Fanfic recommendations where the Haruno are a shinobi clan 🌸
Hello everyone! I’d like to know if anyone knows of any Sakura Haruno-Centric/BAMF Sakura Haruno fanfiction where the story features the Haruno as a shinobi clan!
Some time ago, I read "The First Flower of Spring" by Evil Is A Relative Term (same author of "Kill Your Heroes"), and it was so amazing!!! I’m still heartbroken that she decided not to continue TFFOS 😭!
Anyway… I haven’t been able to find another interesting fanfiction with the Haruno as a shinobi clan, Sakura-Centric, and I’d love to know if any of you have any recommendations, please!
Thank you 🌸

Uchiha branches (headcanon)
Tumblr media
Musashi Uchiha, also known by the nickname Water Boy comes from the civilian branch in a farmer family and thus tends to be underestimate and mocked by his shinobi peers.
Despite his humble origin, Madara immediately saw in him an extraordinary potential. But having the leader's full attention can also be a source of stress. His expectations are higher than the moon.
More about the Water skilled Uchiha in chapter 8 : The Core of Ninjutsu. Wednesday 8th of November 2023, 10pm CET
***
Forgive me for the delay, those last weeks I wasn't in a mood for writing anything. But today at last, I can confirm that chapter 8 is released tomorrow on AO3.

I love the concept of Amaterasu's blessed. ie where people with white hair and red eyes are considered blessed by the Uchiha Clans Kami that they worship.
Would they be Kannushi & Miko? and all the different levels of shinto religious occupations.
Would they just be in charge of the Amaterasu shrines and stuff or also Tsukuyomi and Susanoo
I need to know! I need more Uchiha Clan worldbuilding.

