cultivating your hobbies to become that girl
as summer starts to end, i find my days a little emptier and im full of anticipation for the coming academic year. but the last thing i want to do is waste the last part of summer so now is the perfect time to cultivate or begin a new hobby, focusing on four areas to level up your body, skills, mind and passions! enjoy angels and i hope this gives you some inspiration.

body
having a hobby that helps you reach your dream body, maintain a healthy lifestyle or just help with your mental health (as moving your body always does!) is such a good idea. the past few months my workout schedule has decreased due to the amount of schoolwork i have had and exam season so now is the perfect time for me to get more disciplined and build up a good workout scheme. my hobbies based around my body are pilates or yoga, both of which help me with my fitness goals. here are some more ideas/inspiration for some hobbies you could start:
‘hot girl walks’ - set a goal for your daily steps and go on walks everyday to help you achieve that.
running daily.
swimming daily.
tennis or badminton daily.
joining a sports club such as football or gymnastics.
dance - could be by yourself at home following dance workouts!
strength training.
starting a fitness challenge - such as a month long youtube challenge.
start making your own fitness content! film videos or write tutorials.
bike riding daily.
skills
finding a hobby that helps you develop/cultivate your skills is so important. mine personally is cooking/baking as it helps me focus on giving my body what it needs, becoming more independent and providing for those i love. here are some ideas/inspiration:
painting.
making your own clothes - sewing, knitting or crocheting.
gardening.
scrapbooking.
photography.
drawing.
writing - poetry, novels, articles or anything similar.
acting - helps with public speaking, confidence and making friends.
jewellery making.
chess or a similar intense mental game - cultivates your thinking skills and mind.

finding a hobby that helps you mentally, especially if relevant to schoolwork or career plans is so helpful. mine is reading/engaging with literature as not only does it align with my academic work but also helps me with how i think, view the world and allows me to be more empathetic.

budgeting - good way of keeping track of and understanding money even if you aren’t planning on doing anything economics based!
journalling or keeping a diary.

finding a hobby around one of your passions is such a fun and unique way of engaging in things you enjoy. mine personally is visiting museums/areas of historical importance as i am so passionate about history.

visiting libraries/book shops - growing your wish list, finding new book inspo etc!
going to cooking classes, restaurants or cafes.
travelling to new areas (could be local or international) - perhaps to develop language skills, find places to hike etc.

starting a new course - i do several history courses, my most recent was on European empires!
making a blog, channel, instagram etc for a new hobby or interest.

for all i bang on about consumerism being bad i sure do like to purchase books, huh.
#i have bought. several. lately.#in my defense several of these are books that i have already read and really quite enjoyed or books from a series that i've been enjoying#like i got all the books from the wayward children series even though i've only read 3 or 4 of the 6 or so that are out#and part of me feels guilty about that bc i have also bought several books that i have not read#i'm trying to buy them at a discount so i'm not wasting a ton of money#some of the other ones i've got are long nonfiction or political texts that i know i'll never get through#in the span of a library loan#or that i want to annotate/mark as i read so i ensure that i grasp important sections#but like i do now have A Lot of books and i just got more today bc my self control is waning#and bc i'm going to school again soon and will be living on a dramtically reduced budget#but on the other hand i really feel like i should be buying stuff i need for living at school now#like not getting stuff i want but instead investing in like. stuff i can use for at-home workouts while at school#or a new pair of tennis or climbing shoes. etc etc.#so there's this weird guilt on top of the Wanting Of Things that i'm not really enjoying#idk i do feel like i'm leaning into some weird consumerist thing that i've def criticized online book people for doing#whether or not that's rational i'm not sure#bc what rubs me the wrong way is people who buy stuff and literally have no idea what it's about#and that seems a lil irresponsible and i have things to say about it#i'm sorry this is getting so rambly and off topic i'm just having a lot of thoughts about guilt and spending#and getting things i want vs rationing myself to only things i truly need#bc i lived for a while on the latter and only got stuff i Needed#instead of ever indulging myself with things that i wanted aside from like sweet snacks

