Closed Comedones | NEODERMA
If you want to learn about closed comedones? Closed comedones, also known as whiteheads, are a type of acne that forms when dead skin cells, oil, and bacteria become trapped in hair follicles. Unlike open comedones (blackheads), closed comedones have a thin layer of skin covering them, making them appear as small, white or flesh-colored bumps. Effective treatment usually involves gentle exfoliation, maintaining a consistent skincare routine, and using products that contain ingredients like salicylic acid or retinoids to help unclog pores and prevent future breakouts. First Impressions: After the terrible week I'd had with my skin on tretinoin, I purchased the Laneige Cream Skin online on Sephora on the night of April 3rd. It may be one of the fastest purchases I've ever made. On simplifying my skincare routine on tret, I was getting sick of the lack of skincare I owned that I could use in my morning regime. I knew I'd seen this bottle on the internet every so often and I was fascinated with the toner + moisturizer concept (along with the minimalist beauty of a packaging) but I mainly purchased it to use as a toner in the mornings (but the added moisturizing benefits don't hurt either). It's pricier than what I usually go for, but I knew I just had to get something that I could incorporate in the mornings and has great reviews.
Usage So Far: I started using it since the day of its delivery, April 5th, after I got home from work and dinner and washed off my makeup. I use it in the morning after dampening my face with my Avene Spring Water. I find for water-based products, it's easier to spread it on a wet face. I wash my face every time I return home from the outdoors and I've been stepping out quite a bit since this arrived, so I've been using it a multiple times a day. Loving it so far. I'll write a detailed review once I finished the bottle.

HELLO <D HOW ARE YOU?? i wanted to ask you how the uchihas would react if the reader wanted to be taking care of their skin etc.?? (basically, giving him a skincare routine)
take care of yourself!! <3
new HC revealed: Indra has sun freckles🤗💫
take care of yourself too, darling!!
Tumblr media
Indra
- To be completely honest, Indra doesn't need it. He's the type of person who washes his face with a brick and has flawless skin just the same. The suggestion of a skincare routine is strange, he doesn't understand it, but he assumes it's about all those products (Y/N) puts on every night and morning. He lends himself to it just to see if it makes a difference or if it's all bullshit, and is strangely fascinated by the glow of his skin once all the products are absorbed. His brown freckles glow like never before.
Madara
- What is that? Madara doesn't have good skin, often dealing with excessive oiliness and some closed comedones that provide a stubborn texture to his face, conditions that gave him self-consciousness all his adolescence and that he thought would be with him all his life, eventually getting used to it. When (Y/N) explains his task and proposes to treat his skin condition, he accepts with secret excitement for his texture to finally be fixed, and after months of diligent cleansing and repairing the skin barrier, he is a new man.
Izuna
- Love... LOVE! Izuna has been in the skincare game for years, with lots of practice and countless products tested by his own face. Of course, he ruined his face a million times with different creams, learned the hard way to use retinoids, and the terrible importance of sunscreen, having already identified which products cause an acne outbreak and which do not. He is the one who ends up giving (Y/N) indications and putting together a routine for her, improving some aspects of it, and providing her with a necessary update for better results.
Obito
- The idea excites him, but with the false hope that some of these products will help him with his scars. Obito doesn't have the slightest idea about skincare, and after receiving those iconic marks on his face, no one explained to him how he should treat them. (Y/N), in the face of his illusion, does her best to find something with the effect he's hoping for, but no product is magic and no cream erases what life decides to do. His skin improves, considerably, and he is so excited to see certain changes he even starts to inquire about procedures to treat his face.
Shisui
- Whatever. Another Uchiha who has perfect skin without making any effort, and hell he has a wonderful complexion. His own mother tried to introduce him to the world of personal care as a child, and seeing (Y/N) trying to do the same makes him nostalgic and tender. He will allow her to take care of his skin just to make her happy, but sees no results when she's done with the routine, and almost always forgets to implement it himself, not allowing the products to do anything for him.
Itachi
- Indeed, wonderful. Itachi went through so much at such a young age that he looks like a forty-year-old man at 25, a terrible insult to a face as beautiful as his. The expression marks under his eyes don't bother him but he doesn't like them either, and if something can be done about it he would love it. The signs of stress are terribly noticeable, not grossly explicit but striking, dull skin and rudely black circles under his eyes. (Y/N) takes it upon her shoulders to improve her complexion and bring his battered skin back to life, and once they find a suitable routine, Itachi won't budge from his products even with a judge's order.

