SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

My opinions on the three new episodes of Wild Kratts WITH SPOILERS:

Bumblezzzz: It was so fun! Zach is a little shit, but that's to be expected. Loved Donita's cameo. I felt bad for Jimmy's cake.

Salamander Streaming: Pretty okay episode. Kind of upset that they left Koki to figure out everything wrong with the ship. But she won in the end. So it's okay, I guess.

Chimpanzee and Me: I LOVED THIS EPISODE! It was so nice to see Chris taking a bad situation and making an adventure out of it. I loved that they talked about things like sign language and just how smart chimps are! And Zach getting his own invention used on himself was a lovely bit of karma that I thoroughly enjoyed. By far my favorite episode I've seen in a long time! 10/10!

Got around to watching Nope (2022) and Daniel Kaluuya’s character is literally so funny. A fucked up giant alien that eats people starts flying through the sky and terrorizing his ranch and he’s immediately like, “that’s a weird horse. Don’t look it in the eye.” Opens his car door to see it hovering overhead and just goes “nope” and closes the car door. Fucking falls asleep like that. Aggressive amounts of chill re: the giant flying alien that eats people, but try to make him do public speaking and he hides behind his gay sister like a toddler hides behind their mom’s legs when you smile at them at the grocery store. He’s going to do (1) interview and become a meme immediately and hate every second of it. OJ just wants to contemplate the mountains and train his horses in peace, and people keep making memes like, panel 1, you’re trying to print in a hurry, panel 2, someone has badly photoshopped him and the flying alien over it like “DON’T LOOK IT IN THE EYE.” Em ropes him into going on Jimmy Fallon or some shit talk show and the host is like, “OJ, what do you think of this meme!?” and OJ goes, “Printers don’t have eyes” and that also becomes a meme. He’s despairing. None of these people even care about horse safety. Angel is still there for some reason. Em has three girlfriends, and yes, they smoke weed.

all jokes aside the actual thing with the fairy vs walrus post is that by asking the question you are saying a fairy being at your door is a possibility in the first place. and in an hypothetical world where a fairy could be knocking on your front door, seeing a walrus there is definitely more surprising.

because a walrus is just not an animal that could reasonably get to your door, let alone understand what knocking on it means. they're not common in zoos or circuses and not even the kind of exotic animal rich people think they can keep as a pet. they don't even have arms. it's just a bad animal for the hypothetical.

that being said, please think of this one carefully: you are home alone, and are not expecting any guests. you hear a knock on your front door.

I'm happy with how it turned out 😁 My last chimpanzee painting was two years ago, so it's time I make another one! Painted in acrylics and touched up with CSP. I think I was kind of trying to play it cool irt how much I am actually offended when people are mean/rude to Miku and Miku fans. Like I didn't want to become this overbearing, overly sensitive zealot who will blow your head off with psychic powers if you so much as THINK of something mean spirited about Miku. I am becoming that person though(probably have fully transformed into that person like a 6-7 months ago if im being real)

satoru would be a physics major ( by choice even as a nepo baby ) that's talented in fashion and art studies because everything exists in a context—when sukuna ( a current fashion major ) meets satoru he's taken a back on how satoru seems to come up with ideas far better more beautiful than most of his classmates and himself could ever come up with, things that are on the level of the greats he likes.

but as he sticks around satoru he realizes that satoru's idea are so authentic because he doesn't think about fashion being about fashion. satoru takes fashion and the arts as things that always connect to life and because satoru has lived his life sneaking away from his family to enjoy things, he goes to places that are grimey with the worst people imaginable and come out with an even greater insight on life and persepctive. therefore, he can understand art better than someone in art college that is simply copying basquiat.

for example in black swan; nina couldn't play the roll of the black swan even though she had been obsessed with ballerina for years because the story isn't about ballet. it's about romance, and Nina's never experienced that.

satoru remains completely unaware of his gift and just sends sukuna more and more of the designs he came up with.