2024 goals & resolutions 🎀
with 2024 right around the corner I figured it would be a good idea to list out some of my 2024 goals in the different areas of my life. I will have financial goals, health goals, fitness goals, academic goals, and relationship goals.
💕 Financial Goals
build my savings account to a minimum of 1000$ by the end of the year
save enough (~800$) to move into an apartment with my boyfriend
pay off my two credit cards, then use them sparingly
begin investing my money
use a monthly budget spreadsheet (loosely)
💕 Health Goals
Follow a semi anti inflammatory diet using the 80/20 principle
get closer to my goal weight range (healthy weight for my height)
only eat out on occasions, otherwise cook at home only
incorporate more whole foods into my diet
stay hydrated on a consistent level
💕 Fitness Goals
walk 7k-10k steps daily
keep a consistent weight lifting/cardio routine
begin attending pilates/workout classes
don't skip any of my yoga classes at my university
work on improving health and reaching my dream physique
💕 Academic Goals
raise my GPA closer to a 4.0
pass spring/fall classes with all B's/A's
keep a consistent study routine
turn in all assignments conplete and on time
increase class attendance as I am paying for my education and should utilize class time
💕 Relationship Goals
join one to two on campus clubs
make a friend or two within my major
take myself on solo dates
weekly dates with my boyfriend
keep in contact with all friends I make
💕 Random Goals
Read at least 3 books in their entirety throughout the year
Move into a new apartment/rented house
Continue regular posts on my tumblr
Get to N5/N4 level of Japanese proficiency
Get to conversational fluency in Spanish
Those are my goals for the next year! Given that there are 365 days in a year, I should be able to accomplish at least 85% of these!

STYLE
• Change my hair color
• Make a clothing vision board
• Find your signature scent
SPACE
• Organize my room
• Get rid of clothes/objects I no longer use
• Organize my workstation, make it an environment pretty, fun and productive
• Make your bed for 21 days
• Keep your room clean for 21 days.
BODY
• Find a skin care routine, invest in great skin products.
• Find a workout plan that works for you and stay consistent for a month.
• Get at least 8 hours of sleep for 21 days
MIND
• Set boundaries with school or work, prioritize my mental health.
• journal in the morning for a week Every day for two weeks, write down 3 things you are grateful for

