spencer agnew where his partner is visiting shoot day and Spencer flirts with reader in his chosen outfit 🤭
I Choose You || Chosen!Spencer Agnew x reader
⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ masterlist • smosh masterlist ⋆˚。⋆୨୧⋆
summary: when you come to visit smosh, where your boyfriend spencer works, he surprises you by showing you one of his favorite characters
word count: 1.1k
warnings: none
a/n: ahh i hope you enjoy this my love 🤭 this worked perfect for a short lil fic and i hope it’s what you wanted
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~°~❦~°~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Can I ask why you’re wearing a jester hat?”
You looked up at the woman in front of you.
“This?” She said, “It’s part of my character. Though what character I don’t exactly know yet.”
You shrugged. It wasn’t the weirdest thing you’d seen since you arrived at Smosh.
You’d just arrived a few minutes ago, finally making your way to the right studio. Spencer hadn’t given you exact directions and you’d had to ask multiple people which way it was.
“So are you new here?” The jester-hat woman asked. “I’m Amanda, by the way.”
“No, I’m just visiting,” you gestured to your lanyard, “I’m (Y/n), Spencer’s partner.”
Amanda cocked her head to the side. “Huh, so you are real. There goes my 20 bucks.”
You chuckled. “Yeah, Spencer invited me to come watch the shoot today. He said he wanted to show me something, but I don’t know where he is.”
“Found him,” Amanda said, pointing in the direction of Spencer
You watched as he walked towards you. You took in his attire. He was wearing a black wolf-themed t-shirt, khaki shorts, and dark sunglasses, a sword at his hip.
“Oh boy,” Amanda patted your shoulder, “Good luck with that.”
She stepped away leaving you alone, before Spencer arrived in front of you.
“Hey Spence,” you said. “I—
“So,” he interrupted. He put on a voice, completely in character. “You must be the new visitor here at Smosh.”
He indicated the visitor’s lanyard you wore around your neck. You were only confused for a moment before you realized. This must be what he wanted to show you—a character. You decided to sit back and see where this went.
“This studio is a freaking hellscape,” he continued, “If you wish to survive here, you must listen to these instructions, and listen carefully.”
You raised an eyebrow, stifling a laugh.
Spencer pulled his sunglasses down, breaking character for a moment “(Y/n), this is serious. Never laugh at the Chosen.”
“The Chosen?”
“Yes,” Spencer said, becoming the character again, voice and all. “The Chosen. Master of wit and combat. Downfall of all my enemies.”
“Right,” you nodded your head, an amused look on your face, “Got it. Continue.”
“As I was saying,” Spencer—the Chosen—kept going, “listen up if you want to have a rat’s chance at walking out of here alive.”
“Number one. Never ask Angela about the chronology of any important historical events.”
“Hey!” The woman who must have been Angela shouted in outrage, overhearing.
“It’s ok, Ange,” Amanda consoled her, “I get my ones and elevens confused too.”
“Moving on,” Spencer continued. “Number two. If you ever need to coerce Shayne into doing your bidding, use a La Croix. Some might say it’s his life force.”
You nodded, playing along with the bit.
“And finally, there are many aesthetically pleasing males here. More aesthetically pleasing than I. An epidemic, if you will. However, even though you may be tempted, pay no attention to any of them under any circumstances. They are all intellectually my inferior, trust me.”
You giggled, rolling your eyes at your boyfriend.
“I doubt that,” you said.
“I am always correct. And I assure you, my IQ is that of an—”
“No, I meant you know I think you’re the most attractive one here.”
“Have you heard of the warrior known as Damien?”
“Doesn’t matter,” you smiled, wrapping your arms around Spencer, “Because I only have eyes for you.”
“Well in that case, I’m not going to argue with you.”
“I thought you were always right?” You shot back.
“Ah, I see you’ve unlocked my one weakness: beautiful people.”
You blushed, placing your hands on his chest. “You have a weakness?”
“I know, surprising. But even Hercules had his own form of kryptonite.”
“Let me guess, you fought with him,” you teased, taking a step back. “What is it, clubs? Anvils? Some mythical monster?”
“No, it was Megara’s love. Did you even watch the Disney movie?”
You laughed. “So, beautiful people, huh?”
