Didn’t have inspiration to color this, but gave Lucas an update since I’m bringing him, Edvard, and Basil back into lore. Lucas is a shepard and he lives in the out reaches of Ever Autumn and rarely come in to town, him and Edvard are also divorced. Uhhhhhh, brain drawing a blank ;0; nooooooo.

Eponine had spent much of the time that people were missing stressed and overwhelmed, desperately trying to keep morale up through the diner, but with Kaleb and Marshall missing, it had been hard. Only made harder when she was summoned to speak to the Queen, the woman demanding to know where the Prince was, that he was last spotted entering the town before the snowstorm hit, and hadn’t been seen since.

After getting confirmation once the captured were all released, and seeing an advertisement for a new mechanic shop offering to help people with their vehicles following the bad weather she raced there, sighing when she spotted the familiar outline.

“Mon petit monstre, I nearly had an heart attack.” She sighed, moving to hug her brother before she saw the grease on his overalls and she wrinkled her nose. “At least clean up before we speak?”

While Barbie hadn't originally planned to sit next to the stranger she gladly accepted his quiet invitation and perched on the edge of the bench alongside him. She scrunched her nose a bit at the mention of snow and looked around herself as though daring more of it to fall from the sky. Snow was lovely to see so long as she didn't have to get out in it and risk some getting into her socks. "I love the holiday season but I'll be even happier when it's summer time again, the sunshine looks best on my skin."

Barbie's eyes grew two sizes and another surge of excitement ran through her - the stranger probably had no idea that he had asked the right question or that she could speak about fashion for hours without ever growing tired of it. "You have a good eye! Almost all of my tweed is Chanel, naturally, but they just don't come in the right shade of pink so I have to have them custom made. I adore the soft pink and even own a few items in that color, but the bolder pinks are what really catch my attention." She looked over the stranger with newfound respect and nodded in satisfaction. "You look fabulous as well, it's nice to have run into someone who knows a their way around a wardrobe."

Basil normally wouldn't get caught dead outside the house in anything less than slacks and a blazer/coat. "Business casual" wasn't really in his vocabulary, as he couldn't expect anyone to take him seriously as a detective if he himself didn't take it seriously. That said, Basil had also been running into some walls recently in terms of getting people talking around town. Maybe he'd become a little too well known for his ability to dig for clues, and it closed off anyone's attitude to being questioned.

He'd tried a little better to adopt something casual, something unassuming that any random person in town could wear when people-watching. If this plan worked though, Basil only feared that he might have to venture out in a long-sleeved t-shirt and jeans more often, and that was a horrifying enough concept all on its own.

When the young lady approached him, Basil shifted a bit down on the bench, assuming she'd be waiting for a bus or something, "Oh, I suppose, but it's not been too cold since the last snow. Things are starting to melt," Funny, Basil was so used to being the one to approach others with questions, not the other way around, "You look very lovely though, is that in imported?'

Despite it being December and almost winter, yesterday was in the high 70s and it made me feel sick. To remedy that I drew Edvard, Basil, Sage, and Florin enjoying a rare snow day in Ever Autumn. Even tho the name of the town, Ever Autumn does in fact have the semblance of seasons, so on occasion they get cold snaps with light snow during the winter.

Also on another note, I’ve been meaning to draw Edvard ever since I decided to bring him back. I have a soft spot for his design and Ever Autumn always needs more hunters. :D
