Blitzø (formally Blitzo), is an Imp that was born into a circus family, so he was very much a performer from birth. However, he never quite that the knack for being a clown that his best friend, Fizzarolli did. In fact, Blitzø knew from an early age that his father, Cash, would have been much happier with Fizzarolli as a son. Far from resenting his friend for this, he actually admired him, and eventually fell in love as they got older.

Just before he was going to tell Fizzarolli of his feelings though, he second-guessed himself and quickly left, accidentally starting a horrible fire that killed his mother and permanently disfigured both Fizzarolli and himself. His sister Barbie, as well as his father, survived the incident relatively unscathed, but both resented him for it for the rest of his life. Blitzø and Fizzarolli's friendship ended with that fire.

Blitzø stumbled through the next several years of his life getting in to a number of romantic, or at least sexual relationships and watching every single one go down in flames by his own hand (figuratively this time). But he also continued to seek out his childhood dream of running his own business. While he never quite got the hang of being a clown. Blitzø did hone his shooting skills over the years since the fire, and was now confident enough to start a contract killing business called the Immediate Murder Professionals (IMP). The idea was to have clients in Hell pay them to kill people they had a grude on back on Earth. The only thing he needed to make this a reality was a means of getting into the human realm.

However when he entered the estate of an Ars Goetia to steal a grimoire that would allow him do this, he was caught, and ran into Stolas, someone he had not seen in over two decades. Blitzø's father had sold him to the prince for a day as a playmate (though also to steal as much as he could get his hands on). Using every bit of his performing skills he still had left, Blitzø talked his way into getting the book, though also ended up having an affair with Stolas as well. Their relations continued on a monthly basis in exchange for use of the grimoire. and IMP was finally born.

After employing Millie and Moxxie, two other Imps with a talent for killing, his adopted daughter Loona also joined the team. Very recently, the deal he had with Stolas was broken off, and he now uses an Asmodean Crystal to travel freely and legally between Hell and Earth.

the trajectory of

loo loo land: stolas hires blitzø to "protect" him, even though he doesn't need it, and pretends he's in a fantasy in which blitzø is his dashing bodyguard, which blitzø probably partway misunderstands as purely a sexual fantasy, and only begrudgingly participates in (until he gets distracted)

(the circus: it becomes clear how stolas formed certain highly romantic notions about blitzø that weren't quite true for blitzø's actual life, which is very non-romantic and more about pragmatic "just-getting-through-the-damn-day" choices that don't mesh with stolas' fantasies of blitzø as essentially his personal knight/hero/Romance Genre Lover/etc.)

western energy: stolas actually needs help, but blitzø doesn't realise this until too late, and so doesn't show up to protect/save him, dashing any fantasy or idea that he'd actually be that sort of figure in stolas' life, for both of them

The Evolution of Blitzø’s Character Growth- Stolitz (Season 2.5)

Blitz starts off "When I See Him" not wanting to think about the complexities of his and Stolas' relationship, so he decides to focus on the one thing he does know: sex.

In "When I See Him" Stolas and Blitz are meant to be never on the same page, even going as far as to have Blitz only sing-talk as opposed to Stolas' Disney-esque style of singing.

He goes out of his way, excitedly looking forward to the sex they'll have afterwards. He's only thinking about the sex.

Full Moon happens and Blitz is hurt and betrayed, as he genuinely has no idea how to process the confession.

Beginning of Apology Tour Blitz attempts to win Stolas back, only for it to end horribly as he self-sabotages the fuck out of everything he has, refusing to let go of the mask he wears.

Later on...

Blitz is heartbroken to hear Stolas sing, and his admission, "I don't think you meant to hurt me because I don't think it meant a thing at all" destroys him.

He tries to make it right with Stolas (who is drunk), apologizes to him, lets go of the mask he wears, only to end up ultimately giving up and letting Stolas go in the end.

A month passes and Blitz has essentially given up on life, driving his business to the freaking ground...

One thing is for sure, he feels a lot of regret for what happened with Stolas, and has essentially given up on being with him.

A lot of shit happens to Blitz in Ghostfuckers as the trauma that he's kept buried for fifteen years is forcefully pried open with a wrench.

Only for Millie to be the one to save Blitz in the end...