flustered || ona batlle x reader ||
patri decides that she's over you trying to avoid ona when you come back to barcelona.
you hated the circumstances of your return to barcelona. you had spent so much time in london that you had almost forgotten that it was just a loan. your contract was nearly up, and you'd spend the last season of it back in barcelona, where you no longer felt like there was anything for you. it seemed like the team had completely replaced you, including ona.
your attempts at staying in london were futile. they didn't have the budget the keep you there for another season, not when barcelona had made an outrageous demand for money. jona wouldn't play you, so you didn't understand why they were so insistent on you coming back. still, you returned to spain and tried to get back into your old routine.
training was fairly easy for you. the exercises were different, but you went the same amount of days as you had in london. in your spare time, you went to the gym every single day. it was rare for you to stay in your apartment by yourself. occasionally, you let loose with the team on a bonding night, but never for too long.
it was silly, but you had a hard time being around ona and lucy. not a lot of the girls knew how you felt, but the ones who did left you alone. you had followed ona to england, but ended up staying for nearly two years longer than she did. something had happened up there, and it killed some of the girls not to know what it was.
truthfully, it hadn't been anything nearly as serious as you were making it out to be. you and ona had been friends, best friends at that. there had been seedlings of unfriendly feelings between the two of you, ones that didn't get better with the bit of distance between manchester and london. if anything, they only seemed to get worse for you. you couldn't be around ona without becoming a flustered mess.
it didn't help that when your eyes had met, she'd blush and look away as well. some might have taken that as a sign that she liked you back, but all it did was make you nervous. ona could have been a sure thing for you, but you were terrified of the idea that she liked you back. for some reason, you had convinced yourself that it was easier to pine over ona than to actually be happy with her.
"okay, enough of this!" patri shouted as she clapped her hands together. everybody looked over at her, and subsequently you as well. the two of you had been working out together. for the longest time, ona had been your gym partner at barcelona, and while patri was happy to do it, she couldn't stand watching you look longingly at ona from across the gym.
"patri, what are you doing?" you hissed as she dragged you over to where ona and lucy were running.
"both of you, start talking, now!" patri wasn't usually so forceful with you, and you weren't sure what to do except for obey. you hated that she knew how easily you'd submit with a little force, something you would never forgive leila for telling her. "come on now, i don't have all day."
"patri, please," you pleaded with her. unfortunately for you, the woman didn't relent. she only pushed you even closer to ona, who just barely managed to catch you. up close, you could see how flushed she was, and it didn't look like it was just coming from the workout. "ona, are you okay? you look a little…"
"i'm fine!" ona was quick to shout out at you. both of you winced at the sudden increase of volume.
"god, i can't watch this anymore," lucy muttered. she walked away, patri joining her as the two of them complained about you and ona. the look on your face was nothing short of confused. you could have sworn that lucy was dating ona, and the woman wouldn't have just left the two of you like that if it really was the case.
"a-aren't you going to go with lucy? it's not very nice of her to just leave you here. i'd never do that to my girlfriend," you said. ona's mouth opened and closed as the pieces clicked into place.
she had been so confused about why you were being distant. at first, she had chalked it down to you missing your arsenal teammates. however, as the season went on, she noticed how things were almost back to normal. the exception of you being distant with her had ona's mind absolutely spinning. she couldn't remember there being any tension whenever the two of you had last seen each other. if anything, you'd been a bit more affectionate at the last national camp.
"lucy is not my girlfriend. she thought you were at first," ona admitted. "then she thought it was either jana or patri. neither one of them are yours, right?"
"ona, i haven't had a girlfriend in nearly two years. not because i'm like a freak or anything, it's just hard for me sometimes. there was someone i did like at arsenal, but it didn't seem fair…" you trailed off, glad that you had stopped yourself before you said anything too embarrassing.
"fair?" ona asked you.
"it's not fair to be with someone if you love someone else," you said quietly. ona gently cradled your face in her hands as the two of you stood in the corner of the gym. "i went all the way to england to stay close to you."
"i didn't want to assume at first. and then, well, you never said anything. you just kind of got quiet, so i thought you were mad at me." both of you felt like idiots as the pieces fell into place around you.
"you were making me nervous. i couldn't say anything without mixing up my words. i didn't want to embarrass myself or say the wrong thing," you told her.
"you could never," ona reassured you. "can i kiss you?"
"take me on a date first," you laughed. ona sighed and nodded. she began to turn away from you, but you grabbed her and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "patri was my ride, so maybe coffee after practice?"
"you can come see my new coffee machine. the girls are all very impressed by it, even alexia," ona said proudly. you liked the sound of that, unsurprised that ona planned to take you back to her place. she knew that you were a homebody, and a familiar place would make you feel most comfortable.

