Apparently, I forgot that The Flash and Green Arrow fought. Flash won.
Now that I've rediscovered that little tidbit, and I'm procrastinating on sleep, here's a list of Batman fighting other heroes (a loose term that is) and who won! (All canon, btw)
Batman vs. Superman - Batman
Batman vs. Spawn - Spawn
Batman vs. Nightwing - Nightwing
Batman vs. Green Lantern (Guy) - Batman
Batman vs. Aquaman - Aquaman
Batman vs. Batgirl - Batman
Batman vs. Batgirl - Batgirl
Batman vs. Wildcat - Tie
Batman vs. Catwoman - Catwoman
Batman vs. Jonah Hex - Jonah
Bruce Batman vs. Jean-Paul Batman - Bruce
Batman vs. Robin (Damian) - Robin
Batman vs. Hawkman - Hawkman
Batman vs. Wonder Woman - Wonder Woman
Batman vs. Red Hood - Red Hood
Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Batman
Batman vs. Master Splinter - Tie (I'm pretty sure)
I was gonna round it out evenly with Batman fighting all of his kids, but I can't find him fighting Steph (not his kid, but his kid), Tim or Duke.
I might add to this, I might not. Please do leave Hero v. Hero fights in the comments, though, I wanna see who wins

For the tmnt ask game, 5 and 23?
5. If you were a ninja turtle, what color would your mask be?
green :3 its my favorite color! I'm not exactly what shade I'd go for bc there's so many to pick, but definitely something green.
23. If you could have a tmnt crossover with ANY other series, which would it be?
SPIDER-MAN. PLEASE. Maybe its just the worms in my brain but omggg it would be so fun!! I'm pretty sure both franchises have recognized each other with funny little jokes, but I would do ANYTHING to get a Batman vs TMNT style movie or Power Rangers style comic crossover, but with Spider-Man
Peter would get along so well with all the turtles man like fr. He'd be able to talk shop with Donatello, he'd laugh with Mikey's jokes and exchange quips, and I earnestly think he'd get along with Leo and Raph on an emotional level very well. Like Leo's sense of honor and duty, and how Raph feels isolated in the world? AUGH. Peter fucking Parker knows those feelings so well. Plus he could spar with them! Spider sense vs highly skilled ninjutsu?? Hell yeah, also he and the turtles are both harder to hurt and they might not have to hold back as much
And also I think he'd like talking with Master Splinter <3

Saw a post earlier talking abt rottmnt disliking the more humanoid designs and them looking more like the people they mutated with and I just want to explain why I, someone who is a lover of the movies and is good friends with someone who watched and read every piece of tmnt media, dislike that one point. They aren't supposed to mutate from people (unless you're bebop and rocksteady from the Bay movies). They are mutated turtles and nothing more, which is probably why people have an issue with it.
Rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles has three main issues that I dislike. One, they jumped the wrong shark by giving the turtles powers (which imo removes some of the point of them). They are jumping the shark in premise, ots why they can become dinosaurs and go to the future or fudual Japan. The magic happens to them because they already are so strange as a concept. Everything else is trying to one up that.
Two, the art style no longer gives them a united look as a team. Other movies and shows have been able to have similar shape nut distinct body differences to differentiate the turtles. 80s shoe was the letters, 2003 was the color of their skin, and often they have different colored bandanas and weapons (the comics had them all wearing red!!).
And three, the show deviated too far from the turtles as characters and turned them into caricatures. Raph and Splinter are the most egregious of these, since splinter is a martial arts master and cares deeply for his sons and raph is not just a dopey muscle man. There is a difference between remaining how something so old works and completely redesigning FUNDAMENTAL CHARACTER TRAITS
Also the ONLY show to have a more rounded art style was the 80s sitcom cartoon style one? 2003 was more gritty, 2012 has cheap CGI but was going for younger turtles anyways, and even then their shredder was more intense than the 80s shredder. Not to mention the movies which were full body puppets that needed to do stunt work a lot for the first three live action ones, 2007 TMNT isn't rounded and cartoonish at all and in fact proves that raph isn't supposed to be big and muscular just literally built different, batman vs TMNT is the LEAST cartoonish the cartoons get, and the Bay movies are just transformers turtles. Not to mention the latest movie is an actual reimagined turtles movie that still has the important aspects there.
So my tldr is that rottmnt is a show that would be really good if it wasn't a tmnt show because it simply ignores the foundations of tmnt. Thank you

