Like this plus Collin Farrell winning the award for The Penguin. This is Brendan Fraser's Oscar win for The Whale all over again. Hollywood can't quit its love affair with putting attractive, able-bodied actors in prosthetic makeup to play characters who are fat, disabled, have deformities/disfigurements. Like remember when there was outrage over Sarah Paulson wearing a fatsuit (granted it's not a perfect equivalent since she's playing an actual person while Oswald Cobblepot isnt real)? Where did that outrage go? We need to bring that back.

Sighs... I do need receipts to know if Adam Pearson, Sebastian Stan's castmate, who actually has neurofibromatosis was never invited to the Golden Globes. But here's a good article from the marysue about this:

But yeah, Stan would have to put his money where his mouth if he really cares about representation of pple with disabilities and disfigurements. Otherwise, he's just another actor who's putting on makeup and prosthetics for awardbait.
