more good news from tiktok: they’ve started blocking celebrities.

they’re calling it block party 2024. just blocking and ignoring countless celebrities who havent said shit about palestine. influencers, actors, anyone who went to the met gala, whatever, they’re getting blocked. and people keep talking about how cathartic it is, how good it feels, how they never realized they could DO that. there was some kind of subconscious law against blocking famous people, but it’s broken, and people are LOVING it. and it’s WORKING. a social media/digital advertising coordinator was talking about how ad companies are PANICKING, because they can’t accurately target anymore. so many big influencers, including fucking LIZZO started talking about palestine the MOMENT their follower counts started going down. and the best part? no one is forgiving them. lizzo posted a tiktok asking people to donate to palestinian families, and all the comments just said you’re a multimillionaire. put your money where your mouth is. blocked.

i feel like i’m witnessing the downfall of celebrity culture, right here right now. people are waking up.

I am not combing through and vetting the op of every post I reblog, I block people very liberally for saying stupid shit in comments and replies and I give the people I follow the benefit of the doubt on things the post.

if you would like to come into my inbox and tell me "hey op of [post] is a fascist/terf/zionist/ect" THEN I will check through their blog and make my own decision. I will not be pressured into treating every openly Jewish person on this website like a possible fascist. do not come into my inbox demanding that I do.

Again, saying "hey heads up op is a [blank]" is acceptable, and I will make my own decision on if they actually are or if they are simply the victim of hyper awareness and excessive scrutiny.

for anyone who didn't or couldn't access Twitter (or don't have Twitter) here a link to the doc for you to read BEFORE pointing fingers without hearing the full story. like I said before I'm not on a side really like I saw all the edvidece that was in the doc and that I want to say I kinda believe Bug and Java BUT not fully yet, the reason is simply because, people are just posting stuff making people think 'they are lying!' without actually reading the doc then point fingers (even though pointing fingers are still bad but like you know what I mean) so take our time and actually read this before accusing and automatily going on a side without waiting for the full story. there's always three sides to the story. one side, the other side, then the truth. its better to just WAIT and not just accuse. not everything people say is true (not saying anyone lied except for WH!exposer well they really didn't 'lie' they just kept bringing useless stuff up but anway) yeah just read the doc try and understand how this situation affected (or effected) both sides. thank you for listening to my rant.
