Wanting positive experience is a negative experience; accepting negative experience is a positive experience. It’s what the philosopher Alan Watts used to refer to as “the backwards law”— the idea that the more you pursue feeling better all the time, the less satisfied you become, as pursuing something only reinforces the fact that you lack it in the first place. - The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck

A/N
Hi guys! So, I've been obsessed with Star Wars all my life and I am really into reading about different religions and spiritual practices as well as being a spiritual person who dabbled into witchcraft for many years.
Basically, to make the (very) long story short, my obsessed ass (that has waaaay too much free time on her hands) decided to create my own spiritual practice that is inspired by the Star Wars movies and my portrayal of the Jedi Order (if they never went astray), but making it real life spirituality by including the mix of The Three Teachings (Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism), Animism with Stoicism and some of my own personal beliefs. The main focus of it would be the Force and "worshipping" it, like they did in SW and how irl people worship nature.
Now, I know that Jediism is a thing, but it already has some established principles and concepts, and I kinda wanted to create my own thing. It may have some similarities (probably many), but I'll also be taking a lot from other spiritual practices (respectfully), and try to create a safe space and environment. It would be similar to what George Lucas had in mind but my own personal take. Some of the texts, prayers and principles in the future will probably be from those mentioned religions plus SW, but modified slightly to make it fit better, so please don't go at me, in case it seems like appropriation, cause I'm really trying to be respectful and share something I personally believe in and follow.
Keep in mind I'm mostly making this on the go, that is, as I discover more and more things that make sense to me personally, and that I can connect to some of my already established beliefs. Here I'd share some of the prayers I made or borrowed, principles and codes I try to stick to and live by and my own views and ideas. So, if you're interested you can follow me or maybe even give it a go yourselves. Also, let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to answer them for you. :)
P.S.
I am a sucker for aesthetics and design so there will be a LOT of gifs, pictures and SW-inspired content (and even more Obi-Wan). So bare with me lol.
Now here's a pic of my comfort character I'd give my life for, Obi-Wan being Obi-Wan (Bare with me, I am an obsessed fan lol):

Welcome to our Tumblr blog post on self-care and improving mental health! In our fast-paced and often stressful world, taking care of ourselves and prioritizing our well-being is of utmost importance. In this post, we will share five effective ways to enhance your self-care routine and strengthen your mental health. Take a moment for yourself and let's explore how you can boost your overall well-being.
Practice Mindfulness: Incorporating mindfulness into your daily life can have profound positive effects on your mental health. Take regular moments to be fully present, consciously observing your senses. Take deep breaths, pay attention to your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Engaging in mindfulness regularly can reduce stress, improve concentration, and enhance overall well-being.
Tumblr media
Establish Healthy Routines: Structured routines can provide a solid foundation for your well-being. Allocate ample time for balanced meals, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep. Prioritize your needs and make room for relaxation and rejuvenation. By integrating healthy habits into your daily life, you promote your mental health and strengthen your self-care practices.
Tumblr media
Cultivate Social Connections: Humans are social beings, and connecting with others can have a positive impact on our well-being. Actively seek supportive social connections, whether it's with friends, family, or like-minded individuals. Share your feelings, interests, and challenges, and receive support in return. Building a social network can alleviate stress, combat loneliness, and enhance overall well-being.
Tumblr media
Explore Creative Outlets: Creativity can be a wonderful way to promote your mental health. Discover creative outlets that bring you joy, such as painting, writing, singing, or dancing. Let your imagination run wild and find ways to express yourself. Engaging in creative activities can reduce stress, elevate mood, and serve as a source of self-fulfillment.
Tumblr media
Set Boundaries and Practice Self-Care: Recognize that you can't do everything for everyone and that it's crucial to set your own boundaries. Allow yourself to say "no" when feeling overwhelmed and consciously make time for self-care. Find activities that bring you joy and recharge your energy, whether it's taking a relaxing bath, reading a book, or listening to your favorite music. By prioritizing your own needs, you nurture your mental health and gain the necessary energy to be there for others.
