kit connor isn’t a small guy okay? he’s 19 now, the same age as jason when he came back to gotham. in my head, jason is this huge dude, but obviously still has a bit of a baby face bc he is still a child!

and you can clearly tell a difference between a 13-14 y/o kit connor and 19 y/o kit connor, so it’s proving it’s not unrealistic for jason to come back as a tank

also this isn’t part of the red headed jason propaganda (i could live without that tbh), but it’d be a fun coincidence in and of itself wouldn’t it?

this one is more of a typecast and what more people would go for anyway. he’s already played the blonde sporty bf to the dark-haired nerd, he can do it again. (i wouldn’t really have joe locke as tim tho, bc i’d want someone equally as muscular, and not just remaking heartstopper again, but ig i wouldn’t be absolutely opposed)

A thought I had just now, if Reno were to live to the Future era, he’d likely be around the same age if not a bit older than Menos

I don’t know for certain the math on that, considering all we know is Demons have longer lifespans than Humans, that 60 is considered young for them (but still old enough to be in the military), and that Reno went from a small child to (I think) young adult in 50 years. Personally I use a 3:1 ratio for years, with Demons having triple the life span, though we technically don’t have solid evidence. But regardless, I’m pretty sure Reno being around that age range would hold up

Now it makes me wish that at some point we saw a Future era Reno and have him and Menos interact. Hopefully on good terms so that Menos doesn’t get more emotional damage, but it would probably still be disorienting for him to meet his son at around his own age, especially when he’s only ever seen him as a young child

I know why we couldn’t have had it, since Reno basically dies during the Present era story and the events that caused it don’t get reversed until the very end of the game, at which point there’s no real point to re-introducing him, especially in this new era with a whole new model and potentially even a talk sprite. But now I kind of want it, especially since he’d probably be the only other character in the game outside of us time travelers who could be around in all three Eras, given the Demons’ lifespans. Well, not taking into account his death that is

then physically dragging himself from the lowest level of zaun to piltover, much like how viktor spent his youth reaching toward the promise piltover offered, but only if he could "pull himself up by the boot straps" and get there on his own. socioeconomic forces working against him be damned.

i appreciate arcane reminding us of viktor's origins - the reason he is so called to help people and, eventually, save himself - and putting jayce through the ringer - the contrast between he and viktor's lived experiences is front and center throughout season 1. the writers send jayce, and the audience, on a grueling journey to contemplate those experiences and how they've manifested in these intertwined characters.

we need to stop equating lack of independence with lack of maturity. people that live with their parents or have a caregiver or don't work or need more support than others aren't inherently immature. there's lots of reasons why people would be in this situation, even outside of disability (plenty of cultures out there expect people to live with their parents past what we consider the beginning of adulthood), and regardless of the reason we deserve support and community through what is already likely to be an isolating experience. don't make it worse for us

1.there were trees at the beginning of the world! there were trees so long ago that they predate bacteria that causes wood to decay. when a tree fell, it would lie there in stasis and there wasn’t any way of breaking down wood xylem on a molecular level in that way.

2. it seems obvious to say, but wood eating bacteria are literally incapable of comprehending what they’re breaking down. It’s just not information conciously available to a microorganism. they don’t know what they’re deconstructing, where it came from, bacteria have no way to even fathom the existence of a tree as a concept.

3. Regardless of the facts above, the world we live in today is a world where wood inevitably decomposes

it is worth fighting the unkillable god no matter how pointless it seems. it is worth taking the risk even though youre trying to accomplish something impossible. the reality in which you live was also once reality in which trees didn’t rot. You live in a reality that allows for existence before the possibility of destruction. you live in a reality where uncomprehending microbes break down matter that is so far beyond the scope of their comprehension that it feels comical to specify something so obvious. you live in a reality that occasionally allows unshakeable physical truths to be altered with no warning.

It is worth fighting the unkillable god because trees are so old they predate the source of their destruction, and it still did not spare them. It is worth fighting the unkillable god because bacteria rots unthinkingly, because there is room in our cosmos for destruction without comprehension on the part of the destroyer. It is worth fighting the unkillable god because now and then reality retracts the promise of immortality without fanfare, and when that happens there is no mercy for the ancient. the unmaking is not softer for the desecrators ignorance. for all things, existence is endless until the exact point where it ends.

so you might as well try to kill the unkillable god. it doesn’t seem likely, but at the beginning of the world, trees didn’t rot. so you never know! you never know

I didn’t share this before, but I took this video on night before Belphie was diagnosed with FIP. he’d stopped walking. if I placed him somewhere, he’d just crumple. finally I managed to get this weird, wobbly walk from him with a meat gogurt.

compare this video to the one I posted earlier today, where he’s flinging himself into the air like a frog! I 100% believe he would’ve died that week without the medication, and now he’s thriving. now he gets to be a happy, chaotic kitten. now he gets to grow up.
