Just a Life Update……❤️

It’s been about two weeks since I got sick with a bad flu virus l, and thank God I’m finally so freak’n close to being out of those woods. Still somewhat hacking phlegm tho. yuck 😝 I’ve be trying hard to get back into a normal routine, but before getting sick, I was having to completely change my once routine for about a year prior. It makes me kinda sad, but I can no longer use DoorDash for a means of income like I did before. Change is to be expected. I realize now that I became too comfortable in that routine. Now I’m in the mist of a transitional period that makes me highly vulnerable to oppressive thoughts like “I’m now a financial burden to my family.” This thought has minor truth to it, maybe 10% or 20%. When I actually think about it further, I know I help and contribute to my family more than simply in finances. As a Wife and step-Mom, their health and wellness are extremely important to me. This includes physical, mental and spiritual things. I, of course, am not responsible to care for their every need and desire. Micomanaging creates future monsters. It’s been through the Holy Spirit’s guidance that I’m managing some form of balance in caring for them, and myself.

With all that said, I still struggle whenever I’m unable to financially support myself. That is due to years of living with mental illness and striving to adult. It’s been about 15 yrs. and a decade of that was battling against clinical depression. So yeah, it’s the struggle to meet the expectations of loved ones, which also sometimes comes from our culture’s expectations as well. *sigh* I know, sounds totally exhausting right! Anywho, as a Child of God, it has been totally through faith that I am where I am today. In the mist of the strife and struggle, Hope Still Remains because of Christ Jesus. “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.‭‭”(Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬) AMEN! 💖 “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.” ‭‭(2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬) We’re all born into this world with a valuable purpose and personal calling from God. I’m still learning to live in the world and not of the world. I’ll continue to learn till the day my Lord God calls me home, but for now I have a heaven-bestowed job to do! ✌️😉

AGREED. This reminds me of something Jesus said,

'As the crowd pressed in on Jesus, he said, “This evil generation keeps asking me to show them a miraculous sign. But the only sign I will give them is the sign of Jonah. What happened to him was a sign to the people of Nineveh that God had sent him. What happens to the Son of Man will be a sign to these people that he was sent by God. '

Luke 11:29-30

"When he heard this, he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why do these people keep demanding a miraculous sign? I tell you the truth, I will not give this generation any such sign.” '

Mark 8:12

These words Jesus spoke are clearly recorded and documented in all four gospels. The people, Jesus spoke to in this passage only wished to use Jesus for his miraculous abilities for selfish-gain. They showed no interest in his teaches or for who He Is. Be aware, this was during times when demon possession and unnatural powers can come from possession was common place. So many people, greatly misunderstood, the wondrous power of Jesus Christ and His Mission while on earth. God has no need to prove Himself to anyone. It is through Jesus' subtle splendors and acts of love towards others, and to those closest to Him while he walked on earth that made those deep impacts that change lives for good. 🥰