Tumblr media
Conclusion: Self-care and improving mental health are ongoing processes rather than one-time actions. Take time to prioritize self-care and incorporate these five ways into your daily routine. By caring for your mental health, you lay a solid foundation for a fulfilling and balanced life. You deserve to give your best and prioritize your own well-being.

Building a Fortress: The Deeper Meaning Behind My Fitness Journey
Someone once said to me, "Why do you train so much? You look miserable lifting all those weights." My reply needed to be prefaced with some background context because the answer to that question would sound truly pessimistic without it. I needed them to understand that my answer came from a place of philosophical optimism and not pessimism. I told them that I build my body up at the gym because my body is the only thing I feel like I own in this world. It's the only constant in my life that I know will be with me forever until I die. My loved ones, my home, my wealth, and even my sanity can (and will) be lost eventually. Everything I cherish can be taken away instantly, and I cannot control that. The one thing I feel in actual control over is how my body looks and, in many cases, how it performs.
So why wouldn't I want my soul cradled in a strong fortress? This attitude came as a surprise to many people who saw me grow up as a chubby little boy with cheeks like rolls from Texas Roadhouse. Growing up, I was known for overeating. When I was 8 years old my father received a call from the neighbor. I had been at his house that day, playing with his son. He told my dad he was considering taking his son and me to Golden Corral and asked permission to bring me along. That was my first introduction to the concept of a buffet. At the time, we were relatively poor, so the idea of eating all you can eat came as a challenge to me, a sweet, delightful challenge. Twenty minutes after my first course, instead of walking up to get a fifth plate of Mac and cheese, I walked quickly to the bathroom with my chubby hands pressing against my lips. Once I was in the bathroom, I immediately went to the nearest toilet, where I proceeded to throw up an endless variety of food items I had absorbed so quickly and unceremoniously. When I picked myself up from the toilet, I took a few seconds to gather myself. Sweat ran down my left temple, and as I wiped spaghetti sauce from my lips, I thought, "Oh, good. Now I have room for dessert."
I am at the gym almost every day but hardly anyone knows that. I never got comfortable with the selfie. The word itself is cring-inducing to me. Posing yourself for a picture without anything meaningful or interesting in the background is so strange, but the internet is an abundant sea of selfies, and the worst type is the gym selfie. You know, the one where someone has an extra pump in the muscle, maybe they're in a shadowy environment where it looks like they are more muscular than they really are.
As for me, I will keep my body to myself. And if the public sees my body recomposition, with all its muscles and striations, it'll be at the only acceptable place, the beach, as the Good Lord intended. Perhaps I'm being too harsh. I believe the gym selfie is a form of positive reinforcement to many. It shows results. Perhaps that's the motor that keeps people going to the gym and making better decisions. Vanity is an excellent motivator.
I don't take selfies at the gym, and I also don't talk at the gym. I didn't spend $400 on state-of-the-art noise-canceling headphones so I could talk to strangers about dieting fads and proper form. Besides, the people at my gym must think that I'm a weirdo. If I were a betting man (and I did have a gambling problem), I would bet that they must think I am a psychopath. And there's a good reason for that; I once read the entirety of Fyodor Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment while walking in circles. I did that for two hours straight at the gym track for several weeks. I did that while wearing a 40 lb vest, although the book was heavy enough. The strangest part must’ve been the book cover as shows a man (Raskolnikov) wielding a bloody ax. I must've looked like a madman, but I didn't care. With so few hours in the day to read and get 10,000 steps, I needed to read and walk simultaneously.
I wish I could instill my drive for fitness into other people, but it's hard when I don't even talk about it. I learned a long time ago that fitness is a most personal journey. What works for me probably won't work for someone else. It may not motivate or change their minds. The only thing I am sure of is that fitness is a science; it's biology and thermal dynamics at its core, and because it is a science, it's inclusive to everyone who does it right. Results are guaranteed to anyone who follows the science and doesn't get sidetracked with pills or fads that promise a shortcut to a healthy life. As little as I talk about my fitness journey, I know that my results do most of the talking.