@synthetixflora asked: Tell us more about Queen Froza, Blue. Inquiring minds want to know. 👀
Tumblr media
Ah, eager to know about Lila’s future mother-in-law?
Queen Froza is a character I cooked up while working on Arcosian lore years ago. We know so little about Freeza and Cooler’s race (they didn’t even have a name until fanon came up with Arcosians, which I prefer over Icejin and Frost Demons), that I was searching for crumbs through fan fiction stories, before deciding to try my own hand at creating lore. I never had an actual name for her until I started role-playing. I bounced between different name ideas: Aurora, Isa, and Glacia were in contention, and I almost went with Aurora, actually. But since King Cold and Cooler started with a “c”, I decided to have Froza match with Freeza by having her name start with an “f”, so Freeza wouldn’t be the odd one out. Thus: King Cold, Queen Froza, Prince Cooler, and Prince Freeza.
Queen Froza was the rightful Queen of Arcos. She was a stern, cool-headed ruler who did her best to act benevolent towards her people and did what she believed was best for them, but she was also quite flawed in that she still upheld the caste system that is slowly driving their people towards extinction and put the approval of the noble caste above the well-being of the general populace. So, she was a bit of a coward in that regard. She was also xenophobic (though softened in later years), seeing her people as the pinnacle of superiority in the universe, and never bothered to ally or trade with other planets out of that disdain. She was very prideful of her people’s heritage. I'll put more under the read more since I went way more into this than I should have.
She married Cold because she was impressed by him, not only because of his shocking level of power, but also because of his cunning and ambition in the Planet Trade Organization. He had a leadership quality that she felt would benefit her reign, and she believed that he was spreading Arcosian greatness throughout the universe by making them recognize their superiority through universal domination. He was also making their people happy by introducing them to foreign trade (which is true to a degree, but it primarily made the higher class happy, not necessarily the middle or lower class). While the marriage was practical and as a means of expanding her power, Froza had some genuine affection for Cold that was likely not reciprocated (or feigned in reciprocation). Their marriage started off cordial enough, but soured by the time Freeza was born.
Cooler is the natural born son of Froza and Cold, and was the heir presumptive for several decades. Froza was beginning to understand the flaws of her rulership, but as Cold began to amass power and favor with the nobility, Froza’s own power was beginning to dwindle and thus leaving her incapable of rectifying her mistakes. Thus, she focused heavily on preparing Cooler for leadership. While their relationship doesn’t have the typical mother-child bond, with Froza being quite cold and sparsely affectionate, she was much more attentive than Cold, who viewed Cooler as a disappointment because he wasn’t born with the mutant strength that Cold had. And Froza did genuinely love Cooler, but could never be all that soft on him as she needed him to grow into a strong leader for their people. Nonetheless, they did have passing moments where they could express their familial bond.
Now, with Freeza, though he was born between Froza and Cold, Cold saw to it that there were genetic modifications to him before he hatched from his egg. Cooler’s power had been a disappointment, and Cold didn’t want a repeat of said disappointment. So, he had Freeza’s DNA modified to closely align with his in hopes that his second born would gain his mutation (hence Toriyama's "Freeza was born from Cold alone" comment). And when Freeza finally hatched from his egg, Cold was delighted to discover that Freeza did in fact inherit his mutant power. And this led to Cold being the primary caregiver of Freeza, having him practically glued to his side and giving Froza limited opportunity to bond with her youngest son. She barely saw him, and barely knew him. This greatly fractured her relationship with Cold, who was beginning to show his true colors around her and making obvious overtures that he alone wanted the power of the throne, with the nobility backing him due to his power and favors. Froza was usurped in her own home, going from ruling Queen to Queen-Consort.
This stung Froza’s pride greatly. She began to despise Cold and was determined to regain her power. She spent years plotting to assassinate her husband and seeking out allies for a coup, while influencing Cooler to become a better ruler than both her and Cold, pushing him to look at the needs of the many rather than the few, and that he needed to make more allies than enemies, even with other alien races.
However, Froza’s coup was unsuccessful, and Cold murdered her in the throne room when she was found out. Because of her actions, she was considered damnatio memoriae, and her name was never spoken again unless it was out of disgust or a warning. At the time of her death, Cooler would have been around his 70’s (which is teenage years for Arcosians) and Freeza would have been in his 20’s-30’s (which would be around a toddler’s age for Arcosians). Cooler remembers her quite well, but Freeza has little to no memory of her, with Berryblue being his primary maternal figure. Cooler still both loves and hates her, since she was the only positive parental figure he had and did impart important lessons that he takes to heart even now, but he also despises her for being a “traitor” to their family and for leaving him alone with Cold, who would go on to replace Cooler with Freeza as his heir to not only the Arcos throne, but also to the Planet Trade Organization and Cold Empire. Inferiority complex and daddy issues ahoy.
And also, before anyone asks: yes, Froza is in hell. She wasn't a good person by any means, and did do quite a few horrible things as Queen. She may have been the lesser of two evils, but she still did evil things. Also, Froza and Cold's personal hell in the afterlife is them living together lol.

also the way davrin constantly talks about wanting/needing to make something of himself before he goes back to his clan makes me want to chew drywall it feels like it's scratching the surface of something that could be soooooooooooooooooooooooooo interesting, the way he keeps carrying their expectations of him and the desire to be worthy of his people and to make them proud even when he's far away or is ostensibly no longer 'one' of them......................................

avos onestar and rowanstar parallel about how they’re both on shaky ground as leaders, they’re aware their clanmates don’t respect them as such and have actually left them to the wolves in one way or another, but the two are bitter enemies and this similarity between them is actually their downfall as both of their kingdoms crumble under darktail’s seige…

While it’s a minor point in the new event, can we pause and talk for a moment that a spy tries to stop Hibiscus by spreading Blood Libel? The villains literally change the Witch King’s Prophecy so that it makes everyone suspicious of her. And it does this by highlighting that she’s a Sarkaz, a “Horned Devil”, who just came into town and is taking blood samples. Townsfolk are immediately stirred up into thinking that she’s taking the blood to use for Sarkaz rituals. Like, this isn’t even subtle at this point. This is just Blood Libel freshly created and aimed at one person.
I don’t know how others felt reading that section, but as a Jew that section is OOF. It’s a lot to see Hibiscus struggling against those rumors. It’s worse that it really doesn’t feel like anything new. She’s used to this type of treatment. All in all, the scene is momentary and we move on from it to the rest of the event, but it’s definitely telling that that was put in there. It’s a very on the nose and deliberate scene. Someone knows what and where they’re pulling from. The Sarkaz definitely take inspiration from many diaspora and groups, they’re not one to one for Jews, but they’re definitely more on the nose to Jews than other groups as far as I’m aware.
As we’re entering Victoria and directly engaging with the ruling Sarkaz and seeing their brutality in the main story, between this and “Guiding Light”, we’re getting tidbits of awful treatment throughout parts of Terra. This is a pretty fascinating dichotomy to me and I’d love to see what others think about this scene and how it adds another log to the treatment and mythology of the Sarkaz.