You looked into Spencer’s eyes. “I seem to have that weakness too.”
“Then you’ll know how serious it is,” he said, “And you’ll know what the only way of defending yourself against its hold is.”
You looked at him expectantly.
“We must kiss.”
“Only if it’s absolutely necessary,” you played along.
“Very,” Spencer mumbled, leaning in to kiss you.
Your lips met his and you wrapped your arms around his neck. He pulled you in, his hand tight around your back.
“Spencer!”
You pulled apart slowly and both looked in the direction of the voice.
“Make out on your own time, we need you on set!” Amanda called.
“Well,” Spencer said, turning back to you. “It seems I must begin another mission—one with significantly less hot babes.”
You rolled your eyes at him.
“I’ll see you later then,” you kissed him gently, “I’ll try to survive as long as I can.”
“Best of luck. And remember, I may be the Chosen,” he said, “But I choose you.”
He bent down and kissed your hand slowly, before tipping his non-existent hat to you and walking back to set.
You sat down on a chair towards the back of the room, reflecting on the interaction you’d just had.
You loved Spencer so much. It was things like this that reminded you why.
You watched the whole shoot, enjoying seeing some of what Spencer did as a living. You knew he was talented and funny and dedicated—but watching him work just renewed that knowledge.
You were more in love with him than when you got there.
The shoot ended and Spencer walked over to you, wrapping his arms around you and giving you a quick kiss on the forehead.
“Well, what’d you think?” He asked, back to himself.
“I thought you were incredible,” you answered, trying your hand at the Chosen voice.
Spencer smiled, “Not bad, babe. But maybe you should leave the Chosen-ing to me.”
“You are the master,” you saluted.
There was silence for a moment.
“So,” you began, tracing your finger along one of his arm tattoos, “Do you think you could, um, bring some of that Chosen stuff home?”
“Really?” Spencer raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah, I don’t know,” you said, “I think it’s kinda sexy.”
“You do?” Spencer looked shocked and a bit flustered before clearing his throat and covering it up.
“I mean,” he said, his voice deeper, “Of course you do.”
You laughed, beginning to walk towards the door, grabbing Spencer’s hand as he followed you.
“So,” he said, putting back on the Chosen voice as you giggled, “You’ve become enamored with the Chosen?”
He paused.
“Impressive.”
5+1 Headcanons!
I got tagged by @romirola to participate in her game for five headcanons I have, and one I'm still developing! I'm so sorry this is late—everyone else was playing this game like two weeks ago... Here we go!
—
Starlight isn't just endlessly curious and intellectual—they're also a total nerd/geek. They play Dungeons & Dragons, Zelda, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, etc. They told Avior so much about DnD while they were in the trap that he jokes he already knows how to play even though he'd never been on Elegy long enough to learn how
Huxley and Freelancer joined Lasko's other friends' DnD campaign a couple years ago but now that Huxley and Damien are dating, Damien's getting dragged into playing too he finds out it is actually ridiculously therapeutic and since the group was getting too big for the DM, Huxley volunteered to split off. He, Freelancer, Damien, and Lasko make their own group and Gavin joins too. Huxley DMs most of the time, until our favorite control freak who is definitely a rules lawyer Damien gets comfortable with it. Lasko still plays with his other friends too but no one complains about getting to play more DnD. Least of all Lasko. Gavin only trolls Damien a little bit.
I'm so sorry but Vincent played the trumpet in middle school/junior high and high school. To make it up to any band kids in this fandom, He also currently plays the piano like a virtuoso
David owns one (1) pair of blue jeans, rather than black. He wears them when doing yardwork and camping, and that's it Asher owns six (6) pairs of jorts
Elliott almost always wears a grey beanie. Aaron is the one that gave it to him.
+1 I'm working on: Cam and Gavin know each other since Crux is a mutual friend. They actually get along a lot better than literally anyone ever expected them to. Cam's chiller vibes let Gavin relax before he ever met the D.A.M.N. crew, and Cam is also older
Not tagging anyone because all my friends already played. But I will tag @frenchiefitzhere so she can put it on her fridge 😉
Most to least likely to call me slurs out of the BTD/TPOF characters
- Cain (every damn name in the book just watch)
-Derek.
