Y'know what? Fuck it. I am a dude. I am sapphic. I love girls in a very gay way. I love boys in a very gay way. I am a guy, but not a man. A use he/him but I am not a man. I don't use she/her but I am sapphic. I have a complicated relationship with a lot of parts of my identity, and that will not change overnight, but right now what is important is that I am amazing.
I am queer and beautiful and in love. I use labels I want and reject ones I don't.

transphobes calling trans people confused for their gender is just a cover up for the fact that the transphobe is confused. I know you cannot fathom the complexities of my gender, but that's not my issue lmfao.

What if I tell you i feel trans in both ways. Like I'm a trans man but also sometimes a girl but there's nothing cis about that.
Also sometimes I'm neither and also both and really I'm just me and I'm definitely trans and queer as fuck

Hi :) I'm a queer researcher doing some queer research for my dissertation and would be so grateful if some of y'all could help me out by taking part
It's a short questionnaire asking you to rate different aspects of your memories before and after coming out (as trans) as well as questions about gender dysphoria (dw if you don't experience gender dysphoria around being trans, your participation is still useful :)
for more info have a look at the poster below and/or my pinned post :3
thank you so much if you take part!!

assimilationism is so wack i actually can't. like do you idiots not understand that queerphobes can't tell any of us apart and don't care to? in the eyes of conservatives, we are all faggots. kissing ass and throwing the rest of us under the bus for table scraps of liberty only creates the false image of progress if you're white, abled, neurotypical, and fall under one of the few labels they can easily understand. yet even for you, it's not real. they'll create the illusion of a good life for you in exchange for oppressing your own community members and then turn around and feed your face to the leopards.
like sorry not sorry, man, but we are all in this together whether you like and appreciate it or not. you're sharing your labels and safe spaces with neopronoun users, he/him lesbians, slur reclaimers, old label adopters, drag queens, loveless aromantics, gnc folks, and the kinksters. we've always been part of the community. it isn't our fault you don't value your own history and vehemently refuse to learn it. we still aren't going anywhere. cope.
how sweet is the blood of your queer siblings as you lick it up clean from the boots of your own oppressors? hope it tastes real fucking good

TRANNY FLAG ♾️
(requested by @lovelesstranniedykefaggot)
Black: in memoriam of the trans people whose lives were claimed by hatred. Dark blue: the joy of finally discovering your true self Magenta: making the choice to accept yourself no matter what, even if it means losing loved ones Light blue: borrowed from the blue stripes in the transgender flag. Pink: borrowed from the pink stripes in the transgender flag. White (stripe only): borrowed from the white stripes in the transgender, genderqueer, and nonbinary flags.
The ouroboros, a snake that eats its own tail for all eternity, represents two things: the never-ending cycle of self-discovery we all experience as we learn and grow, and our inability — our refusal — to be stamped out of existence. It is scientifically impossible to eradicate us, no matter how hard some people will try.
Its single fang is a reminder that, whether we're fighting against dysphoria, fascism, or harmful myths about ourselves, we're not helpless to defend ourselves.
The stripes of this flag are warped and glitched out — by the ouroboros, as it slices through the white center — to symbolize the way we inherently challenge gender norms and society's expectations, pulling them apart at the seams and turning them back into thread, which we can weave a new tapestry with together. Before we can build a better foundation, we have to break free from the institutional restrictions that hold us back.

if we taught people that gender is an abstract concept, you'd probably see less hatred for xenogenders. 'How is your gender a dog that makes no sense' the same way your gender is man, or boy. Maybe I've just intellectually ascended or something, but the idea of someone being a pupgender neogirl just doesn't confuse me.
Stop treating concepts like 'man' and 'woman' as more solid than 'mushroom' or 'cleaver' in terms of gender, because gender in itself is abstract. It makes so much less sense to enforce the 'invalidity' of xenogenders because all these rules are made up.

when i first encountered the term "genderqueer," i was given a broad definition that meant "queer relationships with gender," and the word was used as an umbrella term.
i want to bring it back. i want to make usage of the word genderqueer as an umbrella term for all queer experiences with gender popular again. i feel like we need it.
because there are tons of queer experiences with gender, and listing them all is exhausting, and you'll always inevitably miss something (because of diversity and complexity of the topic). so i feel the need in some umbrella term for these situations. and i remembered that such a term exists already!
so i'm going to use the word "genderqueer" as an umbrella term for queer relationships with gender and trying to make it well-known again.

UPDATE: thank you everyone that's taken part :) the study has now closed, we got over 200 participants!! thank you so much
Hi, I'm a second year psychology student doing research on how queer people view others within the LGBTQ+ community.
Its just a short task and survey that should take 5-10minutes to complete, any participation is appreciated! Thank you!

Extra clarrification on some things under the cut :)
In this study we use the words "(gender) conforming" to mean anyone thats not part of the LGBTQ+ community and "(gender)non-conforming" for anyone that is. This was suggested to help us code the results better, but we now know that this may have overcomplicated things.
The first part of the study involves an IAT, for some people they will be put into the "positive, conforming" conditioin first and others will be the "positive, nonconforming" first. It may seem scewed, and some people have bought up that it can seem bias, but that is just how this type of test works- it has been used and tested in many other studies and has not shown internal bias.
These are the main two points people have bought up, feel free to ask any other questions about this research though I will be happy to try and answer as much as I can :)
