Headcanon that Eddie has surprisingly good hand-eye coordination so that even if he doesn’t like sports or participate in any, if he gets dragged into a game of some kind he manages to do okay.

The kids learn this at a pool party when Dustin throws a nerf football at him and Eddie catches it then throws it back to hit Dustin square in this forehead. They all lose their minds over how he did that and Steve is just in awe.

Robin teases Steve mercilessly about jock mating rituals later because somehow Eddie throwing a football impressed him more than anything else.
