"Why." A soft, playful punch is given to his arm.

"Are." Another

"You." And another.

"So cute?" A final devastating blow as you scrunch your face in mock annoyance.

Soft chuckles escape Chris beside you, unable to prevent himself from beaming at your words.

"Not sure," He grins. "But if you're gonna punch me again, I might lose my arm."

This time, you smack him lightly.

With a dramatic yelp, Chris is grabbing his arm and falling over on the couch.

"Uncle! Uncle!"

"This is what you get, you cutiepatootie!" You use this new position to your advantage, crawling on top of him and beginning to tickle his sides.

Peals of laughter fall from his lips, "I give! I give!"

"Not so tough when the shoe's on the other foot, huh?"

"Okay, okay!" He snatches your wrists gently in his hands. "I promise I won't surprise you with any more tickle attacks."

"See?" You sit up, a triumphant smile on your lips. "That wasn't so hard, was it?"

"I don't know," He mirrors your grin. "I feel like a piece of my personality was just locked away."

"All because you can't tickle me anymore?" A curiously quirked brow is sent his way.

"Maybe I just enjoy hearing you laugh."

Your expression softens, shoulders relaxing as you stare down at him. Only, Chris takes this opportunity to take advantage of your sudden vulnerability.

"Gotcha!" A firm tug is given to your wrists, pulling you into his chest. Firm arms wrap around you, burying his face into the side of your neck as he playfully blows a raspberry onto your skin.

The way you burst out laughing is music to his ears, fighting to escape his teasing grip.

"Chris!"

Which of the kings are the ones who would handle an interrogation?

Say the MC is held hostage somewhere, which king(s) would be handling the poor soul they were trying to get info from, and what would these kings be doing to get what they needed to locate their queen?

Hey Anon, I feel like chapter 24 of HC answers these questions pretty well. And the end of chapter 2. I feel like it's pretty explicit; all of them would have something to say about it lol

Also, if OC's mind wasn't trapped like Miyeon did, the OC could just as easily reach out to any one of the guys through their mental connection. Almost like a ping for her location.

Edit: Also, as for the interrogation, Chapter 2 of PG sort of touches on that - they'd usually handle it together

is it ok to join in this ask because it's so funny? it looks straight out of a movie war scene. so much yelling. some throwing themselves against the glass, others have their face and hands pressed the glass crying a river of anime level tears, atleast one is sitting on the ground rocking back and forth head between their knees taking deep breaths to try and get a grip.

Lmaooo, I can picture it so clearly. Jongho has his hand pressed against the glass, breathing heavily as he just STARES at the OC. Eyes black, barely holding himself back.

Woosan have their faces smushed against the glass, breath fogging it up.

Seonghwa is muttering to himself and pacing back and forth, tugging at his hair. Poor man might go bald at this point.

Mingi is curled up in a ball, sobbing.

Yunho keeps flipping between grinning like a madman, and covering his mouth while sliding down the wall, also sobbing.

Yeosang smiles dopily, walking into the glass without realizing, just on autopilot at this point.

And Hongjoong.... poor Hongjoong is Suffering™️

I had a goofy thought during my HC reread. Imagine if another group had released in your fantasy before MC went to the hotel. She's dancing around singing about wanting lucifer and turning away from heaven. I'd bet atleast two of the members run and throw themselves against the glass barrier in a futile attempt to break through and get to her.

I haven't forgotten about them, don't worry! I'm not sure when a new update will be coming for that series, honestly. I've been leaning more towards rewriting it lately, but I know I want to finish book two at the very least. It may be some time yet before that series gets my full undivided attention like before. I'm kinda hoping to at least get 4-5 books into my commission before devoting more attention to my stories again. Not sure if that will actually happen, but I'm still working on finding a balance between the two. Every time I think I've managed to do so, I get too overwhelmed lol

I know I keep saying it, but I really had a rough time the past year and a half. I'm in a much better place than I was even just six months ago, and every day is a little better. There was just a lot going on, and there still is! I'm hoping to return to my series soon, I'm just not sure how soon that soon will be.

Every night, you could hear their song.

The moment you shut your eyes, it was like you no longer had control over your own body. Thoughts would flood your mind, lulling you into a deep sleep.

Yet, was it truly sleep? It felt like a dream within a dream. Not quite unconscious. Not quite awake. Every sensation magnified, yet dulled until you could no longer separate dream from reality.

"Come to us."

Those voice harmonizing in the dark, luring you deeper and deeper into their clutches. It was getting harder to resist.

You'd catch yourself. It was like someone was pulling your strings. One night, you'd come back to your senses just as you were reaching for the door to your bedroom. Another, you had just stepped out into the hallway of your apartment complex.

Each new dream kept bringing you further and further away from your home, but why didn't it feel wrong?

