Strawberry Glaze Smoothie Recipe
This is totally inspired by Hailey Bieber's strawberry glaze skin smoothie but made for us girlies who definitely can't afford a $19 smoothie daily lol. I've noticed a difference in my skin since I started having this smoothie (almost) every day and I'm not one to gatekeep!
Ingredients
250ml almond or coconut milk (adjust for desired consistency)
1 ripe banana
80g strawberries (about 5-6 medium-sized strawberries)
1/4 avocado
2-3 dates, pitted
teaspoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 serving of vanilla collagen powder (mine is from bulk - 15g)
1/2 teaspoon natural vanilla flavoring
1 tablespoon coconut cream
spoonful of strawberry syrup or glaze (optional, to taste)
Method
Peel the banana, pit the dates, and remove the stems from the strawberries.
In a blender, combine almond or coconut milk, banana, strawberries, avocado, dates, maple syrup, vanilla collagen powder, natural vanilla flavoring, and coconut cream.
Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more almond or coconut milk to reach your desired consistency.
If you would like, drizzle in a spoonful of strawberry syrup at the bottom of your cup / glass before serving for extra strawberry flavour.

WHAT'S THEIR PURPOSE IN YOUR LIFE ? 🗝
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pick only one picture that resonates the most with you. allow yourself to have an open mind and please only take what resonates as it's a general reading. this reading is only for entertainment purposes and is not 100% correct.
Allow me to tap into your energy, please.
Pile 1
the lovers, 9 of swords, 10 of wands, Temperance
For some of you this could be a love interest, and they are here to teach you the meaning of true & unconditional love. They are here to trigger healing in you, you may feel anxious or your past is suddenly triggered when you talk to this person. They are here for your spiritual growth. Love is Godliness, a feeling closest to god.
You may be twinflames because they trigger each other to heal. You may also be scared of love because it feels new to you, maybe you never received enough love from others and this made you feel bad about yourself. They are here to help you love yourself. It's their purpose to teach you love by triggering unhealed traumas.
You carry lots of baggages, even from your past life. They will help you live freely by releasing all of that and heal your inner child who feels like a burden, but is not. Even though I'm seeing that healing yourself will be a very tough journey, but that's the reason why your soul has incarnated into who you are today, at this moment.
You may have had experiences in your life when people lied to you or betrayed you, even in love you were cheated on. Your higher self is guiding you right now. Please focus on your healing and balancing your karma. They will help you address these wounds and they will also help you connect to your higher self and guides.
Pile 2
2 of pentacles, the fool, two of wands, page of swords
pile 2, your energy is very contradicting and hard to read. You are someone very confused and chaotic in life. You take risks then you immediately regret your life decisions lol. But the person you're asking about will help you with your chaotic energy and scattered behavior.
They are like a portal for you. New doors will be opened in your life through them. So be ready for it! They will help you get out of your inner chaos and explore the outer world more and create a balance between both.
They will go on dates with you. They may act a bit strict sometimes but it's for your betterment. You may not see the good in this right now, but later in life you'll be thankful to have them in your life. They can be a friend or a lover.
An extra thing I'm seeing is that you guys may connect over social media or just text a lot in general. You will make them feel like a child again. I'm also seeing that they will help you regain the lost momentum or control you had over your life.
Pile 3
ace of wands, king of pentacles, strength, the chariot, 9 of cups, 2 pentacles
Some of you could be asking about a mentor or a guide. They can be a spiritual master or a teacher of yours. They are here to provide you guidance and help you develo thinking abilities and skills so that you can manifest opportunities in your life. Or reach your goals.
They are here to provide you support, emotional and physical or even spiritual. They will console you whenever you feel down or sad. You are like their own child. And they deeply connect with you to a spiritual level.
You are someone who is very chaotic amd lacks direction in life. They will probably come into your life in a situation where you are juggling between a lot of things without clarity. They will show you a way out of this world. They will help you create a path and move in proper direction with a sense of clarity. They will also help you get stable in life.

Would you say that drawing so many comic panels of bg3 has improved your art skill and if so which traits specifically have gotten better? (the speed of which you draw these is what I aspire to do one day)
Tumblr media
I am not good at the self-reflective details, but even though I don't know what I improved, without a doubt I improved something. It's like exercising. You push yourself a lil bit every day and even though you can't see the results short-term-wise...Long term? Healthy toned muscles baby~
It's like killing those 50 rats in the tavern basement in Act 3. Sure you've defeated the Avatar of Death in the last Act, but you still get experience for obliterating 50 rats. 50 experience is 50 experience. Every little drawing and ankle-biting rat counts.
old art rambles below:
Tumblr media
Really the reason I don't know what I've truly improved on is because I've uh. been ceaselessly drawing comics before this, so the BG3 comics were more like casual self-serving therapy on my end. Had to drop everything and give Greygold a satisfactory ending because how dare. I'd say after a year, the spiteful grief has healed quite nicely at least~ Marvelous story that, had me impacted and reacting and everything.
I do think this has helped me loosen up my style though. Was gripped by the perfectionism bug before the casual draws. Obsessed with having everything look like a fully rendered illustration -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rather than keeping things simple. Had my lineart and shading stiff as a corpse until I got into 'fuck it' expressionism mode.
Tumblr media
Had ye ol' classic 'can't see the forest for the trees' drawing priorities. Focused too much on details rather than the big picture.
Tumblr media
It will be interesting ( if I do continue my old comic) to see what I do differently now, and to see if I really did improve from drawing sillies for a year.