That's not to say that I don’t occasionally indulge in the sweetness of red velvet cake or a sip of cherry wine. I eat anything I want because I know that food is not the problem; the problem is the lack of balance. To me there's no such thing as unhealthy foods, what’s unhealthy is how much you consume those foods. Food is life, and life should tast good. That could be another reason my friends and family need to learn about my consistent gym life. I don't go to the gym because I eat so much; I eat so much because I go to the gym.
Some day, I will be old (ideally), and I'd like to know, in those later years, that I made an effort to be my best self throughout my life. Of course, I could get hit by a bus next week, and it won't matter how many pushups I did that morning. What matters is that I live with purpose, and what better purpose is there than to make yourself the best version of yourself possible?

Life Lens - Entry 221
I find myself in a unique place where I embody both softness and ruthlessness like never before. This duality has shaped me into a more complex and resilient person. My softness allows me to connect deeply with others, to empathize and show compassion in a world that often feels harsh. I am learning to embrace vulnerability, recognizing that it takes strength to be gentle. This softer side…

Reality vs. Delusion: The Dance of Growth 🌿✨
Life is a delicate balance between what we know to be real and what we dream to achieve. The space between reality and delusion is where growth truly happens. Here are 10 thoughts to reflect on as you navigate your own journey:
Reality grounds you, it’s the foundation that helps you stay present and aware of your circumstances. 🌍
Delusion inspires you to push beyond limits, creating visions and dreams that seem impossible at first. 💭
Growth happens when you allow your dreams to challenge your current reality and take small steps toward making them real. 🚀
Too much reality can limit your imagination, making you feel stuck and uninspired. Break free by daring to dream! 💡
Too much delusion can make you lose sight of the real-world actions needed to achieve your goals. Balance is key. ⚖️
The best ideas often come from allowing yourself to indulge in a bit of creative delusion—just enough to spark innovation. ✨
Reality can be harsh, but it also provides clarity, helping you recognize your strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth. 💪
Delusion offers hope, the belief that something greater is possible, even if others can’t see it yet. 🌟
The most successful people live in that space between reality and delusion—acknowledging the present while dreaming of the future. 🔥
Your journey to growth is about learning to dance between these two forces. Embrace reality, but never stop dreaming! 💫
Let reality guide you and let your delusions fuel you. The magic lies in finding the balance. 🌿✨

Work-Life Balance: When Your Leadership Says "We're Family"
Navigating work-life balance is a constant juggle, but when leadership introduces the phrase “we’re family”, things can get a bit tricky. 🤔 It’s one thing to work in a harmonious, collaborative environment where everyone genuinely supports one another, but it’s another when this statement is used manipulatively. Today, we’re going to explore different types of leadership styles, the phrase “we’re…

The Universal Story: A Reflection on Sant Kabir’s Wisdom
Tumblr media
In the doha, “Kabir, kya jani sab ko, jagat ki kya kahani; Sukh dukh, yeh sab paise, yeh dharti, ek hi aani,” Sant Kabir presents a profound spiritual insight. He points out the fleeting nature of worldly experiences and material pursuits, emphasizing that happiness and sorrow, wealth and the very earth beneath us, all share a common thread—they are transient and insignificant in the grand story of life.
In a world where material possessions and external achievements often define success, Sant Kabir's words invite us to look deeper. The doha teaches that everything in life—whether joy or grief, wealth or poverty—is part of the same fleeting, impermanent story. Our human experiences are momentary, just like the money we earn and the ground we stand on. They come and go, but they don’t define the essence of who we are. What matters is not clinging to these ephemeral states, but learning to rise above them.
