"why should I get invested in shows if they'll just get canceled" I was deeply invested in Heroes (2006) and it was not canceled, it just got really terrible. I also got really invested in the sandwich I had a few weeks ago despite it only lasting like 15 minutes. You must embrace the ephemeral. You must be willing to love things that may not love you back, that might betray you, or that may die an untimely death. It is genuinely so funny (also infuriating but still funny) to me when people respond to ADHD people taking meds for the first time and going “wow is this how people are supposed to feel???” by acting like those people are taking meth for the first time and getting high and thinking that’s how humans are supposed to feel all the time. And then they get condescending about that.

Like. The reason I am so sure I have ADHD is because I would absolutely not seek this drug out to get high. It has zero recreational use for me, although it clearly does for neurotypical people.

You know what I did the first time I got access to ADHD meds? I sat quietly in a chemistry class, waiting for a boring chemical reaction to take place, basically with Wii music playing in my head, and the waiting didn’t feel physically painful to me the way it did prior to taking meds. I’m told normal people can endure 5-20 minute stretches of doing nothing without boredom becoming painful. I never had before. It was a revelation.

But it absolutely was not like getting high. I could just behave in the exact way I’d been expected to behave for 30+ years without hurting myself doing so. It’s so fucking crazy the hoops I have to jump through to get a vital medication just because some dipshits think I’m getting high off it. Literal meth out of someone’s trailer would be simpler and probably cheaper to acquire if that was what I was after.

Kon loves hanging out with Tim both in and out of the suits, except when he joins Tim for missions or patrol in Gotham, he's just a tag along. A passenger princess. He's a 6ft Kryptonian but he's not there to fight the villains, that's what Tim is for. Kon is just there to look pretty and crack jokes.

Danny is just a kid ya know? Like he is just a little guy. A baby really. 14? Tiny child! Look at him, he needs to be protected. Someone has to help this poor little dude. I mean he forgets to use his own powers to avoid attacks all the time.

Anyway cut to Batfam not knowing all of Dannys power set cause the lil dingus keeps forgetting he can do that stuff in the heat of battle.

Danny uses his invisibility all the time… to avoid being followed. But in a fight? Oopsies hes too busy thinking of funny one liners to realise he could do that.

Intangibility? Give the guy a break. I mean who calls themselves condiment king. Even he was stunned.

He so rarely actually uses his biggest advantage powers that the League doubt he actually has them. He, like any naive child, trusts them and reported fully on his power set. Instead of just asking him to demonstrate his powers they instead start watching him and try to find evidence of his powers.

At least they know duplication was true since they watched him make a copy of himself to go to the bathroom and not miss any of his fav tv show.
