Didn’t have inspiration to color this, but gave Lucas an update since I’m bringing him, Edvard, and Basil back into lore. Lucas is a shepard and he lives in the out reaches of Ever Autumn and rarely come in to town, him and Edvard are also divorced. Uhhhhhh, brain drawing a blank ;0; nooooooo.

ulrich's chuckle is fond but his gaze falls mischievously on the pastry that is placed back down on his younger brother's plate. "how does one try something that has no name, teddy?" he questions playfully, merely shifting from one leg to the other, his toes curling into the soles of his shoes as his soul searches for its counterpart atop heads in the crowd; he only hoped they were alone when their reunion was had. his hand is quick when it breaks a piece of pastry from his brother's, his grin wide. "that's right, you steal your brother's. consider it tax for the woes of being first born."
so far the ethiopian court appeared like a different shade of the norwegian one but the main hue remained the same, making it all the easier for teddy to dive headfirst into all it offered. had he not spotted his brother, he would've entered into another conversation with the first interesting noble he crossed paths with. smile froze as his mind turned over the question. teddy felt his cheeks flush. ❝ that . . . is an excellent question. ❞ he chuckled. ❝ i fear i lack the answer. but you should still try it. otherwise yes, i will eat it myself. ❞ he took another bite of his own pastry as further proof that he wasn't trying to pull a trick on the older sigurdsson.

Despite it being December and almost winter, yesterday was in the high 70s and it made me feel sick. To remedy that I drew Edvard, Basil, Sage, and Florin enjoying a rare snow day in Ever Autumn. Even tho the name of the town, Ever Autumn does in fact have the semblance of seasons, so on occasion they get cold snaps with light snow during the winter.
Also on another note, I’ve been meaning to draw Edvard ever since I decided to bring him back. I have a soft spot for his design and Ever Autumn always needs more hunters. :D

Paul Gangolf (German, 1879 - murdered 1936) was born on this day. "Tightrope Walker", c. 1925-30, lithograph, hand-colored with transparent watercolor. National Gallery of Art, Washington DC. Born to a Jewish family, Paul Loewy changed his name to Gangolf in the 1900s. Hamburg collector Gustav Schiefler acquired his sketches, as he had previously done for Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Max Liebermann and Edvard Munch, among others. In 1926 Gangolf moved to Paris where he took part in art exhibitions. After the Nazi party took power, Gangolf was arrested as a result of a denunciation on the streets of Berlin, spent several months in the Columbia-Haus concentration camp and then deported to the Esterwegen concentration camp, where he was shot. In 1937, as part of the “Degenerate Art” campaign, Gangolf's paintings were confiscated from all museums and collections. Most were destroyed.