Episode ends with major character development for Blitz as his mask falls off, and he promises to butt out of the M&M relationship, and as he subtly admits and acknowledges his feelings for Stolas....

What's beautiful about the Stolitz Duet in Mastermind is that it perfectly shows Blitzø’s character growth...

How Blitz went from initially thinking only about sex in regards to his relationship with Stolas....

How Blitz was never once was on the same page with Stolas in their first duet together...

Only to now be able to perfectly harmonize with Stolas in regards to their deep feelings for one another...

Stolas admitting that he sees Blitz as his shining light that taught him to be his own person...

To Blitz admitting that he sees Stolas as the key to his heart that he's kept locked up for years...

For them to finally sing in perfect harmony as they admit their genuine undying love for each other.

And when the fear of losing Stolas permanently, hits Blitz like a motherfucking truck...

He's finally... finally able to let go of his mask around Stolas as he does what he can to comfort him after he lost everything.

Showing the small bits of romantic intimacy that he couldn't reciprocate back in Apology Tour.

Blitzø Buckzo, you make me fucking sick... how dare you be this fucking soft and cute and tender and loving. This man is fully aware that Stolas is still angry at him, but he doesn't care, he's just happy to have his birb back.

i've seen a lot of posts comparing mastermind to truth seekers but hear me out: ozzie's

SO this may be long buckle in. these episodes kinda have the same plot?

blitzø has found himself in a bit of a sitch, as it were...

our beloved dramatic gay owl is at home watching gabriela pine over alejandro, when suddenly... blitzy is in trouble! omg let's get cunty and go save the day!!

however, despite showing up and saving lives (he may have literally saved blitzø's life in mastermind but that outfit from ozzie's changed all our lives forever soo...) blitzø isn't necessarily ((outwardly)) happy to see stolas (((we all know he does not mind stolas' ass in his face but stay with me here)))

stolas' privilege allows him to be immediately heard and not punished by the people who would never listen to blitzø's side of things, and stolas gets to be his dramatic lil bitch self and we love to see it

in ozzie's, blitzø has his past come back to haunt him in so many ways, he is put in the spotlight and he is decidedly not comfortable there, being called out for all the shit he's done to fizz and verosika and even m&m - HOWEVER! as we all now know, all of those people actually care about blitzø and he was just being his lil destructive self. he is given the chance to defend himself but it's overwhelming and he kinda freezes up

in mastermind, blitzø is being outright blamed for things he didn't do but like.. he actually didn't do any of that ! and yet he can't defend himself because nobody would listen to him even if he wasn't gagged.

the difference between these 2 episodes is in stolas' behaviour when HE is put in the spotlight- at ozzie's he is freshly separated from stella and probably hasn’t done anything social for a long ass time and he’s not used to being in public. and here’s this thing that he thinks is gonna be fun and will help blitzø but he is not able to express himself so he hides and the result of that is blitzø pushing him away, literally doesn’t want to touch him

in MASTERMIND our birdy babe is singing his lil heart out with no regard for what anyone else thinks of him or what might happen to him, which is so beautiful (but also stolas pls try not to inhale the water).... when he doesn't hide his feelings from blitzø we see how perfect it could be when their inner worlds merge and they are finally on the same page, and blitzø does the furthest thing possible from pushing stolas away !!!

(he did however still neglect to consider octavia's feelings when he decided to drop everything for blitzø... with devastating implications in mastermind) sorry to bring the mood down but this needs to be pointed out

in ozzie's, stolas tries to invite blitzø to his place (and we all remember how well that went)........ blitzø goes home alone and loona is not there, he is all alone and sad curled up on the couch on his phone looking at all the people he believes he's let down and it's heartbreaking

when stolas goes to blitzø's place in mastermind, stolas gets all the love and support blitzø has to offer and loona is there too and blitzø curls up on the couch on his phone looking at all these people who love and support him!!! and then he makes the couch all comfy for stolas and he’s not alone?? like they’re both so not alone that it hurts my heart to think about. these 2 have so much love for each other and yeah there's gonna be tough times ahead but they are not alone! !!!!

basically both eps end the same? but also everything is better now? because blitz was loved before he just couldn’t see it through all his nonsense

and stolas is still in a messed up situation and he's still kinda problematic and he couldn’t see it before through all his nonsense but now he’s more self aware?

the real difference is they have each other now! they are so not alone it makes them look stupid!!

anyway this is the longest post i've ever made sorry if it's rambly i have adhd and a lot of feelings about these two

(I'm going to be mainly looking at this from the Perspective of Blitzø)

The reaction of shock we first see shows that Blitzø wasn't expecting it. He didn't feel that he was owed payment like a kiss. He was just happy that he saved his favorite bird. He would have just been happy lovingly looking at Stolas with the sparkle in his eyes.

