HOW TO GLOW ;
♡ prioritize hydration
♡ sleep 8-12 hours of sleep a night
a hot tip...from me to you, in the morning as soon as u wake up have a glass of lukewarm water and before bed drink a cup of spearmint/peppermint tea. also another good drink for skincare is chlorophyll. i drink a 16oz of chlorophyll a day or sometimes i'll just have a little chlorophyll shot and its good for ur skin…💬🎀

Bath Routine 🫧🛁✨
1. I dim the lights, light candles & play classical music. If candles aren’t available, I use an oil diffuser with lavender or eucalyptus scents.
2. I add Epsom salts, milk powder, a few drops of nourishing oils like rosehip, argan, or jojoba. I also like to add dried rose petals for a soothing touch. If I want to detox, I add charcoal and bentonite clay.
3. I shower before my bath to cleanse my body of dirt, oils, sweat. I will use a shower oil during this step to hydrate, cleanse and exfoliate (will do separate post for everything shower).
Pre bath routine:
4. I dry brush to stimulate circulation.
5. I wash my face and remove makeup if applicable. I then use a face steamer for about 5 minutes to open my pores.
6. I apply my favorite face mask (either DIY or store bought) before stepping into the bath (will do a separate post on this).
In the bath:
7. While in the bath, I lightly use exfoliating gloves or a scrub to exfoliate my body.
8. I massage my face with ice globes to reduce puffiness and stimulate circulation.
9. I sip on tea, a magnesium cocktail, or infused water.
Post bath routine:
10. After my bath, I wash off my face mask and apply toner to close my pores.
11. I apply my favorite serums to hydrate and nourish my skin. After applying serums, I use a jade or rose quartz facial roller to help the products absorb better and promote lymphatic drainage.
12. I apply body oil or lotion all over my body to lock in moisture & keep my skin soft.
13. I apply a nourishing hand and nail treatment to hydrate my hands, cuticles and nails.
14. I brush my hair if I didn’t wash it (separate post on this coming soon).
15. I apply my favorite perfume to feel extra luxurious.
16. I put on a silk robe to complete my relaxing routine.
17. After my skincare routine, I use my LED mask. Your skin is more receptive to hydration after cleansing & applying serums & the mask enhances absorption of active ingredients like hyaluronic acid, peptides, or Vitamin C. It also stimulates collagen production & skin repair.
18. After using the LED mask, I apply a moisturizer to lock in hydration.
Then continue on with my night time routine.

Fukuzawa and Mori with a S/O who is really into skincare.(Separate)
TW: None
Genre: Fluff
Tumblr media
Mori
That man is an ex-doctor so he knows what ingredients work with what skin type.
He will take you to the best of the best aesthetic clinics.
If he doesn't know or has no time for skincare shopping, he will ask Kouyou to take you.
He will buy every gift set from every luxury brand for you to find out which brand works better until you've found the best one.
He will stare at you whenever you apply skincare or makeup until you ask " What's wrong with you?"
I doubt he used his own skincare but after seeing you're too stunning and elegant after the usage of skincares, he will want to use them too.
Of course, he will sneak your facial mask and put on his face telling how the facial masks are so relaxing
His favorite will be green tea with calming effect and collagen since he's in his 40
( He's getting older and he doesn't want people age shaming him in his back)🤣
At night, he and his S/O put on facial masks , lie down on the couch and have some quality time.
Tumblr media
Fukuzawa
Unlike Mori, this man only knows shower gel, shampoo and deodorant.
He always sees his s/o applying so much liquid and oil on her face but he never knows what those are.
One day, his S/O ran for groceries and he's alone in the house, that's when he let his instructive thoughts win.
He rushed to the bedroom, picking up the pretty bottle one by one, smelling them one by one.
Finally, he decided to apply them on his face. Don't worry, he has seen you doing it every day so at least, he remembered the routine.
You came back and saw your husband sitting on the chair with a book.
( Something's wrong with him ) You thought quietly and stared at him for 2 or 3 minutes.
And then, you giggled.
"You used mine right? "
Fukuzawa didn't answer but his tomato face admitted what he did. You decided you should gife your husband.
Next day,You gifted him with a set of skincare which was released especially for middle aged men.
Now, you're even jealous of him because being 20 years younger than him, his skin is now better than yours , glowing and glowing.

