I am biased b/c my favourite take on Hibari (next to acearo Hibari) is the one who’s secretly a service top in disguise. Taking his affinity for the small, often overlooked, but resourceful creatures, and extending that to what he likes in his partners. Something about being called, “little one”, by him... drools.

He often takes on quite the authoritative tone, and it’s literally the sexiest thing I’m sosorry y’all. Hibari is initially not as talkative, fairly quiet during sex, aside from giving instructions, and some small comments and mostly matter-of-fact statements. He can and will be convinced to include more praise and/or degradation in the bedroom, though it confuses him at first. He doesn’t understand why his partner would want him to purposefully shit talk them, and he was sure that he praises them enough, straightforwardly, when appropriate. It finally clicks when he sees how they absolutely melt for a simple “good pet,” or how they tense and squirm for him when he calls them a “pathetic hole, so desperate to be filled.”

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character? - he's an infrequent reader! His responsabilities as captain + his training take most of his time, but I like to think he's also interested in Italian history, specifically military history. I think he'd be well versed in the 19th century and the Unification of Italy. Nobody in the Varia knows, of course, nor he ever brings it up since there's nobody as knowledgeable as him to talk about it with.

{Context: Squalo learnt English from a Londoner. Have you ever heard of Cockney rhyming slang? It uses terms such as "Liza Minelli", rhyming with and referring to a 'telly' or TV. The rhyming part is omitted. Hence, Liza replaces 'telly' and Scooby (short for Scooby-Doo, naturally) fittingly means "clue". In other words, he's saying "I've been trying to set up the TV but as for if that's actually working I have no fucking idea."

And yes, I do write out the Cockney accent.

Now, I'm gonna choose a bit of a different approach here and go with Chrome. Why? Because I don't trust the khr justice system as far as I could throw it, so I'm going to break the rules and mist whammy the entire courtroom so hard they'll believe I'm the next coming of Jesus afterwards. I choose Chrome for my lawyer candidate because

a) She would look cute as fuck in a suit

b) She's a nice girl who wouldn't mind helping me out

c) She's the Mist least likely to either bankrupt me (Mammon) or give me more years to my sentence for the lols (Mukuro and Fran)

So yeah, I'm going to walk out of that court house smelling fresh like daisies and then invite Chrome for ice cream because she deserves it.

🚑Bel has a weird way to show affection and stabbed you for the fifth time this month. Which character do you want as a ride to the ER? (Vongola medical hasn't been an option since the third incident, they were getting sick of seeing your face.)

Squalo is going to be my ride, because he's very familiar with Bel's bullshit and is therefore used to cleaning up after him (somebody give this guy a raise, some alcohol and a vacation, he needs it). Also, I just think it would be funny if he screamed the whole ride to the ER like he's trying to emulate an ambulance siren (so people will get the fuck out of his way). Rip to my eardrums though.

Today's little rambling as I do things to get ready because of Squalo's month, you know checking through the manga and all that, it's gonna get long so I'll cut it off soon: There is a High potential that no one other than Xanxus and Squalo know about the vow.

Because it's only ever shown once in the flashback and Squalo never utters anything about it from his mouth. The closest he gets is during the sky battle muttering to himself about how Xanxus' rage is what made him want to follow Xanxus. At whatever level he was muttering himself to it was quiet enough that the people around him had nothing to say about that. Even though Dino has asked him why he's not the leader of the Varia, something that alone would have answered.

Now why is it important whether or not people know these things? It shows both of how Squalo treats this vow, and how Squalo is perceived by others. Squalo, is likely well aware that if he does share this information, he looks like he A. Believes Xanxus is above him, B. Others will see him as more of an extension of Xanxus and less of his own person C. (part of B)Others will see him similarly to Levi, an attack dog that can't act against Xanxus.

It is important to note, that in the way they interact Squalo very clearly does not see Xanxus as above him. It's very likely this Vow works sort of like an olive branch to say "I want to work with you" Which is an important distinction as Squalo was believed to be incredibly powerful, if Squalo didn't do this Xanxus could likely perceive him as a threat to his goals given his position in the Varia at the time of the vow. If Squalo wanted to see Xanxus' rage and ambition through, being seen as an active threat was... not going to cut it.