productive ways to fill up your notebooks
money & savings tracker
it’s always a good idea to keep track of where your money is going and save when you can, especially if you’re looking to boost your finances and start taking charge of them. you can track your pay days, how much you receive, how much you can put away into savings, and budget the rest into what you’ll need until next pay day.
long & short-term to-do lists
a lot of us make daily to-do lists, but i also like to include long term to-do lists to keep track of the things i would like to achieve eventually. for example, a long term to-do would be to learn italian, while a short term or daily to-do would be to study italian for 20 minutes.
wishlist with a reward system
you may want to keep track of the things that you would like to buy for yourself, but if you want to be a bit smarter about it, you can make yourself a reward system tailored to your specific goals. for example, if your goal is to lose weight, you could allow yourself to spend a certain amount of money on your wishlist for every 5 or 10 pounds you lose depending on how much you’d like to lose.
books you want to read
i always see books i think look interesting or think i would like to read, but end up forgetting the title or where i saw it. you may want to keep track of the books you want to read and cross them off once you finish them.
prayer list
if you are religious or spiritual in a way where you pray or meditate, you may want to make a list of the things/people you want to pray for or meditate on.
habits you want to start with a plan for each
it’s easy to say you want to start waking up earlier, eating healthier, taking care of your skin, etc. but it can be difficult to make those things part of your routine without taking small steps each day to get used to doing those things each day. have one broad habit in mind and figure out what it takes to get there.
fitness tracker
whether you’re just getting into working out or if you’ve been doing it for a while, it can be useful to keep track of which workouts you do each day so you can see what you do the most and what you want to do more.
random beauty & health tips
i don’t know about you, but i hear random beauty and health tips all the time in media or just in daily life, but end up forgetting what i’ve learned. you may want to write them down when you hear them so next time you’re in a situation where you could use it, you remember it.
specific monthly goals & tracker
as y’all know, i make 5 goals at the beginning of each month and post them on my blog. i highly recommend this, as it is a great way to put emphasis on certain things you want to focus on at monthly intervals rather than trying to do every new thing at once.

✮ uramichi :
he hasn't been in many relationships. maybe one or two actual serious ones, but otherwise he's been too busy with gymnastics and pulling himself out of holes to focus on dating.
so imagine you coming into the picture.
he's not against taking the initiative, but he'd probably appreciate it more if you made the first move.
even later in his life, he isn't too concerned about dating, but he's not opposed to it either.
you have to understand, uramichi is affected heavily everyday by his depression. there's some days where he doesn't even recognize himself, so you're going to have to earn his trust and learn him from the inside out.
as an actual boyfriend, uramichi will put his best effort into you.
he'll try to cut down on drinking and smoking, to some people that's not a lot, but he is trying really hard. unless you don't really mind either of those things, then the amount he'll cut back will be smaller.
he's touch-starved, but it'll take him a while to warm up to it, but once he does? oh boy.
who needs sleeping pills or booze when he can just hold you? his sundays off are reserved for just lounging on the couch together after his workout.
since he's older, he'll probably see your relationship as endgame...after you date for a couple of months. that nagging voice in the back of his head telling him that time is running out is the most annoying thing.
he tries, he takes you out. not on like, overly expensive dates but he'll go for walks with you, run errands with you, maybe take you to the bar with the rest of the cast
the cast probably doesn't find out about your relationship until later on, they catch him calling you on one of his breaks. usahara almost has a heart attack.
does have a temperment, you will fight. but uramichi is not one to not take responsibility.
if he says something completely out of line, he'll feel horrible and spend the rest of the day (or week...or month...or year...) trying to make up for it.
this is all new to him, but he loves you with all he has.
✮ kumatani :
first of all, you've got to like cats. if you don't, it's a dealbreaker. even if you're allergic, you have to at least appreciate cats.
kumatani isn't too concerned with dating, he just goes with the flow really. you'll probably have to make the first move.
he's a morally driven person, if you don't match his morals, he won't even bother with you. but if you have similar ideas to him, he's more willing to open up.
you make him smile, he likes being in your presence that much. typically, he finds stupid jokes annoying but you get a pass.
movie night dates!! he doesn't look it, but he loves showing you his favorite low budget films.
he's more casual about your relationship. he's not gonna come outward and tell everyone, but he won't deny it when someone brings it up.
takes you fishing with him, even if you don't really like it. just having you sit by him is enough, making conversation or reading a book, as long as you're in his vicinity.
he's also not one to beg, but assuming you aren't allergic to cats, he'll do everything in his power to convince you to adopt one with him.
nonchalant™, but let someone fuck with you. goes 0 to 100 real quick. he's not against using physical force to defend his morals, or you.

he's a good boyfriend, he has his moments, but overall he's just very serious. his love is shown more through his actions rather than words.

him being oblivious is an understatement.
you're his first real relationship, but let's be clear: just because he's clueless doesn't mean he's a baby. he's still a grown ass man.
he's a lot more laid-back than the other two, and a lot more open with his love.