I like to add a few more aus ideas multiversal travel is always option for ether side. Krang invade and the justice league and turtles team up maybe some other mutants as well this idea also work for Triceratons
Batman needs help so he tracks down his old teacher to New York sewers master splinter or master splinter in trouble and needs help so turtle go look for one his old students Batman is another good one
The batman vs the ninja turtles exist for prime au material like just add to it
The turtles could join the titen when forced to leave New York for any reason
Mutagen is being snuggled into Gotham/metropolis and Batman/Superman are have some of their villains use it so now they need find the source and maybe some help to
Batman buys TCRI thats whole ass au their or worse lex buys TCRI.
There you go some more prompts for anyone who wants
april could also start dating anyone you wanted as well and the turtles give shovel talk also kind fun like dick starts dating april and learn that mutants exist and something happening in New York
I have been very sick the last couple weeks and it sucks but I'm getting better and in my doom scrolling I realized the lack of tmnt and dc is appalling. Like their's a free crossover it feels like if you ever watch a TMNT cartoon you would know that shit isn't far off from dc like a lot of magic episodes reminded me of justice league dark. Batman or the league of assassin's would be great enemies/temp allies for the foot clan and turtles I could see the justice league helping with krang invasions
It just people are already compare everything to the turtles I feel like the lack of turtle fic are to small as is but the fact Batman and ninja turtles have met multiple times and no one's talks about how good a crossover dc and ninja turtles is a crime. For people wondering what do you mean magic similar to justice league dark it been a minute since I've watched every single turtles but I remember an episode where the turtles turned into dragons to beat a demonic shredder and to full fill a prophecy only for that not to work and have to rely on their martial arts which sounds like Constantine going plan A than when that fails fucking wing it and I know this probably not the best example and their better threw out tmnt.
Also who says you have use specific set of turtles make your own au turtles for crying out loud if one or if version of the turtles doesn't seem like a great fit choose another. Here's some free au idea for anyone who wants it the justice league learn about mutants and the turtles and wonder what they should do or another good one is the turtles are forced to leave New York because of shredder they go to Gotham or metropolis and help Superman or Batman and said hero help them get back into New York . The turtles vs the justice league. Justice League dark helps the turtles threw one of their magical adventures. Turtles meet the robins which people compare to all the time I 100% believe Jason todd and Ralph would get along and debate each other and depending on the Ralph I could 100% see Jason making them a Jane Austin fan.
My point of this post is their a free crossover with a lot of potential and people aren't using it.

I’m rewatching Batman vs. TMNT and I wish Splinter was there too. I would like to see a scene when he and Alfred share a moment over their reckless adoptive kids.

I was told I can hyperfixate and rant about my hyperfixation so uh… just like Donnie sometimes I collect data but it’s usually the most stupidest or the most random data points I can recall. For this example, I randomly thought about how most Donnies in every incarnation has terrible luck with the amount of angst they have from shows and movies they’re from. All the turtle boys have gone through so much suffering, but I want to get this out of my head. This purple clad turtle can fit a lot of trauma :,)
WARNING THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FOR 2003, 2012, Rise, a bit of 2019, I don’t really need to mention IDW (which I haven’t read yet but know of) and The Last Ronin (which I also haven’t read yet but know of). SO BE WARY.
I sadly can’t include 1987 yet due to not watching it completely yet (currently on the 90’s movies and going backwards). I may not include EVERYTHING cause I don’t memorize everything entirely sometimes and I’m not doing research for this post because this is just a messy rant. Anyways yes, the pain and suffering for the purple clad turtle- Donatello Hamato/Splinterson.
2003 Donatello - Has gone through double mutation, almost had his brain fried by the Triceratons, ahem episode Same As It Never Was, has witnessed like the other bros the beaten up forms of his bros on multiple occasions, the “death” of Master Splinter
2012 Donatello - Almost got his brain fried too by Karai by electrocution (I wonder if they got inspired by 2003 over there), literally DIED at one point but came back, almost got vivisected by a hateful gang who hated mutants, has gotten beaten up many times, became a murderous car, in an alternate future(?) he lost his body and became a robot that helped Raph survive the post-apocalyptic world, and the death of a family member :,)
2018-2020 (Rise) - Rip proper validation, got his battle shell shredded, allowed the takeover of kraang tentacles to become a spaceship on his exposed shell, almost lost two of his brothers, all his tech failed against Shredder and that included losing Shelldon practically his son, and could be more BECAUSE WE DON’T have season 3 D:
2019 (Batman vs. TMNT) - got his completely arm broken if I recall correctly (it’s worse than you think when you watch it xd)
But the pain of Donnie is strong in these incarnations bro like - they all need therapy. Due to these spoilers, Idk how to work spoilers if there is any way to spoil text but to play it safe I won’t add any tags here as this is just a random rant of mine. Thank you for coming to my Tedtalk, have a good day :)

