Just Fawcett things!
Sorry guys for being gone in such a long time, I had really bad writers block and I kept making wips after wips after wips. So here's a small portion of food to feed on.
(Basically fawcett toonforce is horrifying to people outside of the city.)
Fawcett is terrifying on many standards. It was still a very odd town even before the time bubble. And when it finally popped giving freedom to its prisoners (residents). A bunch of. heroes, reporters, and tourists alike came to visit! Never gonna happen again.
The first instance occurred when..
Reporter: Sir. Captain Marvel! you've vanished off of the face of earth for 70 years! May we ask your feelings on that?
Captain Marvel talking in a very jolly tune: Alto-
Gets cut off by a tourist screaming as they point to a man who was currently whistling, walking on thin air not looking down whatsoever. All the foreigners looks at Cap expecting him to do something. However they didn't expect him to shrug it off with a smile.
"Oh you old Joe!" Captain Marvel said as the man looked down with a shocked face, plummeting down onto the cool hard rock pavement. Until a splat could be heard.
The man was absolutely splat on the ground like a piece of slime that fell on the ground. No blood, no nothing. A sludge of what seemed to be skin, clothes, hair, and eyes looks up at the people gawking at it. Before popping back up and continuing to walk like nothing ever happened.

I am not even anti-billionaire when it comes to rich women. Women deserve to be ultra rich and live however we want; having financial freedom, real independence, enjoying luxury, not owing our time and energy to anybody, and being impossible for men to exploit us cause we don’t need them for anything. I myself am working hard to be rich enough that i don’t have to work hard anymore and so i can enjoy my life while fulfilling my desires that are far beyond my basic needs. If i ever become as rich as Taylor Swift, i'd love to have my own private jet as well and use it to travel everywhere while leaving the carbon emissions on every jealous hater’s face to make them feel suffocated so they can shut their mouths for once!
These low-life, chronically online, judgmental freaks who talk about caring about humanity or the environment only do their judgmental shit talk when they have to target or blame a woman. Meet them irl and you’ll see they are just jobless, miserable nobodies sitting behind their phones all day scrolling and pointing fingers at other women thinking they can bring them down to their level. Sigh!😮‍💨 And they fail every time. You will never find these people actually doing something nice for the world themselves because they think hating and blaming women automatically puts them in the "good people" category and gives them the validation of everyone else pretending to be a good person on the internet! They are so horrible they even defend cyberbullying rich successful women with comments like:
“but she’s a billionaire she deserves backlash”
“oh she’s so rude and obsessed with herself she deserves all the hate”
“oh but she has never donated her money to charity she’s so selfish”
The so called angry liberal activists, including some of the radfems, go in all their way to pass such stupid ridiculous comments; no wonder so many women are leaving feminism because what we want is freedom, rest and to own our lives. We are not here to carry the burden of everything y'all like to put on our shoulders. Feminism is only about our liberation from men and patriarchy so put your focus on that, whatever we do other than that is none of anyone’s damn business. Stop expecting feminists to solve every humanitarian crisis as we are not here for that! Stop asking women to cut off our expenses and make sacrifices for the sake of others. No we won’t do that! Cope and cry! And do it yourself if you care!
And to the women who often get guilt-tripped by these miserable insecure losers for wanting a rich luxurious lifestyle, ignore them all! They are not at your level for you to be wasting your energy on them. You are the only one working hard for yourself to gain these privileges, money, and freedom. You deserve to cherish it however YOU want, and not according to these low-value people who didn’t put an ounce of effort in your life but have the audacity to tell you what to do with your blessings. They all didn’t support Taylor Swift in 2016 when she was cancelled, didn’t care about how she was feeling, refused to acknowledge her existence like cowards to be on the safe side of the internet, and also participated in cyber bullying her all over the internet just for fun. Now when she’s a self-made prospering billionaire, all of a sudden she exists in everyone’s mind as a horrible person because she is not living her life the same miserable way as theirs.
