Finally!
The final art from the first part of the crossover series of art on the theme "Genshin Impact x Lord of the Rings". You already knew who it would be (there was a spoiler in the post with the very first art, yes), and, of course, it's Neuvillette. It was he who started this series, because, once again rewatching the trilogy by Peter Jackson, I accidentally imagined Neuvillette in elven clothes, and then I was overcome. But it was incredibly difficult ... In particular, because I did not have a suitable artistic style either for him or for this series of art. It had to be reinvented, combining my two own styles, and only then did I manage to find the right execution.
The inspiration for his image was the elves: both Rivendell and Lothlorien - I took and mixed everything that was lying around, leaving Neuvillette only with his native color scheme. I wanted to convey in his image the unearthly sublimity of the Eldar, their wisdom, detachment and sadness, which they are imbued with through and through. I was inspired by the best (namely, all those who created "The Lord of the Rings" in the cinematic format, masterfully screening the work of Professor Tolkien), and I hope that I managed to come at least a little closer to them.
Previous art from this series: Wriothesley Arlecchino Bennet
And you can still write to me in the comments which of the Genshin Impact characters you would like to see in the Middle-Earth setting. Do not be shy! If I get enough ideas and likes, I will make a second series of art.

I continue working on a series of art for the crossover "Genshin Impact x LoTR. I asked not only my Tumblr subscribers to write who they would like to see - even before the start of work, I conducted a poll on my Telegram channel, where the first four were determined. Don't worry, all those who wrote to me about their wishes will definitely get their favorites in the images of the inhabitants of Middle-earth - I will need time to think about them and make sketches.
For now, let's get back to Bennett. Drawing him for this crossover, I was inspired by the image of Bilbo Baggins, who was played in the Hobbit trilogy by the inimitable Martin Freeman. Benny loves adventures and often gets into stories, so it seemed to me that who, if not him, should get such an image?

I continue the theme of the Genshin and Lord of the Rings crossover, and the next in the series of art is Arlecchino. Her image in the Middle-Earth universe is based on the Nazgul, and their fiefdom - Minas Morgul - became the background for her.
It was more difficult to draw Arlecchino than Wriothesley. Although, rather, the difficulties were not so much with her, but with her look. It would seem that what is difficult in drawing a mountain of rags? But this is the whole catch, because the devil is in the details. I used many references of the Nazgul both for Harlequin herself in this image and for the fortress of Minas Morgul. And of course, I was again inspired by my favorite trilogy "The Lord of the Rings" by Peter Jackson, trying to convey the same vibe as in his films. If the previous art with Wriothesley was airy and light, then I wanted to make this one dark, oppressive, but ghostly and shaky. I hope I succeeded..

You know, I love crossovers. And after watching LoTR by Peter Jackson again, I was so inspired that I decided to shake off the old days and make a LoTR crossover with Genshin Impact, and the first one to get a Middle Earth residency was (well, actually - Neuvillette, but after the draft I decided to leave him for "dessert") Wriothesley. In my opinion, the Gondor vibe and armor really suited the Duke. Here, both his color scheme and the atmosphere are suitable, and it is also easy to imagine him fighting off the orcs in Osgiliath, which, by the way, served as his background.
I had to use a ton of references for Wriothesley... There is a little bit of Boromir, and Elessar, and the entire army of Gondor - in general. The hardest thing was with the ornament framing the picture... but Wriothesley himself was easy and pleasant to draw. I was even surprised myself, considering that I had never drawn the Duke before.
If you liked this idea in my execution, you can write to me in the comments which of the characters you would like to see in the same style. Don't be shy!