For the week of 27 May 2019
Quick Bits:
A Walk Through Hell #10 somehow gets even more disturbing as we’re shown some of McGregor’s past as he was abused and set up as a suicide. The horror that Garth Ennis, Goran Sudžuka, Ive Svorcina, and Rob Steen keep exploring in this series keeps getting more personal and seemingly has no limit to its depth.
| Published by AfterShock

Amazing Spider-Man #22 concludes (mostly) the “Hunted” arc as Kraven continues to try to convince Spider-Man that he’s a killer and to finally put Kraven out of his misery. It’s incredibly messed up logic, but Nick Spencer, Humberto Ramos, Victor Olazaba, Edgar Delgado, Erick Arciniega, and Joe Caramagna make it interesting. You could consider this end anti-climactic, especially after how long this has been, but I get the feeling we’ll be dealing with the ramifications for a while to come.
| Published by Marvel

Amber Blake #3 takes an interesting turn as an undercover operation into a modelling agency reveals that Amber’s childhood friend Amanda is still alive. The level of intrigue and twists in this story just keeps escalating, matching the density of the layouts and art from Butch Guice, Mike Perkins, and Dan Brown.
| Published by IDW

Angel #1 is incredible. Possibly even better than the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series and that has set a ridiculously high bar. Bryan Edward Hill, Gleb Melnikov, Gabriel Cassata, and Ed Dukeshire embrace the darker, moodier feel of Angel consistent with the different atmosphere that was present in the television series, while diving deep into building up his dark past and conflicted future. There’s a lot that is new to this interpretation, which just makes it more intriguing. And the art from Melnikov and Cassata is gorgeous.
| Published by BOOM! Studios

Ascender #2 advances the vamps’ plan to eradicate the remaining technology in the universe, as Andy is reunited with Bandit, and the vamps come to threaten him and his family. This remains an interesting new take on the Descender world from Jeff Lemire, Dustin Nguyen, and Steve Wands as we see more of what’s happened since the end of that series.
| Published by Image

Batman: Last Knight on Earth #1 is an interesting debut from Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion, FCO Plascencia, and Tom Napolitano. On its surface, it’s an “Old Man Bruce” story, as a previously comatose Bruce awakens in a dark and strange future. But this existence is weird and unreliable. Especially as Bruce awakens in a fiction at first, being told that he’s in Arkham and that all of his villains and time as Batman were fever dreams cooked up by a fractured mind. This may well be the best art ever from Capullo, Glapion, and Plascencia.
| Published by DC Comics / Black Label

Black Science #40 shows that the story still has some surprises in store as it rockets towards the end. Also some ridiculous jokes. Matteo Scalera and Moreno Dinisio continue to inventive as hell with the art.
| Published by Image / Giant Generator

Coda #12 is the explosive, brilliant conclusion to what has been on the best series of this year and last. Si Spurrier, Matías Bergara, Michael Doig, and Jim Campbell have delivered some stunning flights of imagination, tapping into some highly inventive nihilistic fantasy, presenting the final battle battle this issue, and, man, does it stick the landing. Phenomenal storytelling all around.
| Published by BOOM! Studios