I love this fic!
Young Sasuke Uchiha becomes a social justice warrior, this somehow leading to: his clan not being massacred and succeeding in their coup, the Hyuga branch family being freed and having their own coup, and Naruto gaining a supportive best friend and parental figure.

ok wait i realized i can just use my gallery's text & draw thing this is great
Tumblr media
this is what i mean by 'the clan au doesnt have a set story'. theres all these places that it can branch off of and the possibilities r endless and i have *counting* ..14 scenarios/storylines so far and every time i think of a new scenerio another gets added<3
[slight bit more info for all the branches so far]
i havent done much with the kny-canon leaning ones they're more just like if i did follow canon thats how it'd be done ykno? im thinking they get raided by the shinazugawas for control of the trade routes and either they both survive like that one post or only giyu survives, either way Sakonji takes in the living tomioka(s)
------
most of the stories arent tied down to canon theyre more whatever worldbuilding i have and stories pop up from them- one of the first ones was the shina-tomi failed peacetalks bc i wanted to draw sanemi & giyuu fighting (i just realized i placed the branches perfectly bc thats closer to canon than the others lol)
if the peacetalks worked(wouldve been later/after sanemi took over) then it kinda snowballed into a few nearby/allied clans forming a village, then from that theres the Tomi-Daki diplomat/trade envoy w the fox trio(giyu makomo & sabito)
---
the rescues are like. little to no formal interactions between any of the three clans(shina-kumeno is always allied), in the first one its winter and giyu's on his way home when he catches the trail of bloodline hunters and saves Genya & Masachika.
in the other one giyu's pinned by a rogue shinobi and sanemi & sabito both find him at the same time and they make a lil truce bc giyu has severe chakra exhastion and cant make it home
----
undercover mission has one thats purely sanegiyu; sanemi is disguised as Kazura & giyu as Gikuro and actually i looked back at my notes and this ones like. in the past before the village branch. so it connects to that one but it can also be a standalone. the other undercover mission is sabisanegiyu where sabito & giyuu went undercover as a master/servant thing and sanemi was disgusted by it and didnt know that it wasnt Real so he tried to 'save' giyuu and got invited to the polycule<3
---
the lil unnamed branches inbetween is that one where giyu got chased out the clan by tsutako for killing their mom, there was a spy who had taken her place and giyu noticed and killed the spy but tsutako only saw him killing their mom and she lost her shit in dispair & heartbreak. theres a branch for Giyu staying alone, Sabito ditching the urokodakis for his packmate while makomo stays behind to fix things with tsutako, and both Sabito & Makomo ditching the urokodakis for their packmate
---
the arranged marriages are sanegiyu with the first branch being after sanemi takes over and giyu asking for it ot of goodwill & he likes him(his pack gets to stay w him). other two Kyogo requested(demanded) it for trade routes, he doesnt allow the urokodakis to go with bc theyre Not Tomiokas and these routes more heavily portray the different biology of the southerners/mountain-pass(a/b/o)
ones angsty bc sanemi is like. CRUSHED that he cant find love on his own. his father takes literally everything away from him. while sanemi is kind & respects giyu he doesnt really care for him. and for giyu to go from a very close-knit family-oriented culture to the stone cold-cutthroat/conservative/severely traumatized/individualist culture of the shinazigawas with literally No One there for him he gets pretty fucked up w the emotional neglect
the other ones less angsty bc sanemi actually Tries in their relationship and finds that he actually enjoys giyu's company- and cuddles. the cuddles r fuckin great. but kyogo's still a cunt and a massive hindrance to emotional and mental healing of everyone around him. but sanemi's not alone now so its Better
#kny clan au#im Hoping that by posting this ppl will ask abt some of them n add their own two cents for ideas to flesh them out more#actually im realizing now that this is. probably incredibly niche and self indulgent. its naruto systems x kny characters#+ giyuu-centric as fuck w a lot of sabigiyu & sanegiyu#i swear its not all about giyu im making a better map of the world & it has so many other clans & fandoms to play with#i just havent focused on anything other than giyu bc hes my lil guy. my lil loserboy beloved. u understand right????#i wanna explore more shit with other people i have an entire continent of political shit to figure out#all i got so far is that w the bigass mountain straight thru the middle the tomi-daki pass is the safest for traders so a lot go thru there#and they specifically run like. protection details for passer-bys so people dont die from the elements. which means they get access to#literally every trader that goes through. theyre fucking GOLDEN and other clans either want to ally w them or attack them for their own#control. but theyre mostly safe from that bc their compounds r way up in the mountains & theyre used to the rough terrain.#its like people invading russia in winter- its just not on your side dude.. go back home..#theres also the Inarizaki from land of water trying to stake a post on the mainland near the kochos. so they went to the shinazugawas for#Reputation & actually really good firepower against attackers. even if theyre on the other end of that half of the continent.#i love worldbuilding#i did it for ocs but it started as a kid so its like. all over the place. i cant make sense of it & my ocs kinda bore me & i ended up Here#using my anime characters as lil dolls w a vague sense of their original character/personality bc i changed So Much-#if anyone inquires or not i Will be posting more about any and all of the branches Eventually#hhh stop typing Send Post#oh wait fuck i have to put it in the maintaga for people to see#fuck. shit. post be upon ye#kny#kimetsu no yaiba#demon slayer#giyuu#sabito#makomo#sanemi