have you ever got any cosmetic work done (surgical/non-surgical)? what is your beauty maintenance routine? what are some stuff that wealthier ppl know about that most don’t regarding beauty/skin/hair/hygiene/diet/fitness? sorry it’s so many questions. i love your blog so much btw I’ve learned a lot from you :)🩷
nope, never had surgery or anything too invasive. I really don’t need it haha, losing weight, fixing my skin and growing my hair out did wonders for me. I’ve had collagen pumped into my skin for some acne scars I had but that was a useless procedure, this is back when I was 18. I’ve done exilis and em sculpt which I’ve mentioned below, I’ve gotten laser done (useless), I had IVs for semaglutide (useless). I think that’s about it.
beauty maintenance routine:
wax every 1.5 months
thread and wax my face every Sunday
face masks 2x week
hair mask 1 x week
high frequency if I feel like my skin needs a push (I have a wand at home)
gel polish every month
minoxidil for hair growth
I FaceTime my dermat once a month or once in two months
things that wealthy people do that normally people don’t know about… the problem is that everything is public these days. Any Jane can get filler and collagen therapy now and in certain elitist families, there is a sense of disdain about that. Beauty is a competition, it’s a very hush hush business and most try to be as discreet as possible.
I’ve seen lots of nose jobs and chin jobs that these younger girls get done in their late teens or early 20s to improve their prospects for fame (very common in the entertainment families). But with legacy family businesses, among the older women, it will be one of two extremes- a horrible face lift and smudged make up or all natural face yoga and black magic that they swear by. Baby Botox is also huge with the younger wives but they never get it done in India, they always go to LA/ NYC / and absolute worst case Dubai. You really cannot afford to be 35 and botched. The reality is that with huge legacy families what you don’t have is time. Time for recovery I mean, because for those few months you cannot be seen publicly. For most families this is impossible- there are constant engagements, philanthropic activities (PR), weddings and parties to attend - so whatever they get done, they ensure that the down time is very very short. That’s also why most of them have consistent “natural” wellness routines like getting massages weekly. emsculpt and exilis are a big secret (I’ve done both). I’m writing a blog post about it in real time. Downtime is zero. A lot of women also get exilis done for their vaginas to make it tighter.
I have cousins who have MUAs on a retainer basis. Regardless of how big or small the event is, they ensure that they’re looking glam at all times if they’re going to be socialising. I personally think that’s insane and I’m very good at my beating my face so I never resorted to doing this for every occasion but yes this is common.
diet - I’ll be honest, most girls will very rarely touch food. If we’re going out for dinner we normally go for Japanese because it’s a little lighter. They smoke/ vape a lot which in turn suppresses appetite.
what I plan to get done soon:
acne scar treatment (I have very slight scarring only on one cheek because I sleep on my side)
hydrafacial
ultrasound for double chin (I don’t have a crazy double chin but I do want my face to be a little more snatched without fillers and Botox)
Things I know I will get done at some point:
PRP facials
micro needling
emsculpt again (like before my wedding whenever that happens)
Botox just in between my eyebrows because I frown when I’m listening
some treatment for my laugh lines at some point in my life
tbh the best beauty tip I can give you is start working out young. I’ve seen so many women not go back to their pre-baby weight, struggle with their health which inevitably fucks with your appearance, and try all sorts of stupid things when they could literally just start working out and watch their body transform in a few months.
also, don’t get fillers done impulsively. It looks ridiculous unless you have the right doc and 8/10 times you don’t. try to stick to your ethnicity as much as possible. As an Indian, the closest inspo for me is Middle Eastern because I have similar features (full brows, full lips and big eyes). But if I try getting Korean style plastic surgery I’m going to look daft.