Daredevil #6 begins “No Devils, Only God” in a New York City without Daredevil. Lalit Kumar Sharma, Jay Leisten, and Java Tartaglia come on for art duties for this arc and it’s an interesting shift. Sharma’s style reminds me a bit of Klaus Janson’s, but without the heavy inks and shadows.
| Published by Marvel

Detective Comics Annual #2 heads into Year Two territory as we get a new Reaper from Peter J. Tomasi, Travis Moore, Max Raynor, Tamra Bonvillain, Nick Filardi, and Rob Leigh. This is a nice use of the annual format, giving us a satisfying single issue story setting up a possible future arc.
| Published by DC Comics

The Forgotten Queen #4 brings an end to this excellent series exploring the history of Vexana, War-Monger, from Tini Howard, Amilcar Pinna, Ulises Arreola, and Jeff Powell. Very interesting depth added to the character and interesting hints as to what more might be coming, hopefully.
| Published by Valiant

Hellboy vs. Lobster Johnson: Ring of Death elaborates further on Hellboy’s time in Mexico making wrestling movies in a pair of tales from Mike Mignola, Chris Roberson, Mike Norton, Paul Grist, Dave Stewart, Bill Crabtree, and Clem Robins. Seeing a presentation of the movie Hellboy starred in is a real treat.
| Published by Dark Horse

Immortal Hulk #18 leans hard into the body horror aspect of the series, debuting both Betty’s full form as this new Harpy and in the Abomination. Joe Bennett, Ruy José, and Paul Mounts just nail this perfectly.
| Published by Marvel

Killer Groove #1 is a great first issue from Ollie Masters, Eoin Marron, Jordie Bellaire, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. It’s a taut crime drama mixing a never-was musician with the potential of life as a hitman, as he lucks into a kill during a chance encounter. Great art from Marron and Bellaire.
| Published by AfterShock

The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #3 advances the alien plot, sending Kamala and her parents off to Saffa to supposedly fulfill the role of their Destined One, saving the planet again. Saladin Ahmed, Minkyu Jung, Juan Vlasco, Ian Herring, and Joe Caramagna are doing some interesting world-building here, and ensuring that nothing is quite what it seems.
| Published by Marvel

Peter Cannon: Thunderbolt #5 is the beautiful conclusion to what has been a brilliant series from Kieron Gillen, Caspar Wijngaard, Mary Safro, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. It’s been a sequel, satire, criticism, and repudiation of Watchmen, but it’s also been an interesting mediation on “being better” while coming to terms with the nature of reality and learning to deal with the human element.
| Published by Dynamite

Queen of Bad Dreams #2 gets more into the grit of IJ Wei’s investigation into the escaped figment, delivering some great police procedural stuff. The artwork from Jordi Pérez and Dearbhla Kelly is wonderful. Reminding me a lot of some of the work from John Watkiss, particularly during a very impressive action sequence.
| Published by Vault

She Said Destroy #1 is an intriguing science fantasy debut from Joe Corallo, Liana Kangas, Rebecca Nalty, and Melanie Ujimori. It taps into Celtic mythology, presenting a war between Brigid and the Morrigan, but also appears to be telling a coming of age story with some members of the Morrigan’s flock as they try to combat Brigid’s oppression.
| Published by Vault

Star Wars #108 is essentially another one-shot in the 80th anniversary of Marvel celebration, with Matthew Rosenberg and a murderers’ row of new and old Star Wars artists delivering a tale set in the old Marvel continuity. While you’ll get more out of it if you’re familiar with the original series, with familiar faces like Valance Hunter, Domina Tagge, and Jaxxon, but it still works well on its own without having any foreknowledge of previous events.
| Published by Marvel

Stranger Things: Six #1 begins another prequel mini-series, this time introducing us to “Six” and looking into the experiments going on at the Hawkins Labs, from Jody Houser, Edgar Salazar, Keith Champagne, Marissa Louise, and Nate Piekos. I quite liked the first one that served as a view into the terror that Will went through during season one, but this one looks like it’ll be breaking some new ground. Very interested to see more of what happened earlier.
| Published by Dark Horse