-Jack (he’s a cop lets be for real)
-Vincent (southern)
-Ren (would call me a fag no hesitation but respectfully)
-Akira (not aggressively but as a joke sure idk)
-Rire (no thoughts. It’s not likely but not necessarily opposed to the idea)
-Strade (seems ok, probably gonna come up with some other wildly insulting name tho)
-Sano (would call you intellectually disabled or mentally deficient but that’s about it)
-Damien (same as Ren, but less likely)
-Celia (don’t know where to put her I haven’t gotten into her route but Im not saying she wouldn’t do it)
-Lawrence (couldn’t seen him doing it tbh)
-Mason (seems like quite the respectful lad)
Sebastian Sallow Myers-Briggs Type // Like Moths to a Flame Series (Seb x Male MC)
Since my series is told from Sebastian's POV, I thought I would take the Myers-Briggs test from his perspective too. My vision of Sebastian is apparently an ENTJ. The write-up is so scary accurate that it's freaking me out. LMAO. @honeybadgerdontcare394 - Thanks for saying you were interested in reading this (and taking one for your vision of Sebastian too!). @scilla-aster (if you want to try this too!!) I am so curious to see what other writers' versions of Sebastian's personality are. When I read other Hogwarts: Legacy stories, I like to imagine hundreds of different alternative universes where our Bash/Seb/(*insert nickname of choice here*) ends up happy and fulfilled with all our various OCs. (I have a very hard time reading stories that don't end happily for Bash.)
Notes re: his romantic compatibility with Damien (an ENFP), since they are essentially half-opposites (wow!): ENTJs primarily look for intellectual stimulation. As one of the most cerebral personality types, they enjoy debates, and they look for partners who open their minds to new ideas. ENTJs have a treasure chest of knowledge that they love to share with the right person.
^ Sebastian lucked out that Damien is a Ravenclaw and has an extremely curious mind.
ENTJs appreciate partners who can help them get in touch with their feelings because this isn’t something that comes naturally to people of this personality type.
I love this ^ because in my series Sebastian really struggles to understand and express his feelings. Damien is very in tune with his emotions and is not afraid to act on them. ENFPs see ENTJs for who they really are. ENTJs aren’t typically seen as warm people, but they tend to be extremely helpful, generous, and supportive. As one of the personality types who are most interested in people, ENFPs look deeper and notice traits about ENTJs that other people don’t see.
^ Don't mind me; just tearing up here. LMAO. I hope this came across in my series because it's one of the main reasons I wrote it. Sebastian needs someone to see him for who he truly is, and I'd like to think Damien does.
Their communication style chart (Seb - ENTJ, Damien - ENFP):
ENTJs are assertive, competitive, and like a good challenge. At their best, they are bold and confident leaders who are willing to take unpopular action. ENTJs may be overly proud, boisterous, and willing to manipulate others to achieve their goals. At their worst, they can be narcissistic, overly focused on their own needs, and lack empathy for others.
ENFPs often support, openly sympathize, and actively offer help to others At their best, they are gentle sympathizers, who are easily trusted and accepted. ENFPs may be overly revealing and have difficulty being alone. At their worst, they can require too much attention and admiration from others and be excessively involved in the affairs of others.
YUPPPPPPPPPPPPPP. Okay, I'm done now. Here's a silly pic of Sebastian for reading this far :)
Why do I prefer Damien over Beastboy?
1. Complementary Personalities: Damian's serious and brooding nature complements Raven's calm and introspective demeanor. They balance each other out and provide emotional support.
2. Shared Experiences: Both Damian and Raven have had challenging upbringings and have faced their fair share of darkness. This shared background can create a deeper understanding and connection between them.
3. Similar Powers: Damian, as the son of Batman, possesses exceptional combat skills and strategic thinking, which align well with Raven's powers. They can work together effectively as a team in battles.
4. Growth and Development: Damian has shown growth throughout the DCAMU movies, becoming more compassionate and understanding. This growth can be appealing to fans who believe he would be a good match for Raven's emotional needs.
5. Chemistry: Some fans may simply feel that Damian and Raven have a stronger chemistry and connection in their interactions, which makes their relationship more compelling and interesting to follow.
6. Intellectual Connection: Damian is known for his intelligence and strategic thinking, which can create a strong intellectual connection with Raven. Some fans appreciate the idea of them engaging in deep conversations and challenging each other's minds.