The Illusion of External Satisfaction
We are often led to believe that the story of the world revolves around acquiring happiness through external means—whether it be money, status, or possessions. When we achieve these things, we feel joy, and when we lose them, we experience sorrow. But Sant Kabir asks us to question this narrative: Does true happiness come from external sources? Is sorrow truly tied to what we lack?
In reality, both happiness and sorrow are subjective experiences influenced by our attachments. Money, material goods, or even the earth we stand on may appear to be the source of our experiences, but in truth, they are fleeting. Sant Kabir’s doha underscores that the story of life is not about what we have or don’t have—it’s about how we perceive and respond to what life brings. If we base our happiness or suffering on these impermanent states, we will remain trapped in the cycle of attachment and loss.
Spiritual Detachment: Finding the True Story
Sant Kabir’s message speaks to the practice of detachment—a central theme in many spiritual traditions. This does not mean abandoning life’s responsibilities or joys but shifting our perspective from attachment to awareness. True peace comes not from eliminating sorrow or clinging to happiness, but from understanding that both are temporary.
The story of the world, as Sant Kabir suggests, is not something we can fully grasp through intellect or material success. It is something to be experienced through the soul's wisdom. Once we step away from the surface-level drama of wealth and emotional fluctuations, we begin to see that life’s deeper meaning resides in our ability to live in harmony with whatever comes our way.
The doha hints at the idea that we all play a small role in the cosmic dance, and our individual experiences—both joyous and painful—are not as significant as they might seem. True fulfillment comes from realizing that we are part of something greater, a collective consciousness where the individual "I" dissolves into the "we."
A Practical Toolkit for Incorporating Sant Kabir’s Wisdom:
Here are some practical ways to incorporate this spiritual teaching into daily life, helping you live in balance and peace regardless of external circumstances:
Mindful Observation Start observing your reactions to both happiness and sorrow. Next time you feel joy or sadness, pause and ask yourself, “Is this moment permanent? Does it define me?” This practice helps create distance between your emotional state and your true self.
Daily Detachment Practice Each day, practice letting go of something small that you’re attached to—whether it’s a material item, a fixed routine, or even an expectation. Detachment is about freeing yourself from reliance on external conditions for happiness.
Shift from Accumulation to Appreciation Begin valuing experiences over possessions. Instead of focusing on acquiring wealth or material items, shift your focus to appreciating the experiences, relationships, and growth that life offers. Life's true value is found in the depth of these experiences, not in their permanence.
Cultivate a Balanced Perspective Recognize that just as wealth and success are fleeting, so too are hardships. Neither one stays forever. Practice cultivating a balanced perspective by embracing both joy and pain as temporary visitors in your life.
Practice Gratitude in Loss When you face loss—whether it’s financial, emotional, or otherwise—practice gratitude for the lessons and growth it offers. This simple shift in perspective can transform how you experience sorrow and enable you to move through it with greater grace.
Align with a Greater Purpose Remind yourself regularly that you are part of something larger than your individual desires. By focusing on service to others, contribution to your community, or aligning with a higher spiritual purpose, you transcend the ego-driven need for constant joy or material success.
Meditation on Impermanence Set aside time daily for meditation focused on the impermanence of all things. This practice deepens your understanding that life’s ups and downs are part of the same flow, helping you cultivate inner peace regardless of external conditions.
The Bigger Picture: Letting Go of Control
Ultimately, Sant Kabir’s doha reminds us that we cannot control the story of the world. We cannot dictate how long happiness will last, nor can we prevent sorrow from entering our lives. The sooner we accept this truth, the more peaceful we will become.
Happiness and sorrow, wealth and loss, are all expressions of the same cosmic dance. Our task is not to escape these experiences but to learn to move with them gracefully, knowing that they are all part of life’s rhythm.
In surrendering control and understanding that all things—money, possessions, emotions—come and go, we find freedom. The Earth, as Sant Kabir suggests, is abundant, but this abundance isn’t in material form. It’s found in the peace that comes from letting go of attachment to external outcomes and resting in the knowledge that we are part of something infinitely greater.