My latest inebriated HC is that Bosmer pioneered the use of snail mucin in skincare, but for some obvious and unsurprising reason the Altmer get all the credit.
In Summerset, refreshing cold cucumber and snail facials are all the rage. The Bosmer prefer letting the snails do their thing on a rock or something and scrape the trails of mucin into jars, mixing them with honey and animal fat to make a deeply moisturising face cream. For face masks, the mucin cream is mixed with a bit of cold yoghurt and charcoal, and applied with a jade roller.
Most other races find snail skincare to be kinda gross. The Bretons in particular don't know why you're letting live food slide across your face, but they can't talk with their calf collagen skincare routine. ~Tal

干性皮肤 要注意补水、补油、防晒、防止损伤、补充胶原蛋白. Dry skin Pay attention to moisturizing, supplementing oil, SPF, preventing loss, supplementing collagen. 中性皮肤 算是比较完美的肤质,要注意防止损伤,保持现有状态
Normal skin Considered a rather perfect skin type, you need to pay attention to preventing loss, maintain your current skin status.
油性皮肤 注意清洁、控油、补充水分和保湿
Oily skin Pay attention to cleansing, oil control, moisturizing and hydrating. 混合性皮肤 根据不同肤质区域分开护理,T区注意控油,V区注意补水保湿和防止损伤. Combination skin Treat combination skin according to different skin areas separately, pay attention to oil control within your T-zone, pay attention to hydrating and moisturizing and preventing loss in your V-zone.
Sensitive skin (not irritated/allergic reaction skin) Since this skin type doesn't hold water well, the skin barrier is damaged, thus you should pay attention to repairing, anti-inflammation, preventing various irritants and losses, as well as sun damage during skincare. It is recommended that you use gentle and non-irritating products that have soothing ingredients (vitamin E, ceramide etc.)
不化妆也要每天卸妆 -> even if you don't put on make-up, you still need to use make-up remover/oil cleanser everyday
千万不要用任何含有酒精的护肤品 -> under no circumstances use any skincare products containing alcohol
爽肤水主要作用是对皮肤二次清洁 -> the main function of toner is to double-cleanse your skin
敷面膜刺痛是因为皮肤缺水 -> the pain/tingling from applying face masks is due to your skin lacking moisture
洗澡时毛孔扩张,污垢更容易深入毛孔将其撑大 -> when you bathe, your pore enlarge, pollutants and more can easily penetrate through your pores which can stretch your pores
收敛水可以收毛孔 -> astringent can reduce pores
衰老是从25岁才开始 -> aging starts at age 25
涂眼霜长脂肪粒是因为太油 -> developing milia from applying eye cream is due to excessive amounts of oil
护肤品分男女 -> skincare products are gender-separate

In the present world, where people rely greatly on external appearances, it is all too easy to overlook that true beauty starts from within. It is important to nourish your body from the inside to promote a natural glow and well-being. As a result, you must choose antioxidant supplements that use natural extracts to alleviate your oxidative stress and support your inner glow.

You have such a nice complexion! Are you one of those people who can wash their face with a sock and still have great skin? Or do you have a skincare routine?
thanks!! i am wearing face makeup in that pic. my skin is actually not so nice bc i have sensitive skin, ingrown facial hairs, adult acne & hyperpigmentation scars from picking my skin :p
i do have a skincare routine, i hate those people because i’m jealous lol
ideally twice but typically once daily i use Tatcha Rice Wash cleanser (sometimes double cleanse with any oil cleanser then follow up w Tatcha), CosRx snail mucin 96 pct Power Essence and Cerave daily moisturizer :)
when my skin is dry i also like to use The Ordinary’s plant derived squalene & cold pressed rose hip seed oil. i do a clay pore cleansing mask and a retinol+collagen under eye mask once or twice a month. it’s also important to wear sunscreen every day but i slack on that sometimes lol
and for lips i LOVE the Marin Skincare blueberry french toast scented lip treatment

