#sir! the blorbo backport operation was a success #also the materia isn't just silly random colors. i did in fact actually consider what he should have. in order from left->right:#twin stinger: enemy skill (big guard; white wind)+magic efficiency; steadfast block+provoke #shinra alpha: subversion+warding; binding+magnify; assess+synergy #i actually am not sure if the subversion+warding combo disables the curse ring's instant death countdown #but it would be SICK AF if it did #anyway yea he's tanky support build with high defense stats but his damage output is giving 'middle schooler with a pool noodle' vibes #but it's ok because he's an annoying unkillable mfer with a sexy sword so it all balances out #ffvii #kunsel #my art <3

#im gonna do the interior tmrw but im pretty happy with how these turned out #i used the volvo laplander as reference for the front and the rest is based on a honda mini pickup truck #the bars around the chassis was an afterthought.. partly bc i thought it would look cool and partly because i thought #it would be good to add something to keep the trailer attachment in place.. i think theyre used more for offroad vehicles though idk #the folding screen is also partly to block out the view of sleights room and its painted with stars to act as a backdrop #idk if the stage is strong enough to support her weight with just thick wires keeping it suspended so.. maybe smth like #a table or chair gets wedged underneath to support it from the bottom too. i just couldnt fit it on there #myart #my art #my oc #oc #sleight #concept art #doodles #vehicles #sketches #wip #idk if im gonna color this i think ill just leave it like this

hey small artists…

i understand that you want your art to reach an audience. you want recognition for your talent, and damn you deserve it! but it’s important to remember that likes and followers don’t define your art.

i’ve seen so many unique, talented artists that only get 12 likes on their posts. i’ve seen people that just post low effort doodles and get thousands of likes.

successful artists are usually successful because they understand social medias algorithm. the “algorithm” is confusing. you have to add the RIGHT amount of tags and post your art at the RIGHT time and have the RIGHT quality. it’s weird. it’s confusing.

and also, success with your art online doesn’t happen overnight. it takes a while to build up. don’t get discouraged when a piece that took you days to make only got, i don’t know, 7 likes on tumblr. it’s okay. it takes time to build up an audience.

i believe in you, success will find you one day, and keep going. keep working on your art, keep being unique, don’t pander to others, and just keep being you.

(edit: i didn’t know tumblr didn’t really have an algorithm but you get the idea lol)

#star wars #boba fett #tbobf #book of boba fett #tusken raiders #tusken #redbean art #sw au #<- maybe?#in which the tribe doesnt get killed bc they were off on a krayt hunting trip when cad bane/pykes arrived #the krayt hunt in question is the same one din cobb and dins tusken friends were on #that is also how boba got his armor back #he showed up to help w the hunt; saw cobb in the background; and promptly tackled the guy to get his stuff back #the red fabric on his pre krayt mask mimics the visor paint #the visor and filter are based off his early krayts claw helmet #the belt plates are engraved with jasters jp and mandalor sigils #partially in remembrance and partially so he doesnt end up looking like maul's death watch/shadow collective commandos lol #the shoulder teeth (arranged like his wookiee braids) are from the six legged sand creature he killed #because i think the tuskens would be very supportive of his monster tooth collecting hobby from that one comic #post krayt he gets to keep a krayt tooth but it doesnt fit on his belt so he keeps it in his tent or something #in the post krayt design most of his armor is layered between the inner and outer robes #he gets more souvenir teeth arranged like the tusken mentors belt beads #couldnt decide whether to leave the tusken horns on or off post krayt #but i couldnt figure out a good way to adhere them to the helmet without blocking the rangefinder rotation or having to glue them #so no tusken horns for the post krayt design