Always keep in mind that they don’t even hate you, they hate themselves, they hate their lives, they hate everything about themselves so what they direct at you is just the projection of their own insecurities and they always do it in the form of gaslighting. If Taylor Swift did it while enduring the entire world hating on her, so can you! Stay evil and selfish while sipping on your fav wine in your private jet and let them cry about it because nobody is important when you’re lost in having fun, let alone their opinions. I am proud of you for choosing to upgrade your life, instead of suffering in the same shit! Cheers! 🥂
i will always be anti-billionaire, but it pisses me off when people talk about Taylor swift likes shes the literal spawn of Satan. sure, she does have a very big impact on the environment, but I see males harassing her about her carbon footprint but don't bat an eye at elon musk or any other male billionaire. if you're going to target a billionaire for their impact on the environment maybe focus on all billionaires, not just a woman lmao. don't claim to be doing this to "help bring awareness for the earth" when you literally only talk about taylor

How did you find the Crow reactivity as a background? Also, if you feel like it, please present your warrior Crow propaganda, I'm planning my next playthrough and I'm torn between rogue and warrior :)) (side-note no one asked for: I'd heard there's a special romanced Lucanis dialogue when you approach the well in the Crossroads and patiently waited to confirm my romance first before i dealt with the Echo and it didn't trigger😭devastated)
if you play a crow rook you get the funniest beat in the entire game where lucanis is like “rook we have to go see teia” and crow rook is like “any day you spend with the seventh talon is a great day!!! :D” and lucanis is like “... about my grandmother’s funeral”. what more do you want
more seriously, the reactivity’s good, from what i’ve seen i would say it’s among the best on offer. it’s not wildly plot relevant or anything but you get plenty with all the crow characters, the dynamic with viago is great, i’ve never felt like there was anything “missing” that i would have wanted my crow to say... i think they manage a good balance between content and having a lot of freedom to define your own backstory
i massively enjoyed warrior de riva and rescind all my early worries about it. it’s a really fun angle and i think having bodyguards and people who do protection work or just blunt force kills adds a nice bit of texture to the crows. not everyone in the organisation can be stabbing people, okay, someone has to have a different thing. sometimes you have to stop your enemies stabbing people! sometimes you have to be able to pose as a common soldier! sometimes you have to have the upper body strength to beat someone to death when a knife isn’t available! and that’s important. and valid. it’s nice to be a bit different to your faction companion as well. you’re never going to be the knife guy like lucanis is the knife guy, you may as well lean into something else

Happy Hanukkah! Hope you're doing well
Would you say being a zionist or supporting zionism is "picking a side" in the war? Sorry if it's a silly question, but I've noticed a lot of Palestinian or people related to palestinians on this site are understandably antizionist, even when they aren't antisemitic. I've been told I'm being somewhat hypocritical by claiming to be neutral and supporting zionism(which btw i only meant in a non-extremist way) . So I just wanna clear it up, bc I am against Israel's actions too.
I would say it's complicated. Zionism itself must be defined before you can say you do or do not agree with that term as applied to you. So, in general, Zionism is very broad. Quite simply it boils down to the recognition of Jews as the indigenous people of Israel and the right of said people to self-determine in their communities within their native land.
With regard to the war, I actually do not view Zionism as taking a side for or against Palestinian self-determination, freedom and dignity. I am a Zionist because I am a Jew, a part of the indigenous tribe of people connected for thousands of years to this land and this place.
But I acknowledge that whilst Palestinians are a recent identity and whilst they didn't undergo ethnogenesis in Israel, they've lived there for a long time and it's silly to expect that they wouldn't consider it their homeland as well. And I support that, I think that's OK -- IF it's not being levied as a supercessionist attempt to claim Arabs are the real indigenous peoples of Israel and Jews are just European invaders.
But Palestinians are our neighbors, for better and for worse. And we must find a way to coexist and live in peace, because we want an ally by our side, not an enemy at the gates. And unfortunately, our conduct has been veering hard from the precepts that tie our people together since we accepted the Torah at Sinai.
Yes, "El" was originally the "God of Banners." There is a lot of rhetoric in the Torah that approves of "crushing your enemies." But, as a people, as we moved toward Rabbinic Judaism, we must follow the lead of our forefathers and shed the harmful impetus of vengeance. There are also many verses in the Torah that promote compassion and good-will even toward an enemy.
I don't view Palestinians as my enemy. I view them as my neighbors. And I want to be a good citizen and advocate for prosperity and wellbeing for all who live in and around Israel, Gaza and the West Bank, and indeed in every place on Earth.
There is plenty of room within the confines of Zionism to condemn the actions of the Israeli government. Zionism does not mean that we unconditionally support the government. Zionism is about all of us Jews, as a whole entire people. So bad actors like Netanyahu are fundamentally acting against the interests of Zionists and Jews everywhere by causing harm and suffering where it is not warranted.
And that, along with forced military conscription in general, is a searing wound that has been inflicted on us and continues to be inflicted. And we are feeling those reverberations. It's spiritually harmful. (And chag sameach to you and yours!!! Happy Honk!)

I love this scene so much. It is so powerful.
You can see it in his face. This is the moment where Rocket transforms into the person we know him as in Vol. 1.
In this moment he realises he's truly alone. He got to fly into the sky but his friends didn't. And even if he blames the High Evolutionary more, he still blames himself too. It's survivor's guilt. Maybe if he had run when he had the chance, he could've succeeded in at least getting the other two out of there, but by the time he'd stopped seeing red, it was too late. They'd begged him to stop. To go. He didn't listen. He'd promised them all he'd fix it. He'd promised to show them the sky. He'd failed.
In this moment we see Rocket harden.
He's lost his innocence. He is never going to be naive enough to be manipulated again. He won't ever let himself be caged again. He won't be touched by cruel hands again, and be won't be used.
To ensure this, he won't ever trust again. Because he trusted his creator and he was betrayed.
He won't ever love again. If he cares about someone, he'll let them down and they'll get hurt. The only ones he ever loved are gone and all that's left in their place is pain.
And if love only brings pain, then he doesn't want it.
He will not allow himself to be hurt again.