Achieving a Radiant Complexion: A Simple Nighttime Skincare Regimen
In our fast-paced lives, it's easy to overlook the significance of a proper nighttime skincare routine. However, dedicating a few minutes before bedtime can make a world of difference in achieving healthy, glowing skin. Let's delve into a straightforward nighttime skincare routine that will leave you feeling pampered and your skin revitalized!
Tumblr media
Cleanse: The First Step to Radiance
The foundation of any effective skincare routine is cleansing. Before heading to bed, ensure your face is free from makeup, dirt, and pollutants that have accumulated throughout the day. Opt for a gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type. Gently massage it onto your face using circular motions, focusing on areas prone to oiliness or dryness. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water to preserve essential oils.
Recommendations:
Aprilskin Carrotene IPMP™ Hydromelt Cleansing Balm
JUNO & Co. Clean 10 Cleansing Balm 10 Ingredients Makeup Remover
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Facial Cleanser
Exfoliate: Unveiling a Fresh Canvas
Exfoliation is essential but limit it to 2-3 times a week to avoid overdoing it. A gentle exfoliant will remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and enhance the absorption of your skincare products. Look for products with natural exfoliants like jojoba beads or alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs).
Recommendations:
SkinMedica AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant - Exfoliator
Paulas Choice--SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Salicylic Acid Exfoliant
Tone: Balancing the pH
After cleansing and exfoliating, toning comes into play. A toner helps balance the skin's pH levels and prepares it for better absorption of serums and moisturizers. Choose alcohol-free toners with soothing ingredients like rose water, chamomile, or witch hazel.
Recommendations:
PCA SKIN Nutrient Face Toner
THAYERS Alcohol-Free, Hydrating Lavender Witch Hazel Facial Toner
SOME BY MI AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner
Serum: Targeted Treatments
Serums are packed with potent ingredients that target specific skin concerns. Whether it's fine lines, hyperpigmentation, or dehydration, serums offer a concentrated boost of active ingredients. Gently apply a small amount to your face and neck, letting the serum work its magic overnight.
Recommendations:
COSRX Snail Mucin 96% Power Repairing Essence
Paula's Choice CLINICAL 1% Retinol Treatment
Derma ProGenix Advanced Anti-Aging Skin Care Serum
Eye Cream: Soothing and Refreshing
The delicate skin around the eyes requires special attention. Apply a nourishing eye cream to help reduce puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines. Use your ring finger to dab a pea-sized amount around the orbital bone gently.
Recommendations:
IMAGE Skincare, VITAL C Hydrating Eye Recovery Gel
Dongyu 5% Caffeine Eye Serum and Under Eye Roller Cream
QOI Dark Circle Eliminator
Hydrate: Locking in Moisture
Moisturizing is crucial to keep your skin hydrated and plump. Select a night cream or moisturizer that suits your skin type, whether it's gel-based for oily skin or thicker for dry skin. Massage it into your skin using upward strokes to promote better circulation.
Recommendations:
COSRX Snail Mucin 92% Moisturizer
Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance
PCA SKIN Collagen Hydrator Night Cream
Lip Care: Soft and Supple Lips
Don't forget to show your lips some love! Apply a nourishing lip balm or treatment to keep your lips soft and supple throughout the night.
Recommendation:
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask
Overnight Mask or Face Oil: Nourishing and Repairing
For an extra boost of nourishment, consider using an overnight mask or face oil. These products provide intense hydration and repair your skin as you sleep, waking up to a fresh and revitalized complexion.
Hands and Feet: Extending Skincare Love
If you have a few extra minutes, pamper your hands and feet as well. Moisturize them with a rich cream and put on cotton gloves and socks before sleep, allowing the products to deeply penetrate and hydrate the skin.
Recommendations:
Paula's Choice Radiance Renewal Night Mask
LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask
Beauty Sleep: The Ultimate Secret
Finally, the most essential part of any nighttime skincare routine is a good night's sleep. Aim for 7-9 hours of uninterrupted rest to give your skin and body the time they need to repair and rejuvenate.
Remember, Consistency is Key!
The true magic of any skincare routine lies in consistency. Don't expect overnight miracles; instead, practice this easy nighttime skincare routine regularly and patiently, and you'll soon notice a radiant and healthy complexion that makes the effort entirely worthwhile.
So, go ahead and treat yourself to a little nightly skincare ritual – your skin will thank you for it!
P.S Highlighted are my personal favs

Skincare applied. Flash ON 🙋🏻‍♀️