7. Maturity and Stability: Damian is often portrayed as more mature and emotionally stable compared to Beast Boy's carefree and playful nature. This stability can be seen as a desirable trait for Raven, who values emotional grounding and stability.
8. Shared Trauma: Both Damian and Raven have experienced trauma in their lives, which can create a unique bond between them. Fans may appreciate the idea of them understanding and supporting each other through their shared pain.
9. Growth Potential: Damian's complex character arc and potential for growth can be intriguing to fans. They may enjoy the idea of Raven being a positive influence on Damian, helping him further develop his empathy and emotional intelligence.
⚠️Remember, these opinions are subjective and may not reflect everyone's views☺️. The beauty of shipping and fandom is that different people can have different preferences and interpretations of character dynamics🩷. Ultimately, it's up to each individual fan to decide which pairing they prefer and resonate with the most😁
For the Redacted Ask Game: #7 / #19 / #25
Redacted Ask Game Thank you darling xoxo love you asking me questions I know you already know <3
7. Least favorite canon couple(s)?
Mmmm, probably Vincent/Lovely because I find Vincent very boring? He just doesn't appeal to me.
19. Which character(s) are you most similar to?
You just want me to expose my kin list - for FREE? It's Freelancer and Damien though, for sure. I'm such a support/healer class and a raging idealistic intellectual
25. Favorite series? (ex. Imperium, Inversion, The Balance, Project Meridian..ect)
Freelancer seasons 1-3 are my favorite!
For the first crack at South Park fan art, I decided to do the Foreign Kids as 80s King Crimson!
Since Adrian Belew is the one in red and is often noted for his bouncy, cheerful persona onstage, how could I not put Pip in that role?
For Robert Fripp, the man in a black suit who’s notorious for being intense, grumpy, moody, and not much of a people person with a stage presence consisting entirely of him sitting down to play in a way that just screams STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME. This one was naturally Damien.
For Bill Bruford, I decided it should be Gregory of Yardale. The refined intellectual with blonde hair wearing a button down, all while showing a face that screams “what have I gotten myself into?” I normally wouldn’t cast Gregory as the drummer, but seriously, look at Bill Bruford there and tell me that’s not Gregory?
For Tony Levin, I went with ze Mole. At least partly by default, but also because as the bass man, Tony digs into the roots just as a mole would. Also, to master a Chapman Stick, much less be able to sing while playing that thing, you clearly have to be a few screws loose, so yeah, Christophe was a given.
Demons of the Mind: Exploring Infernal Names from an Atheistic Satanist Perspective
Author: Damien Harker | Date: 26, September 2023
[DISCLAIMER: These are my opinions and by no means representative of CoS as a whole.]
Greetings, fellow seekers of knowledge and empowerment. Today, I want to dive into a topic that has long fascinated me—demonology, specifically the Infernal Names. But here's the twist: let's explore these infernal entities not as supernatural beings, but as symbolic representations of our own human experiences, emotions, and states of mind.
The Infernal Names: A Different Perspective
In the realm of demonology, the Infernal Names are often associated with malevolent entities and dark forces. However, from an atheistic Satanist viewpoint, we can reinterpret these names as symbolic representations of aspects of our own consciousness and the human experience. The following is just a short list of examples.
Paimon: The Pursuit of Knowledge
Let's start with Paimon, often associated with the pursuit of science and the acquisition of knowledge. In this context, Paimon can symbolize our insatiable curiosity, our thirst for understanding, and our relentless quest for scientific exploration. Paimon becomes a metaphor for the relentless pursuit of knowledge that drives humanity forward.
Asmoday: The Art of Creation
Asmoday is traditionally linked to Arithmetic, Geometry, and Handicrafts. In our atheistic interpretation, Asmoday embodies our innate creativity and the human ability to create and construct. Whether it's solving mathematical problems, crafting intricate designs, or building remarkable structures, Asmoday represents the human drive to shape our world through art and craftsmanship.
Astaroth: Guardian of the Past, Present, and Future
Astaroth, traditionally associated with revealing secrets and knowledge about the past, present, and future. In our reinterpretation, Astaroth embodies mankind's insatiable curiosity about history, the liberal arts, and the unfolding tapestry of time. Astaroth becomes a symbol of our unrelenting desire to understand our origins, the world around us, and the mysteries of the ages.
