They don’t even attempt to assassinate US politicians anymore. You notice that? Not since the anthrax scare back for… who was it, Barack? And even that… pathetic. This new generation has no respect for an honest hitman. I’m not sure this new generation has any honest hitman - you see that shit with Boeing? Sloppy, fucking disgraceful - you kill the whistleblowers before they get halfway to a lawsuit. What kind of fucking amateur is doing faked suicides the night before testimony? Goddamn greenhorns. Back in my day someone tried to shoot Ronald Reagan in broad daylight. There used to be bomb threats to Congress. I took out a few union leaders in the utilities sector myself. Today’s generation? Won’t even threaten to throw a punch - not even over on that - what’s it now, ‘X’? They got no guts. None! And they don’t even have poor impulse control to boot! Too much of that - that panopticon anxiety bullshit. “Oh what if I get a called out post???” People used to send the president letters full of bioweapons. In the mail! Today’s generation? Not a chance. All because of woke.

Creating a post for what I feel was an inspired response: Hot take but I feel like ambessa gives daddy issues and silco gives mommy issues. Silco is like, an overindulgent parent who would hang up ur ugly art on the fridge and refuse to acknowledge any of your (serious) faults at the PTA meeting, while ambessa would tell you to suck it up after falling and crying as a kid. she would begrudgingly show you how to change your oil and make fun of you the whole time for not already knowing how.

Do we think criminals and rogues in Gotham say shit like, "This hurts me more than it hurts you," while going after Batburger joints in a severely misguided attempt to go after the Bat-vigilantes?

I like* AdBell but only when weird and fucked up and not lovey at all. I don't like it when they're genuinely in love and have some semblance of a normal relationship. To me, what they have is barely a relationship at all and certainly not a healthy one. Adler is not a good person and I do not believe he is capable of perceiving Bell as an equal. Therefore, despite the amount I shitpost about it like 99% of AdBell content out there does not appeal to me whatsoever.

Actual question: How does a B list actor, with presumably no CIA/FBI/ DHS/ DOJ connections, acquire all this information?
Has he secretly been a spy all the time, like his Person of Interest character?
Now *that* would be a story.
The Jim Caviezel/Mel Gibson bromance is doing neither of them any favours.
It’s not even the conservative/Catholic/religious thing which, hey, is their choice.
It’s the batshit Qanon stuff. Even most sensible religious people know Qanon folks ain’t playing with a full deck.

See, the thing about confirming wackjobs who have been steeped in racist right-wing propaganda to high bureaucratic offices means platforming and legitimizing illiterate, anti-intellectual, and sinophobic conspiracy theories that show a fundamental lack of understanding and knowledge of virology.

Fuck the CIA
This country is run by fucking fools who want to blame China for their 🫵 public health, emergency management, and policy failures. China isn’t the reason Americans died of COVID-19; the U.S. government’s bumbling incompetence and inefficiencies are.
Emergent viruses come from human contact with infected animals. Whether it’s the bat in your attic or the ducks and cows on your farm or the fucking eggs you eat. Once a virus moves from an animal-to-animal, then animal-to-human, it mutates within humans for human-to-human transmission, and that is the FINAL stage of a virus’ transmission “evolution.” This is why the US fucking SHOULD be on high alert regarding the bird flu, and taking every step and then some to prevent human infection. (That includes providing the workers who are tending to and culling flocks with protective gear.)
And what’s MOST IMPORTANT about this “report” is that the CIA has…
LOW CONFIDENCE
…that the lab leak conspiracy is the “more likely” reality than a natural origin. Take this to mean, “we haven’t really investigated this and aren't sure it’s likely, but our boss thinks this is true and has asked us to investigate it and tell the public that this could be the reality. But we’re not sure it is.”

You still cling to naive ideals. I learned, at a very young age, the only currency worth anything in this world is power.
#aliasedit#alias#irina derevko#lena olin#userthing#tvarchive#alexander khasinau#arvin sloane#gerard cuvee#jack bristow#cuvee x irina#irina x jack#irina x khasinau#irina x sloane#myedit#irina wants power to make up for all the countless times she felt powerless.#khasinau is different from others in such way that there's no indication that he held any kind of power over her in the 'present'.#her decision to kill him wasn't based on emotions; wasn't based on a disagreement or because he crossed a line he shouldn't have.#it only had to be done to put sark into power (read: to put her personal pet project who's easier to control into power).#and that decision says more about her relationship with sark than about her relationship with khasinau at the time of his death.#but the potential for khasinau to betray her was always there. at least in irina's mind.#the potential to seize the control he once had over her and her life back. and she made sure that potential died with him.#because the idea of surrendering to the cia with him on the outside -#the idea of putting her life in his hands for the first time in twenty years - wasn't something she could accept. understandable!#still - i can't get over how it's something she could accept with sark.#how khasinau's experience or their shared history of more than 35 years;#how they've clearly reached an understanding in all those years or how she made him the face of her own organization;#none of that mattered in the end. she still couldn't rely on him fully.#and she didn't trust him enough to catch her after her (carefully constructed and planned) fall.#poi's root voice: i knew you boys would catch me! well irina only knew that for certain about sark.

I am trying Dark Deity but my mind got too excited to try the randomizing options, so now the main lord that is referred to as little brother in the prologue is Sloane, and I have a starting team of Adepts and Mages and most of my units have been knocked out with star reductions by Chapter 3 besides one tanky Mage (10 defense at level 3)
Should I just restart until I get a Cleric ? Or be logical and actually do a normal campaign before playing with the settings ?
Probably a hot (ice cold) take from someone who has /never/ used a randomizer:
I would recommend a base run first! Not even for the sake of classes handed to you, but for the fact I think it would make it more enjoyable to know the original context of a unit before blasting them to a randomizer. Also restarting until you get a starting cleric sounds agonizing.
A base campaign run let's you get more accustomed to the characters and mechanics and battle which would make (in my unexperienced opinion) characters in different roles more fun and you have thd gameplay experience to figure out how to handle situations better even if you don't have a cleric to start in a randomized.