There is so much pain he's holding onto. But he's already cried and that got him mocked. It lost him time he could have used to help his remaining friends escape. So he pushes it down and focuses on the other feeling: the rage. More than anything right now, he's angry. Angry at the cruelty, angry at the injustice, angry at himself, angry at the whole damn universe. Anger is easier than grief, so he latches onto it. Grief will only slow him down, but anger will keep him going. It was the anger that had granted him his freedom, after all.
He will keep going and he won't show mercy to anyone who stands in his way. Why should he? He wasn't shown any. His kind, innocent friends were shown none.
If the only way to survive in this galaxy is to be cruel and calculated, then he'll be cruel. If his friends had been less kind, less trusting, and more ruthless, maybe they'd still be here with him. But they weren't, and they're not. He's the last one standing.
He's alone.
...
Thankfully his resolve changes with time as he does find good people to trust and to love, but it takes him a very long time to get there and he self sabotages along the way. He was so young at the time and this experience shaped his whole life view. It took a lot for him to shake these values that had helped him to survive for so long, and to realise that they had become detrimental to him. But he got there eventually, and for maybe the first time in his life, he's finally genuinely happy. He's finally free from his past and has let go of the guilt and self hatred that he's carried for so long. He has a family who loves him and who he loves in return, and he has a purpose in life. Rather than hurting others for his benefit like he used to, now he's helping them. Protecting those who can't protect themselves. Maybe he couldn't do that before with his first friends, but he can now with others who are counting on him now. Rather than hating the galaxy like he once did, he's found love for it.
He no longer feels so alone.
Tumblr media
And I'm so damn proud of him.

Bison had no intention (in the beginning) of being with Kant just as much as Kant/Style had/have no intentions of being with Fadel/Bison. Now this is just my opinion, and in no way, am I trying to be condescending (since I’ve gotten that before when I have made analysis posts). In a general sense, if you are easily defensive, maybe reading people’s opinions is not for you. But if you want to read because you like to read other people’s thoughts, enjoy. ❤️
I am going to use *10 Things as my reference because I think it leans more towards that adaption than it does *Taming. If you haven’t read Taming or watched 10 Things, this may help you understand what a lot of the fandom talks about. For those who have watched or read either of the references for THK we know that the story is that Kat (Fadel) is the impossible sister who will never marry, and that Bianca (Bison) is the sister that everybody wants. In order to get both of his daughter’s married, their father decides to make it a rule that the only way Bianca can get married is if Kat gets married. This leads to the plot of manipulating Kat into being “Tamed” by her love interest in the original text (the movie moves away from this and instead has Patrick love her for who she is).
Going back to Bison, his character reflects that of Bianca; the very popular, beautiful, and wanted little sister (brother). The thing that I think some people are getting wrong about Bison is that he is more of a loverboy than he actually is. In the movie adaption, Bianca has no intention of ever being with Cameron. I’d say she’s not even that into Joey either, just wants the popularity dating him brings. She uses him as a ruse to get Kat to finally date so she can date. In the beginning, she kind of sees Cameron as a cute puppy. Almost like this person that she can manipulate just because she knows they want something from her. She eventually does start to like Cameron, but there are trials that she has to go through to see that. That being said, I don’t think Bison initially wanted to be with Kant. I think much like Bianca he was trying to free himself from what he sees as a lack of freedom and free will.
It’s not that I’m saying he doesn’t want revenge for his parents (he obviously does, but that is seemingly a ruse by “mom” to keep them around). But it is more so that just like Bianca, his brother is an obstacle within itself. The issue here is that he loves his brother (just like Bianca loves Kat) but neither set of siblings truly knows the other. They fight to protect each other, but can’t even do that because how do you protect someone you don’t truly understand? The only person in the reference material who is truly a victim of the plot is Kat (Fadel) as they are the only people in their stories who have genuine feelings for Patrick (Style). At no point is any of it a joke or a game or even a ploy to get what they want. In general, neither Kat nor Fadel are that savvy and both are far too levelheaded to do anything that the other characters do. So when you look at the motivation behind Bison’s attempt at freedom, he has to be far more savvy than anyone around him.
This is because you have to keep in mind that both Bianca and Bison’s goals aren’t to trick or hurt their sibling. They are looking for someone who would love their “difficult” sibling while also getting something in return. Bison didn’t mean for Kant to hire someone to fake like his brother. Just as much as Bianca didn’t ask Cameron to hire someone to fake date her sister. They are both fiercely protective of their older sibling and that is why we constantly see Bison five steps ahead or paying attention to things that even Fadel isn’t. I think what adds to the story is that the stakes are much higher. In 10 Things you have a bunch of high schoolers dealing with pretty high school issues. But in this sense, you have people’s livelihood at stake. So I think it feels like so much more pain is being brought up than in the original media. It’s easier to find fault in Kant, Style, and Bison because we’re watching a bunch of people do pretty terrible things. But I think for this type of story, you have to kind of remove morals because all four are pretty morally gray. None of them are perfect people or, like in the movie, kids.
Anyway, that’s all for me! Bye!
*Taming = Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare (play) *10 Things=10 Things I Hate About You (movie adaption of said play).