Lucifer: The Light of Enlightenment
The name Lucifer has deep historical and religious connotations. In our reinterpretation, Lucifer represents the light of enlightenment, the intellectual and philosophical awakening that empowers us to question, think critically, and challenge dogma. It's a reminder that the pursuit of enlightenment and the rejection of intellectual darkness are fundamental aspects of the human experience.
In Conclusion: Our Inner Demons
By reframing the Infernal Names as symbolic representations of our own human experiences and qualities, we gain a unique perspective on demonology. These "demons" become mirrors reflecting our innermost attributes, emotions, and potential.
As atheistic Satanists, we recognize that the power to shape our lives and our world lies within us. By understanding and embracing the symbolic meanings behind these Infernal Names, we can harness their energy to further our personal growth, knowledge, and empowerment.
In the spirit of exploration and self-discovery,
Damien Harker 🌑🔥
Some random hcs for the younger campers because they're rotting my brain and they don't get enough attention:
Chiara is a major overachiever. She has natural good luck because of her mother so she was quickly good at a lot of things and built up a reputation of being a star child that she is desperate to maintain. She took a tonne of extracurriculars because of this
She spent the first few years of school when she was really young in Italy and had to move because her mortal family made this really successful business venture and she adapted to English school really quickly
Her family is really successful and she is grateful to have had such a privileged upbringing but (like Piper's dad) they rarely have time for her which is why she is a year-round camper. She tells her family she's at this very exclusive education programme for physically and intellectually gifted kids, which the other campers have so much fun with ("Fuck you *camper name*, I'm too Physically and Intellectually Gifted for this)
Alice is always down to help her forge whatever documents she needs to convince her parents
She went to the same high school as Damien before they knew they were demigods and he immediately hated her because he was jealous of how smart and well-liked she was and her effortless talent at everything she was such a snob and didn't even have to work for anything
Damien is a massive edgelord with a complex about being the dark and mysterious guy that sits at the back of the classroom with no friends. Even when he got to camp, he couldn't separate this from being part of his identity so he became the classic lancer archetype that talks about how they too dark and edgy to have friends while being surrounded by a circle of people who would lay down their lives for him
They've all made a pact not to tell him because it'll be too funny when he finds out on his own
(if he ever does)
When he got claimed he tried asking if he had any demigod siblings and actually got so excited when people started being secretive and awkward about it because in his heart he is the protagonist of a nitty-gritty urban fantasy and he loves the idea of a hidden past that people are reluctant to tell him about
He refuses to believe he's just a side character in a middle-grade series about gods and preteens
Ben (the guy who got one line about his wheelchair of death in ToN) is a perfect balance between jock and nerd. He is very down with entertaining Damien's delusions
He's in the school DnD club and the chess club but he's also one of the buffest guys around. He could bench press virtually any other camper that asks
Because of this everyone assumed he would end up being a child or Ares or some other war god. But he ended up being the kid of a super chill minor deity. He got his love for wheelchairs of death from his mortal parent, who also fostered his love for DnD and all things nerdy
He always did have a penchant for bow ties.
Whether it was due to his occupation as a medical doctor which compelled him to dress in such stereotypical fashion or just his own love for the wretched things, Damien didn’t know. What he did know was that it made the man easy to spot in the crowded hotel dining room.
Damien was concerned about recognising him at first. After all, it had been ten years since they had last seen each other. A man can change quite a lot in ten years. Yet there he was, lounging in the dimmed lights with a glass of scotch, evidently soaking in the soft melodic tones of the jazz band near the front of the room.
He had barely changed. That was the surprising thing. His hair was still blond, though now parted in a more sophisticated way than in their youth. His head still tilted to the right indicating he was deep in thought. His middle finger still drummed against the chilled glass in time with whatever rhythmic music was around him. And of course that ridiculous bowtie which somehow made him seem both intellectual and eccentric. Damien couldn’t fully see his face from this angle, but he had a sneaking suspicion that the features would be relatively unchanged as well. The man had always taken care of himself. Damien wished he could say the same.
