Creditworthiness therefore forms a central cog in the wheel of the financial system, having a bearing on issues such as credit extensions and borrowing costs. It is evaluated by credit reports and credit ratings that are issued by the credit rating agencies. For instance, credit rating agencies use these assessments to measure credit risk and financial stability of companies, governments, and agencies that issue bonds and shares. Financial experts and business coaches stress the following challenges and criticisms, emphasizing the need for accountability and transparency of credit rating agencies. It is possible to contribute to the development of improved credit sustainability with the help of this concept, which will make the decision-making process better for borrowers and lenders and therefore strengthen the financial system in general.

So based on the interview going around twitter, the whole semi plot was phoebe's idea of a common MIL fantasy of your DIL loving and craving your approval? But the actual execution... yikes. it seems more like something Ted Bundy would dream. Like it was just the wish-fullfillment that the person who has been indifferent to you for years, hurting your feelings, is actually deeply obsessively in love with you! Then you get to be the cold and indifferent one to hurt them back.
P U T A N G I N A M O K A
*pinches my nose bridge* not you, anon. who deigned that psycho interview-worthy? get help asap
do click on that db write-up i linked, before you proceed please and thank you
flinched as soon as i saw @suika28 tweet that about 30 (?) minutes before the finale aired. that's me who admittedly has known her WILD history. the nerve to admit queerbaiting:
“they don’t have mutual liking of each other but rather, the mother-in-law hates the daughter-in-law’s affections. […] the homosexual story didn’t develop, don’t worry.”
i guess that's the one consistency im sunghan has. she does not care.
after all, when the production was still <durian fairy>, streets were saying it's a romance between the two and she put out a statement definitely disavowing that. the third teaser came out and, well, the seas parted; the sun was rising in the west! in a stilted ensemble, jang semi was the only one consistently getting to show development... and by that, i meant baek doyi was considering her confession every waking moment.
despite south korea being its usual meninist self, ~the couple with the epic love story~ from my perspective was thriving. such unconventional yet ardent affection resonating with its found audience. garnering international attention & support for the actresses who are both generous with the fanservice. fun times.
then, the nightmare aka the second half came out to be.
Tumblr media
you already said it, doyi's tragedy / comphet heel turn 'twas all to hurt [semi] back. to insult decades of feeling unlovable. i'll walk it off, eventually, but that nasty backhand might as well be directed at me.
to be clear: i do not blame the characters, they were used as mouthpiece - puppets to im sunghan's innate, did-not-even-have-to-think-about-twice hatred of not just lesbians but women in general. nor do i blame the leads, they've evidently shown more enthusiasm to go beyond for semidoyi; how could they have foreseen the first half was just a sick dare?
makjangs are Not the place to go to if one wants some moralizing from a kdrama but who thinks funding sweeping harmful generalizations is all okay???????

Fuck guilt "activism" -- it makes you feel guilty for spending a penny on anything that isn't going towards a specific cause. Food? Guilt. It could go to children. Decent toilet paper? Guilt. Pizza? Guilt. Pet necessities? Guilt. Saving up for a necessary surgery? Guilt.
Making people feel guilty about shit does not an activist make. You can do great shit for important causes while also not making people feel guilty for existing.

Ok so i saw a post mentioning how Spindlehorse was hiring animators again, and i thought "huh yknow im really curious what the turnover rate of animators is in this studio" because i mean its a genuine question considering how i swear theyre hiring new animators every other week
So then i checked IMDB...
Tumblr media
Before i go on i wanna put some context because its kinda needed for what im about to say:
On IMDB there's a section of the cast and crew page labeled "Series Animation Department". This is the section meant primarily for animators and storyboarders among other jobs in the same vein.
Now. Can you guess how many animators/storyboarders Helluva Boss has gone through in less than 2 seasons?
444.
That is four hundred and forty-four individual credits, a majority of whom didn't stay for any longer than a few episodes. I have never in my life seen an animator turnover rate this skewed.
But i saw this and i went "well it cant be that bad right, what about other shows?" because admittedly i didnt know a lot about animation so for all i knew this was normal. So i went to the IMDB pages of other animated shows
RWBY: 164 credited animators over 9 seasons
Murder Drones: 11 Animators over 7 episodes
The Owl House: 88 Animators over 3 seasons
Amphibia: 73 over 3 seasons
Steven Universe: 44 over 5 seasons
And just to be fair let's include Hazbin Hotel, which had 62 in 1 season
This means that for one reason or another Helluva Boss has gone through more animators in less than 2 seasons than shows that ran for SIGNIFICANTLY longer go through in their entire lifespan by several times and that astounds me

What is a Car Loan?
What is a Car Loan? Certainly! Car loans are a common way for people to finance the purchase of a vehicle. Here’s a brief overview: What is a Car Loan?: A car loan is a type of loan specifically designed for purchasing a vehicle. The economic indicators speak of nothing less than an economic catastrophe. Over 46,000 businesses have gone bankrupt, tourism has stopped, Israel’s credit rating was lowered, Israeli bonds are sold at the prices of almost “junk bonds” levels, and the foreign investments that have already dropped by 60% in the first quarter of 2023 (as a result of the policies of Israel’s far-right government before October 7) show no prospects of recovery. The majority of the money invested in Israeli investment funds was diverted to investments abroad because Israelis do not want their own pension funds and insurance funds or their own savings to be tied to the fate of the State of Israel. This has caused a surprising stability in the Israeli stock market because funds invested in foreign stocks and bonds generated profit in foreign currency, which was multiplied by the rise in the exchange rate between foreign currencies and the Israeli Shekel. But then Intel scuttled a $25 billion investment plan in Israel, the biggest BDS victory ever.  These are all financial indicators. But the crisis strikes deeper at the means of production of the Israeli economy. Israel’s power grid, which has largely switched to natural gas, still depends on coal to supply demand. The biggest supplier of coal to Israel is Colombia, which announced that it would suspend coal shipments to Israel as long as the genocide was ongoing. After Colombia, the next two biggest suppliers are South Africa and Russia. Without reliable and continuous electricity, Israel will no longer be able to pretend to be a developed economy. Server farms do not work without 24-hour power, and no one knows how many blackouts the Israeli high-tech sector could potentially survive. International tech companies have already started closing their branches in Israel. Israel’s reputation as a “startup nation” depends on its tech sector, which in turn depends on highly educated employees. Israeli academics report that joint research with universities abroad has declined sharply thanks to the efforts of student encampments. Israeli newspapers are full of articles about the exodus of educated Israelis. Prof. Dan Ben David, a famous economist, argued that the Israeli economy is held together by 300,000 people (the senior staff in universities, tech companies, and hospitals). Once a significant portion of these people leaves, he says, “We won’t become a third world country, we just won’t be anymore.”