I think the sensation Blitzø is experiencing is relief.

For the longest time Blitzø and Stolas were on complete different pages. Their ideas and opinions of what one thought of each other was completely different.

When Stolas is shocked states to Blitzø

"you've just risked your life to save mine"

Blitzø doesn't respond in a Cocky way with his mask like the old him would have. He doesn't brag about himself. He doesn't berate Stolas for making him risk his life. For making a stupid choice.

Instead he just says in the most gentle way "well. . .so did you."

He is showing Stolas RECIPROCATION!

This is the first time his feelings have actually properly reached Stolas and the kiss shows it.

Since the Mastermind, heck even at the end of the apology tour Blitzø was trying to show Stolas that he actually cared about him.

Because you need to remember in during the song ALL 2 U Stolas sings the lyrics:

"I don't think you meant to hurt me

Cause I don't think it

meant a thing at all"

That line is the one that DESTROYS BLITZØ.

Cuz what's going on in his head is he realizes that Stolas thinks that he doesn't care at all. That he never cared for him.

The opposite of love is indifference and Stolas thinks he's indifferent.

Blitzø was in love with Stolas but his own armor of self loathing/doubt blinded him of reciprocating his feelings.

That's why during ghost fuckers he's so upset Because is so mad at himself for hurting Stolas and the fact he self-sabotaged himself from the possibility of being happy and having an actual loving relationship. He is wallowing in his own self pity.

(side note I think if Verosika hadn't told Blitzø to lay off that he would have kept trying to pursue Stolas. I do think it was a good thing because he needed time to evaluate himself and how he actually feels. The boy needed introspection.)

During Mastermind Blitzø assumed that Stolas had moved on and it wasn't until Stolas came in and risked his life that Blitzø realized that Stolas still cared for him. Because of what happened he was in a way given the second chance to show Stolas that he actually cared for him back. But the problem is Stolas is rightfully in shock and depressed. Blitzø understands this so he just in a way quietly loves him by caring for him. (Side note I do think if mastermind didn't happen and Stolas was in trouble or anything like that Blitzø still would have gone out of his way to help him and try to show Stolas that he cared for him)

From what I've seen I don't think Blitzø at all expects Stolas to reciprocate feelings for him. I think Blitzø in Sinsmas just wants Stolas to be happy again. He just wants to make sure Stolas doesn't feel like he's alone. Because he knows what it feels like to be alone, to feel abandoned. I think Blitzø would have been happy continuing to just admire Stolas from afar in a quiet way. So Blitzø just continues to quietly love him.

That's why I think the kiss shocked him so much because it lets him know that his feelings finally reached Stolas. Stolas realizes that Blitzø actually cares for him. For the longest time they weren't on the same page and they finally are experiencing mutual receprocation.

What we are seeing is for the first time that sensation of relief and ease on both parties!

We know he was crushing on Blitz hard when he first saw Blitz perform, but realizing you like boys is different than realizing you’ll never like girls.

Was it an afternoon of reading, when he found himself drawing to stories about men together for a reason he couldn’t name?

So, I heard the Hadestown soundtrack and then I stumbled upon a song.

And then I thought: "WAIT, what if Satan sang this with his wife and they're singing about Stolas & Blitzø??? IT'S PERFECT!!!!"

Anyone else think the TV Tropes pages for Helluva Boss feel lowkey kinda biased?

They bash Stolitz all the time, make Stolas out to be this awful person who sexually harasses Blitzø with no remorse, say both get too much screentime (nevermind that the show wouldn't exist without them) and downplay Stolas' problems because he was born rich. (Which is literally part of his character arc.)

