I think it’s so interesting when commentary YouTubers make that joke like “guys I know what you’re thinking, sorry for making a video about (x) topic but I just have to talk about this” bc like, in the most respectful way possible I do not give a flying fuck what my fav commentary YouTubers are actually talking about. You think I watch Danny Gonzalez’s videos about Disney channel movies because I *need* to know what he thinks about Lemonade Mouth? No, I watch because he’s funny as fuck and it’s nice to hear someone make jokes about a bunch of different current topics. Who hurt these commentary YouTubers and made them think they have to apologize for talking about certain topics lol

The Cody Ko Allegations: It was a CRIME

Cody Ko has been accused of committing statutory rape against Tana Mongeau. These allegations have been around for years, but he he, his friends, and his subreddit have repeatedly covered them up. I would recommend D'Angelo Wallace's video on the topic.

Not only has Tana's story stayed consistent, but also, she has a WITNESS. Gabbie Hanna saw what was happening and tried to stop Cody, but he continued anyway.

Gabbie has been seen on video telling the EXACT SAME STORY.

The idea that if you lose good will in the eyes of the public that it doesn't matter what happens to you... it's terrifying. People will do ANYTHING to demand a perfect victim.

It doesn't matter if you don't like Tana or Gabbie. IT WAS A CRIME

Cody's fans have taken two different approaches:

1, insulting Tana in pretty much anyway you can imagine/saying that if Tana is fine, then why should we care

2, demanding a response from Cody. Since Cody has been vigilant with his comment moderation, his fans have moved to his wife's channel to demand an answer.

I watched this guy talk about a series of movies that I have no interest in for an entire hour. I watched him go on a rant about the handling of a character I had never heard of in the remake of a game I had never played. It was still entertaining because it was genuine, because viewers feed off passionate, because this guy only seems to talk about things he likes even if those things have nothing to do with his channel. I could listen to him rant for hours about literally anything as long as he felt strongly about it, or at least seemed like it and honestly I don’t think that power is exclusive to Pastra

if you are passionate about something and you want to talk about it, do it in front of a camera and show me the video I will watch it while I draw. Who knows maybe I’ll even know what your talking about once in a blue moon.
