My nephew turned 18 today. I’m so excited to watch as his future unfolds. Though I do miss the little 4 year old who called me on the phone so often that I had to ask his dad to limit it to every other day instead of every single day. But I’m so happy for all the things his future holds. And I will love him every single day, in every single one of those futures, no matter which one this multiverse plays out as.

I highly recommend writing a letter or a greeting card to a younger relative, especially if that relative is not old enough to have their own phone or social media. Everyone likes getting mail. I can text my nephew but not his younger sister. And I got to send her a sticker of my dog's face that now is on her water bottle.
