Go paint something to promote your cause instead fuckers.

Do you mean using my very precious time and energy to put my energy into things like calling and emailing senators instead of going to a protest? Do you mean taking breaks so I’m available for the long haul instead of abandoning this when it stops being cortisol-inducing?

Or do you mean not adhering to the BDS list specifically and decided to vague post about it? In which case, be more specific with your language, please and thank you. There are five active genocides going on right now IN ADDITION to the ones most people forgot about (migrants at the American border, far-right violence against trans people, and indigenous people in Canada and Australia still, to this day, being pushed off their land and exterminated). We do not have time to figure out your vague posting.

This is also the best way to make sure anyone open to our side looks at us and goes “holy shit those people are unhinged” and fucks right off. Any political movement that does not allow joy or rest is cultish and needs to be killed in the bud.

there's probably nothing inherently morally wrong with seeking safety and comfort and pleasure but we live in a world where those things are distributed extremely unequally and idk about anyone else but I feel an ethical responsibility to do everything in my power to change that, even if it means making myself unsafe or uncomfortable when my responsibility to other human beings requires it. if genocide is not a situation where you feel a sense of responsibility and urgency that outweighs your instinct to seek temporary nervous system relief, what are you actually living for? and have you tried seeking out endorphins from taking action and building solidarity and learning about the world around you, instead of fucking brand loyalty?

my only issue with the brutalist megastructure that reaches a thousand towering miles into the sky and is almost cosmically horrifying in its enormity is that i wouldn't be able to sit on the roof and smoke a cigarette while watching the stars without preparing several weeks' worth of hiking gear. and the arctic 80km/ph winds at the top would leave me horribly frostbitten and tear any exposed flesh that touched the cold concrete and metal skeleton of her frame from my bones. otherwise the perfect woman though.
