personally, i do not ship loki with anyone. but out of genuine curiosity… i’d like to see what the most popular loki ship on here is.

With the newest Helluva Boss episode the issue I think comes from Stolas starting that path of self growth and reform before Blitzo. I feel like people are forgetting the progress he did make. He stopped forcing Blitzo to come every month and he became aware of how he manipulated Blitzo especially since their relationship began with Blitzo stealing the book before they made their deal after a night of sex. While full moon he was putting pressure on blitz he still let him speak his piece. And when Blitz came to his home breaking in at start of Apology Tour he still heard him out before leaving after.

Stolas should have given blitz time and not expected an anwser right away when he has had months to process it. It was unfair of him to do that but on the flip side Blitz shouldn't have treated him that way at end of full moon and start of apology tour. Blitz shouldn't have dismissed his feelings and then berated them further again slinging insults. Stolas could have kicked him out but choose to let him speak his mind. That's just my thoughts though. Both need different things. Stolas needs friends and Blitz needs to reevaluate himself and how he treats people. Don't mind the ramble just wanted to give my thoughts and perspective.

if it matters to my argument, I am a CN+SEAsian player, and I have something to say:

People can't and shouldn't tell chinese players living in china that speak and write the language their entire lives and are aware of their nuances and cultures that they are wrong about the game's mistranslations to english. How are people able to tell them that they are wrong about their own language and culture???

I do not appreciate the racism and cyberbullying (because it IS racism and it IS cyberbullying in my perspective, not you being a hero or a superior human being. The way some people talk to asian players...its just something else...), and if you think doing these things are ok to do just because you disagree with people over FICTIONAL CHARACTERS then please just leave.

Also, these characters are fictional. They're basically barbie dolls with intricate story lines. Just because you want to frequently comb your doll's hair and dress it with the fanciest clothing doesn't mean someone else wouldn't systematically remove their own barbie's limbs and shave their barbie's hair. You don't own all the barbie dolls and you don't get to take someone else's barbie doll just because you don't like what they are doing to it (needed the barbie doll analogy to explain what i mean)

maybe learn to just block someone... trust me, it's mentally freeing for both you and the person you disagree with.

this is just my opinion but i think any good media needs obsession behind it. it needs passion, the kind of passion that's no longer "gentle scented candle" and is now "oh shit the house caught on fire". it needs a creator that's biting the floorboards and gnawing the story off their skin. creators are supposed to be wild animals. they are supposed to want to tell a story with the ferocity of eating a good stone fruit while standing over the sink. the same protective, strange instinct as being 7 and making mud potions in pink teacups: you gotta get weird with it.

good media needs unhinged, googling-at-midnight kind of energy. it needs "what kind of seams are invented on this planet" energy and "im just gonna trust the audience to roll with me about this" energy. it needs one person (at least) screaming into the void with so much drive and energy that it forces the story to be real.

sometimes people are baffled when fanfic has some stunning jaw-dropping tattoo-it-on-you lines. and i'm like - well, i don't go here, but that makes sense to me. of fucking course people who have this amount of passion are going to create something good. they moved from a place of genuine love and enjoyment.

so yeah, duh! saturday cartoons have banger lines. random street art is sometimes the most precious heart-wrenching shit you've ever seen. someone singing on tiktok ends up creating your next favorite song. youtubers are giving us 5 hours of carefully researched content. all of this is the impossible equation to latestage capitalism. like, you can't force something to be good. AI cannot make it good. no amount of focus-group testing or market research. what makes a story worth listening to is that someone cares so much about telling it - through dance, art, music, whatever it takes - that they are just a little unhinged about it.