Here is the second chapter, which I had to repost due to an error:
Hello everyone!
I am so excited to share my first work in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom with you! While I am a huge fan of the 2003 iteration, I have chosen to set this story in the 2012 iteration, as it fits best with the storyline I have envisioned. But do not worry—if you enjoy this, I will be posting a story set in the 2003 universe later on, so stay tuned!
This story is a loose adaptation of the City Fall arc from the IDW comics, tailored to fit the 2012 cartoon's setting. Here is the link and summary:
Title: Little Dark Age
Summary: After a devastating defeat by the Shredder during the Kraang invasion, Leonardo is captured and subjected to the dark machinations of the witch Kitsune. Bewitched and scarred, Leonardo is made to believe that the Hamato Clan is the architect of his suffering, convinced they are responsible for years of psychological and physical abuse. When Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo return to New York, they are horrified to find their presumed-dead brother now a vengeful and far more powerful adversary as the chunin of the Foot Clan.

Got a bunch of Sasuke-centric asks, so here we are!
Sakura has some complicated feelings about Sasuke.
In my AU, Sakura was born to civilian parents who didn't really want her to become shinobi, even though that had been her dream for as long as she could remember- and it was no secret in the Haruno household that they were hoping she'd drop out, or at the very most, be career genin.
So Sakura never really had anyone to believe in her and had to go into the academy (late!) as a civilian-born, meaning she was automatically behind in development (and status) compared to the clan kids. (I headcanon that until the Academy, Sakura didn't ever spar with anyone, versus clan kids who had probably learned how to wield kunai before they knew how to walk).
So Sakura worked hard and did her absolute best to get the barest minimum that clan kids were afforded by default. Unfortunately, her best, without the resources/opportunities, just wasn't good enough. And Sakura knew it. Academically, she was brilliant, but that's not enough to be a good shinobi. And somewhere deep down, Sakura (at the very least Inner Sakura) knew it.
It's why I headcanon that she developed such a violent temper. People who are secure in themselves don't have such explosive, uncontrolled outbursts- it's why she picked on people like Naruto, who was probably the only person below her in the pecking order (maybe Tenten? But they're equals I guess). It's why she's so quick to anger and usually has those responses OUT of combat- it's because that's the only place her violence is actually effective.
It's also why she's such a teacher's pet- she needs validation from others to try and fill the gaping void.
So when Sasuke appeared on the radar, and everyone wanted him, so did Sakura. Because if she got him, she would do something that no one else- clan-privileged and better- could do. In fact, she staked most of her identity (her hair, her diet, her clothing) on it.
None of this was conscious. She really did have a crush on Sasuke, but the seed of it was born from a very misguided desire to prove herself on an even playing field.
After all, she didn't have a clan upbringing/resources to teach her how to find self-worth and actualization through her skills (she went home, and her civilian parents praised her for things that absolutely didn't matter in shinobi reality, amazement that she could throw a kunai! how good her grades were! and how cool it was that she could jump high!)
(and Kakashi absolutely didn't help, lol), so she defaulted to what she knew- which was being a regular girl with a regular crush.
Now, as an ~adult, she's come to the painful realization that her love for Sasuke was just a goalpost. Ironically, she set her sights on someone who would inadvertently feed into all of those insecurities, and because Sakura didn't love/believe in herself, she accepted Sasuke's abuse.
She also understands that she ran into the Chidori/Rasengan deathmatch of her own stupidity, but she just can't forgive Sasuke for leaving. For never owning up. 'Cause that's just coward behavior..
Basically, Sasuke's cruelty was just a reflection of her own self-loathing, and unfortunately, Sakura just wallowed in denial and ended up paying a hefty-ass price.
So if she ever sees Sasuke again? Honestly, she doesn't know whether she wants justice or revenge. It's complicated.
Whew- that was a text dump....
Once again, thank you so much to everyone for all the interest and asks! I'm so happy we can all share Naruto rotbrain together.