Forming a coven
I’ve been sitting on this idea for a while, and I think it’s finally time to put it out there: I want to start a theistic Satanic coven. A real one, not some edgy, fake, "let's just sit around and bash Christianity" type of group (ugh, we've all seen those). This would be a space for serious practitioners and devoted theists who truly believe in Satan, Lucifer, and the infernal divine. A place to build a community with like-minded people who want something deeper, more meaningful—something sacred. What would it be about?
First, it would be strictly theistic—no edgy atheists just using Satan as a metaphor or symbol to "own the Christians." We’re talking about devotion to Lucifer, to the Goetic demons, and to Hell as the glorious kingdom they’ve built. We’d honor the rebellion, the defiance, and the sacrifices that were made to create a realm of freedom, power, and beauty. If you see Hell as more than just a concept—if you feel it, believe in it, and strive to connect with its essence—then this is for you. At first, it would probably be virtual. Discord, Zoom, whatever works best for everyone. That way, we can gather no matter where we’re from. Maybe someday, it could evolve into in-person gatherings for those who can manage it, but for now, let’s use the tools we have.
What would we do?
Rituals: Monthly group rituals, where we invoke Lucifer and the infernal divine together. We’d craft rituals that are powerful and meaningful, combining traditional elements of demonolatry with personal, modern practices.
Study & Discussion: A space to learn and share knowledge about demonology, the occult, and theistic practices. Maybe even studying ancient texts like grimoires or discussing ways to refine our own spiritual paths.
Devotional Work: Creating offerings, altars, and personal rituals to deepen our connection with Lucifer and the demons. Sharing ideas and inspiring each other to grow in our devotion.
Hell as Inspiration: We could also focus on what Hell means to us—not just as a place but as a symbol of rebellion, freedom, and the ultimate “fuck you” to Yahweh’s crumbling world. I want this coven to feel like a reflection of that: strong, defiant, and beautiful.
Community Building: This isn’t just about rituals and knowledge—it’s about finding people who understand and support each other. Too often, theistic Satanists and Luciferians feel isolated, like no one truly gets them. This coven would be a safe haven for us to connect, vent, and celebrate together.
Would anyone join?
I know starting something like this is a big deal, and it’s going to take work, but I’m so passionate about this that I’m willing to put in the effort. The question is: would anyone else want to be a part of it? If this resonates with you, if you feel that pull toward the infernal and want to build something amazing with others, let me know. from hell with love, Noah hail lucifer!

Astrology Observations - Placements that make a person cold hearted/blooded
Tumblr media
Disclaimer:
This astrology observational post is only made for the purpose of using my wisdom of astrology and making observations using the knowledge of astrology. Don’t take this personally or to heart and trust your intuition.
Moon in 8th house, moon in 12th house, moon square and opposition Saturn
People with placements in the eighth house using moon in the eighth are private or secretive. They prefer having a privacy or private life not sharing too much of their life on social media or media in general. Natives with moon in the twelfth house are emotional people, however they’re good at hiding their feelings or repress them. Because the twelfth house symbolizes illusions, hallucinations, the dream and spirit realm. When you repress your feelings especially hide them you become numb. The reason why we humans feel numb because of the hurt or pain we experience in the past. The only solution to these problems is letting go or do shadow work. Instead of healing like we humans usually do letting go of what no longer serves us gives inner freedom to live our life without being in pain.
Moon square Saturn or Moon opposition Saturn. In astrology, Saturn represents death, age, rules and laws, and karmic lessons. Natives with moon square Saturn or moon opposition Saturn may have had harsh or traumatic childhoods which led to becoming who they are today because of the pain they went through. When their feelings and behaviors go unchecked and without help, they become helpless and cold-hearted. However, it’s possible to get help the solution is therapy, the letting go technique, unlike healing. Because sometimes healing isn’t always the answer healing heals with time, however, people want results that’s why people want the results more than taking a long time to get what they want. By letting go you’re giving yourself the inner freedom to not hold onto the pain and emotional baggage anymore.
Moon in Capricorn, Moon in Scorpio, Moon in Aquarius, and Moon in Virgo or Moon in Gemini
People with placements in Capricorn, Scorpio, Aquarius, Virgo or Gemini are not emotional people. However, for people with Scorpio placements they are emotional except when sharing anything private they become closed off. Because of the fear of coming out vulnerable or being seen as weak. From my research, I learned that hiding your feelings doesn’t make you strong it actually makes you weak. Because the longer you repress and hide your feelings the chances they’ll resurface. When you openly express them in healthy ways through art, singing, or writing it becomes more clearer and easy to understand. I feel that it’s possible to live your life by freeing yourself from the emotional baggage you’re carrying. Healthy ways of expressing yourself is a great way to regulate your emotions, however it won’t replace professional help and therapy. You need help from professional to get the therapy you need.
Aquarius, Capricorn and Scorpio stellium
Stellium’s in astrology is when there’s 3 or more celestial bodies in one zodiac sign. For instance, moon, mercury, Venus, and mars on the eighth house in Aquarius. This means the person who have their stellium in Aquarius in the eighth house of secrecy and transformation ruled by Scorpio, Mars, and Pluto. Natives with stellium in Aquarius on the eighth house may appear cold hearted because they are private with not only themselves, yet their lives they don’t share too much of their life on social media especially media in general. They rather live a private life than a life where they share their life publicly.
