I was scrolling through the recents in the Jeremy Strong tag and oh my god. There’s so many people being so cruel. So can I just say☺️… SHUT UP SHUT THE HELL UPPPPPPPPP

And then the dude they like is wearing a black and white suit or wearing something we’ve seen 1000 times. They’ve got money, it’s a red carpet, wear something we’ve never seen before.

Making fun of him cause he looks sad after the lose,.. yeah of course he’s sad, he deserved that award and worked so hard for it, playing a nonfictional historical character so well that I couldn’t even see him as Jeremy on screen. (Straight man had to do a receiving back shot scene for no award? Loll sorry I just had to add this).

And then I think people making fun of his personality and work is what really fucking gets me. He is seriously the kindest man I have ever met. “Method actor bullshit”. No, shut up. As a person who was in plays and still enjoys being involved in theater, it’s so much more than that. They read one article or see one tik tok video and are like ‘omg this guy is so bad’ and that’s their only research lmao. He works very hard, does his deep research, and puts so much time into what he does just to make the film feel so real.

He is just so unique and beautiful and that’s what I love most about him. I’ve posted this video a couple of times now but I’m doing it again just to show you how sweet he is:

He must have been so tired and yet he took his time with each person and kept the conversation going. And kept a smile on his face the whole time after I gifted him my bracelet😫😫😫 Can’t even watch the video cause I just either get way too excited or cry lolll.

Anyways my point is; people who are so bored and start shit just out of spite about kind people who have done nothing wrong are truly media brain rotted and have nothing better to do with their time. Yeah sure, I’ve made fun of some celebs that aren’t particularly bad people, but I don’t shit on everything they do and just hate them completely and then post about it. So to end this, Jeremy haters: get a hobby and do actual research😉 or if you do that already, wow congrats, so happy for you. Would you like a reward? Would you like a treat? if you get offended by this that’s literally just your own problem to solve bahaha

btw dp you knwo how insane and weird it feels to have people irl tell you randomly that they like a fandom you were going to take to the grave?? i’ve NEVER had anyone like the same thing as me in the same way. like, i’ve had people vaguely like things i’ve likes in the oast, like harry potter and taylor swift, which are both very popular

but. in the past month or so i’ve had it happen TWICE.

first one of my bestie’s friends who’s also in choir with me revaled that she’s in the marauders fandom. and she’s obsessed with it. and likes jegulus and wolfstar and etc. which. fucking insane i never would have told anyone ever that i’m in the marauders fandom

AND THEN

2 days ago oen of my friends (who has adhd!!!!) started talking to me about hermitcraft and the life series and etc.!!!!!!! SHE’S HYPERFIXATED ON IT TOO

okay so actually she hasn’t watched hermitcraft yet bc she said it’s kind of boring BUT she’s watched the life series and empires and is going to watch Joel’s hermitcraft season bc it’s impossible for anything he’s in to be boring (not that i agree that hc is boring anyways but you get the point)

but we had a christmas get together party thing last saturday and i was talking with her and her brother (who is like 8 years older btw also he’s trans which is unrelated but incredibly awesome and i felt like you guys should know) and her brother has watched hermitcraft!!! he watches joel grian and mumbo!!!!! I WAS SO EXCITED I NORMALLY PNLY TALK TO MY SILLY LITTLE MOOTS ON TUMBLR THIS IS WILD

I was just thinking about how BTS had such a difficult time in 2018 with how busy they were and how successful they were becoming overseas. It was taking a big toll on their healths physically and mentally. They also had thoughts of disbanding. They’ve talked since about how they were so scared of the heights their band was reaching and how they never had days off.

I’m just thinking about how the newer bands in their company now and how I wish they get rest days.

I get the hustle life and I don’t think the size or budget of a company changes the way they would work a band. The music business is very competitive and it takes hard work to set yourself apart from other artists and build your own fanbase. But also I don’t think HYBE needs to work these new artists to the bone to make profits since they’re not 2014 BigHit and is one bad comeback away from getting their lights shut off.

Just saying that days off are very helpful for both mental and physical health. And a healthy artist is a successful artist.