About Volt a little
In general, Volt is an ordinary friendly guy, but because of the "injury" he is a little twitchy, which makes it seem that he has ADHD
His name is Blythe(Blithe)
He does not dye his hair roots because he thinks that with completely blond hair he looks bald.
He knows everyone by sight but not by name.
In any case, he will always help(or try to) the preppies.
He has a lot of closed comedones.
In fact, he's just jealous of the jocks, which is why he doesn't like them.

day 1~
here's what I accomplished today:
╰(*´︶`*)╯
I tried {and intend to continue to use} a tumeric face mask- receipe is legit just tumeric, Nido powder {lactic acid} & honey!! I'm using this with the goal of clearing my skin: hyperpigmentation, closed comedones & scars.
I have drank 1l of water today!!!
I've tried hard in most if not all of my subjects { I was slightly tired in maths as it was last period}
walked over 8k steps {I usually walk during the week days to school and back, 20-25mins, which is 10k by itself but I got dropped off this morning o((*^▽^*))o }
I oiled my scalp with a mix of rosemary oil and blue magic bergamot conditioner {iykyk}
I did a facial massage using my gua sha and facial roller
I slugged my face using vaseline
\(^o^)/
read more of the book I'm reading- 'the blood divide' {it's pretty good 💞}
drew some of my art work for school !!
finally had some hot cocoa <33
that's all for day 1. I believe that I've been pretty productive today and that tomorrow I'll be even better!! remember to stay motivated and remind yourself of your goals 💋 keep on slaying~

What is your skincare routine?
hi lovely, im so giddy at the fact that you asked this ! :,)
first let me tell you my skin concerns as of lately; closed comedones ( this has been for more then a year now, & im doing everything i can to get rid of them it’s caused scarring because i pick my face unfortunately :/ ) i also have very dry skin, some discoloration due to veins etc.
but the routine;
1. i wash with cerave salicylic acid face wash (to help with the close comedones but i can’t rly tell the difference takes time tho i’m just impatient)
2. then i use thayers hydrating coconut toner
3. i use like four different serums, all applied in this particular order. good molecules discoloration serum, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and mandelic acid— all by the ordinary
4. cetaphil dry to normal moisturizer
5. guasha— 10x on either side of jaw, 30x in total on cheek bones (very extreme ik, but they’re all different techniques)
6. facial spray 3x, mario badescu (don’t get this, i use it cause i have it but it literally does nothing for my skin lmao) & i use a face globe from tarte to help mix everything together once more.
7. more moisturizer, bc i have dry skin and used three different acids. inkey list moisturizer vitamin b,c, & d with inkey list hyaluronic acid serum ( for hydration best if used on wet skin)
8. eye cream, i have one by burt’s bees and from the brand strum that i’ve been alternating b/w
9. and sometimes i’ll use a hydrating primer on top of everything to give my skin extra glow!
ik this is a bit much compared to a simple routine, but it’s what i’ve been doing <3

How to Treat Closed Comedones? – NEODERMA Closed comedones, aka whiteheads, occurs when dead skin cells and oil block pores. Here are your top options for treating them: (1) OTC treatments for acne—over-the-counter acne products can speed up the shedding of dead skin cells, which can help keep pores from getting clogged. (2) See a dermatologist or consult a beauty expert—if you have a lot of closed comedones, you may want to see a professional for prescription medication and consultation. (3) Extractions by a professional—although extractions do not prevent comedones from forming, they can make them less noticeable. Don't try to pop or squeeze them on your own, as it will only cause irritation and inflammation.

