(sorry for horrible grammar - it's 2 am, and I don't know why I am even adding this lol)

"...So the greatest vampire of the millennial is granting us a visit... quite the honor I say...?"

The grim look on his face was replaced with a fake mocking smile - very intentionally showing of the gleaming pair of fangs.

"Get out of my way, Hoshina. You know I am not dealing with second-hand scum like your kind. I have matters to settle with your master. So stay down on your rug and don't waste my time.."

Hoshina giggled, as his guest took a few steps forward, eyes locked on the gateway behind him. The candles in the floor shimmered lightly, shifting their colours to a cold blue for a blink of an eye, unnaturally bright for their size.

Narumi Gen was a more than capable vampire. An exceptional talent in his ranks. Many praising him to be the best of his kind. To his suprise even he hadn't been able to recognize the other presence around.

Only when the "rug" started moving ever so slightly, slowly revealing more and more teeth on a light gray skull, his attention was drawn back again.

"Impressive, right?" Hoshina emptied the rest of his glass and kept his eyes locked on their intruder while a beast of remarkable size seemed to unfold behind him.

"...debatable. But...interesting, I'll admit..." Narumi frowned. "Well at least that explains the rumors about most your... recent "activities" in the regions villages.....former villages that is... Apparently your pet cannot only be discreet but also... very effective.."

Meanwhile two bright blue eyes glared at the intruder, fixing his every move, seemingly ready to strike on command.

Hoshina let out a light-hearted little laugh. "Nah come on, that's unfair Narumi." He gently scratched the skull of the monsterous creature next to him, as if to emphasize the comment about his pet. "Actually he's a very gentle soul, you know?"

Blue eyes still glaring.

"U-huh...friendly like a puppy... One might as well adopt him..." Narumi deadpanned.

"Of course he's friendly, silly!" Another giggle. "I'll take good care of him, there's no need for your concern."

Hoshina's way of sweet chattering was regularly getting on his nerves. Just as always Narumi began to lose his patience. "A pity." Narumi groaned as he stroke back his bangs to reveal his as well, brightly glowing pair of eyes now piercing back at them. "I was hoping we could get to know each other properly, you know?"

With noticable echo over the halls the gate behind them opened.

"I suggest we postpone that offer of yours for now. It is not our intention to disturb your appointment."

With the empty wine glass Hoshina made a last inviting gesture.

"After you, Narumi."

I came up with several outline ideas.. and while I was drawing I was very eager to record all my work with the timelaps feature in CSP.. except for when I didn't anymore...... I am very shhhmmmart!!! (థ౪థ)... so now sorry no WIP timelaps...

<- it was basically just a lightning/shading try-out...and then I ended up keeping it, cause *mad scientist laughing* THAT IS WHAT I DO, I DO MADNESS HERE!!! ( ◣∀◢)ψ But I am sucha simp for magenta/blue colour palettes... and it was more comfortable to look at. But the warmer look has its own appeal to it aswell..... I can't decide...

Helena: Caleb, get dressed. We’re going out.

Caleb: [mumbling] Oh, but Dru and I were just getting comfortable.

Helena: She looks like she’d rather be elsewhere. And so would I. I’m tired of being a recluse with you. All I can think about when I’m hanging around here is my next meal.

Caleb: But where are we-

Helena: It’s a surprise! Would you rather I ask your sister instead?

Lilith: Where are you two off to? Oh, are you having one of your little mental conversations. You know I hate that. It’s so unfair! Fine, don’t tell me. But at least take your hellcat with you. [to rubber ducky] I guess it’s just you, me, and that… thing. Now, what are we going to do about them keeping secrets from us?

Helena: Why have we never taken this path?

Caleb: Enemy territory.

Helena: Oh my god, is this the way to Vlad’s? You have to show me his place!

Caleb: [weakly] Helena…

Helena: [shudders] Ostentatious and creepy as fuck. It’s strange how little I noticed that first night. And what I do remember is all fragmented and blurry, like a dream.

Caleb: Well, you had an awful lot to drink, and you did technically die. [ruminative pause] Then, of course, there was all the glamouring-

Helena: Glamouring?

Caleb: Vampire party trick. Like hypnosis, but more sophisticated. Once you learn it, you can make yourself as discreet or flashy as you’d like. Most humans have encountered vampires without even realizing it. If they stumble into this place  — and make it out alive — they likely won’t remember how to return. Straud and the other ancients keep it well-shrouded.