Madara Golden Age : Chapter 8
the core of ninjutsu ~ Izuna POV
Tumblr media
Previous chapters on A03
Izuna POV, Warring States Era fic, Uchiha-centric, graphic violence, mostly canon compliant, seinen style, madaracore
***
"Madara, here you are! I was waiting for you outside the compound!" I shout out while coming inside the main training building and joining him on top of the stands.
"I was on my way. I took some weapons from the storehouse and… I've been distracted," he holds firmly the grip of his sword hanging on his sash.
He's disgruntled. I can hear it by his forced sarcastic tone. I watch over the crowded ground. A hundred people are busy fighting an invisible opponent, repeating the same kata movements again and again until it is imprinted in their muscles. Others are stretching their body, or wrapping their hands and feet before boxing a bag of sand. Nothing out of the norm, but if I judge by Madara's body language, he's fuming...
Don't forget to like, comments, reblog and share if you like the story❤️. the author loves attentions and proofs of love. It makes the next chapters magically comes up quickly. It's proven by science. source : Trust me, bro.

For everyone hearing about StormClan and doesn't mind Ivypool's Heart spoilers, here's the details I've heard so far;
(Remember to take this with a grain of salt, as always, because this is third hand information I've collected from various spoiler threads)
This is not a major plot thread in Ivypool's Heart. It's actually quite secondary.
StormClan was created at some point after DOTC, when Galestar of WindClan and Stripestar of ThunderClan fell in love.
They combined their Clans into one and left the territory.
At some point, Galestar, Whitebreeze, Rosebush (or Shadebush) and some other guy betrayed Stripestar.
Some cats came back to reform ThunderClan and WindClan.
But not all of them came back; these remnants stayed as StormClan.
Ngl StormClan's traditions are UNIRONICALLY very cool. Instead of contacting a centric StarClan, each one has a "Spirit Guide" (a lot like my Patrons and Demons, but more personal!)
Spirit Guides give their chosen disciple a full name, and can be channeled directly when needed. VERY cool.
Sisters are a breakaway group from StormClan. Less cool, imo, I wanted them to be closer to the Tribe.
StormClan cats also tend to be aggressive, and have actually been several of the unnamed rogues across the series.
Ivypool is going to have several flashes to the StormClan founding drama, or spiritual visions, or something. Basically she's going to give us a window into the history of StormClan.
We get confirmation that fading is connected to forgetting, BUT a faded spirit can be brought back if they're remembered.
There's a big soul river thing that connects all the afterlives.
So, overall, imo this seems fun. I'm actually glad that the Erins are being a bit more creative with the afterlife systems, and this is a nice way to riff on the structure of Clans. While I am still (rightly, imo) wary of the team's ability to juggle all of these new groups, I think StormClan is an interesting addition to canon.