Superman: Leviathan Rising Special #1 is a tease for Event Leviathan, the next turn in the Superman series, the forthcoming Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen minis, and the upcoming Supergirl arc once she returns to Earth, but it also manages to tell a fairly entertaining story in its own right as Talia al Ghul kidnaps Clark Kent.
| Published by DC Comics

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #94 continues “City at War” as everything gets nastier and dirtier, and we still haven’t had a full-on incendiary spark yet to ignite even larger warfare. Dave Wachter and Ronda Pattison deliver some incredible artwork. Splinter is very chilling in this one.
| Published by IDW

Thor #13 will make you care about Cul Borson. At least, a little bit. Maybe. Jason Aaron, Mike del Mundo, Marco D’Alfonso, and Joe Sabino deliver on another single issue story broadening the bits and pieces of the War of the Realms.
| Published by Marvel

Transformers #6 takes a break from the ongoing narrative and gives us a look into the past friendship between Megatron and Orion Pax, from Brian Ruckley, Beth McGuire-Smith, and Tom B. Long. There are some interesting parallels between Megatron’s observations and the drifting apart of these two old friends.
| Published by IDW

Wolverine: The Long Night #5 concludes this adaptation of the podcast of the same name from Benjamin Percy, Marcio Takara, Matt Milla, and Joe Caramagna. This has been a mature, psychological thriller amidst all of the violence and darkness, with this final chapter delivering more twists even as it brings the answers.
| Published by Marvel

Action Comics #1011 is the last stop before Event Leviathan starts in earnest and it raises more questions as to what’s going on. Brian Michael Bendis, Steve Epting, Brad Anderson, and Josh Reed have done a great job elevating tension through this lead-up and moving the pieces around the board.
| Published by DC Comics

Assassin Nation #3 is another brutal issue from Kyle Starks, Erica Henderson, and Deron Bennett. The body count remains high and we get more questions about who authorized the hit. There’s some hints that it may all just be misdirection.
| Published by Image / Skybound

Detective Comics #1004 gives us the life history of Astrid Arkham. It’s told largely in full page montages, really allowing Brad Walker, Andrew Hennessy, and Nathan Fairbairn to cut loose on the visuals.
| Published by DC Comics

Faithless #2 sees Faith go to a party, and then it gets weird. This feels like that Griffin Dunne film of him wandering around New York, only with more magic and gorgeous art from Maria Llovet.
| Published by BOOM! Studios

Ghost Tree #2 delivers well on the promise of the first issue, going further with Brandt’s conversations with the spirits around the ghost tree, and setting up the possibility of something horrible coming soon. More gorgeous artwork from Simon Gane, Ian Herring, and Becka Kinzie.
| Published by IDW

Incursion #4 is a fitting conclusion to this series bringing Gilad back to a regular status in the world of the living, with some interesting teases as to what might be further down the line, from Andy Diggle, Alex Paknadel, Doug Braithwaite, Diego Rodriguez, Leonardo Paciarotti, and Marshall Dillon.
| Published by Valiant

Justice League Dark #11 continues “Lords of Order” and keeps burning down the magical side of the DC Universe, while diving very deep into the back catalogue to build up the new. James Tynion IV is developing a very interesting structure for what might be coming.
| Published by DC Comics

Middlewest #7 shows the sheer devastation that Abel can unleash as his powers manifest, similar to the rage that his father has shown, and how his newfound “family” can also let him down horribly. Great work from Skottie Young, Jorge Corona, Jean-Francois Beaulieu, and Nate Piekos as the story seems to be headed for more dangerous waters.
| Published by Image

Star Wars: Age of Rebellion - Jabba the Hutt #1 is an entertaining little story of how Jabba manipulates others to accomplish his goals.
| Published by Marvel

Stone Star #3 gives us another surprise as Dail tries to save Kitzo from being eaten in the arena by Most-Maw. It’s very interesting how this series plays with elements of hero shooters and the designs for the characters and creatures by Max Dunbar are incredible.
| Published by Swords & Sassery

Finish reading batman vs teenage mutant ninja turtles 1,2,3.
Interesting~~~ especially 3 with different dimension (or fuse 2 dimension?) is complected, but fun to compare each turtles and Robins/ Batgirl. Also happy to see master Splinter and Shredder fight together.
I also like movie’s story. Quite surprise master Splinter doesn’t exit. But still like it. Because I think angry Shredder kind of cute(???
Mikey always super cute in any dimension, my baby boy~