Before I forget, currently in 2024 until 2044 Pluto will be in Aquarius until 2044 actually. To remind you all, take caution of sharing too much of your life on social media and media in general, when you over share your life on social media it’s a target for crime, harassment, bullying and other problems. Save yourself the trouble and stay safe. Because remember we are in the age of Aquarius and it’s associated with technology. The technology today is completely different from the past because technology in the ancient world were far more advanced than today.
Chiron in Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Gemini.
People with these placements are rather private when sharing their feelings than their personal information. As humans we’re emotional creatures by nature, however we humans neglect them and turn to the dark side and shut everyone out some call them dark empaths the opposite of what an empath is actually. These types of people are private with their feelings because to be brutally honest no one understands better than ourselves. Because our souls speaks the truth when our soul is hurt or in pain we shut people out, and numb our feelings unless with proper and professional treatment from therapist.
The reason why suffering and evil exists. In my adulthood, as someone with Chiron in Scorpio on my first house I’ve learned that it’s because we humans commit bad deeds unconsciously and without awareness. I also learned something fascinating from Aaron Doughty when you learn Ho’oponopono the Hawaiian ancient technique of forgiveness the point of this technique is that you’re healing yourself from inside out because you’re clearing your aura, and forgive the people who were also hurt too. The phrases are, “I’m sorry, thank you, please forgive me, I love you” they are super powerful and it immensely helps with healing yourself and your aura.
Why am I mentioning a Hawaiian technique of forgiving? It’s because when we do something bad, evil or is suffering everything comes from the unconscious the parts of ourselves that are unaware. Remember the eyes are the windows to the soul? Our unconscious is responsible for our behaviors, deeds, and actions without awareness and with awareness we become who we are. Creation was born from source and source is the origin of consciousness. Without awareness we are just an empty void of nothingness.
That’s why self awareness, letting go and shadow work is the key to freeing yourself from the emotional baggage. And don’t forget to get help. It’s okay to heal because it’s human to feel you have the right to express yourself because it’s a part of who you are.
If you come this far thank you for reading. Stay updated for more posts from me.

Very happy birthdays to you and Melesta! Wishing you both health and joy and freedom.
Would love a little scene between Finduilas and Turgon, in Valinor, "after." If you feel so moved.
🧡
Turgon and Finduilas, reembodied. Rated G, 1100 words. By @polutrope and @melestasflight. On AO3.
“Sorontië, Numentië, Asartië,” Turgon mutters to himself, looking from street corner to street corner, placing names upon the grid of Tirion. Strange that he, who built a city in its image, now finds the grandeur and pulse of Tirion too much to bear. Perhaps it is only the freshness of his renewed body, but everything is so dazzling here, too clean, and the reflected light off all the marble and painted glass hurts his eyes.
As his gaze travels between stalls, carriages, and ornate facades, they land upon one nearby who had until now escaped his notice for how still they stood amidst the city’s perpetual movement.
“Findaráto?” he says, half to himself, because he knows that hair, that peculiar shade of gold as if a bloom of Laurelin has just burst open. But no, he has seen Finrod since he returned — this figure is slight, delicate, as Finrod was in his youth. Not as he is now, in his second life, a warrior reborn as their people’s crown prince.
The body turns and the face that greets him is both alike to Finrod’s and distinctly not. A deep frown adorns her fair features. “How many more in this city will take me for my uncle?”
“I am sorry, lady,” Turgon says, nodding in greeting — and it is only when he lifts his chin and looks at her that her words fully settle in his mind. “Your… uncle?”
Her frown deepens and she looks as if she is ready to throw yet another accusation at him, but she is interrupted by a jewelry seller thrusting an elaborate hair ornament practically into her face.
“Would the lady Finduilas like to try this piece instead?” The seller is almost shouting in her excitement. “It is our latest, created by Lúletinwë.” When Finduilas does not react, the seller adds, sympathetically: “Tirion’s most famous designer of this century.”
Finduilas — Turgon knows the name. Could it be? Finduilas of Nargothrond, Orodreth’s daughter, Finrod’s most beloved niece? Finduilas now glares at the jewelry seller, the exasperation written upon her face.
Turgon cannot blame her. He looks from her face to the ornament: it is like a malformed octopus made of gems, lined with the most ostentatiously enormous, poorly cut, and ill-matched ruby and emerald crystals Turgon has ever seen.
“Return that hideous clump of rock to the bowels of the earth where it belongs!” Turgon blurts, physically recoiling. He shudders. “Better yet, cast it into the Void.”
The jewelry seller’s eyes widen in shock, her jaw dropping. Turgon winces; his mouth has run away with him, again. He considers apologizing, taking back the offense, when a thunder of laughter sounds at his side. Finduilas is roaring, doubled over, and then she grabs Turgon’s forearm to steady herself.
