• Mason loved his horse, I do NOT care what anyone says, but he loved Tex more. He wanted Tex to be happy so he didn’t ask for his horse back so that they could have more money to use to buy Tex his horse back

• I’m not sure if this is canon but Mason absolutely skipped meals to save money.

• He wanted to go to the fair. You CANNOT convince me he DIDNT want to go. He just knew they wouldn’t have enough money for the two of them and he figured Tex should be able to go anyways, with or without him.

This is a conversation I’ve had with my brother when money was tight. “I just don’t want to go, drop it.”

• That ulcer was from stress for sure. Like no way it was anything else.

• He’s absolutely tried, on multiple occasions, to show Tex how bad their dad is because Tex keeps talking abt him like he hung the stars and Mason can’t STAND IT. He wants their dad to care more, but he doesn’t ever let himself believe that he will. Tex might have the luxury of not worrying about money and get to think their dad will be back soon but Mason doesn’t. He needs to plan in case their dad doesn’t EVER come back, which I’m pretty sure is a genuine fear that’s mentioned but I didn’t screenshot it and I can’t get into Internet archive rn to check 💔

see I do believe we will get Eddie in a second Halloween costume on our screens that’s not the werewolf like again in the promo for episode 5 we see Hen in two different costumes and in regards to Eddie’s second costume it will be more in reference with the mustache like would love to see Freddie Mercury but also with the mention earlier prior to the start of season 8 where Ryan mentioned that he would love to play Zorro around the same time that they would have been doing costume fittings for season 8 so I think it is very much a possibility to see Eddie as Freddie or Eddie as Zorro on our screens this Thursday and I’m super excited to see what happens

it's the day before my birthday, and my girlfriend surprised me with an outing to a local bird aviary/botanic gardens in the mountains!!!

this was an absolute delight for me, known bird enjoyer, and i got to have many cute and phenomenal birds perched on my head (which i loved and plushie magolor 'tolerated', on account of it being my birthday). i even got to see a nicobar pigeon, which i had never seen in person before!

they also surprised me with an early birthday present to use at the incredible mountain-top picnic spread my gf planned (😭😭) of this extraordinarily cute kirby themed liquid-glitter cup!!

and of course, in true starflung fashion i injured myself twice

once, not three minutes into the outing when my umbrella (which i only require because i'm allergic to both the sun and sunscreen) bit me, and my gf had to run to reception to get me a bandaid. later, when i just totally fkn stacked it on some loose gravel on a slope and i got the umbrella back by slamming it into the ground, along with my knees and one palm. but not the other palm, which was holding plushie magolor, who touched neither gravel nor dirt and never will while i still breathe!