The prophecy - Gojo Satoru
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: Gojo Satoru knew he was the strongest, he perfectly knew. But that didn’t mean he didn’t cry and that night while everyone still preparing to fight Sukuna, he cried. He cried because he felt completely alone and only seen as a weapon
paring: Gojo Satoru x gn!reader
tags: angst, canon universe, manga spoilers, Gojo centric, lyrics, fluff, mutual feeling, no use of y/n, Gojo thinks reader hates him, open up for a second part.
note: i wrote this some time ago and never actually posted, everything i have to say is that I love Gojo Satoru so much and i miss him like crazy. If y’all like it I could write a second part and explore more about this pair, but this part is mainly focused on Gojo’s character
words: 1,7k
Jujutsu Kaisen materialist | part 2
“I’ve been on my knees, change the prophecy”
Gojo Satoru only cried four times in his life. The first time he was 5 years old and he wanted to learn to ride a bicycle, but he fell to his knees and bled. The elders of the clan and his parents always told him that he should not cry and that he should be strong, but that day when he got to his room he cried hugging his favorite puppet.
The second time was when he was 17 years old, Suguru had left and he didn't understand why, again he cried alone in his room wondering if he could have done more for the one who was once his best friend.
The third time he was 27 years old, it was after killing Suguru, he stood there statically looking at the lifeless body of his old friend and let the tears run down his cheeks.
The last time was now, when he was 29 years old. And once again he was alone.
He always wondered if his whole life was already written, if there was a prophecy that said that he who possessed six eyes and limitless was destined to always be alone. That was the burden he had to bear for being “the strongest.”
He wondered if he would be able to change jujutsu society and thus change everything. That if someone in 100, 300 or who knows when had the same powers as him again, they would not have to be alone, that they would not have all that burden from the moment of birth.
Satoru was born with a price on his head, he was used by the higher ups since he was 15 and now he was facing what could be his last battle and ironically if he died they will continue to use him as what they have always made him believe he is. A weapon.
Satoru did not mind dedicating his life to exorcising curses, in fact he liked it and they satisfied him, especially if they were of a high level. But he wanted to stop being alone, he wanted to stop being seen as the strongest, as a weapon to use.
When the idea was proposed to him, the first thing he thought about was what would happen to Yuta. He knew that Yuta could only replicate the techniques for 5 minutes and then he lost them. In the best case scenario, he would return to his original body, right? The second thing he thought was that it wouldn't be necessary, and he was prepared to beat Sukuna, he wasn't going to lose. And the last thing he thought was that he would once again be used.
Now there he was in his room, alone, crying because he just didn’t feel like anyone really cared about him. Why didn’t Shoko object? Why didn’t anyone object to the idea?
He sighed and throw himself to the bed, looking up to the ceiling of his bedroom, preventing his tears from falling down.
“Don’t want money, just someone who wants my company”
The door opened letting in light from the hallway, Satoru did not move, he knew the cursed energy immediately. He let you come in and sit on the bed a little away from him.
“I think it’s an awful and dehumanizing plan.” You said.
Satoru chuckled, holding his tears, the room was dark but still he didn’t want you to see him crying. “Can’t believe you are the one standing for me.”
“Don’t get over your head Gojo and besides one of your kids, Yuta also stood for you.” You said. “And I’m pretty sure Shoko hates the idea but believes in you more than anyone else.”
“Really?” He whisked.
“You don’t think like that?”
“Well…” He sighed. “After feeling all my life used as a weapon by this cracked society, I wasn’t surprised if people were willing to use me as a weapon even after my death.”
You fell silent, processing Satoru’s words. “Satoru…” He hummed. “You feel lonely?”
Satoru turned his face towards you, thanks to his six eyes he was able to see you clearly. And why were you crying? You off all the people? You who hated his guts? Why?
“Why are you crying?” Satoru inquired and you wiped your tears away.
“I’m not crying and besides it’s dark you can’t know.”
“I have the six eyes, I see everything.”
“I doubt…” You whispered.
“What?” Satoru stood up and moved closer to you.
“Nothing.” You tried to avoid him. “Do you like plan B? Be honest.”