“Oh, that’s the best insult I have yet heard in this new life,” Finduilas says when she regains control of herself. “You, lord, curse as well as the very uncle you just mistook me for, when he loses his famed calm.” Then she turns to the seller, whose face has now hardened like baked clay: “We shall not be requiring your assistance further, lady. I thank you.”
Finduilas leads him away, sliding her hand into the bend of his elbow. Turgon glances over his shoulder for one last look at the jewel-seller: she still glares after them, and this prompts a laugh to leap from his throat.
“It is good to meet you, Finduilas,” he says. “I did not know you were…” It has not become easy, yet, knowing how to speak of having been dead.
“Yes, I am. Returned to life.” Finduilas smiles gently as she turns to him, her earlier frown replaced by mirth. “The pleasure is all mine and please excuse my impatience; I am yet new to this business of living again. May I know your name, also, oh saviour from the terrors of Tirion’s fashion?”
“Oh, yes, I am sorry, I–” Turgon feels the heat in his cheeks, knows that he is making a fool of himself. He feels a child, sometimes, who has to learn the simplest things all over, such as how to place words together… what to call himself. What does he call himself, to this child of Beleriand, reborn in Aman, who never knew him as anything but — what did she know him as? How did Finrod speak to her of him? What did she think of him, the distant King of the Noldor who stayed ensconced in his mountain valley while Nargothrond fell to ruin?
He settles for the name he carried for nigh five centuries. “I am Turgon." Finduilas’ brows arch: in surprise, joy, or fear, Turgon cannot tell, and he hastens to add: “But you may call me uncle, if you wish.”
Finduilas does not seem to share his doubts, the ruin of her fair city so far away that she barely remembers it. “The famed Turgon!” she cries heartily. “My uncle has barely spoken of anything else since your return. At last I meet you!” Then, Finduilas tosses herself into his embrace, arms tightening around his ribs. The top of her hair tickles Turgon’s cheek; she is of Idril’s height, almost to the inch. Turgon holds her against himself. It is the most at home he has felt since returning – strange as that may seem, embracing a kinswoman he never knew in his previous life. But there is something about Finduilas being both new and familiar that sets him at ease.
They pull apart, still smiling, and Turgon says: “If you are still looking for some adornment, I have just remembered a florist where my daughter – long ago – often went to pick out an assortment of exotic flowers brought up from the south. She would arrange them in a wreath herself.” Finduilas’ face brightens at what she hears and Turgon summons the courage to offer his help. “If you would like, I will take you there, for it is not easy to find.”
Passingly, he wonders if the shop is still there at all, but does not speak this thought aloud.
“Lead the way!” Finduilas agrees with a grin more golden than her fair tresses.
Turgon takes her hand, recalling the weight of his young daughter’s hand as he once led her through this crowded marketplace. He guides Finduilas from the bright bustle, towards the secluded, peaceful neighbourhood on the southern slope of Túna where he remembers a quaint little flower shop, down a narrow lane. As they walk in comfortable silence, warmth, as sweet as honeyed tea, fills his chest.
He has made his first friend in this new Tirion.

I find it quite interesting that whenever people talk about their “unpopular opinions” of a certain fandom, they’re just being transphobic ??
Like why do you care that someone hc a character as trans to the point that it’s an opinion you feel the need to share???? Why does it have to be a conversation in the first place?
“This fictional character we have no information about is not trans” TO YOU
“Sirius black is not feminine gneugneu” okay? First he canonically is, second why are you so bothered with femininity ?????
“These characters wouldn’t be wearing dresses/skirts blabla”, they also wouldn’t give a fuck that people think they do BECAUSE THEYRE NOT REAL AND WE HAVE TOTAL CREATIVE FREEDOM
I know yall are weird terfs who hide behind characterization to make your invalid arguments more logical but it truly makes it sound like you’re fighting for an imaginary cause
Please interact with the outside world

I think depictions of Anya being cruel to Curly or drawing out his suffering are artful and chilling but completely miss the point of the story and her character.
I'm not saying she doesn't deserve to have that "I told you so" moment with him but not in something callous or cold. Even if that is how it happened, she'd immediately feel guilty cause at that point she's not tormenting her tormenter or even the person truly at fault. She's doing something cathartic, similar to how Jimmy likely hits Curly to release rage he can't against the rest of the crew. She'd see herself as no different when she'd come back from the moment and see Curly cowering at her. She wants someone to take responsibility but how does being cruel to the defenseless help? Why would she want the power Jimmy has over her over Curly?
The idea of her extending someone else's pain is just so against the struggles she already faces and how she can't even bring herself to cause someone pain even to help them. Her very desire is to release herself from her own suffering and I doubt she'd even fine some sort of guilty release in being cruel to another.
