Chasca and Chuychu Redesigns! (Extra Notes Below!)

Augh, this took me like around 2 weeks, several hours of my sleep and a lot of my little remaining sanity- Also disclaimer I did draw over the outline of Chasca's official in-game weapon because respectfully wtf is that (I always draw weapons by myself as a massive weapon fan, but I was feeling fairly burnt out and that is perhaps the most extremely complex bow design I have ever seen in my whole life-)

ANYWAYS, onto some of the thoughts that went into the redesigns! For Chasca, I changed her vision to Pyro due to Ch'aska (the Inca goddess that Chasca is most likely inspired by) being associated with the morning star (along with being goddess of dawn, the twilight and dusk, as well as the goddess of beauty, virgin women and the flowers). Ch'aska's association with flowers also influenced the decision to add flowers in Chasca's design. I was thinking that Chasca's charged shot on her bow would be like a very bright burning star with ribbons of stardust + fire flowing behind her. The starry motif can be seen in her pants and in the inside of her hat. I had given Chuychu a hydro vision as Chuychu is a rainbow in Inca mythology and a rainbow is created by light that is refracted, reflected and dispersed by water droplets. I also had a fun idea of rainbows being created in the battlefield when Chasca and Chuychu work together.

Overall, I added a lot more gold within their redesigns due to the significance of gold within the Inca civilisation and used textiles from traditional clothes of the Quechua people. I had incorporated aspects from their original canon designs as well. Overall, I hope y'all do enjoy these redesigns! If there is any improvements I can make to these designs, please do tell me! However, if you cannot provide constructive criticism and only have a negative view on these redesigns, please do not interact with this post and move on!!

I just love these fics where Bruce straight up losses control and his kids just start serial adopting each others. There is something so funny about someone who is not ready to be parenting, traumatized, going through life, thinking they have it handled. until they see a kid mimics their behaviors (/coping mechanisms) and have the horrible realization thats how their behavior looks like from the outside and they DO NOT, in fact, have it handled.

it happened to Lighting Farron in ffxiii it happened to Bruce Wayne in DC comics and every time its so funny trying to see some stoic badass fumble as they run trying to stop a kid from doing murder

Same build just changed to widsith:

he is doing bigger numbers for sure. with Hydro res he has 38k hp and without its 34k (so ig he is stuck with Furina and plus hp cards) since Widsith have three buffs and tried multiple rounds to see if the damage varies too much, it waver from 34k to 56k generally. best team is Furina, kazuah, Zhongli all the others had a drop in dmg

EM buff he had about 500 EM but nothing to react to lol I tried seeing what vap be like but everything dies too quickly

And I could have sworn I recorded the attack buff but ig I didn’t, in any case his damage didn’t drop past the 30k

I knew its not going to much better but for the sake of comparison I slapped the Yea miko weapon to see how he does

I still feel he can do better idk but this is definitely better than the hp weapon!

Well, if its not a bother! Any comments on my build? I know there is a room for improvement but also checking in with experts to make sure im on the right track.

The artifacts are a WIP. im thinking more CDMG and HP and ER? I think he needs better rolls just in general. Going to get his weapon eventually but zhongli’s spear scares me ngl, this is the other alternative i have since the prototype is with Kokomi and i relay on her a lot idk…

(He is in teams with Furina, kazuha and a flex typically but also he is new so im figuring things out)

its really good already! you have 50% hp from just substats, thats crazy tbh. thats like second hp sands slot.

about the stats priority, i dont think you need more er, neuvi can function with like zero er in double hydro, esp if there a fav weapon on a team. i've been soloing abyss with 130 ER. so like if you happen to have er, its good, but its not priority, and 120 is more than enough

40k hp is also enough tbh. i think you can sacrifice some hp for crit damage. esp bc you play him with hydro res, it means on field he gets even higher hp, like probably about 42k? crit damage is more valuable now.

but dont throw away current artifacts anyway, bc if you eventually get it, signature weapon on that build would make it insane bc you immediately get 300 crit damage with like 40k hp in double hydro. i had to roll hp hat to get so much hp and you got it all from substats :D

actually in your place i would experiment with using widsith instead, bc you already have so much hp rolls in substats, crit dmg weapon i would think will be better. if its not better, then keep current one, its like about as good as amber. amber is better if you struggle with ER, but you already have pretty good ER, so like dont worry.

with teams, you already have good basis with furina and kazuha, and like yeah, you can use basically use anyone in flex spot. best options are xilonen or zhongli for res shred or like just natlan support to activate natlan set. if you need kazuha on second side, you can use jean on full vv instead, it would get furina's stacks faster

another build, 2vv 2atk, is only slightly weaker than 2atk 2atk the difference is almost unnoticeable, I prefer the first just for bigger numbers dmg and healing-wise (healing like 600 hp per NA :D)

Jean is Super flexible, she is officially a support with her healing and VV; but I personally like to play her main, not even main dps I just like to stay on her when rotating my team lol

So I don't have a special formula for her teams besides the obvious buffers. Usually, at least in my gameplay, she isn't the primary source of damage in the team; she is more of a part of it as she makes sure we don't die and hit 60k/ 80k here and there. So since she is on the field and collecting particles she just spams her burst and stunts the enemies if possible, giving them to Furinas homies for food, with the other two off fielders

Before Furina: I used to finish Abyss with the Kazuha, Benny, and Xingling team. it's a strong core and will work for whoever you slap in the flex spot but Jean Is a very comfy choice since we literally never died and tanked pretty much everything

After Furina: it Furina-Jean core all the way like no comparison, then slap whoever else I need it hardly matters lol, she isn't always the best choice or the easiest but hey, being a Jean main is a choice out of love :3

so i got emilie bc i had burning set kinda laying around bc i farmed bonds set for clorinde and arle, and also bc burning support before pyro region sounds way too sus

and i built her and was like i guess i'm gonna try her? so i went to abyss first half with kaeya melt team (kaeya kazuha emilie benny) and it *shredded*. it was my first time playing this team and first clear was fastest time i had for first half this abyss by like 15 seconds.

now, it must be remarked that this team is carried by kazuha c2 and unfortunately i can't test if it's as good with kazuha c0. and same team with xiangling is only like 4 seconds slower. HOWEVER. emilie had ER 110% and the rotations were easy and flexible, unlike the xiangling version, where we must be chained to xiangling's burst and getting xiangling's burst back. it feels SO GOOD to not have to care about energy. i don't have rizzley, but i imagine, same team would work for him same way

tldr; emilie is not like must have super broken by herself, BUT she can free me from the shackles of xiangling and its good fucking enough for me