MOVIE REVIEW: Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
You know I am WAY OVERDUE for certain reviews. So, may as well begin with a review of something I have been anticipating for a VERY LONG TIME...
One of the best things about IDW Comics is when they have crossover events within their own licensed titles. But a crossover with a company like DC is something particularly special. And when its a couple of titles like Batman or the TMNT, you can bet expectations will be high as far as quality goes. As of now, there has been 4 different series, 3 of them rooted in the current DC/TMNT comics continuity and one based on the DCAU/TMNT 2012 era. But a movie with these two? Pure fantasy...
...is what I would have said maybe 5 years ago. But it has become a reality. A joint project with Nickelodeon, "Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is an animated movie that just about hit all the right notes and gives something for fans of both respective camps something to enjoy.
The story is based mostly around the first miniseries of the crossovers; The Foot Clan has been robbing various labs in Gotham City and Batman is investigating what they're after, but finds out that the Foot have also been targteted by the TMNT, conducting their own investigations. Inevitably the two groups clash and they eventually team up to face a bigger threat in Shredder partnering up with the League of Shadows and Ra's Al Ghul n order to save Gotham.
Unlike the comic, the story takes place within its own universe instead of alternate dimension hopping and, sadly, Master Splinter does not appear with the team (he is mentioned to in a certain instance however near the end.) Batgirl and Robin, however, have expanded roles in the story, which is actually welcome given how everything comes together. The characters act as they would within their respective continuities and they play off with the others in many unique ways (Most notable being Robin's time with Raph, Donnie and Batgirl, the mentor role Batman has for Leo and the rather strained partnership between Shredder and Ra's) and the story has a good balance of humor and darkness in it. This movie is also a notable first for Nickelodeon as it's a PG13 rated film. More on that momentarily as I want to address what was most important, the action.
To put it simple, it's AWESOME. The action scenes are fast paced and exciting, as per many DC or TMNT action scenes and the fights are well choreographed. They are also pretty BRUTAL, one of them being the first initial fight between Shredder and Batman. The second Shredder jumps down from the window to confront the Dark Knight you just knew that it was on. And it only escalates from that point on, the apex being the final fight in Ace Chemicals. At this point the movie had already earned the PG13 rating but this cements it. (Damn, poor Donnie...)
Now what about the PG13 rating? Well yeah, there are some pretty dark and violent stuff in here too, which occurs in the Arkham Asylum scenes (Ra's and Shredder kill some people in particularly gruesome manners and Leo's hallucinations from Scarecrow's toxin) It's something most people probably would not expect from a Nickelodeon movie (yes this is still considered a Nickelodeon movie) but if you have seen the 2012 TMNT series, this is not exactly new.
Overall, this is an awesome movie that does both series justice. (And the easter eggs for the entire Batman/TMNT universe are plentiful) I highly recommend it.

This is totally canon. It happened off-screen and off-panel.
IDW Splonter may or may not be learning. He did get into a battle with Mikey and lose.
The sweet kind sensitive empath youngest having to punch his own dad with his elbow and call him worse than Shredder to prove a point - my heart still hurts.
I mean, Splinter did bring him a new set of nunchaku last Christmas but that does not negate any damn thing, and those boys deserve to be part of the Batfamily instead of having a war general ratdad who treats his kids like soldiers, or a former human ratdad who is still hung up on his old life and kind of lets the boys fly under his radar as much as he seems to love and cherish them before he died while making his oldest the new sensei, or an aging ratdad who eats too much birthday cake while neglecting his kids after he sent the oldest off to another country for reasons I still don't accept. Cough. Pardon me.
Besides: Batgirl, Wonder Woman, and Michelangelo playing dress up while dancing to techno remixes of pop songs.
So I was re-reading the BATMAN VS TMNT comics, cause of the movie, and was looking at the ’ issue covers’ in the back when I saw this
It’s so sad that i’m the IDW universe Batman is a better dad then Splinter

A Splinter who rules the foot clan , tried to make orphans into soldiers and is friends with Bishop on facebook
Yeah Batmans definitely a better dad