#anya is not a character i see taking agency or indulging in cathartic behaviors#not knowingly like i see her as a character trapped in her head and maybe in the scenario she's cruel to Curly she is envisioning Jimmy#in his place but its not a story about justice or those deserving of punishment and those not like its the opposite of people projecting#their issues on the wrong people and saying things to the wrong people and doing things they shouldn't but anya uniquely falls out of it as#she is subjected to a lot of it but it is also not something she wants to subject another person to like you are doing what Jimmy does and#placing ur rage into another persons and viewing their actions through your eyes like she'd more likely yell at him than do harm or#cause him more pain like at least make it in character#but also she clearly doesn't want to see jimmy or curly in the same light and doesnt because she still repeatedly goes to Curly for comfort#and protection and god there's like concepts that need to be applied to characters individually and then the story as a whole#we can not view the game through only one themed lens less we forget to inspect the compounding factor of Anya is so much more than girl#that needs to be allowed to go off but a woman that simply wants right to be done by her and no more harm like she doesn't want to be aroun#the suffering like idk but some of yall would just benefit from like understanding that people are inherently grey with the capabilities of#black n white thinking or actions#mouthwashing#mouthwashing game#anya mouthwashing#i like her the most but then again i am defensive of all women in media and hate when people change the way the character would take agency#for themselves like yes I want her to tweak out but she just wouldn't and I like seeing realistic depictions of a woman suffering the way#she is like shes not the type at the end of the movie to have a one liner but feel a shallow freedom cause she needs to realistically heal#idk but its just like there is an obbsession forming with making her character her pain and not how she handles and navigates the issue

Swag
#ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧#dragon age: the veilguard#dragon age the veilguard spoilers#<- this is my spoiler tag#dragon age: dreadwolf#dragon age 4#the dread wolf rises#da4#dragon age#bioware#video games#mjs mailbag#robotslenderman#felassan#Best Elf#no but on a serious note its a great question and one which ive been thinkin about a lot#did Felassan manifest from the Fade or was he born in the early days still but of others who had manifested before him?#and if he did manifest from the Fade what kind of spirit was he. lets say for fun for this post that#he was a spirit. I feel like there's quite a few different things that could work in that scenario#he has wit in terms of smarts & snark & whimsy. he was part of a movement that opposed tyranny and valued freedom. back then he wanted#to protect innocents. he's charismatic and good w/ people. he was a loyal friend to solas and later on was loyal to briala. he's calm and#level-headed. steady. a slow arrow makes its way to its target/goal slowly but steadily and you dont see it coming#Wit.. Loyalty.. Friendship.. Freedom.. Steadfastness.. Charm.. Protection.. Resolve.. Duty#my personal hc atm tho is- if he was- Guidance ◕‿◕. “'I kindled nothing' Felassan said. [...] 'I merely offered guidance.'"#he spent the rebellion guiding an army as a General and giving Solas guidance on how to be a good leader interact w/ people be the face#of a rebellion and to stay on the right path as one of his advisors. later he was Briala's hahren/elder giving her guidance through TME#he signs codexes like ask for the slow arrow and i will help/guide you. he was looking after those of flesh and fade in the lighthouse#guidance can be given from both a second-in-command (subordinate) role and from a superior (elder to mentee) role#when we see him in a memory Solas welcomes the spirits in elven then says “lasa ghilan” which means grant/give guidance#and the very next thing that happens is that Felassan speaks. an Arrow gives direction. it POINTS THE WAY..

I get that the Caitlyn hate is tiring as fuck, but lets not defend her so hard that we start giving her unearned credit that results in her looking WORSE.
Caitlyn did not know Ambessa was behind the memorial attack. It might seem like a good idea to think she's having some kind of gigabrain moment in this scene where she puts everything together, but that's not what is happening. If she did know Ambessa was behind the attack, Caitlyn would look worse for working with her anyway and being open to her teachings and training.
Caitlyn is all raw exposed nerves barely held together by her singular focus of catching Jinx. She's traumatized, grieving, riddled with guilt for not taking the shot when she had the chance, and she just lost Vi. She wasn't even fully paying attention to Ambessa before hearing her name. After her initial shock, here's what I think is going through her mind.
Yet more people who look to her to be a leader, to fill the hole her mother left behind, which she's been struggling with as she told Vi. But then, who else if not her could fill this role? And what damage they could do. She lead a strike team to stop a full blown invasion. She knows how bad things could get with someone like Salo in charge. If she refuses and the nomination goes to someone who immediately launches a full scale invasion, it will be on her as well. Of course she also realizes this can help her mission to capture Jinx.
What we shouldn't forget is that Caitlyn has never had any agency in her life. Privilege, yes, but without freedom. Her mother has always decided what Caitlyn could and couldn't do, like being a enforcer and seeing what the world is really like beyond the bubble of ignorance her parents kept her in. Her mother is dead, and here is Ambessa, a warlord, yes, but also a maternal figure. Ambessa is nominating her to be in charge, to be the one who decides. That is a powerful thing for an early twenty-something year old who has never even had full control of her own life. Especially now that she's trying so hard to be what everyone expects of her. Her mother disapproved of her being an Enforcer, but Ambessa is recognizing her for it and elevating her. Ambessa is giving her validation that her mother largely withheld.
When her brows furrow it's with determination to do what she feels she must, and Ambessa doesn't speak until she sees it.