Meanwhile they jerk off Stella and claim she's only written the way she is to make Stolas look better, but have no problem with Crimson, Mammon or Valentino and don't say they only exist to prop up Moxxie, Fizz or Angel. Some pages do call this out, but the vast majority are just pro-Stella propaganda. They also talk like the show has just suddenly turned from a typical adult sitcom about assassins to a gay love story, and they CANNOT stand that.

Strangely enough, they don't seem to have the same "Eat the rich" mentality about Verosika that they do about Stolas, basically kissing her ass in the Apology Tour page and any time the episode is mentioned. They don't ever possibly stop to think for one second that her obssession with spiting Blitzø or arranging entire parties about this one guy for years on end is maybe a little... petty and unhealthy? Nope, they treat her like a saint because she said it was for the purpose of helping people that Blitzø allegedly hurt feel better, no matter how contrived it sounds. The fact that Dennis, Wally Wackford and Vortex were there doesn't even cross their minds.

They slapped the "Bi Not Too Bi" trope onto Blitzø and Loona, because Blitzø's romantic or sexual relationships with men happen to be happen to be important to the plot and he didn't fall in love with Verosika the way he did Fizz or Stolas, and in Loona's case it was because the only hint of her attraction to women is calling Bee hot. (Personally I hate that such a trope even exists on the website because it implies that you have to "prove" your bi/pansexuality or else you might as well be straight or gay, which perpetuates the stereotype that bi and pan people either have to go all out or "pick a side".)

On a less important note, they describe Blitzø's appearance unfavorably, calling him a "Kavorka Man" (ugly guy who still gets all the ladies and sometimes the dudes) and apply him to the "Ugly Guy Hot Wife" trope, saying he looks like a Xenomorph, yet they turn around and call Barbie Wire, who looks just like a female version of her brother, a "Ms Fanservice" and say she looks attractive in both human and demon form. I get it, these entries are probably all written by straight men who don't know the first thing about what makes other men attractive to people anyway, but it still baffles me.

IF YOU HATE HELLUVA BOSS, HAZBIN HOTEL, AND/OR STOLITZ, DO. NOT. INTERACT. (WITH THIS POST OR MY PAGE)

Okay, I am currently rewatching Helluva Boss, and I just finished S1 Ep7: OZZIE'S, and... How do some people genuinely believe Stolitz is one-sided?

From what I've seen, Blitzø absolutely returns Stolas' feelings, even if he refuses to acknowledge/accept that he does. A lot of people, from what I've seen, have been using Blitzø' words to Stolas in OZZIE'S and his words about Stolas to Fizzarolli in OOPS as arguments for why Blitzø "clearly" doesn't love Stolas back, but my question is, do some of y'all not have basic media literacy?

Sorry if that’s rude, but seriously. There are plenty of clues to how Blitzø is actually feeling during and after these scenes.

1. Blitzø was literally holding back TEARS as he said that in the van scene.

2. He says that Stolas has made it very clear that all it is is Stolas wanting to be fucked. That wording is very distinct and, honestly, says that Blitzø does NOT want it to just be a Fuck Buddies things.

2.5. May I remind everyone that Stolas literally calls Blitzø his "Impish little plaything" in Truth Seekers? And that that likely just confirmed the insecurities we know he was already feeling? (We know he was feeling insecure about his and Stolas' relationship already because of how he reacted in S1 Ep5 to Striker goading him)

3. Literally ALL of what happens after the van scene. Including all of Episode 8. He goes home and cries himself to sleep, and then goes and self-destructs at a party. Bee said it herself that he wasn't drinking to have fun.

4. In S2 Ep6: OOPS, His face when he said it was nothing more than Stolas being horny gives away how hurt he actually is. He is desperately trying to convince Fizz and remind himself that Stolas doesn't want anything more.

Honorary mention that I'm not sure is really a fifth point is him calling Fizz and Ozzie hypocrites.

Moving on from those scenes and onto Blitzø's insecurities about love and his self-worth issues. Blitzø does not believe he deserves love. He does not believe anyone does or can love him. We can see this in how he acts with the people in his life. He pushes them away. He is obsessed with M&M's relationship because they're the only model of a healthy relationship he's ever had, and he wants that with someone. We also can tell because of how he reacts to what Fizz and Verosika say in OZZIE'S.

Blitzø hates himself. He crosses out his face in the pictures hung up in his apartment. He blames himself for an accident that caused his mother's death, his best friend to lose his limbs, and his sister to hate him.

