Mod MCH here adding in some extra points from the previous post (cant link with anon) because undiagnosed ADHD go brrr and i'll occasionally think of something to say after i've already dusted my hands of the situation

don't suck the fun out of internet polls for fictional characters about arbitrary personal opinions just because you've based your entire personality around being a simp for said fictional character. its not cool or fun to shit on other characters and the people that enjoy them (or make ridiculous claims like "doing everything they can do get G'raha eliminated")

its fun to go feral and say crazy shit about the character you love. don't let that extend to shitting on the other characters and people that enjoy them when your favourite is up against another character. go touch some grass, feel the light on your skin, have a conversation with someone face to face. maybe enjoy your local sights? revaluate yourself and your enjoyment of something if it results in being hateful to others

I will say this is the last we'll talk about it, if only because the drama i'm worried continued conversation will cause will drain the fun even more. This tournament has been fun and has legit been a joy and something I look forward to, but when I get online and think "i'm not going to read the tags anymore" or "I don't want to check the polls" it reminds me how really funny it is how very quickly (almost a month) the tune and attitude of something fun can change.

So instead of feeling like I have to scold a group of people or like I don't want to continue the polls I'm just gonna take a break and not interact with y'all until the finals! gonna practice what i preach, ya dig?

While I'm thinking about it more space marine(chaos or not) should be fat.

I know that space marines are engineerd to not get fat but hear me out. Not only do space wolfs have feasts, but the blood angels use art to combat the red thirst i.e that chocolateter guy who goes viral every now and then. But it could also be a reason that a space marine fell to chaos after centuries of eating the same Nutrient paste I know that at least one space marine had a meat ball or something and was like "danm food is so good when its not just paste" and if slaanesh shows up promising more food that taste and feels good and more,I know I'd take it. But it would also give more protection for their internal organs and also I think space marines that looked like this but much bigger would be so hot

Some Mountain and Ifrit fluff because i feel people kinda forget Mountain was also part of the Popestar ghouls and I need more of those two interacting.

Mountain's lips twitch up when the smell of cedar and caramel fills his nostrils, a second before strong arms wrap around his waist from behind.

"Hello, Ifrit. Everything alright ?"

The fire ghoul pushes his forhead between Mountain's shoulderblades with a small noise. It's an awfully warm day, everyone sweating bullets, and yet Mountain wouldn't dream of pushing Ifrit off him, as hot - in every ways- as he is, the fire ghoul's skin feeling like he laid down under the sun for hours.

Still bent over a wooden table in the greenhouse, Mountain checks one last time the state of the struggling plant he attempted to save for the better part of the day, before straightening and turning around in Ifrit's hold despite the fire ghoul's dramatic whining.

They both realize how the other is dressed at the same time, eyes raking up and down the other's frame.

Well, as for Ifrit, "dressed" is a generous word. In nothing but very short bright pink shorts with the ghost logo printed on the ass, hidding absolutely nothing, the fire ghoul looks positively slutty.

"Why are you dressed like those oversexualized characters in action movies ?"

Ifrit snorts.

"Just missing the shirt tied in a knot right under my huge tiddies, uh ? 's comfy. You're one to talk, looking like a victorian wet dream."

Mountain glances down at his brown pants, held by leather suspenders over a widely opened flowy white shirt, sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and admits to himself that he does look nice.

"Point taken. Is there something I can do for you, firebird ?"

Ifrit grins, retrieving a bag he probably dropped to hug Mountain, from which he extirpates a reusable bottle with lemons and daises doodled on it. With a flourish, he hands it to the earth ghoul.

"Lemonade. Zephyr made it. They thought you'd be thirsty, working your ass off in that weather."

The bottle is blissfully cold in Mountain's hands, probably kept that way by the air ghoul's doing, but he doesn't even have time to thank anyone before a box is shoved in his arms.

"And that's from me. Cupcake. Pistacchio and raspberries. Fresh out the oven. They're still a bit hot though, so you can wait to eat them since it's like, so freaking hot already, but anywa-"

Mountain cuts Ifrit off with a kiss, tasting the raspberries the fire ghoul indoubtably snatched while cooking directly from his lips.

When Mountain leans back with a smug smirk, Ifrit just blinks at him, mouth hanging half opened and cheeks flushed.

"...what was that for ?"

Dragging Ifrit toward an old bench, Mountain huffs.

"That was a thank you."

With a wheezing laugh, Ifrit sits right after Mountain, not questioning the manhandling for a second.

"Remind me to cover you in gifts then."

The box of cupcakes is swiftly opened, filling the greenhouse with its mouth-watering smell, bottle uncapped just as quickly.

"We're sharing this," Mountain anounces.