Helena: [nervously] Does it work on other vampires? I’ve barely seen any-

Caleb: We can always see our kind for what they are. You’ve just been unobservant.

Helena: Hey! I’ve been distracted. It’s hard not to have tunnel vision when you’re in perpetual survival mode.

Caleb: You’re feeling better now. I can tell.

Helena: I’m full on plasma and ready to party!

Caleb: [chuckles] Seriously?

Helena: Well, not quite. You’ll see.

Caleb: You know, I could just peek into your head and-

Helena: [teasingly] Too bad your morals will never allow it.

I was rereading the hero x vampire heat season snippet you wrote and was wondering if you could do a similar one? Like a hero that is very shy and embarrassed about being attracted to villain, and maybe even really likes the villain's voice, and the villain teases and/or reassures them it's totally normal/okay?

“Did you know—” the villain’s lips were dangerously close to the hero’s burning ear “—I find your fangs adorable?”

The hero hadn’t expected a kidnapping to turn into this, to turn into a romantic conversation by the fireplace. It was cruel how sweet the villain could be. The hero had been nervous enough already when the villain had asked them kindly to get into the car.

Kindly with a gun pointing at them.

The hero had been shot before and they knew from experience that it wasn’t a particularly nice experience.

“Those fangs could rip out your throat,” the hero said. Slowly, the villain drew shapes with their index finger into the hero’s thigh. That was cruel, too. The villain knew they were sensitive, especially today.

“Wouldn’t that be wonderful?” the villain asked. “That way this spluttery mouth could finally shut up and find some peace…my colleagues hate how much I talk about you.”

“You’re mean,” the hero said. They could feel themselves slipping back into their desires. There was a line, a very fine line between control and instincts and somehow the villain managed to dance on that line with the hero perfectly.

That had its own perks. Sometimes, the hero welcomed the challenge. But not really today in particular. Some days were more manageable whereas on others the hero felt like a wild animal.

“You asked me to do this, don’t you remember?”

“I asked you to make sure I wouldn’t kill any people,” the hero said. “And that I wouldn’t go crazy.”

“And I’m doing that. This is called damage control, darling.” The villain leaned over and the hero could feel their soft breath on the hero’s neck. “I hope you like it.”

“Curse you,” the hero whispered. Instinctively, they cupped the villain’s jaw and pulled them close enough for their cheeks to touch. “You know what this does to me.”

“Poor hero,” they mused. The villain’s hand travelled down to the hero’s knee. “Tell me, dear. Is my heart beating fast?”

They took the hero’s hand and pressed it against their own chest.

It nearly broke the hero. Desiring someone was one thing. Being subdued to their own nature was humbling and embarrassing. It was something that plagued them regularly.

But being desired? Someone feeling the same things they did? Someone who was willing to treat them this well…?

The hero swallowed.

A while ago, some people they had trusted had treated them like an animal. They’d been imprisoned for being a vampire. Those people had promised them to keep others safe from them but it had been raw torture. And now, the villain let them walk around freely. They gave them delicious food and tasty drinks.

They spoiled them.

“Can you feel it? Can you tell how fast my heart is beating?” the villain asked. Their voice was deeper now, more alluring.

“You…”

“You want to bite, don’t you? Sink your teeth into my neck and suck…”

“I shouldn’t—”

“Why not?” the villain asked. Gently, they grabbed the hero’s hips and pulled them towards them until the hero was sitting on the villain’s lap. In response, the hero gasped softly and held onto the villain’s clothing. “Hm?”

“…I shouldn’t even like you in the first place. We are enemies.”

“And yet, you asked me to take care of you.”

“…maybe.” The hero closed their eyes. The villain’s heart was beating fast but it wasn’t only desire. They were nervous.

The hero wasn’t sure if the villain was nervous because of them or something else.

“I trust you,” the hero said. “I believe that you will make the right choices when it comes to me. I can’t explain it but…you can deal with me. You can handle me. You know what I need. And that is kind of scary.”

Despite the villain’s endless advances towards the hero, they had never forced the hero to do anything. They always let the hero make the first move.

“It’s perfectly normal to be attracted to me when you’re…in this state,” the villain said. “I will not—”

“That’s the problem. It doesn’t stop once this phase is over. It never really stops.” The hero’s ears were burning and they could feel the villain’s heartbeat increase quickly.

