I can’t get over how good shapes Izzy and Oscar make in this wee moment. And I am heartset that jester and cad have lovely cleric cuddles on the regular, they both fidget throughout - jester wiggles and tippy taps her fingers on cad and plays with his fur and hair whilst cad rubs his face against her (they definitely both nuzzle but I think she picks it up more from him) and occasionally does tight squeezes with his hands either in bunches of her clothes or just on a bit of her (like fore arm).

basically - they do stimmy cuddles. I love stimmy cuddles.

But I think it's beautiful that there is a show that so easily encapsulates these aspects of the human experience without the need to label the fuck out of the character being portrayed.

Total Drama All Stars second season where B gets dragged into Team E-Scope whether he likes it or not

he and izzy are obviously kicking it because like duh she saw him launch a couch 500 feet in the air and immediately knew she wanted to be his friend

i feel like he and eva don't hang out as much but like he fixed her headphones when they broke one time and she stands up for him when people give him shit so he's alright with her

and like he becomes friends with them and Noah's thinking: finally someone with some goddamn chill on this team because outwardly, he is a pretty laid-back guy

izzy made me realize that it's ok to mourn the loss of what your body could've done and it's ok to morn your disability abd we don't have the same disability but the way he mourned is the way I have been mourning

I love ofmd so much. I truly do. I think the representation is amazing, probably the best I've ever seen. But I can't stop myself from being disappointed as an aro person. I'm not necessarily disappointed at the show. I don't expect any character to just say hey btw I'm aromantic, because that's not how the representation in the show work, so it would just be weird. But I wish there was a character I could 100% relate to. I wish I could talk about a character being aro without anyone saying they're not. I'm a firm believer that Izzy is aro, and it's really important to me, but I know most people believe he was in love with Ed, or Stede, or Frenchie, or Lucius..... so yeah it leaves me a bit sad I guess

But I feel like that's not really about ofmd it's more about society being so aphobic. I mean, in a show, if a character is bi, or trans, but it's never mentioned in those terms, people are still going to respect their identities and it would be wrong not to do so. But when it's an aro coded character people are going to overlook it. They're going to ship that character with anyone they ever get close to, it's ridiculous.

-Stede is the one to get him the parrot- something about how hes got the wooden leg he has to complete the look? honestly izzy wasnt listening, stede was using his excited voice and izzys learnt he can zone out a bit when he gets like that. there was a hat too but that went to someone else Real quick (the parrot was trying to eat it anyway)

-i know nothing about parrots but im gonna say stede gets him an African grey. it's the goth-est parrot and they're Friends Now, hes got to give a gift that fits in with izzys Look

-when stede gives it him he protests LOUDLY but when stede gets all sad and says he will return him izzy draws a knife. wtf you can't return my gift Stede

- the parrot learns to say fuck REAL quick

-izzy learns bird care from buttons, obviously- izzy is Rules autistic he needs to know How you look after his pet. he is super rigorous with following the rules and at least one crew member has faced a tirade for feeding him something bad

-the bird rides everywhere on his shoulder. frenchie makes him a little pad so his claws don't scratch izzys leathers and so he can grip better

-he starts stroking the bird as a comfort (in Correct places, thank u buttons) he doesn't notice hes doing it but everyone else does. lucius has a sketch

-you know how some pets are like? exactly like their owners? yeah. this is the grumpiest fucking parrot and they are perfect together. he only likes izzy. after a while he mimicks izzy yelling at the crew and nobody knows what to do they all just. stare. izzy laughs.

- the parrot spends a little too much time with the swede somehow (jackies? izzy & jackie friendship my beloved i will force you in anywhere) and picks up his singing. its. something. they end up using it on raids as part of a fuckery. two haunting tones to create a sense of unreality, of being surrounded.

-i didn't give the parrot a name here because i genuinely believe izzy wouldnt give it a name, hed just call it 'the parrot', occasionally 'my parrot' when drunk. the crew call it mini Izzy.

-someone once gave the parrot a knife because they thought itd be funny. we do not talk about the parrot knife incident.

SMG4 Idea concept (Very self indulgent teehee 🤭):

So Shroomy is just living his life like normal when he starts to have all these weird effects like throwing up, teary eyes, muscles aching, that kinda stuff. He goes to Mario/SMGs 4 and 3/Hal (If we wanna be super self indulgent) to try and figure out what’s wrong. It turns out that Anti is just going fucking nuts trying to take control of Shroomy’s body and the group has to find a way to get him to stop. Anti takes control and goes to attack the others, only to snap and just break down crying. Someone (prolly Hal) eventually finds out that Anti was doing all this due to feeling completely trapped in his own body, having barely socialized since the ‘87 incident. He felt like filth, watching his life be lived by someone else as his mental state declined. The ep would end with Anti getting psychiatric help for his mental health, as he and Shroomy learn to share a body.