Hi, may i please have any lmhs geto crumbs, i'll take literally anything, like what's his favorite breakfast... can't get the fanart of him carving the betrothal necklace out of my head.. will absolutely Weep™️ the moment he's mentioned in the fic.. 😭
DKJBVJKDFVB
here are some more lmhs geto tidbits to keep you fed until the fic drops!
He knew he would hate Gojo before they even met, and he was right - for all of five minutes. Against his better judgement (and the warnings of his family), he found himself almost immediately endeared to the blue-eyed idiot whose wit was as sharp as the metaphorical ice chip on his shoulder. (Geto could thaw him out. The world looked down at Gojo unfairly, but Geto could show him that it wasn't all bad. Maybe he shouldn't, but he wanted to.)
His favorite food is Lotus Root and Dried Squid soup, something that was hard to come by as a child (lotus roots had to be imported from the southern Earth Kingdom and were expensive) but was easier to procure when he was sent off to study.
He used to think he was an exceptionally skilled healer until he met Shoko. If he was out training or hunting with his family, he was the one who used his bending to tend wounds. But Shoko humbled him within seconds. He was, at least, gracious about it, even if slightly embarrassed at his previous cockiness.

Genuine question, sorry if it's dumb -
How do you work when there's something on the line? I find I freeze, and it's just so much more difficult to properly organize myself to produce something I'm proud of. But you've been to conventions, and you sell your work, so I'm assuming you feel pressure at least *sometimes.* do you work with it? Around it?
Hey Tymbul, it's not a dumb question, it's actually a really good one. I can only answer it to the best of my own abilities, in regards to my own art and practice, so mileage may vary.
This feeling of something being is "on the line" was what burned me out hard in 2019/20. I'd been making and sharing art for decades and all the while my thoughts took the shape of, "it has to be GOOD, it has to SAY something, it needs to hit X and Y requirement to be worthy" etc. Wherever that habit of pressuring myself came from, it wasn't helpful. I would glare at the blank page and curse every sketch I made because it (and by extension, myself) wasn't ever good enough.
I knew something had to change, so I changed. I began trying to make art with no pressure. Instead of pushing myself I let my foot off the brake. I changed the way I talked to myself about art. "I'm going to make this as good as I can. And if I can't, there's always next painting." I began starting a piece with fast, easy, not-precious stuff--random paint smears, doodles, gesture sketches. The pressure was off when all I had to do was start with trash and play around. If it just wasn't working and I had to scrap it or start over, oh well, it was just trash. I still run into this pressure today, though. Growth ain't linear and all that. Old habits die hard. I have to snap myself out of it with a feral screeching JUST THROW PAINT ON IT RRRRRRRRGH and I can usually let up on the brakes enough to get it going. It's a journey.
I like to think of this in terms of dog training. If you punch your dog and yell at it, that dog is going to have fear and doubt and won't be a healthy dog capable of performing the tasks you ask of it. But if you use positive reinforcement, they develop confidence and become dependable and sturdy. If you sit down to make art and every time its a barrage of IT HAS TO BE GOOD! YOU HAVE TO BE PROUD OF IT! EVERY NEW PIECE HAS TO BE BETTER! IF IT ISN'T YOU'LL BE A FAILURE! WHY AREN'T YOU DRAWING YET then man, that dog is cowering in the corner, it is not going to sit or fetch or anything. What if instead you said, "Okay! Time to make something. Let's do warm-ups and thumbnails to prepare so I'm ready to jump in. I am open to surprising myself by making something I'm excited about, but I won't beat myself up if today isn't that day. I know by doing this I'm practicing and getting better, it is never a waste." You are much more likely to Do a Thing if that thing feels good to do. That's just being an animal, man. Positive feedback.
To be honest, though, I still haven't found a successful way to make commissions less like pulling teeth. My method of art-making is to fuck around and find out and that's not a conducive method for a comm, which usually has a ton more expectation and strict parameters and my nemesis: Should-Look-Like. I am good at some things, I am not good at comms. Progress is not linear. I am still learning. My efforts to let up on the brakes made it so the car was a lot harder to control... for better or worse.
Hope this helps. Mostly, my advice is to find out how making art can feel good to you and then make a ton of it. Make more art than you think you should. It gets easier. And don't punch your dog.

Discipline is not a lack of freedom, it is a harmonious relationship with time. Managing your schedule and daily habits well is a necessary component to free up the practical and creative capacity to make great art.

so many people have never held an idea loosely and played with it until it laughed with them - it shows in how they cling desperately to the nebulous idea of objective goodness.
"don't say this, don't say it that way, don't joke about that, um actually it is that deep and here's an essay on why" - a culture of superfluous and cynical (but well meaning - so so so well meaning) deconstruction has wrecked the ability to have mental fun.
the need to be morally correct has colonized the natural right to try on fancies and slip in an out of perspectives like clothes and god - oh god - your art suffers for it. wooden, stiff, serious, bound, lacking in soul, rigid, dogmatic, seeking approval (rather than authenticity).
you don't play with anything, the inner child is replaced by a miserable adult who desparately needs to be good to be right to be perfect so as not to offend (to be valued).
stop trying to be perfect. life is messy and so are you, it's part of the price you pay for the privilege (yes) of being here. openhearted imperfection will widen the Perspective that dogmatic righteousness closes in you.