How do I truly become a pink Pilates princess on a budget?

When I think of a pink pilates princess, I think of a girly person that romanticized their life in terms of wellness! a lot of people find the phrase annoying but i think it’s fun and cute! Here’s some things you can do to feel more like a pink pilates princess 💞

1. Doing pilates!
There’s mat pilates (only need a mat) and reformer pilates (using a reformer machine). Going to classes multiple times a week can be a tad expensive, so an alternative would be:
A) Signing up for paid subscriptions that have detailed classes for e.g; Alo moves, Pilates anytime, glo etc.
B) Following videos from youtubers that do mat pilates. My fave channels are; Move with Nicole, Sanne Vloet, Dansique fitness (she mostly does hitt pilates videos)
* Yoga is another amazing way to get movement in and feel connected to your body and spirit.
* Go on a hot girl walk! Going on mini walks around your neighborhood or even your house allows you to get some steps in daily.
2. Eating well!

This is different for everyone but here are some ideas that you can add to your diet;
- Drinking green juice
- Try out yogurt bowls! It's my favourite breakfast food because it's easy to make and can be very nutritious depending on what I put into it. I like to add greek yogurt, a nice granola, matcha powder, frozen and fresh berries, pomegranate, ground flax and almonds🫐🍓
- Increasing protein intake. A lot of people have tried to eat 1 g per each lb that they weigh daily and have felt really good. My fellow anemic girlies, please increase your protein intake if you can!
- Taking your vitamins/supplements! get a blood test done to see what you’re deficient in and research supplements that might be helpful for you personally.
3. Finding cute workout+lounge sets

Working out and going out in cute loungewear and workout sets can make you feel really nice and girly! I like to thrift nice quality brands like lululemon or even purchase specific pieces from depop and poshmark! Amazon is a good place to find sets as well but I would recommend buying high quality secondhand pieces💞 Some good brands to look out for are lululemon, alo yoga, halara and girlfriend collective.
4. Get cute exercise equipment

Get pink workout equipment if you’d like! Marshalls, dollarama, and amazon sell workout equipment that you can get for $5-$20! I got the pink fila mat in the pic above from marshalls for $19.99:) Here are some equipment ideas:
- yoga mat
- yoga strap
- wrist/ankle weights
- 5 lbs dumbbells
- gym bag
*these things aren’t needed btw! just ideas if you’d like to have more equipment.
5. Practice self care
You can do whatever self care that you'd like but here are some examples that you can incorporate into your life:
- Take a relaxing bath (the book "ritual baths" has amazing bath ideas
- Engage in your favourite hobbies (sports, reading, watching a tv show etc.)
- Spend time with your loved ones
- Take care of your skin and have a routine down. You do not need 15 products but even adding a serum or a spot treatment to your routine can improve your skin!

