This is what I'm talking about when I say "fandom and media are not for everyone" BTW. The inability to tell fiction from reality is so widespread that large numbers of people simply do not have the critical thinking skills to genuinely enjoy fiction, let alone navigate communities that are dedicated to discussing fiction.
