Varda Elentári x “L’Étoile Polaire”- Alphonse Mucha
Varda, Queen of the Valar, Lady of the Stars. She was the most beautiful of all the Valar. The Elves loved her the most of all the gods because of her creation of the stars.

To Varda, Ilúvatar said: 'I will give unto thee a parting gift. Thou shalt take into Eä a light that is holy, coming new from Me, unsullied by the thought and lust of Melkor, and with thee it shall enter into Eä, and be in Eä, but not of Eä.'

Tolkien’s subtle connections between LOTR and The Silmarillion are just glorious to discover. Like the reason Gollum hates sunlight and moonlight is the same reason the Nazgûl get scared off when Frodo calls out to Varda! Sauron - and thus his servants and his Ring that has completely corrupted Gollum’s soul - shares the absolute darkness of Melkor, who always hated and feared Varda because she is absolute light and thereby she created the Sun and Moon in defiance of that darkness… and she created them out of the last remaining light of the Two Trees which Melkor destroyed, so every time a piece of Melkor’s darkness comes into contact with the light of the Sun and Moon, it is reminded that Melkor did not destroy that light completely, that it lives on. Gollum can feel Varda’s creations forever clashing with what is indirectly Melkor’s creation.

Okay, the only proof of Námo being an awkward introvert is him saying, "Not the first" when Fëanáro was having a breakdown as to how he would be the first elf killed in Aman.
Like, just read that passage. He doesn't talk at all, except those three words, and revels in the side-eyes everyone gives him. But of course, no one thinks of it until Finwë is declared dead.
But still. Námo, the Doomsayer of The Valar, The Lord of The Dead, Lord of The Halls of Mandos, One of The Kings of Arda, is definitely an awkward introvert.

The Star Kindler and Lord of the Breath of Arda

Chestnuts; Chestnut indicates time to take on the duty of being a provider for ourselves as well as the community. They all symbolize innocence in some places due to how they were used as toys throughout the years. Blueberries; All kinds of berries have symbolized the blood of gods and mythical creatures over the years because of their heavy stains. Blueberries, and blackberries, have before been the berry of pain, remorse, and grief in Europe, however, sometimes you will see them show up as a voice of God and a symbol of divine love from other places on the globe.
I wanted Manwe and Varda to look a bit like their "beastly" forms but not too much as I wanted to have their more humanized forms separated from it, yes, a bit like Jekyll and Hyde, but still keep some of the main things from it so they can still be recognized if you know what to look after.

Valar pt 1
Finally finished the 1st part!
Ulmo is usually big. Like really big. And flowers on Yavanna's dress and hair are something similar to cherry and apricot blossom.