No one was truly there for him after the accident. Fizz may have been crippled, but he had a support system. Blitzø did not, and no one was there to tell him it wasn't his fault.

Not to mention the fact that up until the accident, he was CONSTANTLY being put down and told Fizzarolli was better than him. Even his own father cared more for Fizz than him. Honestly, I'm surprised there isn't any actual animosity towards Fizz on Blitzø's part.

Speaking of the fire and Fizz, Blitzø was planning to confess romantic feelings to Fizz that night before the accident (We know this because of the letter and flower he was holding before the fire started). That likely made it difficult for him to confess his love to someone because if you think his brain wouldn't connect love confessions to the greatest trauma of his life, you're dead wrong.

Brains make weird ass connections when it comes to trauma/traumatic events.

In conclusion, Blitzø loves Stolas, Stolas loves Blitzø, and they both need to heal and get their shit together. Stolitz forever.

HH & HB Worldbuilding Part #01

Worldbuilding, a beautiful and vital thing for all stories to have, is, for some reason, absent in the Hellaverse. Let’s change that.

“When was Hell created?” ‣ I’ve decided to base Hell’s creation on how long the Earth has been around for which would mean that Hell was made around 4.5 billion years ago. I went this route because it makes the most sense from a logical and theological standpoint as God only made the Earth after he found out that Adam & Eve had disobeyed him by eating The Forbidden Fruit of Knowledge.

“How many Rings of Hell are there?” ‣ Usually there are only Seven Rings of Hell but I’m taking a page out of Dante’s Inferno for this and having there be Nine Rings instead. However, the order of these Nine Rings is rather different. First and foremost, one of the only things staying from the canon Hellaverse is that the Pride Ring is the very first Ring of Hell as I see it as the only Ring meant to house Sinners on account of the majority of humanities crimes stemming from the sin of Pride by believing that they are better than something else whether it be their fellow man, machine, or beast. As far as the other big Six Rings of Hell go after Pride it would be Lust in 2nd, Gluttony in 3rd, Sloth in 4th, Greed in 5th, Wrath in 6th, and Envy in 7th.

‣ That just leaves me with the 8th & 9th Rings which cannot be accessed via regular means (for instance, Hell’s Metro system for Hellborn citizens) or standard irregular means (like The Marked Alleyways in Pride that’s used by normal Hellborn citizens and Sinners alike.) The 8th Ring is known as The Ring of Treachery and very few know of its existence and even fewer are aware of the evil it holds. On the other hand, the Final Ring is one that every demon knows and fears as that’s where those found guilty in The Serpent’s Courtroom are forced to serve capital punishment (yes, there are things far worse than the death penalty in Hell) and go to suffer for the rest of eternity, in the Ring fittingly named, The Abyss. “What are the laws of Hell?” ‣ Obviously, if Hell has some kind of courtroom then there are some type of rules set in place. How said rules work differ depending on four major factors: which Ring you’re in, your place in Hell’s hierarchy, your race, and whether you’re a Hellborn citizen or not. Which doesn’t sound as bad as it could be until you take into consideration that Hellborn groups like Imps have to constantly be updated on and follow the laws in ALL Seven Rings, be "reminded" about their place in Hell by basically everyone around them, and overall be treated less than a Sinner would be because, “at least Sinners EARNED their right to be here.” The only Hellborn groups to have it worse than Imps are Half-Breeds (like Blitzø, Barbie, and Striker) as they’re expected to memorize DOUBLE the set of rules compared to everybody else and Hellhounds who have the most amount of rules while also having the least amount of freedoms thanks to them being often seen as pets or servants and nothing more. “Will the entirety of Hell be some various shades of red?” ‣ Short answer, no. Long answer, each of the Rings will be various shades of their specific Sin’s corresponding color. For example, the entire Pride Ring is going to be some tint or shade of purple. The only Rings I can’t really do this for are Lust, Treachery, and The Abyss. For the latter two it’s because they don’t exist in the traditional sense and as far as the Lust Ring goes, I’ll have to change the color to pink as Lust’s true signature color is blue however Sloth is light blue which means one of them has to change and I don't know about you but a blue Lust Ring just doesn't sound or look right to me.