Let's not be oblivious
As I sit here listening to my chakra music, I feel a profound sense of calm. The gentle vibrations align with my inner energy, helping me centre myself in a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming. While this music brings peace to my mind, it also sparks a deeper reflection on the world we live in. A world where, every day, people fight for freedom, justice, and equality.
This feeling of being trapped is eerily reminiscent of a line from The Matrix: "Billions of people living out their lives... oblivious." Oblivious? But to what? You might ask.
Well, for those of us who have been paying attention, it's clear that something fundamental has changed in our society, especially in the United Kingdom.
So, are we oblivious? Perhaps some of us are. Perhaps some of us are content to go through life without questioning the systems around us, without wondering why certain ideas are deemed acceptable while others are shunned.
But for those of us who are paying attention, it's hard to ignore the creeping sense of restriction that now governs our speech and our thoughts. Freedom of speech. We often hear about it, celebrate it, and even defend it.
But do we still truly have it? Increasingly, it seems that expressing an opinion—especially one that doesn't fit neatly within the boundaries of mainstream ideology has become a perilous act.
No, I'm not talking about hate speech or incitement to violence. I'm referring to honest, open dialogue something that should be the bedrock of any democratic society. Take offence, for example. It's a natural part of human interaction.
We say things, we hear things, and sometimes those things don't sit right with us. When did we become so fragile, so easily wounded by words? I firmly believe, and always will, that being offended is a choice.
We can choose to be hurt by what someone says, or we can choose to engage in conversation, to challenge ideas, and to grow from the exchange. It seems we've reached a point where the mere act of disagreeing with someone can be seen as an attack on their very identity.
Pronouns, for instance—something as simple as getting them wrong can lead to an uproar. I understand the importance of respecting others and acknowledging their experiences etc, but is this really where we are now?
Have we become so thin-skinned that a misstep in language warrants outrage? It wasn’t that long ago that good men and women fought in wars to protect us from the onslaught of Communism and Nazism. I can say will all sincerity none and I mean NONE of them ever bothered to care about if they “hurt” someone's feelings.
The problem, I believe, runs deeper than just pronouns or debates about identity. (I am purely using that as an example) It's about control. In the name of protecting feelings, we've created an environment where expressing an opinion can feel dangerous. Where being honest can get you cancelled/silenced.
I will NEVER be silenced for my opinions or my right to speak. This isn't freedom. It's the opposite. It's a form of social policing that stifles creativity, humour, and genuine human connection.
We're living in a world where people are terrified of saying the wrong thing, not because they're hateful, but because they don't want to be labelled as such. And this fear? It's a powerful tool in the hands of those who seek to control the narrative.
The question is, what do we do about it? Do we continue to live in fear of offending others, walking on eggshells to avoid conflict? Or do we take a stand for the freedom to speak our minds, even if it means ruffling a few feathers along the way? For me, the answer is clear. We need to embrace discomfort.
We need to welcome difficult conversations. We need to reclaim the right to speak freely, to be wrong, to learn, and to grow. Because without that, we're just living in oblivion—billions of us, trapped in a world where silence is safer than truth. As I continue to listen to my chakra music, I can't help but feel that balance is the key.
Not just in our personal lives, but in society as a whole. We need to find the middle ground where respect and free speech can coexist. Where we can honour each other's experiences without sacrificing the right to express our own. The fight for freedom, justice, and equality isn't over. But it's not just about legal battles or protests in the streets.
It's about the everyday choices we make to stand up for our right to speak, to listen, and to live authentically—even when it's uncomfortable.
Let's not be oblivious. I find hope in resistance. In pushing back against a world that wants to box me in. In refusing to apologise for my speech or anything else I do. I see strength in the people who have come before me, who fought to be seen and heard, who shattered barriers and defied expectations.
As Ferruccio Lamborghini once said, “We only lose when we give up.”