Caitlyn is smart and she knows Ambessa is too. She understood that Ambessa was choosing her for a reason, but I think Caitlyn underestimates how ruthless Ambessa is, and also overestimates her own ability to counter Ambessa and not be manipulated by her to a degree. Which she has, that's why she replies to Vi with "I KNOW!" in episode 8.
But Ambessa also underestimated Caitlyn who doesn't turn out to be the easily controlled puppet she wanted. Arguing that Caitlyn knew all along that Ambessa was behind the memorial attack and what she wanted to achieve is basically saying that Caitlyn allowed herself to be manipulated. It doesn't line up with anything she says or does in later episodes either, where we see her at her worst, even though she's still calling out Ambessa, and she slowly comes back to herself until she gets the last push when she sees Vi again.
Because I don’t think just describing it is as effective, let’s go through the scene where Caitlyn becomes the general. (Note: These gifs have been edited for time and comprehension.)
What’s important to remember before watching this is that we’ve been shown many times now that Caitlyn is a detective. She has the unique power to walk into a crime scene, observe the surroundings, and make logical deductions from the enviroment.
With that in mind look at Caitlyn’s face here after the initial shock of being nominated. She looks down and her eyes start twitching. She’s thinking hard about something.
Tumblr media
And then we cut to Ambessa pounding her chest and see glimpses of her henchman arranging the attack on the memorial, in addition to her silencing all the loose ends that could lead back to her. I don’t think this is just for our benefit, I think this is a glimpse into Caitlyn’s mind. (Gif sped up for time)
Tumblr media
And then we cut back to Caitlyn, who is now looking around at her surroundings and watching the peer pressure start to unfold. As Maddie and the other Enforcers begin to beat their chests in rhythm to Ambessa’s prompting, Caitlyn looks back up at Ambessa with hatred. Watch those brows furrow.
Tumblr media
In this moment Caitlyn KNOWS. She knows Ambessa set up the attack. She knows she was wrong for attacking the undercity. She knows she fucked up by letting her anger at Jinx get the best of her and for creating a rift between her and Vi. And most importantly… she KNOWS that Ambessa is using her.
Note that Caitlyn doesn’t start moving forward until after Ambessa says “come, child.” And when she finally does start walking forward it’s with a slow deliberate knowing pace. She even turns her head and keeps her eyes glued to Ambessa as she walks past her. She may not know WHY Ambessa is doing this, but she’s not stupid. She knows what her name unlocks, having just spent the past 2 episodes abusing her namesake’s power.
Tumblr media
But the writing is on the wall now. She has no choice. Whatever it is Ambessa is doing, she can’t stop this nomination. She will have to accept the power. And I think here she is finally FINALLY realizing how fucked up she is. She has just become Marcus. A pawn in a larger game. And the ONLY benefit she can see is that she can use this power to find Jinx and bring her to justice, so her memory of her mother can finally rest.
And Ambessa knows this too. That’s why she leans in and whispers “your mother will have Justice!” And that’s when Caitlyn finally assumes the role of martial law general.
Tumblr media
She doesn’t want to be there.
She doesn’t want that power.
But she can’t turn away now.
She’s stuck.
And she KNOWS it.

#I also think american exceptionalism and their bizarre cultural one-way street isolation plays a role#i think it's different if you actually see other countries as equals and see that they have female leaders and realise that it's#not going downhill it's not solving everything it's business as usual and it's just another boring fucking politician#and this makes the gender of the candidate LESS (not saying no) issue people obsess about or feel a need to discuss#(e.g. people laying into the appearance of female politicians? certainly misogyny. making jokes about cooking and shoes? definitely too#but I feel like that was more a 'gotta insult these fucking politicians' and gender being one of the targets when people want to do that)#but if you're the US and giant parts of the populace think they're the specialmost extra complicatedest country in this our planetworld#the fact that it works for so many other countries takes a much lower priority#because 'yeah sure a woman can govern a....'checks notes' Fineland and United Kingdom of England or Germanland'#but the US of freedom? we got a red button and what if she's on her period!!?! We are a REAL country!!'#not to mention how deeply entrenched the idea of the US as being CONSTANTLY under attack is and the president as the PROTECTOR#and that protector needs to be daddy of course#i also think the different attitude to leaders plays a role#because a part of misogyny is how much people love to HATE women - to sink their teeth into them and demonise them for every flaw#so any country that has some kind of weird worship of their leaders or sees them as some heroes or extra-class of person*#in my opinion might have a harder time to elect a woman because the moment a woman becomes a candidate#you just have to find the right flaw to go on and on about to make the population absolutely hate her or question her competency#meanwhile the general slack we cut men means they can do whatever but somehow still be compatible with that concept of leadership#(*not just the US ....though a lot of other countries with similar attitudes to their leaders are not standing out as democracies tbh)

Something something about the alien hand call in 7x05 and Buck being the one being strangled.
Something something about Buck grappling with this new part of himself and coming out to people. Something something about the ‘fear’ of being judged or treated differently having him in a stranglehold because it’s still new to him and he doesn’t have it figured out himself yet.
Something something about being in 2 minds about telling people, about revealing himself - because the alien hand syndrome in this call occurs when the brains two lobes are separated - the connection severed - the brain is split in two
