a quilt.

The next thing I knew, Vidalia was fast asleep in Ripp's bed! They haven't even dated yet! (Or maybe they did have a first date; but they definitely haven't woohooed!)

Vidalia: Ripp?

Ripp: Sorry - didn't mean to wake you.

Vidalia: Did I fall asleep? I'm sorry, I'll-

Ripp: No, stay.

Ripp: I like having you here.

Vidalia: Morning, handsome.

Ripp: Morning... I guess I should ask you on a proper date today, then?

It's a bit cold out, but they don't let it deter them.

Yeah, Vidalia's sister's definitely watching them.

Ripp: So, um... I've never done this before.

Eden: Auntie Dixie! Are you okay?

Eden: Okay, let's go!

Eden: Go on, go on, go on!

Eden: Yes! That was pretty good!

Dixie: It sure was! Do you want to get a burger or something now?

Eden: Yeah!

Dixie ordered her food first, but wasn't served until Eden and a dormie had got theirs. Not sure what that was about.

Eden: Can girls be spacemans?

Dixie: Of course, although I guess you'd have to call yourself a spacewoman... or an astronaut - that's the real word.

Eden: Asta... asta... I can't say it. I'll be a spacemangirl!

Eden: Auntie Dixie, I'm your niece! Papa teached me that word - it means you're my auntie. And did you know Maia and Shelly and Alma are all my niece?

Dixie: Right, we should probably get you to the bus stop - your daddy said he'd be there to pick you up at six and it's almost that now.

Eden: Thank you for having me, Auntie Dixie! I had a super cool time!

In the afternoon, Dixie took her niece bowling!

Ripp: Wanna go out with me again? I thought we could check out the boutique? Maybe I could try on a suit and you could... 'help' me with my tie?

Vidalia: Ooh, that sounds fun!

Ripp: Hey, um... this girl I dated in high school gets here next semester and... I'd quite like to date both of you... what do you think about that?

Vidalia: I guess that's alright... I just have to make sure I keep you too occupied to date her that much, huh?

Ripp: I'm definitely going to have my hands full with the both of you! C'mon, let's go find a suit for me to try on!

Vidalia: Hi, Dior!

Ripp: Vidalia!

Vidalia: Coming!

Yeah, just before Vidalia stepped into the clothing booth with Ripp, Dior tried to kiss her!

Ripp: We should definitely do that again sometime!

Vidalia: Right now, get changed back and let's get out of here before they kick us out and ban us!

Second date time for Ripp and Vidalia!

Woody came home with a date want, so called Virginia.

Woody got home to find Scot on the front porch, with fun too low to agree to play chess. Who says chess isn't fun?!

Skye loves weekends when he can just study in peace!

Time to make some more stock for the stand.

Turns out this was the only picture I got of Brady, the new dog.

Wow, Virginia! That's a generous present! I might sell it and put the money towards a hot tub one day. Woody would really like a hot tub.

Sure! (It was an elderly male dog named Brady, who I didn't get a decent picture of).

Woody: Do you think sims will go to space in my lifetime? I'd love to explore other planets! Maybe even meet my pollination technician...

I've never seen this woman before - I wonder if she's the business reporter.

Business is booming!

Woody needed a fun boost, so once Candy had purchased something he asked her to play red hands with him.

Success!

On Sunday morning, Woody bought some woodcrafted items from the Land teens, and then headed out to sell them and the things he's crafted at his roadside stand.

He also became the first sim in Strangepot to be visited by the business reporter!

Land, Day 10, Part 3

Delta: So, um... are we dating now? Like boyfriend and girlfriend?

Rocky: Sure!

They got their first kiss and agreed to go steady, but for some reason Rocky wasn't rolling date wants (I wonder if it's related to the duplicate Rocky issue from earlier) so I ended the date soon after that. Delta had wants for her first makeout, but I wasn't comfortable them going there when I wasn't sure Rocky wanted it too.

Land, Day 10, Part 4

Beulah: Dixie! It's so good to see you! Let's get you in out of the cold!

Dixie: Yeah, it's a lot colder out here than it is at uni!

Dixie: So I hear Delta's got a cat?

Beulah: Yeah, Lady. She and Chase are getting on like a house on fire!

I don't know why Olive and Kristen don't get on, but there was a lot of poking going on.

Scot should be friends with his brother-in-law!

In the afternoon, Beulah went to the Community Centre to meet Dixie. Dixie asked to bring a friend along, and it was Scot (who was in bed taking a nap when Beulah left, completely controllable when he was at the Community Centre, and fast asleep again when Beulah got home!)

River: Alright there, Lady?

Scot: I met Rocky at the Community Centre earlier. He seems like a nice guy.

Delta: He is. He's my boyfriend.

Beulah loves her grandbaby!

I made a new rule in this house that whichever kid has the lowest mechanical points has to fix the exploding sink. Life lessons, right?

All they need now is hot chocolate for afterwards.

Meanwhile, Scot and Delta spent the whole evening hanging out with Mary.

Eden: Grandpa, you're still in your police clothes!

Eden: Play faster, Auntie Delta!

I'm surprised they don't wake Delta up with all their loud playing. I'm sure a real cat and dog would!

Jill bought River a hot tub!

Homer brought Mary home from work with him, and Beulah had wants for Eden, so I teleported her in too to spend the afternoon and evening. Mary took her home at 11pm, when Beulah was making dinner.

Land, Day 10, Part 1

It took a little while for someone to come and tip him, I guess because there's plenty to do here.

That's better!

There's only so much time you can play piano without any social interaction, though.

Rocky, who Scot's always thought of as "Virginia's little brother" is suprisingly grown up these days.

I decided that Widespot needed an indoor community lot which was actually intended for hanging out in, unlike the General Store. I also wanted somewhere to put an instrument so Scot could make money busking.

The new Widespot Community Centre has a park complete with grilling area, and a community building with don't wake the llama, coffee, a piano, toilets, and plenty of space to sit and chat.

And Scot was only too happy to playtest!

I don't know who you think is going to tip you, Rich! I'm sure you don't pay the butler enough!

Promotions! Kristen's now only one promotion away from a coaching job.

Kristen: Wow, look at all the bath toys! What a lucky girl you are!

I'm pretty sure Alec gets far less work done now Margot's big enough to play with.

Lana: Come on, Margot - walk to Grandmamma!

Junior: You okay?

Kristen: Yeah. I think I'm having contractions, though - far apart for now. But I think this baby's coming tonight!