Ifrit opens his mouth to protest, but the earth ghoul is faster, shoving a cupcake in the fire ghoul's mouth before any sound can be uttered. Only barely avoiding to drop it, green frosting smeared on his nose and upper lips, Ifrit cackles, nearly slipping off the bench and dragging Mountain with him in his attempt to keep his balance.

"You- mrgh - absolute bastard," the fire ghould chuckles in between bites.

The lemonade tastes divine in the suffocating atmosphere of the sun-drenched afternoon, the cupcakes a welcome sweetness after long hours of work, but better than anything, Mountain thinks, is Ifrit smiling soft and tender at him, eyes crinkling in the corners, his laughter bouncing off the greenhouse's glass panels.

so firstly, I think the idea to bake together would come about really randomly! like when you're hanging out w him casually, watching a movie or eating together or sth, you'd mention how much you love chocolate brownies and he'd be like, then let's bake them U ´ᴥ` U ! <3 baby really is ready to do everything as long as it makes you happy :(

I think in leehan's case, he'd be the one following your instructions, simply bcuz he trusts you to do the hard stuff, but he'll help out too of course!! albeit a bit confused and tinsy bit clumsily but he'll be super careful not to make a mess :'( <3

he'll go extra quiet while concentrating and you would not want to disturb him while he's being so serious abt it but at the same time, I can imagine the irresistible adorable little pout he'd make. he's just so cute, I can't :(( </3

so because of that, right as he's done with his task you'd tickle his sides and u'll get to see that pretty pretty toothy smile of his ( っc ) along with the cutest giggles ever! but beware of his revenge! cuz he'll tickle u twice as much, AND pick u up to spin you around at the same time ૮ / / / ⍝ა I might actually just faint... he's the cutest <3

he'll also (not so) sneakily put some of the batter on ur nose and act all innocent afterwards. like... mister! there's no one else in the room, who else could be to blame !! <3 and then he'll just chuckle and peck the tip of your nose, after gently cleaning the batter off ૮ ˊ͈ . ˋ͈ ა

you best believe tho that he'll be at his fish tank the moment u put the tray in the oven to bake. he'll be looking at his fishies to pass the time, and you'd ask him to tell u abt them and then will listen to him cutely rant abt his babies in the softest voice filled with so much adoration <3 <3

he'd be the one taking the brownies out the oven once they're done of course! since he doesn't want u to touch it while it's hot. :(

and then you realize that you don't have any ice cream to put on the brownies, and your frustration would show on ur face. the second he finds out what ur displeased about he'll be running off to sort it out :(( </3 it has to be perfect, he wants you to enjoy the treat to the max!! ♡ˎˊ˗

and as you guys sit down to have the brownies, (that surprisingly came out so good!) his plate would be long forgotten as he'd just be staring at you with heart eyes the whole time, just watching you eat. he'd just tell you he loves to see you eating well :( :( :(

would definitely offer to bake w you again, seeing how much fun you had the last time.. like you'd be out on a date and he'll just drag u into the supermarket to get the ingredients on your way home. he'll just announce that you're baking cookies tonight all enthusiastically (ˊ•͈ ꇴ •͈ˋ) loveliest baby boy just loves to see you happy, and will give u all the sweetest treats in the world ! ♡

WIP Wednesday

I had to proctor the PSAT this morning, which was a mind-numbing drag. BUT! It also means we had a half-day, so I am free! I am on my way to treat myself to lunch, and then who knows what exciting possibilities the day has in store while my own kids are in school. (Honestly, I'll probably just nap and read for a bit.)

I close my eyes again briefly before I feel the swat against my bum. I whip back up to standing. “What was that for?” “Can’t have you falling asleep out here. Go help Ebb in the back.” Gran attempts to herd me away. “Get your hands dirty. I’ll take over the register.” “Fine,” I grumble. “But I’m taking one of these with me!” I grab a biscuit from the display case and wave it in the air, racing towards the back before she can swat me again. I’m not sure precisely how I’m expected to help Ebb. She’s an exceptional baker. Made it a few rounds on Bake Off even. Meanwhile, I get teaspoons and tablespoons mixed up. I tried baking a cake for Penny once. I even asked Gran for a recipe. Although Penny ate my lopsided creation, I could tell by the way she kept her hand over her mouth that it wasn’t very good.  I find Ebb exactly where I expect—arms elbow-deep in a giant bowl. She’s wearing an apron that reads, “Don’t be afraid to take WHISKS.”

i looooove to bake. i’ve been doing it most days since i moved back. but god. god i wish i had borrowers in the walls. i’d love to leave out a warm cookie and a thimble of milk. little tiny loaves of bread for them that i fashioned from extra dough. if they eventually come around to trust me, they could be my little taste testers and help me figure out recipes.

today i’m working on a browned butter, hazelnut poundcake, and all i can think of is how delightful it’d be to cut a tiny slice for a borrower and watch them experience the joy of warm cake for the very first time.