I am the only smart and social guy in my class and I’m also he only gay one, normally I prefer to hang with the girls and do all my projects with them…but this time our teacher forced all us guys together, in time for the group project I overheard the boys talking about making me a real Man/boy with there phones. Help!
You have your first project meeting. You are sitting in a circle with the boys. Everyone is playing with their cell phones, picking their noses or scratching their balls. You take a deep breath. And you think you have an idea for an environmental project. Collecting trash on the bank of the creek behind the school. And classifying the garbage according to the possibility of recycling.
Dude, that's a lame idea, grunts one of the guys. We were thinking something like "how far can hard training get you in a week". The other guys applaud. And one presses the "Activate" button on the Chronivac app.
Hehehe, you're not into sports at all. But that sounds like a cool project. Shit, why didn't you come up with that idea. You do a little research on the Internet. Calculate the budget, write to a few sponsors. Look for sportswear, nutritional supplements, also look for sources of potentially illegal support. The other guys play with their cell phones. One of them says you should chill out. It's enough if you start tomorrow.
Project diary, day 1:
Erkan sent me a message this morning that he and the other guys will be at the gym at 08:00. I should come already dressed. I don't even remember that I already got a bag with gym clothes yesterday. But in any case, there is one next to my desk. I put on a tank top, some shorts, socks and shoes. While brushing my teeth in the bathroom, I think to myself how ridiculous the way-too-big clothes look on me. On the bus, I'm a little uncomfortable with my appearance. And between the boys in the gym even more so. But it's a project, we have to go through with it.
We spend six hours in the gym. Has been amazingly fun. Somehow I was the only one sweating. The boys just played with their cell phones again. Hopefully there are good pictures for the project documentation. After the training I wanted to take a shower, but the guys took me directly to their regular shisha bar. I have rarely felt so uncomfortable. Because everyone else is bigger, more muscular and more masculine than me. And because I'm the only guest in sweaty sports gear. Besides, I'm starting to feel the soreness. I just fall into bed in the evening. Unable to move.
Project diary, day 2:
At 06:00 I get an address from Bogdan. Barbershop from his cousin. Meeting at 07:00 so that I no longer have to train with the ridiculous blond curls. I'm supposed to put on yesterday's clothes. I didn't have the clothes hung up yesterday. Actually I wanted to put on fresh clothes today So, of course, nothing has dried. Brushing teeth must go quickly, I'm late. Fuck, I actually finally get beard growth? Must take a closer look at me later in the gym.
So far it does not get at all. Bogdan's cousin not only gives me a new haircut, he also shaves me. In my opinion, completely unnecessary. But the result is cool. For the first time I can imagine in the gym on the weight bench in front of the mirror that the project will be a success. Otherwise, the workout goes like yesterday. After the six-hour program, I was looking forward to a shisha. But Ivo takes me to the outdoor pool. One hour of swimming One hour on the lawn. One hour of swimming. Ivo allows me to take a cold shower without shower gel after swimming. It feels good. And I like my tight white ass.
Project diary, day 3:
When Akay sends me the message to remember that my gym clothes are still in the locker, I'm already awake for an hour. Pushups and situps. I got quite a tantrum from my mom yesterday about how my room looks. Hey, the laundry isn't that dirty yet. And I'll clean up the cum-soaked handkerchiefs tonight.
Since the rest is as I said in the gym, I go only in tracksuit with white socks and Adiletten in the bus. I look so antisocial. Makes me somehow horny. In the gym I'm alone today. Fuck, to be honest, the losers only disturb. Let them hang out, I have my own rhythm. And it beats out of iron. For solid muscles. I take a break only to pour protein shakes into me. And on the way to the outdoor pool I make a quick stop at Bogdan's cousin. Trimming the sides And trim the beard.
At dinner, my mother tells me that I stink as much as my room. My father is on my team. He pumps himself. And considerably more than me. It's good to have support at home for my goals. I eat my five chicken breasts with rice, drink two more liters of water and then go to bed. Dad looks in again, laughs, says that nothing stinks as cool as pump sweat and asks if he should get me a syringe cure. Fist bump, old man! But I stay natural for now.
Project diary, day 4:
Was horny while pumping. Today on the bench 150 kilograms pressed. Need new tank top. The old one stinks excellent. But is too tight.
In the evening once again met with the guys on Shisha. Was cool. But they are not focused enough. Juri has scratched his belly. Ey, hardly a six-pack to see. Would I be ashamed of myself!
Project diary, day 6:
Ey, yesterday completely forgotten the diary. Was in great shape in the gym. In the afternoon then posed at the pool. Trained on the pull-up bars. The fans applauded. And in the evening with my old man bombed our arms for an hour. I'd like to have his biceps too.
Today is free. Sascha got me an appointment with the tattoo artist. Before again Barber And afterwards outdoor pool. And then party. The boys and me to the disco. Man, I could have had them all! And I fucked two guys on the toilet. Shit, I have so much energy, I really have to cum four times a day. At least!
Project diary, day 7:
I can only hope that one of the guys makes the presentation about our project. I'm so totally not up for it. I already wrote the damn diary. And I was the guinea pig. I'm a fucking hot lab rat.
One of the guys said last night that I used to be a nerd and a weakling. Must have been a long time ago.
