Excuse you, we're way hotter than that guy. We've aged out of being a socially anxious nerd in a cloak. Now we're a hot nerd in a trench coat and/or several different layers of jewelry and/or an outfit that has people say to us phrases like "you look like a time traveller who figured that the 1980s are basically the 2020s in the grand scheme of things and is only now realizing that the time periods are very different however you are indeed very hot" or the perhaps more descriptive "you look like harry dubois".

Since I’ve come out as aroace I’ve been dissecting different worldviews i was raised with and how they’re different from the way I want to live my life now. And obviously one of the big things I’ve been contemplating is relationships in media/pop culture.

One of my favourite movies is How to Train Your Dragon.

And tho I’m a sucker for romance, and Hiccstrid all and all that jazz, I absolutely love the relationship between Hiccup and Toothless more.

It’s one of the only movies I can think of where the platonic relationship actually overshadows the romantic relationship. I just love that one doesn’t negate the other, and the message that your platonic or other relationships doesn’t have to be lesser than the one with a romantic partner.

I've gotten reeeaaaallll close to blocking someone but like. I like seeing people's opinions even if I think they're unreasonable. It's a mix of a strange type of entertainment and kind of to keep me open minded? Cuz if I have to look at it and I wanna talk about it I gotta read it through in detail to make sure I'm reading them right so yeah I don't have anyone blocked 💥

i think people should stop thinking in stark black and white and stop taking things violently at face value and maybe society would be a little better. or at least stop making it the problem of other people. it really is a great brain exercise to stop and be like well okay wait a minute. you literally feel better.