UNDERSTANDING ACNE: TYPES, CAUSES, AND SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT
INTRODUCTION :
Millions of people throughout the world suffer with acne, a prevalent skin problem. Acne can last far into maturity, despite the fact that it’s frequently linked to puberty. The definition of acne, its numerous kinds, underlying causes, symptoms, variables influencing its prevalence, and successful treatments are all covered in this in-depth medical article. Let’s investigate this skin issue.
Tumblr media
DEFINITION OF ACNE :
Acne, medically known as acne vulgaris, is a chronic skin disorder primarily characterized by the development of pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and, in more severe cases, cysts and nodules. It occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells, leading to inflammation and the formation of blemishes.
TYPE OF ACNE :
Comedonal Acne: This type includes non-inflammatory acne with the formation of comedones, such as blackheads and whiteheads.
Inflammatory Acne: Characterized by redness, swelling, and pus-filled pimples, it includes papules and pustules.
Cystic Acne: The most severe form, cystic acne results in painful, deep-seated cysts and nodules that often leave scars.
CAUSES OF ACNE :
Acne is caused by a number of factors, including:
Sebum Overproduction : Sebum, or skin oil, overproduction can clog pores.
Bacterial : Growth: Bacteria such as Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) thrive in congested follicles.
Inflammation : The development of lesions is influenced by irritation and inflammation of the hair follicles.
Hormonal Fluctuations : Sebum production can be induced by hormonal fluctuations, which are frequently experienced during adolescence, pregnancy, and menstruation.
Diet : For certain people, dairy products and high-glycemic diets might make acne worse.
Genetics : A history of acne in the family may make someone more susceptible.
COMMON SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF ACNE INCLUDE :
· Open comedones (blackheads)
· Closed comedones known as whiteheads
· Papules (tiny, crimson lumps)
· pustules (lesions filled with pus)
· Cysts (huge, uncomfortable tumors filled with pus)
· Nodules (agonizing, hard bumps)
· Redness and swelling
WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE MORE EXPOSED TO ACNE THAN OTHERS?
The following elements affect each person’s susceptibility :
· The influence of genetic predisposition is substantial.
· The production of sebum may increase as a result of hormonal changes.
· Humidity and pollution are two environmental elements that may aggravate acne.
· Diet, especially items high in glycemic index and dairy, can affect how severe it is.
· Acne formation may be influenced by skin care practices and product selection.
FOODS THAT CAN AGGRAVATE ACNE INCLUDE :
Foods with a high glycemic index : such as white bread, sugary cereals, and processed snacks, can cause blood sugar levels to jump, which in turn causes an increase in sebum production and inflammation.
Dairy Products : Some research indicate a connection between dairy consumption and acne, particularly skim milk. Dairy consumption can worsen skin conditions and affect hormonal changes.
Foods that are fried or greasy : By stimulating the production of more oil, fried foods like French fries and fried chicken can exacerbate acne.
Chocolate : Although the connection between chocolate and acne is not entirely known, some people may discover that consuming too much of it makes their skin problem worse.
Candy, soda, and sweet desserts can cause blood sugar to surge and may be a factor in acne flare-ups.
FOODS THAT MAY HELP WITH ACNE:
Fruits and veggies : Eating a diet high in fruits and vegetables can help lower inflammation and improve general skin health by supplying antioxidants.
Fatty fish : Omega-3 fatty acids, which are present in salmon, mackerel, and sardines, have anti-inflammatory effects and may be good for the skin.
Nuts and Seeds : Vital elements like zinc and vitamin E, which are crucial for the health of the skin, may be found in almonds, walnuts, and flaxseeds.
Whole Grains : To help regulate blood sugar levels, choose whole grains such brown rice, quinoa, and whole wheat bread over processed grains.
Green Tea : Green tea is high in antioxidants and has been linked in several studies to better skin health.
Probiotics : By enhancing gut health, the probiotics in fermented foods like yogurt and kefir may also benefit skin.
Keep in mind that every person will experience food’s effects on acne differently. It’s crucial to pay attention to how your diet affects your skin and consult a dermatologist or healthcare provider for personalized dietary advice and acne management.
TYPES OF ACNE MEDICATIONS:
Topical retinoids: These derivatives of vitamin A help in pore cleaning and inflammation reduction.
Topical antibiotics: Creams or gels with antibiotics can kill P. acnes bacteria.
Oral antibiotics: To treat severe cases of inflammation, doctors may prescribe oral antibiotics.
Oral contraceptives: Hormonal birth control helps control fluctuations in hormone levels.
Isotretinoin (Accutane): This medication lowers sebum production and is only used in severe, treatment-resistant conditions.
CONCLUSION :
Finally, understanding the description, types, causes, symptoms, and treatment options for acne is critical for effectively treating this widespread skin problem. Even though genetics and hormonal factors might contribute, acne can be effectively managed and treated with the right skincare, a healthy diet, and medication. Consult a dermatologist if you have severe or persistent acne for individualized advice and treatment choices catered to your unique requirements.
We hope to help anyone looking to effectively treat acne by addressing all of these significant aspects of this condition.

no bc fuck why do we have the same skin type 😩😭 i get blackheads all over my nose all the TIMEEE and whiteheads on my nose plus I used to have closed comedones too it was HORRIBLE. my skincare routine is an ickle bit more lengthy my dear but ill tell u the trick I use the simple micellar water cleanser for the entirety of my face, and then use the inkey list salicylic acid cleanser on my face on my t-zone ONLY (forehead, nose, chin) so ur skin doesn't go completely dry that u break ur skin barrier but ur exfoliating regularly to minimise the look of your pores and blackheads. Its then hyaluronic acid -> alpha arbutin -> niacinamide serums from the ordinary and then moisturising. if u want me to go in depth with mine I can but I can also make u one if u want! also do you use vitamin c for discolouration and what moisturiser do you use?
Ooo okay I’ll def put that on the list then!
I actually used vitamin c to brighten my face. My skin used to be very dull and terribly scaly before I started taking better care of my skin more. As for my moisturizer I use Buttah’s Coco Shea Revitalizing Cream

Stay Up Late? Let Your Skin Sleep First! For those who love staying up late, listen up! You might think that staying up an extra hour isn't a big deal, but actually, when we go to bed earlier, our skin enters its own sleep mode to accelerate metabolism. Missing this golden window means your skin loses the chance for efficient self-renewal and antioxidant recovery...
Tumblr media
If you're unable to sleep early, you can try YSL's Night Queen Serum. What's great about it is that it combines both renewal and antioxidant benefits. The core ingredients perfectly mimic the skin's self-repair process during sleep. The 20x concentration of cactus flower extract contains 35 types of antioxidant-active compounds, which can fully fight the damage caused by free radicals, helping to reduce yellowing in the skin overnight. The 3.4% micro-molecular complex acids gently remove old, dead skin cells to renew the skin. After using it consistently, the pores that were once large have become smaller, and the closed comedones have flattened out a lot. My face feels smoother, too!
The texture is water-oil separated, so shake it 7-8 times before applying to your face. It’s not greasy at all and feels very light and clear, making it perfect for oily skin in the summer. If you're also a night owl or often have to burn the midnight oil for work, don't hesitate—just go for YSL's Night Queen Serum!