“We should get some band aids for my neck then,” the villain said.

The hero couldn’t tell who was more excited.

Makoto Hideki 誠秀樹

Backstory;

Makoto was born by a mother who never wanted him, but was forced to by her peers to go with the pregnancy. She cared for him, and tried her best, but with each passing day began to hate him. She hated for the life she could of had, and began to fear him for the way he made her feel. He was a loud and noisy child. A “nuisance.”

Things got worse when his Quirk finally realized. Panic, the storing and passage of anxiety through physical touch. Due to the seemingly invisible manner of his quirk, Makoto was put as “quirk-less” and just an unexpected statistic. But his quirk was very much there, and soon began to affect his life. His quirk would store up his anxiety, causing his body to have difficulty naturally calming down. Makoto became more anxious and constantly felt like in the middle of an anxiety attack. At school, and with friends, he was a very loud and touchy person. And so, he would unknowingly activate his quirk on those around them. This caused his once friends to become anxious around him and cut him off. Eventually, his whole school began to shun and outcast him, labelling him a “curse” and “bad luck.” Junior high was hell.

His relationship with his mother began to thin too with his quirk effecting her greatly. She became anxious around him and began to fear him. And with each day, she hated him even more. And overtime, the overwhelming anxiety began to hurt her heart. Makoto’s final straw was in highschool. Makoto failed any chance he had into getting into UA or into some hero course. To add onto that, his grades began to drop. His quirk made everything unbearable. He couldn’t stay calm, he couldn’t sleep. He began scratching at his skin out of anxiety. He began growing grey hairs. One night, he found a post his mother made on the internet. Venting about him and her life. Saying if she could turn back time, she would make sure she never had him. This broke Makoto. The once loud and touchy boy became quiet, reserved, and sometimes even dead-eyed. His relationship with his mother was destroyed. He could never look at her the same, and soon, they began to fight verbally.

Makoto and his mother looked, for years, to Doctors to help improve his anxiety. And finally, a Doctor identified his quirk: Panic. He felt like everything his peers said was right. He really was a “curse,” and his mother must of thought so too. Once home, she broke down and a fight began.

His mother yelled, asking him why he couldn’t be a “good child.” A “normal child.” Makoto screamed back at his mother, saying she never loved him. That’s he’s seen the post. The two screech at each other, before Makoto starts breaking down crying, asking his mother why he was born. His mother apologizes, going forward to try and comfort Makoto, but he pushes her away. And in that moment, accidentally activates his quirk.

And upon touch, his mother had a heart attack and dies.

Makoto tried to call for help, but their phones got lost in the fight. He scoured through their house for a phone, but by the time he found one, their mother was already dead. Makoto cried and screamed, eventually passing out from all the stress and emotional turmoil. It was the first time he had slept in a while.

The next day, he freaked out, reality hitting with his mother’s lifeless body. He didn’t know what to do? Did he call for help? A neighbor? Maybe the police? The anxiety was unbearable. Soon, it was time for school. With no answer, he anxiously went to school telling himself he’d “figure it out.” But a day became another, and a week became a month.

His anxiety also began to build up. It hit a new low as his sleep deprivation was setting in. He became increasingly paranoid and began to hallucinate. Until one night, he began to hallucinate that his mother’s dead corpse was moving. He believed she was coming back to life to kill him, and thus, punish him for what he did. He freaked out, and burned his house down.

ever notice that robin wood and daniel holtz both try to take revenge on the demons who killed their family members despite the fact that said demons now have souls and are good guys?

holtz definitely started out an innocent, but is deemed a villain because he doesn’t just go for angel, he also kills people and allies with demons and steals a baby to raise him in a torture dimension. fair enough!

robin funnily enough does not do all of that.

and yet when spike beats him (to a literal bloody pulp, mind you) spike is seen as some kind of hero and we’re supposed to sympathise and side with him. you know, instead of the traumatised four year old boy whose mother he murdered.

and also willow literally skinned a man alive for killing her girlfriend, but she is absolutely not given that type of treatment. she is given nuance and depth and a redemption arc and is not beaten down and essentially told to shut the fuck up instead of dealing with her grief through channels other than revenge.

just wondering if you guys ever noticed that because I did and I just think me and joss whedon need to have a polite conversation