While I was doing this I hadn't realized just how much Vivziepop & Spindlehorse managed to accomplish NOT making Hell feel like Hell. Both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are solely set in Hell for the sake of being edgy and so that one show can do the done to death trope of, "angels are the real bad guys," while the other show devolved into a convoluted melodrama.

With a story setting like Hell you, as the writer/director, have to understand that you can't just visually show the readers/viewers that this story could only be set in Hell but you also have to make them FEEL like it could ONLY be set in Hell. Viv somewhat grasps the visual aesthetic of Hell but she's completely lost on how to appeal to an even wider audience due to her shows failing to convince people that FEEL like either show truly takes place in Hell. There's no real ongoing suffering happening to the Sinners in Hazbin Hotel (I'm not counting Angel Dust and his problems because they've opted for him to have rushed and off screen character development) as the Extermination only happens once a year and with Helluva Boss, it REFUSES to go all in on depicting high class Hellborn citizens taking advantage of those beneath them in Hell's society (gee, I wonder why/s.) That aside, I hope that you liked the worldbuilding that I've come up with so far and before the day is over I'll probably make a post dissecting Chaggie and why they should've stayed as best friends like they were originally planned to be in HH before Viv changed her mind last minute. Okay but I need to know what will be LOONA's reaction to the Asmodean crystal

Like, she is apparently the only one at IMP who opens/can open the portal - mainly because she's also the receptionist so she doesn't do field work (Blitzø is too worried something will happen to her, even if she's totally capable), so it's easier for her to perform magic when needed. But she clearly also likes it - she's incredibly good with the spells, she doesn't even have to focus that much on them, simply brushing the page with a bottle of beer is enough to open a portal AND she can also summon a disguise for her in a matter of seconds both on Earth and in Hell (do you know how difficult that is?? Stolas himself said his powers were limited on Earth without the Grimoire, still LOONA was able to do it + I didn't even know you could summon your human disguise in HELL).

I need to know what she felt when she found out she will probably never have access to the Grimoire anymore - no more magic, no more self-teaching herself things she unexpectedly liked and found out she was good at, no more thinking that she was actually something special since she was the only one except for a Goetia/Sin that we know about that can do magic

Will she miss it? Will she crave for it? Will she feel empty? Will she feel like she's not important or useful anymore again?

And he DEFINITELY didn’t have to constantly ignore that pulsing pit in his stomach, scarily deep and black as blood, that insisted it was all going to blow up one day (just like everything else, everyone else) and when it did, it would be entirely his fault. So, y’know. Nooooo big deal. - It's been nearly a year since Stolas was disowned by the Goetia family, losing his riches, his home, and his job. It's also been five and a half months since Stolas and Blitzø officially became a couple. Blitzø is still struggling to feel like he deserves any of it. Well, he knows one thing for sure. His boyfriend wants a winter under the stars, and Blitzø is gonna figure out how to give it to him, one way or another.

Yeah this is a short and very VERY quick summary of the Trial that Blitzø had. He snarled in defiance before Satan while Stolas gave everything he had away to be with him- well, protect him.

And talking about Satan…

His design is cool as fuck! And his voice actor, Patrick Page did an excellent job in voicing him!

It’s clear that he looks down on those below him (especially imps) and has a knack for showing off and lying (Bee’s eye roll and Ozzie’s face when he says that he’s been longer than Luci had was key evidence.)

His design is a fire breathing dragon, which fits because besides the whole angry bit, they’re natural born leaders, strong, overbearing (as he lies and abuses his power) ambitious, and, ironically enough, known for their sense of justice.

It’s nice how, in Lucifer’s absence, he took over the role of Hell’s new leader to an extent.

It’s clear (kinda) that he isn’t lying about the ‘creating Imps’ and all of that as the they all say “Oh thank Satan!” And uses Satan as a threat to other Imps. Like how Higher ups (Goetias, Sins? Royals) say “Oh Lucifer” and Lucifer says “oh God!” Because that’s their own creators. (Thanks for the correction Strangedreamings-)

And, despite having bad anger issues, you can tell that he’s actually trying to not burst out in fits of rage.

See the subtle changes in his expression when Yogirt mentions them? I like to think that in the past, his outburst got so worse that either the Sins or Satan himself (better yet, Lucifer) made the two candle head demons stick with Satan to help him in controlling his emotions better.
