my bias as someone that's been on the drawing side of an artist-writer thing – not to make things about myself but with the way our culture is always eager to discard works by shitty (allegedly) creators idk I think it's good to consider collaborative works are never the product of just 1 person & I don't think the involvement of that 1 bad person means the legacy of everyone else involved should be tarnished &/or thrown out. I get the main value of art these days is as an identity marker but 1 can hope

edit: tbh a big part of why I'm reluctant to collab on longer projects. like potentially investing years of my life into something ppl might sour on overnight if/when that other person fucks up; something I'd have v little or no control over

Broken(?) Emotions

Getting a bit vulnerable with this one.

I've come to realize when we feel things it's either extremely muted and dull, to the point of being numb, or it's so intense it's overwhelming, no in-between. It's honestly exhausting.

I get worried people will be put off by how much we care about things, that we'll make friends uncomfortable when our emotions are dialed to 10.

Plural Systems! This is a comic for my plural friends and i hope it helps any singlets reading understand a little more about them ^^ for the record I'm not plural, im not an authority on the subject but I'm trying my best to learn more and wanted to share!

This whole comic came from someone in our community that im very close with but im not sure if they have officially stated they are Plural here so ill not tag them, needless to say if it wasn't for them and thier amaizng headmates i couldn't have made this comic, thier experiences have helped me understand a whole other type of experience in a way that im sure i wouldn't have been able to understand without them!

Hi y'all, Cynthia here! Gonna throw out a small cry for help and bother y'all.

We're kinda really struggling right now to make ends meet. Between being unsure about making rent and needing funds to be able to get to our appointment in Austin, we could really use the extra help.

Content aside. I'm trying to start drawing without using the 3D models I've been depending upon the last few years. This is the first proper full attempt that's worked out mostly the way I wanted. This is a big step for me, both in headspace and artistically. It isn't perfect. I see the flaws and mistakes. I see how I can do better next time. But mainly, most importantly, I see that I was able to draw something *good enough* without using a crutch that I desperately want to stop *needing.*

And I'm a Nidoking now. Or maybe a Nidorino. Or if I liked coffee, a NidoCCino. I don't care for Nidoqueen's design as much, and I *am* a trans woman, so like. Ye. Queen not by birth but by association or something.