The other thing is that means to everyone else, Squalo's and Xanxus' relationship as Boss and Captain can range from confusing, to wondering when Squalo will finally snap and kill Xanxus, or just how much power Xanxus actually must have to prevent such a thing. There's likely a lot of theories, but they can't come up with something concrete, like why Dino couldn't have an answer to why Squalo wasn't the boss at the time of Varia arc.

I think it's also interesting because it further separates how the arm being cut off, which Squalo chose to do for his own goals, and this vow is treated. Everyone knows about the arm thing, or at least people in Squalo's circle, Dino knows about the arm thing and around the time of Varia arc when it's mentioned they seem to be a bit estranged so it may be a lot more common knowledge when looking into Squalo. Which means if it's something he's done for himself, he's fine with it being known. Which makes sense as he likely also believes this decision is a show of his strength. Finally, it also explains why other people don't entirely seem to get why Squalo is so protective of his hair, like when Luss acts like it's just regular hair loss worries and not something of the utmost importance to Squalo.

But it must be confusing to everyone, why that despite the fact he hates it so much, that he won't cut it. Why when he complains so much and treats it poorly he keeps it and still tries his best to maintain it. Squalo is clearly not exactly obsessed with his looks after all it much be strange.

It's clear that Squalo won't mention things that make him seem weak. It makes sense that he never mentioned this. I think it'd be more interesting to explore the connotations of this perspective and how it actually affects things that way. It might be interesting to see where that goes, Squalo doesn't do a lot of talking about himself in the first place, but to also show Squalo actually trying to hide the truth of it? That's not something i actually see often. I think I'll be keeping this for my writing.

Ava is definitely one of the biggest yandere providers. The way he clings to his brother would spark many many yandere scenarios. I also think he is someone who is put a lot through unhealthy relationships or one sided loves. Another thing I could see with him is going through the entire shipping bingo (only one bed, hanahaki, fake boyfriends, arranged marriage, snowed in together-)

Lorenzo weirdly enough I could see as being made the reluctant team mom? Also def seen as being a witty one liner machine. Biggest enemies to lovers candidate tbh, he gets instantly paired with whoever he has beef with and that's half the cast.

LorAva as a ship would def be a fave for the tragedy enjoyers, because despite them working it out in canon they just have such high angst potential. Lots of "there was only one bed" stories.

What headcanons/theories do you believe fandom would invent about your character?

For Ava they'd definitely do a lot of HCs about how much he is like their mother and what that says about their mother and Ava in return. Lot's of fluffy headcanons about him being pure and wholesome, letting out his box animal to play, holding tea parties. There is definitely a long running theory that all officers and especially Xanxus have "adopted" Ava as their princess because it's Squalos cute younger brother? Many many "Xanxus is actually soft to Ava" headcanons.

Don't ask me how but i believe there'd be people who believe Lorenzo is secretly related to Belphegor or even Gokudera. Def a candidate of moe gap headcanons about him secretly being really into stuff like stuffed animals??? definitely a lot of "he is just misunderstood :c" posts and a strangely wide accepted AU of Lorenzo and Dera being brothers??? It's all good fun though

The amount of hate for Ava, because there are a good few that ship him with his brother. In general I think most Ava hate would come through how he is depicted by fandom as this uwu shota bean too pure for this world, which makes him seem so unnecesarily childish. With the uwu baby bean comes also the "he has never done anything wrong in his life" which some find extremely annoying because Ava is ALSO violent and hotheaded and can say insanely stupid things. Also lots of hate because of his relationship with Takeshi and the Yama x someone else shippers don't like that.

Lorenzo is definitely just hated because he is a meanie. Or rather it's the whole "they are so unhealthy for each other" debate. One specific thing he is hated for by some is that [SPOILER ALERT] during the fights that break out to determine if Tsuna keeps listening to Squad 4 or if he refuses their teachings, Lorenzo actually wins his fight against Hibari through a technicallity and myyyy god there are enough Hibari fans who hate that so much, and therefore just can't forgive Lorenzo.
