Ehhh, this group can be best summarized as 'earth-dwellers' but sorting them together seems rude because Caroline would hate everyone here. Literally Brian's disappearance was her fault, lol.

"So I'm standing there at the counter, you know they got one of those walk up windows and I'm shooting my shot with the cashier, real cutie and let me tell you he was feelin me but Zeus decides at that very moment to bolt because apparently the only one with more game than me is him. Saw this cute little poodle and he just had to go after her. You know he got that dog in him," Hernando joked, laughing the entire time he told Lori the story as they walked Zeus through the neighborhood. "So I didn't get my coffee, didn't get the guys number and had to end up apologizing to some poor dog owner on behalf of Zeus. I mean the guy is a menace," he joked, Zeus trotting along happily without a care. "Anyway, that's the most eventful thing that's happened to me this week," he lied easily as if there hadn't been a whole structural change in Los Santos and Matias hadn't disappeared into the ether. But as with all things, Hernando was minding his business unless asked otherwise. Not that he could complain at all by Rio being trusted with more. He couldn't think of someone more fitting. "What about you, hm? If you want to share," he added, not wanting her to feel pressured to have to spill about everything that was going on with her and her kid but he wanted her to know he was there if she needed someone to talk to. "Speaking of, you want a coffee? I could use one. But you might have to do the talking." @lorixbrooks

"sup." he greeted in response, nodding his head at her and giving her a soft smile. of course nick remembered her, how could he not? it was hard to forget someone you took care of one night when they were really out of it, but nick is the last person to judge. as if he hasn't been in life altering situations before, way worse than the one's lorelei's been in. "thanks," he's about to take the lighter, when she pulls back, causing the pink haired male to raise an eyebrow. at her question, he scratches the back of his head. "i mean, yes... and no." he informs her, shrugging casually. "i'm on my lunch break, so technically, not at work, but if you're worried about me being stoned and working, don't sweat it. i smoke with the owner too. he's real cool." it wasn't a lie, they had blazed a joint one too many times together. "i'll share with you. come on, are you about to deny me a lighter? that hurts my feelings, not gonna lie." he's teasing, but he's also kind of not.

when she first moved to long beach she considered getting a bike. she could drive, but she'd sold her car soon after she moved. deciding it was a sign of her determination to make it work in long beach. to not just run like a frightened animal at the first sign of trouble. luckily for her: with no bike or car long beach was still exceedingly walkable. she even rather liked the walk from her apartment to the mall. usually she enjoyed it alone, but today she was interrupted by familiar face. " 'sup, " she greeted in response, friendly smile appearing. she glanced to the joint as he asked his question, " oh, yeah, hold on, " she patted down her skirt (notably pocketless) before she thought to fish into bag. a moment later she had lighter in hand, stolen from someone at some point, and held it out to him. " here– wait, " she curled her hand, and lighter, back towards herself before he could take it. " are you working? "