You'd see glimpses of what you could only describe as two figures. One was tall, the other a bit shorter. Yet always, they were covered in shadows.

Sharp eyes. A menacing grin. Two beings that warped and twisted in the darkness, sparking your curiosity and making you want to see more.

It was odd. Normally, you would run and hide from the shadows lurking in the corners. You should be terrified.

Trust your gut.

At least, that's what you've always told yourself. It's always been right, and has never led you astray.

So, why do these gentle voices make you feel safe?

"Come to us..." A melodic voice lures you from your bed.

"Let us finally be together..." That deep drawl sends shivers up your spine as you push your way onto the street.

"Make us whole again." Two voices speaking at once as you walk into an abandoned warehouse near the docks.

It is then that you finally see them.

Two men, one with shoulder length black hair half tied back from his face, and the other with short blond hair. There's this unfiltered glee shining within their eyes as you walk towards them, no longer in complete control of your own body.

Those eyes...

That menacing grin...

"Finally..." The tall one with the deep voice sighs in bliss, as if a great weight has lifted from his shoulders.

Suddenly, you find yourself trapped between the two males. Strong arms wrap around your waist, the tall one resting his chin lightly against your shoulder.

For a brief moment, the blond one standing in front of you reaches up to caress your cheek. A look of utter fondness paints his features, and you swear you see tears lining his pitch black eyes.

"You came home."

If there's one thing you regret in this life, it's what you said on that fateful night.

You never expected them to agree to such a thing. Not with all of their fighting and rivalry. In fact, you said what you did because you thought it would put an end to all of this.

Oh, how wrong you were.

Attempting to describe Seonghwa and Minho as 'friends', if you could even call them that, would be quite simple. They're not. Whenever you would see them interact, they would always be bickering, or trying to one up one another.

At first, you honestly thought they were a couple. One with a healthy sense of competition between each other for motivation. You didn't really pay much attention to them until they started paying too much attention to you.

It all started when Seonghwa brought you flowers.

The gesture was innocent enough at the time, since you had been out with a larger friend group. Seonghwa had brought a single flower for every one of his friends. A sort of celebration for surviving another year of university. However, while most of his friends got pink tulips or daffodils, you received a red carnation. Minho, on the other hand, got a black dahlia.

If only you had realized what that meant at the time.

The next incident occurred when Minho invited you to the end of the year mixer. Seeing as you were both Finance majors, it made sense to go with your fellow kin. He presented it as nothing more than a friendly gesture, only for you to find out from Seonghwa that Minho had been going around and telling everyone he could that he was taking you as his date.

Small transgressions started becoming larger and larger, until one night, while caught in the middle of the two of them bickering, you had had enough. Your shoulders were starting to ache from being tugged from one male to the next, neither relenting their tight grip on your arms. Of course, you knew they weren't all human, so you were worried about one of them tearing off a limb.

"Guys, this is getting ridiculous!"

"You're telling me." Minho rolls his eyes, tugging you towards him once more. "Can you believe this idiot thinks he has a chance with you?"

A snarl escapes Seonghwa's lips, eyes flashing a dangerous shade of red. "Back off, Mutt. You should have known they were mine the moment I laid eyes on them."

"As if you could ever fulfill their life the way I could."

"At least they never have to worry about me smelling like wet dog."

"At least they don't have to worry about me sucking them dry!"

"At least-"

"Guy!" Your sudden loud shout draws both of their attention. "Enough! Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. My arms are about to fall off."

"See!" Seonghwa gives one final tug, pulling you towards him and out of Minho's grip. "You brute! You're hurting them!"

"Me? You're the one who wouldn't let go!" Minho reaches for you, only for Seonghwa to tug you out of the way.

"For fuck's sake!" You harshly yank your arm out of Seonghwa's grip, putting some distance between you and the two of them. "I've had enough of this! I'm not some toy for the two of you to fight over like toddlers!"

"He started it!"

It's near comical the way they both speak at the same time, pointing at the other accusingly.

"I don't care who started it! I'm ending it!" A frown mars your features as you cross your arms over your chest. "I don't care if you're both supposedly fated to me or not! Either you both have me, or neither of you do!"

With those words, you marched right out on them, leaving them stunned and frozen in their spots.

In hind sight, you should have just kept your mouth shut. Frustration be damned, at least you wouldn't be in your current situation.

Now, you attempt to control your racing heart while being held between two overly affectionate men. Minho insists on nuzzling against you every chance he gets, his arms wrapped securely around your waist. Seonghwa, on the other hand, cannot stop himself from keeping you pressed right up against his chest.

"You were right." Minho hums, nosing along your neck. "Two is better than one."

"If we can't have you," Seonghwa's voice is low, right by your ear, "No one can."
