🌓 Embracing the Duality Within: Finding Balance 🌓
Tumblr media
In the intricate tapestry of our minds, a profound dance of duality unfolds. Much like the timeless concept of Yin and Yang, our inner world is a blend of light and shadow, good and evil. It's essential to recognize that these dualities are interconnected, each influencing the other.
🌞 The 'yang' represents our brighter aspects, including love, joy, and kindness.
🌚 The 'yin' symbolizes our darker facets, such as fear, doubt, and imperfection. Just as the sun and moon depend on one another, so do our contrasting qualities.
Acknowledging and accepting our 'yin' side doesn't make us malevolent; it makes us complete. Our shadows teach us valuable lessons and lead to personal growth and self-awareness.
🌗 To achieve inner harmony, we must venture into the depths of our consciousness, confronting our fears and embracing our imperfections. It's through this acceptance that we find transformation and enlightenment.
Celebrate the beautiful yin and yang within you, for in their embrace, you discover your true self. To be in perfect harmony, the yin and yang must find balance in each of our individual chakras. Want to know if your chakras are perfectly healthy and balanced? Click HERE for a free energy check.

Pessimism excused as realism
When you label someone as a pessimist they always feel the need to say “I am a realist”.
People say “I’m a realist” as if their pessimism is actually just recognizing the truth that the world is just shit. Optimism and pessimism are separate from realism.
Realism is viewing the facts as they are. Good and bad things happen. Our world is a balance of opposing forces. Whether you’re a pessimist or an optimist has to do with the outcomes that you expect in a given situation. And I’m tired of people excusing pessimism as realism.
Horrible, awful, inhumane things happen every day. That most people are ignorant to. Most of these things are impossible to know about, excel for the big ones. War. Torture. Rape. Corruption. Murder. Betrayal. Cruelty. We would all be ignorant not to accept and acknowledge those facts. But realism involves recognizing the existence of both positive and negative aspects of life and acknowledging the dynamic nature of our world.
Every day amazing and beautiful human experiences take place in the world. The warmth of friendship, the depth of love, the power of people coming together to cause change. Someone finally feeling happy. Someone finally feeling safe. Sacred things like music and art. The natural beauty of the world. Learning, growth, improvement, progress. Kindness.
Yet these positive aspects are overlooked and overshadowed by our fixation on negativity. We minimize the significance of these moments. Cruelty stems from a lack of love, from damage, and from pain. Often, those events are not someone’s fault. That’s why I think that the good in life is more significant than the bad. Everyone has experienced pain. Everyone has experienced things that could have driven them to negativity or cruelty or corruption. But people choose to grow from pain and embrace positivity and love, which is not easy. Being good is the harder choice.
Maybe the world is against us. Maybe there are systems set in place that are not in everyone’s favor and there are people in control with bad intentions. I think that some of those things can be viewed as objective facts. The world is not fair. But we have to be intentional with how we choose to view and discuss the world.
Viewing the world as irredeemably negative might limit our ability to contribute to our improvement. It might lead to a sense of powerlessness and apathy. Hope in itself can be a driving force for positive change, motivating people to actively engage in creating a better world. Hope is not synonymous with ignorance. Hope is a conscious choice to recognize the full spectrum of human experiences.
We don’t have a choice but to feel hope. We have to be realistic. But it is our duty to stay good and to recognize the good and opportunities in the world. There are people in horrible conditions, who have experienced much more pain than I have, that still feel hope. As someone who is very privileged I feel responsible to embrace hope, share it, and make a meaningful impact with the life that I’ve been given.
Individual actions can be transformative. Human beings have always had the potential for positive growth and impact, in the face of adversity and all odds against us. Do not lead your life ignorant, that is not acceptable. Being aware is such a hard choice. Being good is even harder. Remaining positive is the hardest choice. But it is our responsibility. Harness resilience, contribute to positive change, help to shape a world that reflects the beauty and potential for good that exists alongside the challenges. Our ability to aspire towards goodness, to help others, and to remain hopeful and positive, despite the complexities of life, despite pain and suffering, is what makes us human. Be a human being.

When I first saw this quote I quite didn't understand it but as we mature in life( the inner landscape) it speaks about the importance of two things in our lives: grounding & balancing our energy( Awareness). These are both key to maintaining success in all areas of our lives. It can be challenging to stay aware of these things when we're faced with unexpected challenges life throws at us, but it's important to remember the power(God) we have within us(Temple). Wishing you all the best! #awareness #grounding #healthiswealth #challengesoflife #balanceoflife #livelife #dalailama #sacredtrinitydigiagency

Sadness gives depth. Happiness gives height. Sadness gives roots. Happiness gives branches. Happiness is like a tree going into the sky, and sadness is like the roots going down into the womb of the earth. Both are needed, and the higher a tree goes, the deeper it goes, simultaneously. The bigger the tree, the bigger will be its roots. In fact, it is always in proportion. That's its balance. -- Osho #quilling #withsadnesscomeshappiness #balanceoflife #treesandroots #sadness #happiness #lifethoughts #quilled #letters #s #quillingfun (at Lake Mary, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2OwyZGJNwx/?igshid=s04xwqbdoehx

Here’s one for ya...
I work for a large home improvement store which has a large outside garden center, which is my department. Three or four days ago my fork truck driver was doing his thing, the spotter on the other end was doing his thing, keeping his eye out for stupid customers who think the “Sorry, aisle closed” barriers do not apply to them. Anyway, I get a call from the fork driver and the spotter to come to the aisle where they are working. I walk up to them and ask what’s going on. They both point up to where the bundles of wood fencing is and there, sitting on top of a bundle is a very large falcon enjoying a fresh kill. We stand there marveling at the beauty of this bird. It ignores us, we ignore it. We all go about our work.
The next day, early morning, my co-worker who was opening the garden center, comes out to find the same falcon sitting on the floor with a dove in it’s talons. This startles her and startles the bird. The bird takes off with its meal and my co-worker goes inside to tell the manager on duty about it. I come in at 2 pm to find both sets of doors to the garden center locked and blocked off. What. The. Fuck?
why is my garden center closed?
because there is a very large hawk outside
*blink, blink* where?
in the back corner by the fencing.
*heavy sigh. Moves block, unlocks doors and shoves them open*
Don’t go out there! There is a hawk!
*turning to manager* First off it’s a falcon. Second, it is perched up high enough that it can enjoy its meal without being disturbed. When it’s done, it will leave. What I find interesting is that y’all will close and lock the garden center down because of bird but you won’t close the garden down when ice is sliding off the roof.
Yesterday the Falcon returned for its morning meal, caught another dove and the co-worker who found the falcon yesterday morning decided to put some plastic owls around the garden as a deterrent to keep the falcon away (good luck with that). I had to explain to two of my managers and a hand full of my co-workers that there is zero reason for the falcon to “attack” anyone. There is no nest, no eggs or chicks to protect. The building is not high enough for a mated pair to even consider building a nest here. The reason the falcon is using our garden center as a place to hunt is because the crows that kept the larger birds of prey out of the area are longer around (the trees that the crows used to nest in have been cut down because humans suck). The upside is that the mice will be less in the garden and maybe the starlings
Last night, just before the sun set the falcon returned and hung out with me as I cleaned up. I thanked it for joining me. Whished it a good night and told it that it was more than welcome to stay in the area. I am closing again tonight so I’ll see what happens. I haven’t gotten a name for it yet and I’m not sure if it is male or female but every time I see it, I greet it with a “Hi Baby!”
