listen I know it’s kind of corny and inaccurate to act like every single person in the dc universe knows each other and is besties but it IS endlessly funny to me to follow the web of connections and see how many degrees removed from each other everyone is.

I want to be clear from the get-go that this fic and Eclipse's side fic are and have always been @head-in-the-icloud 's brain child. She is incredibly creative and talented with so many good ideas! I was brought in due to writing experience, particularly in this fandom. But the story is hers.

The original idea was for me to just be a beta-reader, but things evolved into more of a co-author position. Which I don't mind! But as I have my own fics (that I'm so evilly neglecting, I'm so sorry), I rotate in priority.

Recently, life stuff has been rough and busy for the both of us, particularly Cloudy. She works very hard on everything she does and puts in so much effort. I started a new job about a year back and, while I can't speak for the specifics of their case, Cloudy has also been busy with work. While we both love the fics, they have to take a backseat for a while.

BUT!

They are not cancelled or orphaned or anything like that! In fact, I finished chapter 2 a while back and, with Cloudy's permission, I will be posting it shortly!