“To be honest, I don’t know.” He sighed. “If I lose… that might be the only way to kill Sukuna and bring Megumi back but I’m worried about Yuta, it would be awful for him to get stock on this body, although I’m pretty handsome.”
“You are not serious.”
Satoru chuckled. “But for real, if that’s the only way… then it’s okay.”
“But it’s not.” You said. “You want to be used as a puppet? As a weapon?!”
Why were you so sad? So angry?
“All my life it’s been like that, it’s like a prophecy and maybe if I let them use me one more time maybe I can redo that prophecy, so no one else has to go through what I, we went as kids.”
You stood up from the bed and walked away from it. “I hate you…” You whispered but still Satoru was able to hear you.
“I know you always say how…”
“No.” You shook your head next to the window. “For you to have the six eyes, you’re pretty blind you know?” You chuckled. “You once said that you had the theory that love is the most twisted curse right? Well you were right.” You laughed. “Love really consumes you, especially when the person you love won’t look at you the way you want them to look at you.”
Satoru's heart started to rise with each one of the words you were speaking. He was still confused and overwhelmed by what you were saying.
“It’s funny right?” You said once again. “I’m such a coward and selfish person, silent for over 10 years and now that you are about to face the greatest threat of your life I’m here, making everything about me and my feelings.” You look down. “Please Satoru, let someone assist you during the fight, let me assist you.” You were on the edge of tears. “I’m also a special grade, my kitsune fire technique could help…”
“I work better alone.” He cut you off.
A silence fell between you too and your nails dug into your palm, causing small wounds. “That’s what everyone has always told you.” You whispered. “But you don’t have to be alone. You don’t have to hold all that weight alone.”
“Who do I have to speak to, about if they can redo the prophecy?”
Satoru took a deep breath and with a shaky voice, spoke. “I’m the strongest, it’s what I must do, so everyone is okay, so everyone can…”
“Stop with that Satoru! Stop…” You throw your hands to the air. “What about you? I don’t want you to die Satoru, I don’t want you to be used as a puppet.”
“Enough.” He said your name in a whisper. “The decision has been made, I don’t care.” He stood up and walked towards the door.
“You do care…” You whispered. “Because then why would you be crying here, alone?” You walked. “Hiding all your burdens, all your pain for just yourself. Why?”
Satoru stopped himself and tried to catch his breath but it seemed like the room was running out of air. You walked to him and took his hand on yours and rested your forehead on his back.
“I’m here Satoru…” You whispered against his back.
You felt his grip tighten around your hand and you held onto him tightly as well, letting him know that you were there.
“What should I do?” He whispered.
You stayed silent for a moment and then spoke. “What if you do a binding vow? Just in case Sukuna…” You were unable to say those words.
“A binding vow…”
You nodded against his back. “I know that for it you need to give up something and you probably won’t want to give up what I’m about to suggest…”
“I will.” He turned to look at you. “You suggest that I give up the six eyes, to come back alive.” You nodded. “I will do it.”
You felt like crying. “Good…”
Satoru smirked and kissed your forehead. “Thank you…”
“I hope you don’t have to lose it…” You whispered. “I hope you kill Sukuna off and you come back to us, to me.” You whispered the last part.
Satoru hugged in a hug that almost hurt, but that you knew that the both of you needed.
“It’s late, I should…”
Satoru didn’t let you move. “Stay…” You froze, not sure what to say or what to do. “You said I never looked at you the way you wished, but…” Your heart started to pump in your chest, you could almost hear it in your ears. “Stay with me tonight, pretend like I’m yours for tonight and let me pretend like you are mine.”
You swallowed and hugged him back. “I don’t want to pretend.”
He giggled with a sad tone. “You will have to wait…” He whispered.
You thighed the grip, not wanting to let him go, afraid of him leaving. “Have you been sleeping?” You whispered.
Satoru shook his head. “Badly… really badly.”
You caressed his back gently. "Try to sleep." You said and he responded humming. “I hope you can break that prophecy, Satoru.” You whispered and Satoru wrapped his arms around you tighter.
Satoru hid his face on your neck and in silence he also hoped for that, he hoped to return alive and to be able to finally have someone besides him. To be loved and to be cherished. He hoped he didn’t have to beg anymore and no one else in the future needed to go through what he went through.
That no was seen as a weapon for the Jujutsu world and their youth was never taken from them.
Satoru Gojo just hoped for that, for the prophecy to stop, to break. To be happy with those he loved.
