day 10 of @tmaynt. I don't have a favourite but the idea the only one allowed to say the fuck word being Rise Raph is too good to pass up. The Rise turtles are 13-15 during the main series they're Just learning all the big bad words they're not allowed to say and mouthing them off like sailors.
Proof: I was once 13-15.

I feel bad for creepy disney properties, creepy disney usually gets the shaft in one way or another. - Gargoyles (not letting Lex be out gay cause it was the 90's, fighting about length of second season, creator gets kicked off third season, then cancelation) - Owl House (sudden cancelation for being gay) - Nightmare Before Christmas (distributed through Touchstone *a small production owned by Disney* because it was "too creepy and weird") - even Gravity Falls had to fight ridiculous emails from producers Just wanna give a well-deserved shout out for Creepy disney pushing boundaries and speaking to us weird kids. Thank you, you deserve better.

Changeling Fantasy and Neurodiversity
Can we talk about the trope "Changeling Fantasy" in regard to neurodiversity? Yes I stumbled across this on tvtropes.com. Yes I finally found the name of the trope I related to too much as a kid. Yeah I've been putting this trope into my fanfic I have in my head without realizing why. And yes, I'm gonna rant about it. The changeling fantasy is basically the trope where a character finds out that their family is not their real family and that explains why they are different. It is an explanation for being outside the norm. The family group is the norm, and not being the same as everyone else means there is something wrong with the person/situation. But this trope gives a satisfying and logical explanation as to why you do not fit into this status of normal, because you were never supposed to. You are a different creature than your family, and that is ok. Great even in some cases. The story usually begins with the adoption. A stork making the wrong delivery, a tragedy befalling the original parents, or the classic baby in a basket down the river.
The family takes in the child and does their best to take care of them, despite their differences. Sometimes with the trope "interspecies adoption" the child will even get confused as to what they really are.
Although sometimes, the caretakers that either found them, or stole them away, are not as caring as they appear, and can even be the real danger...
But of course, because the child in question is different, there will always be a yearning to find out why. What can't they fit in? Is there another way of living that's more suited to them? Are there others like them out there?
Suddenly, either someone tells them, "Suprise, you're adopted!"...
Or the character finds another one of their kind (or akin to them)
This then takes the character on the journey of finding others of their kind, the "there is another" trope at times. And if/when they do find more, and if more of their kind is friendly/not wanting to kill all humans, then the feeling of belonging and understanding finally washes over them
I can say for some, that's the same feeling for neurodiverse folks. Family either, tries their best to raise you even when it can be a challenge from society, or takes advantage and abuses the child. You feel "off" from everyone else but can't tell why. You either discover or are told, "Hey guess what? You're (enter neurodiversity here) There is a great search for more knowledge about your condition and for others with it. And finally, the elation of finding a community of others like yourself. You are not alone there is whole community waiting for you. You are not a freak, what you do is normal and healthy. And despite what people have said in the past, you matter.
That is the fantasy and wish fulfillment of this trope.

Pigeons playing poker in the park for pumpkin bread. Trying saying that five times fast. Another silly head cannon I have for this version of Venus is that she doesn't like birds, but she'll gamble with them. Especially over carbs.

BIG LOBSTER NEWS apparently an orange lobster at the university of New England had babies and half of them are orange and half are normal
So the answer is yes. Weirdly colored lobsters do have weirdly colored babies.

Sketched these out at a con I was tabling at and decided to fully color them digitally. Of course me, the person creating Legend Catcher, a story about a mythos biologist, is gonna love Dungeon Meshi. And now there are two monster dorks in my brain. Lemme know if you all are interested in a fully rendered version of Fitz and Laois geeking out together!

Pointing this painting out to a friend and she was like "what would their kid look like?" I had to draw it. Love how the colors came out on this character ❤ Of course Fitz is gonna have a field day talking to this creature! What do you call a mermaid + centaur? A Hippocampitaur? (Mix of hippocamp (horse + fish) and taur????)

I need a German word for the blood-chilling feeling of being a clerk/service worker, seeing a friend post a pic on socials of a hangout, and they’re having a fun outing with THE WORST customer you’ve ever had. Like the End Boss Karen of your entire career, a person with zero empathy and 100% entitlement, who immediately began swearing and leveling threats the instant you gently implied they might not be able to get everything they want.

This whole comic is a combination of two separate pep talks I got early on from a friend and my sister telling me the same thing. For every artist, voice actor, cosplay creator, writer, and creator, do not undersell yourself. Your skills and time are worth getting paid for. And for every person looking to commission a creator, if their prices are too high or you can't afford their art, that's ok. But there are many reasons why they charge for their work. Like everyone else, we gotta make a living. These lil turtles are just the cutest and I adore their familial relationship in the series 💚 So it was great to get to draw Donnie helping Mikey with a power point presentation/pep talk.

Shadow the hedgehog is incredibly silly.
Rouge: Can you please come to Sonic's birthday party this year?
Shadow: no he's dumb and stupid and annoying and I hate him.
Rouge: ...Woah look over there? Is that Sonic sacrificing himself to save the world at his birthday party again?
Shadow: WHERE?! rushes off to save Sonic and/or tell him he's stupid
Shadow at the party: I hate you
Rouge and Sonic: yeah keep telling yourself that buddy.