As it was, Damien knew he had changed. His dark hair was long now, pulled back into a low ponytail. His skin was calloused from hard work and the skinny limbs of his youth had long since been toned with muscle. Even with the minor esthetique changes, Damien knew he had changed on the inside as well. People could see it in his eyes. He could see it in the mirror. He was hardened, cold, and much less empathetic to the plight of others.
Perhaps he had changed on the inside just as much? Damien wouldn’t know until he looked him in the eye, but it was highly unlikely. Damien was never as good as he was.
Damien crossed the smoke filled room with a grace and ease which would have made him impossible to detect even without the jazz covering up most of the noise. He had gone over many ways in which this reunion would happen. Over the years, when his old friend had not made any attempt at reconciliation as was per usual for them, he had gone over again and again how he would pick up the slack this time around.
Unfortunately for them, reconciliation was not one of Damien’s talents.
Ten years.
So long for one’s life within a career, yet so short when it comes to holding a grudge.
Damien approached the red armchair from behind. Taking a deep breath, he spoke just loud enough to be heard over the smooth music, but not so loud as to startle the man.
“Doctor William Alston, I’d never thought I’d see the day.”
hmm 👁👁
Now Damien and Stardust has some interesting potential, on an intellectual level, on an unhinged and deeply unserious level, and on a history together level
Stardust seems interested in him on some level, he keeps doing the cute camera hands thing at him lmao
Okay, I basically wanna know everything you’ve got to tell 😂
I’d like to know more about Sawyer and his dad. Like personality or anything like that.
And they fight monsters? Very cool. Is that like their job, or just part of the world they’re in?
And if you’ve got any sort of info on what the story overall is about?
WHEW, HERE WE GO!
Basic plot!
Monsters are everywhere! Every single scary story and ghoulish tale that’s ever fueled your nightmares is real!
But you've never seen one because of a secret organization that's been hunting them down since the dawn of time.
The organization is small and elite. Most members are born into it and are expected to have families to further the line and keep it a secret. Damien (Sawyers's father) was born into one of these families and grew up ridding the world of these unsightly beasts.
After the success of a high-profile mission, Damien cut ties with the organization (unheard of) and immediately went into hiding to start a new life in the small port city of Mulligan's Bay, a quiet coastal town in Northern California.
But cutting ties with an organization that demands your complete loyalty till the end of time isn't an easy task and the monsters you spent decades hunting down aren't so quick to forgive either. Damien was able to spend a few good years in peace until a random monster attack thrust both him and his son Sawyer back into the family business.
Tensions are high as they both adjust to their new environment, all while trying to balance a normal life.
Especially since both the organization and monsters have taken a special interest in Sawyer 👀
Personality!
Damien:
Damien likes to keep to himself.
He is incredibly inquisitive with a strong intellectual drive. He can read people incredibly well.
Despite his reclusive nature, he has an interest in the private affairs of other people, especially his son's social life. He can be nosey when a certain topic catches his attention and often lacks delicacy when discussing potentially sensitive topics.
(For example, if the other parents in town want to throw a local BBQ. Damien will not be attending because he does not want to talk to anyone but he Will find out everything that happened there through secondhand accounts and listening to gossip while minding his own business waiting in line at the grocer. (People exhausted him but human activity does not)
He has a rocky relationship with the townspeople, most of them finding him and his family strange and off-putting, but due to his current line of work and personal ties with important socialites, they are forced to put up with him.
He is often emotionally distant and prefers to busy himself with his own hobbies and work but he still cares for his son deeply.
Sawyer:
Sawyer is an outgoing and energetic teenage boy. He is unconventional in his thoughts and hardly turns down a bad idea, he's usually the one who suggests if we’re being honest.
This, of course, lands him lots of trouble, good thing he can jive talk his way out of most ( key word most) situations due to his sharp wit and quick thinking. He is intelligent and very resourceful, though most people overlook it because of his harmless appearance and attitude. Sawyer always looks on the bright side and tends to find humor in non-humourous situations. Much to the frustration of his father. He is impulsive but also a fast learner.
Due to his troublesome nature, most adults tend to find him hard to deal with but his classmates seem to like his adventurous spirit.
#anyways….#I hope this doesn’t disappoint you 👀👉👈#there’s more to add but I thought maybe this was a good start#personal#orginal character#story idea#oc#eureka drabbles
